VIP is terrible. We went to the VIP section as we were hoping for a better experience than the regular theatres, but relative to the price, VIP is much worse. The movie started half an hour late. The kitchen messed up our order, then the waitress messed up our order. The food selection is worse than the regular theatre section. Unless you just want popcorn and pop, you must order through the app or by one of the servers roaming the theatre. They have mostly high-end pub food and various alcohol (no Tim's, no brand-name pizza, no yogurt/ice cream on this side). A server took our order but a different server delivered the food. The kitchen messed up our order. We had an order of fish and chips with poutine instead of fries, and chicken tenders with fries. The kitchen put the fish with regular fries and the chicken with the poutine. Then the server messed up by thinking the fish was chicken and the chicken was fish. We told her that she mixed up the dishes and the fries were also mixed up. Instead of doing anything at all she just stood there for an uncomfortable silence not doing anything, it was as if she had never served food before. It took quite a bit more nudging to get her to at least use her hands to give the fish to the right person and the chicken to the right person, (instead of having us walk all the way down the aisle to do her job for her). The movie was supposed to start at 4pm but the projectionist didn't even come into the theatre until 4:26pm, the movie started a few minutes later. It's really ridiculous to have people waiting half an hour in front of a blank screen wondering when the movie will start. In general the seats are a bit wider and comfortable than regular but the unmovable trays you eat on are uncomfortable and on the side facing someone you may not know. One side of the seat has a raisable armrest which presumably is how couples would sit, but on the other side is the unmovable tray facing another person's unmovable tray, so basically you would be eating facing a complete stranger. They could have at least made the tray movable as a swing towards you so you don't have to lean over your side to eat which is not good for digestion.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Cineplex Queensway VIP for the first time, and it was undeniably a unique cinematic experience. As a movie enthusiast, I've frequented various theaters, but this VIP encounter brought a new dimension to the traditional movie night. Upon entering, I was immediately struck by the upscale ambiance. The VIP section exudes a sophisticated charm, creating an inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for a premium movie night. The service was prompt, and the staff's attention to detail added a touch of luxury to the overall experience. One highlight of my visit was the ability to use my Scene points, making the outing not only entertaining but also cost-effective. Being able to redeem points for tickets and snacks added an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience. It's always a win when you can turn loyalty into entertainment. Now, let's talk about the seating. While the seats at Cineplex Queensway VIP were undoubtedly comfortable, I found myself in a bit of a dilemma. Having recently experienced another cinema with full reclined seats, it's now a challenge to revert to anything less. The VIP seats were good, but once you've tasted the luxury of full recliners, it's hard to settle for anything less. The VIP treatment extended to the cinematic offerings. The screen quality and sound system were top-notch, providing a truly immersive experience. The selection of movies was diverse, catering to various tastes, and the in-seat dining option added a delightful touch to the overall cinematic adventure. Cineplex Queensway VIP is undoubtedly a great choice for those seeking an elevated movie experience. The ambiance, service, and Scene points integration make it a standout in the cinema landscape. However, for those who have savored the luxury of full reclined seats elsewhere, returning to anything less becomes a bit of a cinematic challenge. Despite this, my overall experience was positive, and I would recommend Cineplex Queensway VIP to anyone looking to infuse a bit of luxury into their movie night.
Cineplex Queensway is a popular destination for movie lovers, offering a variety of movie experiences, including UltraAVX, ScreenX, RealD 3D, and D-Box. With seat reservations now available for regular tickets in addition to UltraAVX, moviegoers can secure their spots in advance. The theatre has a lot of staff members who clean theatres regularly to ensure that cleaning protocols are maintained, making it a safe and enjoyable experience for all. The Queensway location used to be known for its Tim Hortons products, but this is no longer the case, which can be a bit disappointing for long-time moviegoers. However, the recent renovation of the bathrooms is a relief as it was way overdue. The seats are alright pending on which theatre you go into and they're routinely cleaned after each showtime. For those who want a more exclusive experience, the VIP addition at Cineplex Queensway is a must-try. The VIP version of the theatre has a separate entrance, eight individual bathrooms, and a dining experience available before and after the show. The seats in the VIP section are comfortable, making the movie-watching experience enjoyable. Customers can order food and beverages from their seats, and a staff member will deliver the items to them. Even if you arrive late, you can still order outside and eat later or at the seats. One downside of Cineplex Queensway is the new charge for online booking, which may be a turn-off for some moviegoers. However, there is a way to save some money by purchasing tickets in person. Another option is the CineClub Movie Subscription Program, which is available for $9.99 per month and waives the online booking fee. Members can enjoy one regular admission ticket every month with no expiration date. A limited number of tickets are also available for $9.99 for the same booking.
