Christ University is a deemed to be university in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Founded in 1969 as an autonomous college, on 22 July 2008 it was declared as an institution deemed to be university under section 3 of UGC Act 1956 by the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India. Apart from the huge campus and good infrastructure, there is nothing amazing about this place. It is close to impossible to contact the University office for any enquiries whatsoever as nobody answers the calls. The website doesn't provide substantial information; proper assistance is not provided even on campus. The teaching staff and faculty are very rude and disrespectful and think a little too high of themselves like they've achieved everything under the sun. Only a person with an outrageously high percentage might get a seat without donations (which the University claims not to accept). For those who get below, say 94%, getting a seat for BBA is a rare phenomenon. It's ironic how my topic for micropresentation during my interview was 'knowledge is power' because a persons subject knowledge is certainly not valued here. Having studied here for junior college I would say that there is nothing great about the methods of teaching, it's the same as any other institution. Don't be deceived by the infrastructure and external appearance of the University. Trust me, all that glisters is not gold. You can't rate an institution 5 stars just for it's campus. Education is what is supposed to matter. Although Christ may have a good brand value of sorts, it's not worth the trouble.

I am a PhD Scholar at Christ University and have spend over 5 years in the campus. When I joined the college for my under graduation in 2013, I was new to the city but everything with the college was fantastic for me. I got a lot of exposure studying here. Met extremely passionate teachers and ever curious students amongst whome, I could really grow as an individual along with establishing a solid foundation for my career. It's not just academics but academics along with other co curricular activities that makes the experience commendable. I was able to explore a lot of opportunities. In the end, got placement as well in a reputed company. Along with all this, the campus is beautiful with lush green nature. Can you believe that there is even a lake within the campus (unfortunately the entry is restricted). For many of us, just being in the campus in itself is a great joy. From morning 7 AM till night 9 PM, the campus is open. Anytime of the year, there will be some programme or the other, making it an ever vibrant campus. My experience during undergraduation forced me to come back to the university to pursue my PhD. It's a clean green campus with very friendly and supportive staff. The management does everything possible to make the student life the best possible.

> Professors are much partial towards students(except few) > Ex-Christites behave like they own the entire university and dominate others in all activities. They put you down evertime, and professors appreciate that. They could have mentioned this during the admission that post graduate programs are only for sudents who did their UG in Christ, if they behave like this. > The admission staffs are very rude. They don't respect students and their time. > No phone signal availble in the campus. You would get frustrated everyday without these. Also, you can't make or receive any important calls anywhere inside the campus. It would be better, if the management can improve this facility in the campus. > They charge for Wi-Fi during your admission, and they put so many constraints if you would like to access the Wi-Fi in the campus. > Most of the staffs think they own the entire campus, and behaves very rude with the students. > Professors should enhance the way of teaching at least for the professional's courses. We expect you to teach us in industry standards. However, it was like a PU standards. > Virtual teaching skills must be enhanced by all the professors.

One of the best campuses in bangalore. Including Dharmaram and the churches, the campus is spread over 100 acres. However the college campus is around 25 acres. There are huge grounds...10+ basketball grounds..tennis ground, nets for cricket practice etc. Around 18k students are studying in the main campus at a time. There are 8+ food stalls which serve all kind if foods. There are hostels for boys and girls. Jonas hall (for girls) accomodate all UG and PG students. St. Kuriakose Elias Hall (Boys) accomodates PG students only. The infrastructure of the college building and the hostels are good. Its a clean and green campus. Its a happening campus and there is always people roaming around. Everyday there would be some sort of events or exhibitions. I and my friends miss being here a lot. Academically speaking, the campus offers 100+ courses. I myself did MBA here. Around 300+ students passed out in my batch and there was almost a 100% placement as well. Highly Recommended for in campus studies. However I heard not so great things when the classes are being done online during the pandemic. For us, who passed out in, 2018, it was the best 2 years.

The worst college ever. Honestly I would rate christ as negatives. Trust me with great expectations I joined christ main campus thinking I would learn something new and enjoy my college life to the fullest, but not a single day I could sleep peacefully with all those assignments and deadlines. They don’t teach you anything useful. All you learn is to deal with pressure and stress in life nothing related to academic or skills required for future. If you want to make your life terrible you can walk in christ. Also please don’t get fooled by internet like me which claims christ to be one of the top 10 colleges in India for computer science or whatever. Even in the syllabus which they provide in officially website is a complete scam as you can select just one subject out of three core subjects also they don’t teach anything practical or application based. All that you are forced to learn is out-dated theories and derivatives in stats and math. Funnest part is they have everything like ground, labs, placements etc but you are not privileged to use them. My personal advice to every student out there is to keep christ as your very last option.

