Amazing place! I was looking up a cool place to see and a movie and saw this place. The ticket price isn’t too bad per car and getting to the place isn’t too difficult. You tune into the sound through your radio, but if you don’t want to keep the car running, they will lend you a radio if you give them your id, but it is free! The staff were also super helpful and welcoming, I couldn’t figure out how to turn my parking lights off but they helped me find the parking brake and turn it off! The food is also very good. You order online and you get a popcorn for free with every order. We got wings for a really good price and they were very big and very tasty, a frozen mango cup, delicious and cheap, and the popcorn which was free and amazing. I have also heard that the tacos are really good. The food is brought to you so you can just stay in your car and watch your movie! The screen is also big and the parking is spread out enough that you don’t feel cramped. Overall, an amazing place to see a drive-in movie with great staff and food! Definitely will be going back!

SUCH a fun time (even on a chilly December evening in Chicago)— I took my kids to see Home Alone and we all had a great time. We arrived about 20 minutes before the show started. We were greeted by a super kind gentleman who directed us where to go, easily parked our car, and we’re given a sheet of paper with the QR code for ordering food and drinks. We ordered the chicken tacos, the beef tacos (both were amazing, and the salsa it came with ‍ ) popcorn + a burger & hotdog for the kids — it was brought quickly to our car shortly after ordering. Food was great & the experience was great— my kids can’t wait to go back again. This is a must-do for a fun family night or date night. Thanks, ChiTown Movies! Heads up: I recommend bringing a portable FM radio — I got one from Amazon for ~$25. It provided great sound and we didn’t have to worry about our car battery taking a hit.

Drive in theaters are harder and harder to find. Its a great date night. However, the movie did start a little late. There were technical difficulties that resulted in the movie restarting about 15 minutes in. They were able to restart it quickly, but at about 5 minutes into the film (thus we re-watched about 10 minutes). With the cost of entry being per car we saved vs seeing a movie in a traditional theater. As far as the staff, the ones we interacted with were polite. We did order food to be delivered to the car. Prices were very reasonable. Many healthy items are priced at just $1! Even with the initial issues, we will be going back.

This place was so nostalgic for me and my two best friends, it brought back so many memories from the 70's. I even started my car to make sure my battery didn't die. That was one of things I remember my dad doing to make sure his battery didn't die. Guess what was so funny? At the end of the movie the guy came out with a jump starter for batteries for the cars whose battery had died. Lol But I guess the icing on the cake was Mike there was a discrepancy about an order and he was so very patient nice and kind to resolve the issue. Please let me not forget to mention Marleni and her humble spirit she's top notch. Oh what a night...

I've been coming here since they opened in 2020 during the pandemic and it's by far one of my favorite summertime / fall things to do in Chicago. Great movies (Definitely go in the fall when they show Rocky Horror). Staff is also amazing - our battery died and as soon as the movie was over someone was over to jump our car and we were out in minutes. I am always looking for fun, affordable things to do outside in the warmer months and this is by one of my favorites. Great for families, date nights, and going with friends.

We been several times, just to have the experience of the old school drive-in feel because... you can barely see the movie on the screen because of the surrounding lights. Hopefully they can invest in a better projecting system with better throw. If, you have poor eyesight this is not the place for you!! Food is fine, reasonable prices.... environment is safe and the staff is very inviting and helpful!! They should also invest in portable restrooms for the disabled!!!! Just a thought!

One of my favorite places to visit in Chicago! It plays all types of movies new and old and the parking is very spacious! They serve all types of snacks, and even meals like tacos, cheese fries and burgers! The employees are really friendly, and they bring your food to your car! Top notch service! I love coming here with my family and friends. It’s just a great place to relax and have a good night out. No other place like this in Chicago!

This is such a great experience for the whole family to enjoy. We found this place during the pandemic and we've loved it ever since. My 10 year old loves it and would go every weelend if she could. They show the best classic and today's movies. The street tacos and pizza are the best in town. This drive-in the city is a such treasure! I highly recommend visiting again and again.

The Tacos are some of the best I've had in the city! They will bring your order straight to your car during the movie which is a plus. The movie sound is fed through your car's sound system so no problems there. And afterwards my battery died but staff Keno jumped my car and got me back on the road!!! Thank you Keno for the excellent customer service!

This was my first time coming here and I'll definitely be back!! The place is easy to find and the staff are really friendly. I didn't have a radio but just gave the staff my license so I could borrow a radio for the movie. The bathroom's are nearby in a building. Unfortunately, the lot itself where your park is not wheelchair accessible.