Experienced very poor customer service by the “manager” Amandeep K on august 29. We purchased the tickets online and were not notified that the theatre’s AC was down before we purchased the tickets. We also didn’t know it was Aud 5 (AC has been down for a while) before purchasing. We were standing by the customer service desk for a while waiting for help, but Amandeep did not come help us. She and other staff were standing around and talking. When Amandeep finally came over to the desk, we told her about our concerns regarding the hot theatre in Aud 5. She dismissed our concerns, even though my partner has a medical condition. She rudely stated: "there are signs everywhere", as if it simply wasn't her issue. This is wrong, there was only one sign, that was off to the side of the auditorium door, another Cineplex guest stated same in their Google review on Aug 29. She acted as if she did not care. She would not give us a refund, stating that we had to switch our ticket to another movie. It was not until we demanded for a refund that she rudely gave in. She claimed that the AC in the theatre has been down “since yesterday”, but coming to this Cineplex regularly, we know that it has been down for much longer than that. She was speechless when I corrected her about this. We did not even get 100% of our money back, again, when we brought this up to her, she gave us a dirty look and rolled her eyes. I am not looking for the money back but am disappointed by how this was handled by her.
Truly disappointed with the quality of customer care. Purchased a pair of tickets for Last Voyage of Demeter at 6:35pm in auditorium 6. Our tickets were purchased at a kiosk followed by concession only do discover a stifling hot auditorium with no A/c. A standard legal paper found taped to the door advising customers of air cooling issue was discovered upon our immediate exit of the auditorium. Mind you there was ZERO notice upon purchasing the tickets at the kiosk. Searched for a manager and came across Milton (supervisor?manager?) I explained the situation and requested a refund and an explanation as to why no advance notice was given. Mind you I’m still walking around with $60.00 of concessions which Milton stated I could not receive a refund for due the items being in our possession. Are you kidding me? I wasted time travel, ticket purchase and concession and told to return to guest services for refund on our tickets. The guest service line was exceptionally long and instead of accommodating our frustration we had NO choice to wait in line for a refund. Cineplex, this is quality customer care? Perhaps management should collectively put their common sense together and print out an advance notice and/or online notice so ppl don’t waste their time. No movie No concession refund Waste of time and resources. Do better
I guess it doesn’t help that a group sitting at the back of the theatre decided it was their night out, it was their theatre, and talked loudly through the Entire movie. On top of that, the volume was set so low you had to struggle at times to hear the movie. And the reservation for reserved seats was haphazardly and cheaply put together. Yea, you could actually reserve a single seat next to someone. Instead of doing the right thing and creating bubbles as people buy seats, the theatre options are 2 seats randomly located. It also required a conversation when showing the tickets as we were told 3 of us could sit together. Cineplex has had months to figure this out. But web was never their strong suit. So there it is. I feel bad, wish they got this right. I don’t want businesses to fail, and I want to be able to go to the theatre, but it’s on them to get it right. Grow up and stop being so lazy. Oh, and there seems to be no rule around masks in the theatre. Your best bet- buy all 50 seats for $250. Sadly, you can’t pick your own movie. Again, get with THESE TIMES, Cineplex. Time for some innovation.
