This place has earned every single one of its 5 stars. I used to think that small places like this couldn't compete with Home Depot/Lowe's/Ace/etc, but Francesco (spelling?) knew more about every question i threw at him than all of the people at those other stores combined. And that's not an exaggeration, because I originally went to all of those places in order to solve an issue i had with my lock, and they all sold me things that had nothing to do with the solution. I spent less than 5 minutes talking to Francesco, and not only was i able to solve the problem and now have a working lock/door, but i also better understand the mechanics of the entire thing for any future issues. 20/10, highly recommend, and will never go anywhere else as long as I still live in the city

Frankie was amazing and very helpful. Delighted to help once I explained him the situation. The key was broke and I had two pieces. With those two pieces they were able to make me a new car key for an older model of a 90s Toyota. Additionally told me to come come back if I needed any more help and a few tricks to check and make sure the key was precise. All in all he had excellent communication and customer service. It was a pretty fast and speedy experience and I did not even have to wait long. I stepped in. He introduced himself. Figured out the problem and providing me a professional solution in a simple way and I was happy with they charged me. These guys stand out with amazing service and help.

What Can I say that others Didn't? Best service in Chicago. We Visited my mom in Chicago 3 weeks ago, my little niece locked the Car from the inside and well you know how that went from there, It was or that or to break the window, my friend suggested I will try first to call for a locksmith, So I made a Call and talk with Teddy, Man he was fast, 5 Minutes after I made the call he was there, and 5 minutes later the car door was open. He was professional and very nice, The price was fair and the service as well. Thank you Guys!

After calling multiple locksmith companies that notified me they cannot duplicate my car remote, I walked into Chicago Locksmiths new store location in Ravenswood and they were able to make me a duplicated push to start remote in just 15 minutes! They were also $100 cheaper than the Jeep dealership. I would definitely keep their phone number for future Locksmith jobs. Thank you Chris!

Absolutely wonderful! I came in 5 minutes before close, thinking I had one problem (Fob to our Infiniti stopped working and replacing the battery didn't fix it) and I thought I needed a new one paired. The gentlemen cheerfully said "lets take a look", debugged the actual problem in ~3 minutes, fixed it and had me on my way. I would 100% come back here again and recommend it to others.

Javier arrived on time and was able to assess whether the deadbolt/locks I had installed were secure quickly. He made me new keys all within 10 minutes! Javier came back to change out our top locks and it was a same day last minute request and he was here with an 1.5 hour. Talked to me about all of my options and was really patient. Excellent service and friendly as always!

Chicago Locksmiths came out to look at a deadbolt that would no longer retract. They were at the house within two hours and replaced the mechanism for a fair price. The two technicians were friendly and clean while working on the lock, and the new lock works perfectly. It is smoother than the original lock, and they also tightened up the doorknob at the same time.

I went in to get a bunch of keys copied for my apartment - some of them were very old and hard to get a hold of, but Francisco was so helpful and made sure I could get copies for all of them. He was not only very efficient but extremely friendly and courteous! Really excellent customer service - will definitely return anytime I need a key copied!

Walked in the other day right at closing time because I was having issues with my door latching. The person at the front desk was super helpful getting me set up with the materials I need and explaining what needs to be done. He stayed past closing to make sure I was good to go. Plus he was super friendly to my dog:) The service was excellent!

Ive been going to this establishment for years for needs ranging from key copies to lock out to the purchase of a safe. I love to see small businesses, that care about their reputation in the marketplace and translate that to the level of service these guys are it. I highly recommend any Locksmith needs through them!

I was saved when Javier came out to help me get back into my own car upon a lockout. I left the keys in the trunk while unloading groceries, and I was immediately set at ease by Javier and the team's efficiency, quick response, and professionalism! Great price too, which is always important. Highly recommend.

Nice and respectful people but they will waste your time, no eta, no updates nothing. I wasted my entire weekend waiting on them and almost lost my job because they wouldn’t show up or they end up calling off. I will try again, but I will be looking around for a better offer than $250 just for a simple key.

Great service and very friendly staff attending the the store front. The gentleman there keyed several keys for me in less than a minute and the quality of the copies are flawless. Price is very reasonable and they have a lot of locks and keys available for purchase as well as additional service.

This place is horrible. Do not use this company at all. They do NOT care about the elderly. My poor 70-year old mother waited all day for this “company” to come and they never came nor called us. They’re very unprofessional. Use someone else that actually cares about their customers.

These guys are my go to for getting keys cut. They’re fast, courteous, and they stand behind their work. Skip the hardware store and kiosks and go see the experts if you need keys.

The tech showed up almost an hour after the service timeframe. Then proceeded to damage my door and leave a big mess while replacing one lock and rekeying another. Not happy!