Most disappointed with Christ University admission system. -When we call regarding any doubts on admission, the calls are not attended. -After got selected by the interview process(MBA), they are asking us to pay 4.35 lakhs as to booking seat. And that 4.35 lakhs is first year fee. How could a family need to adopt for a loan for education could pay that high amount, that to with in 10days. Is education only for people with money? -We directly reach out Christ University to solve this. They said, they consider this amount as a guarantee for the student that they joining only here. My parent asked, instead management could take my certificate as guaranteed admission. But they said to send mail for fathers in Christ University, to consider about this. It more than 20 days I send mail, but still no replies. What a poor strategy. There is only one way communication, no replies, not attending the calls. I'm totaly disappointed by the action of Christ University. I thaught every one, who wish for getting admission to Christ should know this. So that I'm sharing this, here. Thanks for reading.

Best college for BBA course allover India. Great festing experience and a lot more extra curricular activates. The marks are not revealed by college. It offers the best experience for business students and make them realise real business situations in the corporate world. The academics, along with extracurricular activities, make you familiar with the real corporate life. You can also choose specialisation in 3rd year which is not offered by other colleges at undergraduate level. This provides you with the specialised knowledge of area of your interest. IT department is very good which makes it very easy for the students to access the internet and also the main auditorium of christ university is the best. If we talk about the canteen facilities, then we have 2 canteens and 3 food courts on the campus, including Nestle foodcourt.

  • RONY MATHEW

Christ University in Bangalore is known for its impressive infrastructure. The campus is spacious and well-maintained, with modern facilities that cater to the needs of students. The university has state-of-the-art classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, a vast library with a wide range of resources, and a variety of auditoriums and seminar halls. Hostel accommodations are comfortable, and there are numerous recreational and sports facilities available. The campus also boasts a beautiful green environment that contributes to a pleasant atmosphere for learning. Keep in mind that this information might not reflect the current status, so it's a good idea to check for recent reviews and updates from students or visitors.

  • behati azalea

One of the top universities in the world and for good reason. To begin with, the campus is breathtaking, and the atmosphere is amazing. Just walking through the campus is an experience in itself as you take in the modern as well as old school design of the buildings in different areas of the campus. The facilities as well as teaching and learning techniques that you'll receive here is really what takes it to the top however. World class teaching facilities and staff are what manage to keep the reputation of this university so high, and they do not disappoint. A marvelous university with some of the best learning potential in the whole world. A must visit or if you're lucky enough to study here a great opportunity.

  • Mahesh Arun

The campus is amazing I’ll give you that. But as the saying goes appearance can be deceiving. Even though the university gives quality education, the people in the university forget that you are a human. They don’t care about anyone else except themselves. You have to forget about enjoying your life if you are joining this university. If you are someone who cannot take stress this isn’t a place for you. They don’t treat you like humans, they treat you like machines and nothing more. Even though it is an amazing university education wise, I am really disappointed with the way they treat people. Most universities have an option of returning 75% of your fees but these people don’t.

  • Suresh NA

Very good education University, situated on Hosur main road. Located between Bengaluru dairy and Foram mall. This university is managed by Christian charity house. Offers quality education in all undergraduate courses, master's and PhD programs. It is very good, very neat and clean premises. It has very good canteen, which serves quality food for all staffs and students. The university has provided hostel facilities for both boys and girls. The fees of college admission and hostel are quite reasonable. The students studied here got an opportunity to work with top Indian and international companies. This university has very good reputation and has good name across global.

College infrastructure matters a lot , it is simply superb and fantastic . Other than that we have excellent classrooms with projectors , computer labs , special laboratories with good equipment and also sports centers and hostels . As I'm from Mechanical department the curriculum and course is a bit outdated but it is very useful and perfectly explained to the students . Mostly the real life problems and examples are explained here The students can get jobs from their core domain . But , the most no.of jobs offered here is from the IT field . Our college management will provide placement training program for us to get the job without facing much difficulties .

  • subhadip haldar

Campus is too large but good ambience, you will face a lot of pressure of assignment ultimately with no use in future, labs in life science dept is really good, pictures aren't available on internet, coz phone is strictly prohibited. Ke hostel warden is really good person, I will prefer you to opt for hostel for the first year it's cheap and the food provided is kinda average, it cost 4500 per month nonveg Or veg whatever you opt, no lunch and breakfast in sunday.cleanliness is everywhere thats what I love the most here, some fellow don't know how to maintain it and showed their audacity got scolded and kept abusing the college and hostel . Proud christite

Christ University offers UG, PG, and Ph.D. programs through all five campuses. The university is quite popular for its non engineering and MBA programs. Every year more than 25000 students enroll in Christ University. Students aspiring to get admission into B.Tech should appear for the COMEDK exam. For those applying for Christ University MBA admission, appearing for the national-level management exams is a must. Christ University conducts the CUET entrance test for most of its UG and PG courses. The final selection is done on the basis of Micro Presentation (MP), Personal Interview (PI), and Skill Assessment (SA) for all the courses.

  • Sonakshi Massey

I was a part of the BBA program offered by the university. In terms of curriculum, faculty, etc., this program is considered one of the best offered by the institute and truly so! The curriculum had a lot of research based and collaborative assignments to give a simulation of the corporate and to supplement that a lot of business fests are organized by the institute. Most faculties have prior work experience in many industries and thus impart great knowledge to the students. Attendance and class participation apart from examination scores carry a significant amount of weightage. The placements are also decent for a graduate.