This used to be my favourite Cineplex, but really disappointed in their inconsistency at my most recent visit. I’ve been to the VIP cinema here many times with my younger brother who is under 19 and was taking him to see the new Spider-Man movie for a nice Sunday evening outing. After scanning us in at the front and us getting on the queue, the person who scanned us in came over to ask for his ID, and then let us know that anyone 19 and under is not allowed in the VIP lounge or auditoriums. We then had to get a refund as we weren’t going to leave him outside, and to top it off their machine wasn’t working so I had to call customer service. The person I spoke to was great and they issued us a refund immediately. While we waited for our Uber right at the entrance not in the lounge or in the auditoriums, one of the attendants came to ask us if everything was okay, as though we should hurry up and leave. I understand if it’s their policy, but it could be made clearer or at least enforced consistently so we would’ve known before coming here many times and not being questioned/asked to leave.
Not a bad movie theatre, seats a pretty comfortable they tip back and forth easily, some people may find this to be annoying. There is a fairly decent sized arcade with quite a few popular games, as well as a series of prizes to choose from if you find yourself to be someone who gets lucky in this department. The theatres themselves are always pretty clean for the next group of people who will be sitting to watch a movie. The bathrooms are also very clean and tidy. There are about eight theatres at this particular location, it’s one floor, and the establishment is very easy to navigate, there is plenty of parking out front, including accessible parking as well as accessible entrances. This location is close to the highway, and bus stops, making it convenient. Food can be purchased on the premises but there are also establishments outside of this cineplex that you can dine at.
Update: Went to see Oppenheimer at the VIP Cineplex on the Queensway Aug 6, 2023 and we were basically the first ones in the theater, ordered our food and received it just before the movie started. The shrimp they gave us was raw in the middle but burnt on the outside and the reason I can tell is that usually when you bite into shrimp it separates, biting into the shrimp that was served to us was like chewing gum and you can feel the meat stretching in the shrimp. We stopped eating and told them about it but they didn't seem to care and didn't do anything about it. This isn't the first time this has happened with some of their other items on their menu and it sure is not a VIP experience when either your food order is late or just not cooked properly. Somebody is going to get sick if they have not already!
I've been here a number of times. A well kept place, always clean, staff are friendly, and there are lots of theatres to choose from. Today we took our son there for his birthday, and had a really nice person (they said they were a manager, but unfortunately I didn't get a name), activate a D-BOX seat for my son. When buying the tix we had no idea what D-BOX was so we just bought the standard tix. After going into the theatre we noticed they were the motion seats. My son was super interested to see if it would work so we let him sit a row behind us in one of them. Originally it didn't move but after the manager activated the seat for him, he was having the time of his life! Thank you to this manager who made his day extra fun! Will be back soon!
I am actually erasing my positive review and putting a review from yesterday my birthday. I went to the VIP Theater and first off they must have turned off the air conditioning because it was so hot in there and I went to see a 3-hour movie. The service was horrific I didn't get my drink till an hour after. The food was horrible I had to send one of the meals back and had to pick a meal of a lesser value and they just made me chicken fingers. They asked me why I was asking for a straw as if I didn't order hundreds of dollars worth of food and you couldn't even give me a damn straw. When I return the meal they were snippy with me and not exactly happy to do so the food was cold. Not the best birthday experience if I have to say.
So my husband and l went to the VIP Section of the movies to watch John Wick 4 because we thought it'll be a fun movie and dinner night with few of our cousins. Let me tell you the movie was good and so were our servers but man the food was just absolutely horrible. I would never go back ever. We paid $88 for taco, burgers and fries and beer and it was just a waste of money. The food was cold, under cooked and I think they just microwave the food and serve it. Worst idea ever and I would not recommend it. Just go to watch a movie and buy snacks and go for dinner elsewhere but man this was my first VIP movie experience and it's definitely the last. Never doing this again. Also the beer was stale and wasn't good either.