Went to see Encanto and loved the experience. There weren't a lot of other people but the drive in is set up nicely and can accommodate a number of cars. It was easy to order food and the food was reasonably priced. The picture was clear and it was easy enough to tune the radio to the FM channel to get the sound. I'll definitely be back.

Had a great time. Smoothness process of parking/ picking your spot. Ordered food and drink a couple times which was easy and convenient delivering right to your car. Staff was very friendly and wanting to make sure you had a great time. Dog friendly. Will definitely be keeping an eye on what movies they play and be coming back.

This was a great experience. The location wasn't too far out of the way. You felt safe, you were in a gated area. The price was reasonable especially if you use groupon. The food was good especially the tacos. I loved the ordering process, you use their website and they bring the food to your car. Great for families.

Super cool venue, they bring food to your car! AND there is indoor really nice bathrooms. All the fun of a normal movie theatre but from your car. Only issue I had was the fact that audio is played threw your car radio. I recommend bringing a small handheld radio or speaker if your car has issues with it's battery.

Nice and quaint location! Friendly staff! Decent prices! Free popcorn was ok since it was FREE!!! The chicken taco seemed to be the tastiest of the 3 (chicken, beef, according to bae and pork). The green sauce for the tacos is very thin but tasty! Chicken wings weren’t terrible (tad bit too big for my liking)!

  • Deanna Hernandez

Well, the drive in was Nice. Clear view, Nice space around the car, but the bathrooms... Understandable they aren't by the Drive in, but the condition they were in was unacceptable. No sink just paper towels and sanitizer... Hopefully they get that taken care of soon. It was a good time!

  • TheAGSuperStars

Was pretty pricey for tickets and food and idk how or where the food was coming from but it was decent. there was a lost dog and it was scary because i went to a late show. But maybe I was just h!gh but idk it was weird the guy who scanned my ticket was super nice though <3

It's been fantastic having a drive-in option that we don't have to drive hours to go see. The experience has been seamless and we love the convenience of being able to order food that is delivered to your car. The staff are really friendly and helpful. No complaints!

First and not last time coming here. You use your car radio for speakers just tune into 89.9. We were in spot b9 it was an ok spot. I think b4 thru 7 would have been better because my side panal was in the way of the screen. If we had moved

I love this place! To think there is a Drive-In Theater in the city that shows classic movies and has a great choice of food and beverages is incredible! I cannot suggest this drive-in enough! The gentleman taking the tickets was genuinely

It was okay, something different in the pandemic. The screen is smallish unless you're right up front and it wasn't totally dark. We tried to sit in the backseat for comfort, but it was hard to see. The radio sound was good but had a weird

This is such a great drive-in! The screen and sound (you play the sound through your radio) are great, and they have really good food (burgers, fries, pizza, wings, popcorn, fruit, and candy) and drinks (sodas, water, beer, wine, seltzers)

So, I'm a huge lover of the old school drive-in movies. I'm a child of the 70's. I grew up with it. I am from NW Indiana & we have friends that live in Chicago & they suggested we go to this place & see Nightmare on Elm St. They had never

This is a really great drive-in! It's pretty affordable at $40 per car, and the atmosphere was wonderful. It may have been the excitement of going to a drive-in movie---which is somewhat of a dying trend these days---but everyone seemed

This has become one of our favorite places to go see movies. The staff are always really friendly and it is very well organized. We have been coming to movies here since they opened. We always liked the drive in so it's nice to have

  • Robert Stochl

Very cozy drive in. The attendants were very kind and were attentive to people putting their lights on. Literally only giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the movie screen needs to be brighter. You could barely see the movies.

  • Jessica Ramirez

This was our first drive in movie experience and let me tell you, it was awesome! The food was really good too. Definitely will be coming back, I think this is a fun place to have a date or just watch a movie with friends.

  • Alexis Jorge

Always a great time at this place! Just bring your own battery radio (15$) on Amazon. The food is really cheap and delicious and it is the perfect date night for introverts! Lol they even play Halloween movies in the fall!

  • David Zallis

Awesome to have a drive in so close to home. Atmosphere could be better than the more industrial backlot it is in. But, we are in Chicago and real estate is a premium.

  • alexandra coleman

One of my happy places in the summer time. So glad this place exists. You can tell the owner takes pride in this business, and I always feel safe and cared for here!

  • Rohan Mandavilli

Great vibes, you have to tune into a radio station to hear the movie audio. The iPhone apps don’t work but you can borrow their radios to get it to work