  • Elza Mathew

The campus culture at Christ is very lively and being located in the heart of Bangalore city, there is great access to so many events, internships and networking opportunities. The campus is very inclusive in welcoming students from various backgrounds. Beyond academics, Christ encourages students to take up extra-curriculars, organize fests like Impetus and participate in research conventions. These experiences really help build valuable life skills. There are also ample options to get involved in sports, cultural activities and community service projects.

  • Research 2020

The university might be good but here phd program is depressing for few. Won't get approved. Too much attitude. Certain faculty r a waste. Aditi Smitha Aishwarya Meera Janis Shinto Sreenath and many more. They r partial. They try to catch our money without any progress. No rapport between rac and guide. Unnecessary corrections. No proper guidance, might be no knowledge, there r many coordinators but , they cannot control the staff and no experience in guideship. Don't opt this university, you ll lose your everything.

  • Shae Lawrence

The campus is good, but the administration of most departments are extremely incompetent in setting time tables or in providing any student support for that matter. There are a lot of canteens, the people are good, but the extent of redundancy and bureaucracy prevalent in the university is appalling. If flexibility is of significance to you this might not be the university to enroll in. That being said if you require someone enforcing change to improve and lack self discipline the environment would be ideal.

  • Geo Jose

I am an ex student with 5 years of studying experience in Christ. Christ Deemed to be University is one of the best Educational Universities in India that provides Quality Education with best Campus Atmosphere to the Students. Today they are spread across 3 locations in India. Bangalore, Delhi and Pune. In Bangalore itself they are spread across 3 locations. Dairy Circle - Hosur road, Bannerghatta Road and Mysore Road. This is the Central Campus, Bangalore. The 4th location in bangalore - Coming Soon

This is a beautiful campus. There are many trees in the campus with lovely birds too. The campus can be termed as congested in a sense too, because it is in a crowded locality. Junior college education as well as college degrees upto research can be done here. It has lovely class rooms, a fantastic auditorium, nice joints to eat and gigantic play areas. There is a bank, a restaurant and a copier shop within the campus. This campus turns magnificent during Christmas! It is a sight to behold then!

I have applied for the admission in Christ University Bangalore twice for doing masters in cultural studies and communication studies and i got rejected twice by them first time my interview was pretty good and i was confident too but second time i was kind of slipped, sounding nervous and not confident. They didn't even told me the reason and just suggested me the other campus. I don't know why it happened but just sharing my experience. All the best.

  • Anuj Sharma

A huge clean and attractive campus with tons of facilities. Like multiple canteens, and big auditorium with huge display screen , playground, bird shelter with beautiful ducks and many more. They encourage students with many activities while in college and provide placements to students in large number. There are many cultural and other events happening every time of the year , especially the Christmas celebration and the campus during it is must see .

Christ (Deemed to be university) is my alma mater and am proud to have been given the opportunity to study here. While state of the art resources and education is a matter of fact here, it has also been a vital part of many philanthropic services both inside and outside the campus. It promotes wholesome development and encourages active participation in various cultural and social activities. Proud to be a Christite.

  • ARPIT SOOD

Recently went to Christ University for a Marketing competition in USHUS 2022 and fell in love with the campus. Located at a hub of Bangalore with proper space for games and academics. The interactions with student athletes was good and it was a great learning experience. The canteens offer a wide variety of food at good prices and the only issue is the network connectivity inside the campus.

  • Utsav Kumar

It is a osm University, it's placement ratio is also good up to 80%,if do some work or activities in your college you can easily get the package of 6-7 LPA ,if you do hark work then you will get more than this..... But it is very difficult to take admission in this college because it's enterance exam is also tough and interview also held ......

  • Pavankumar Adapa

All kinds of activities will be play inside the premises. Mannerful staff and very helpful. Food in the canteen will get delicious Kerala food.

CHRIST (Deemed to be University) was born out of the educational vision of St Kuriakose Elias Chavara, an educationalist and social reformer of the nineteenth century in South India. He founded the first Catholic indigenous congregation, Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), in 1831 which administers CHRIST (Deemed to be University).

  • JeromLeeMark Vlog

I went Christ University for some student festival. My friend Ronald Bob invited me for the program. The college atmosphere is really super, it is like Oxford University. I met so many friends were performed dance, memes, sing, drama. Really i enjoyed almost one 5 hours. Now, i am planning to join my MBA in here.

  • Plank Ton

The campus rocks! Trust me, it's difficult to find a better campus. It's a great place to study at and enjoy college life but the rules are quite tight here. If you're okay with strict rules and if you wanna join an awesome college with tons of events and functions, look no further.

My son is studying BBA here. He was saying quality of teachers are not so good and very average. But big hype is created about this comment. Secondly, they keep exams and tests next day of any Hindu festivals. Appears very sadist nature of this institution.

Excellent campus and infrastructure. Great exposure for all the courses and you'll get to meet lots of talented and lovely people. You'll be well prepared for a professional and personal life. The time you spend on the campus is worth every minute.