Came early for dinner before seeing a movie @ 5:15 in VIP. We were one of 4 tables in the whole restaurant. Server seemed new, his name was Mohamed and he took our order fine, delivered the food but never checked on us, never refilled or even asked. When we finished all of our food, we sat with all our plates and empty cups until another server who had seen our table un-bussed pointed it out to him. When he finally noticed, he didn't come over, he literally shouted across the restaurant "do you want anything". Oooof. When he brought the bill he didn't ask if we wanted dessert or even took the plates or cups. He just walked away. Hope the movie is better than this guys service. Yeesh.
I've had Multiple Sclerosis MS for 13 years now, I can be little unsure on my feet sometimes. Today I went with my wife & daughter to see trolls at Queensway Cineplex Theater 10. As I was heading to our seats with box with drinks and popcorn I lost my footing on stairs and fell & dropped drinks & popcorn. I felt pretty bad about mess I just made but staff was so nice had someone come clean it up & even replaced drinks & popcorn free of charge. What could been something to ruin whole experience at movies with my family ended up being great time together thanks to Cineplex staff at this location. Thank you so much from The Baker Family!
Have been going to this theatre for years since I was a child and never had I experienced any faults with the movies, or theatre. Today a group of us went to watch the sound of freedom and the ac apparently didn’t work in that theatre. There were no fans and no air circulation. As the movie went on it only got hotter and hotter. Towards the end of the movie it was almost unbearable. Couldn’t even put some fans or even close that room and move the movie to another so people could watch comfortably. Great movie but worst atmosphere, service and no consideration since there were also multiple pregnant woman there sitting in the heat.
The VIP area sucks, I had 3 waiters who told me they couldn’t take my order because they didn’t have an iPad? Like huh!? Had to miss a good chunk of the beginning of the movie because I myself wasn’t able to be treated properly (waiters also can’t do there job correctly) because the waiters are supposed to rely on technology like notepads didn’t exist, terrible service waist of time and huge waste on money. You guys in the VIP area need to way better disgusting service. The main issue is why hire waiters and waitresses that aren’t doing there job properly, the manager down there has some serious re-adjusting to do.
This place was absolutely incredible! It was a last minute stop to check out, “Once upon a time in Hollywood”. My wife ended up grabbing tickets for the VIP experience and we were starving, so we ordered dinner, drinks and dessert. The food was served right to our chairs and it was amazing. We had the truffle fries, chicken tacos, quesadilla, and a Cesar for my wife and two fruity cocktails for me. The movie was alright. The seats were not as comfy as I would have thought. The ones at Landmark cinemas are WAAAAYYYY better(reclining). For the price, I would definitely say an upgrade in seats is needed.
For the first time ever, I was actually disappointed with my experience at this VIP theater. I got there early to see a 3:45pm showing on a Saturday, and no server even came up to us to take our order. It wasn't even busy. As the movie was about to start, I decided to go to the concession stand myself. Ended up getting quite a few items for my friend and I. When I asked for a tray, the girl behind the counter told me that they didn't have any. I had to make 2 trips just to be able to bring all the snacks and drinks I bought. I definitely won't be going to this VIP theater again.
This was my childhood movie theatre, so maybe I'm biased but it's a decent one. Clean enough (it IS a movie theatre ), right on the Islington and Queensway bus lines, lots of parking, and the whole theatre is accessible. There are quite a few good resturants, bars, and dispensaries very close to the theatre so it's great if you want to make a night of it. The whole neighbourhood has been under construction for more than a decade so it's in a terrible location though. Really ugly neighbourhood to walk around, but plenty of good stuff if you look.
Ultra AVX or stick to the more premium one's where I saw Blue Beetle but couple weeks back in a regular it's amazing how inconsiderate and ignorant people can be. Watched Mission Impossible and people kept getting up repeatedly causing such distraction and disruption. Especially this family of 4 who's kids were obnoxiously loud then 4 teens who wouldn't get off their phones continued to sneak their friends in and vape drop change on the floor etc. They used to have workers come in periodically to check on things and they need to bring that back.
Nice and huge cineplex for a lot of movie options at good rate especially BOGO offers. I was here to watch a movie a last minute plan that worked, they have showed almost 15-20 mins of advertisements and that was just annoying but the visual and sound effects is great. The cineplex is clean and tidy l, they need vaccination id at the entry which is perfect . They also have good cafeteria inside to pick from and they also provide on seat delivery for the food . They have clean and tidy washrooms and there is mandatory covid 19 protocol takin.
Poorly staffed and not very well managed. With the push to have more people in theatres I would expect Cineplex VIP to deliver a great experience, instead this location is unclean and the staff are not responsive at all. In total we spent $200.00 (movie $45, dinner at the VIP lounge -$85, snacks -$70) and was very underwhelmed. Slow to no service and theatre seats that have not been cleaned since the pandemic are my two takeaways…..my advice is stay away and find another location, this one is not up to par
I like this place. I mostly go for premium experiences, so having the VIP theatres so close to home is great for date nights and weekends. Unfortunately the pricing for VIP is on the high end (Landmark theatres are only $15 for their VIP theatres in Bolton??) So these theatres are more for a premium night out. I rarely do the main cinema because I am socially anxious and I don't like confronting someone who may or may not be in my seat. But as far as premium theatre experiences go, this is pretty good!!
Tons of parking. Clean atmosphere. Lots of workers and helpers. Food is expensive. Waited in line for advertised Starbucks drinks for 10 minutes at the main popcorn and drinks cash only to be disappointed that we waited in the wrong line. Starbucks was not sold there but to the right at a different kiosk. Why advertise there. If they do, mention that the Starbucks kiosk is elsewhere. Or don't advertise. Just my 0.02. Hence the 4 stars + the ridiculous price gouging for movie popcorn and drinks.
We always enjoy the comfy, roomy seats. Popcorn was nice and fresh and delicious. Customer service is professional and friendly - exceptional. Kind thanks to all staff. Well done to the employee we saw (and said hello to) who was carrying a tray into our theatre with two huge 'fruity' drinks (looked like big fishbowl with a base.) She's a better and more talented person than either of us - must add that she was beautiful - my husband agreed with me on that point. Kind thanks to everyone!
I've always loved movie theaters. I remember so many moments spent both acompained or alone watching films, enjoying, putting a pause to life. Cineplex Cinemas is a great place to continue having such moments, the ambience is great and spacious, the snacks and food are actually pretty good. The only reason I don't give it a 5 stars is because of the clerk at the access booth, it was a shame the way she treated me over asking for help and guidance, she clearly didn't wanted to be there.
Not sure what is happening in the VIP area. The bathrooms only have HOT water. Every single bathroom in the VIP has ONLY HOT WATER. I checked under the sink and it looks like this was done on purpose. WHO DOES THAT? This is not to mention they are filthy. As for the food offerings - They ran out of Candy. What movie theatre, especially VIP runs out of Candy? On top of that, the drinks came super late. Also, what is up with the A/C just blaring! Had to go to the car to get sweaters.
This is my absolutely favorite theatre! I’ve been to many others before this one and now I cant see myself watching movies in any other theatre. I have been to both regular and VIP areas of this theatre and it has not disappoint. The staff has always been courteous and friendly. There food is always fresh (never got anything other than fresh). The theatre is always clean (if only humans would understand what a trash can is for!). I would recommend this theatre to anyone!
Cineplex Cinemas Queensway & VIP One of the most chaotic Cineplexes I've been to, but we also don't have many choices in Etobicoke. Surprisingly, they have showings for almost any movies that hit the Canadian movie theatres. The VIP theatres are relatively standard in size, but they do have some that are much smaller with only a few rows. My only complaint is that the cashiers at here at extremely slow. If you want to get food or snacks, come at least 10 minutes earlier.
Always super busy, parking capacity is not sufficient for a large theater. Not much leg room either when people are passing by through the seating aisles. I always that find during the movie, there are youngsters interrupting, talking amongst each other, taking their phones out lighting up the whole place. The younger generation have no manners or movie theatre decorum. Worse are those that bring their babies and are very annoying when they cry. Just stay at home ppl
Pretty clean movie theatre. Giving 3 stars as their photo booth has a curtain missing making it less private when trying to take photos, and the machine charged my card twice for one set of photos. I reported to the manager, but they simply referred me to the manufacturer of the machine rather than reimbursing me there and then. It would have been endless back and forth communication with the manufacturer for just $10. I was disappointed with that "solution".
Overall experience is great! And I love that they show a lot of anime films at this theater as well. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is the concession line is so painfully slow. There could be one person in front of you but you'll still be in the line for almost 5 minutes. VIP seat service combats this for sure but if you find yourself at the VIP concession stand you'll notice the same absurdly long wait time. But overall really friendly staff
I was double charged on the kiosk machines. Staff were helpful but missed the fact two different dates were booked and said I wouldn’t be charged. I noticed a couple days later I was charged two times. I called the manager Mathew and he was good to rectify with vouchers but when I showed up Michael was on duty and really gave me a hard time. I drove down from Brampton and his customer service was horrible. Overall the theatre is quite nice.
Great cineplex location! Has all the options you want— AVX, dbox, VIP,etc. Seats are comfortable, relatively and consistently clean including the washrooms! There’s also 2 washrooms on either side (not including VIP section). Staff are even friendly and seem happy to work there. Plenty of parking spots. Only con would be that it does take some time to get food at Outtakes, something to keep in mind if you’re running late for a movie
I went to the Cineplex Cinemas Queensway to watch the Nun 2 movie in UltraAVX at night. My overall experience was good but , the sound system could have been better, it wasn't too loud. I am saying this because watching a movie like Nun , it's all about the sound effect for me and based on this , I am giving 4 stars. Apart from this, the area was clean ,the toilets were well maintained, and the staff working there were also good.
Not an experience that will go down as superb, definitely not VIP for sure and not worth the additional cost I think. I had to wait almost 20 minutes to get the drink I ordered to the point where I had to leave the movie and head to the bar to ask what happened to my order. I hope this is not a common occurrence and maybe a one off in my case. Unfortunately, I won't know for sure since I don't think I will return.
This is the worst cinema I've been to in terms of cleanliness and prices. In ordinary halls, it is terribly dirty, all the walls are covered in dust, popcorn and stains. Apparently, the cinema is not cleaned at all. Now prices. Prices are too high even in relation to gas stations, where they are already huge. Popcorn, M&M's and two cokes cost $30 which is simply unbearable. I advise you to look at another cinema.
Food is pretty terrible, old popcorn heated up large $8-10, largest drink now is like a medium in size but for $7-8, they don't do sliced pizzas anymore they're personal ones and to be frank are not worth it at all, two times I got it both burnt to taste, 80% sauce and barely any cheese at all. I wish I took a photo. Luckily they do have good screens as it is the only good thing about the place.
V.I.P seats are uncomfortable and they make it seem like they recline but they dont. The backrest wont stay back. Ordered poutine and only had 2 pieces of cheese curds on it. Spend 65 on food and 30 on tickets they got me for 105$. V.I.P is an absolute money grab, Shame on this place. Half the theater here is drunk. Also the seats are dirty, theres lots of pop corn stuck between the seats.
Had a great VIP experience. I got the chair and there was something there from the last people. Easy mistake because it was almost like hidden garbage, so can't fault too much. But the food was good and the drink was fine. Felt like it was rum with cheap juice but it was still yummy. The sound was nice for the movie and good screen. It is my neighborhood go to cinema, but glad it is!
Not a clean place. Floors are sticky, chairs are stained. Saw a cockroach on the door of the theatre as I was leaving. Thank God I didn't buy their overpriced food because I would have hurled it right then at the sight of the cockroach just chilling on the door. The fan above in the theatre spins a bit aggressively during summer, forcing one to dress slightly warmer than outside.
I’ve been coming to cineplex on queensways for some time now. Lots of Peking available but it can be busy on the weekends. I enjoy coming to this location, I recommend checking out their vip section. There’s a bar, lounge dinning area. I recently saw a movie in the ultra avx and that was a fun experience, the screen was fairly larger and the sound quality was impressive.
Beautiful movie theater easily accessible from Gardiner expressway. This movie theatre has a VIP section where you can relax in very comfortable leather chairs with the reclining feature and get served liquor and food. Staff is very friendly, VIP section is spotless. Chairs are very very comfortable. Lots of sparkling clean washrooms. TorontoLocalGuide review.
We went to VIP cinemas as thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The staff were following covid guidelines and directed us with using the facility and service We ordered some food from in theater waiter and it tasted delicious the portions were huge and we ended up ordering more than we could eat though. It's definitely an experience to try for special occasions
Went to see the latest installment of Mission Impossible, the dead reckoning part 1. The theaters are clean and quiet. Nice sound system and wide screens. They used the screen x technology which casts the movie all around the walls which makes you feel as if you're inside the action, similar to the imax experience. Nice location, and easy to get in and out.
Typical cinema experience however very easy parking and very friendly staff. Quite popular when there is a new movie out so I highly recommend you buy your tickets prior to arrival. Clean and well laid out. Ideal for groups, couples and solo fun. Nice little arcade on the side to keep you entertained if you don't mi d trying your hands on some fun
Really like this Cinema. overall, they are very friendly there. The only negative is the little restaurant to buy fries or a burger, etc you will wait and wait. Those lineups for the popcorn are usually quite long, but they move quite quickly, faster than waiting for your cooked food. It’s convenient but expect to wait a while. They move slow there.
I love this theatre. Especially the VIP section. It's by far the best movie theatre in Etobicoke. The really nice thing about the VIP section is that you get service right at your seat. Wine, food, snacks and the service is really awesome. I will continue to go to this theatre whenever there is a great movie to see. I highly recommend this theatre.
Great experience, the theatre was roomy, seats were comfortable, and the wait staff were delightful! I loved how clean the bathrooms were. They are individual stalls/rooms for each toilet and sink for maximum privacy, and all were super nice. The food was great and the drinks Too. This location is better than the young and dundas location for VIP.
I went with my friends to the VIP theater, and we ordered food and drinks. My food never came. I left in the middle of my movie to explain the problem to an employee, and they said they would look after it. They didn't. The food just never got to me. I got a refund at the end of the movie, but I was hungry for 2 hours and went without lunch.
I had the misfortune to see Oppenheimer in the VIP at this Cineplex cinema Queensway on July 23 at the 10:00 pm screening. The sound quality was the “WORST “ I had experienced in my 50 years of watching movies. Do not waste your money watching movies at this theater. Find another theater. Unfortunately there is no option for “zero “ stars.
Was nice we came in and exchanged our gift certificate for tickets for Mario for 645 then right after we're able to get some snacks, we picked the chairs we want at the top and eventually didn't have anyone sitting beside me on the right. The movie was ok had some funny moments but the kids really loved it. Overall pleasant experience:)
I went to the VIP theatre. John L the manager- who did not know this- only I’m having serious health issues- when I had to suddenly leave the theatre he refunded my ticket no questions asked. He is so professional and kind. Thank you John! PS- they had a girl playing guitar and singing - she was amazing!! Highly recommend… …
Bought tickets to Barbie arrived early and drove around for 45 minutes looking for parking. ZERO spots, people parking illegally on the grass and due to congestion an accident happened. Missed the movie. Awful experience will never return to this location. Biggest waste of my time. Negative stars.
Just off the QEW with plenty of parking and a wide assortment of movies to choose from. Very kid friendly with comfortable stadium seating to allow everyone a view without fear of a tall person blocking your view. Good sound systems in every theatre, the snack bar is excessively expensive.
Lots of parking. The large theatre is nice, but seats are narrow, there seems to be more leg room (people were able to pass by without me getting up) where I was sitting. Concession lines were long didn't have time to get snacks before movie started so I skipped it (2 lines were open).
Worst nachos I’ve ever eaten. Toppings tasted expired and the chips and cheese were dried out and cold. Just disgusting. At least I got my money back. For almost $30 you’d expect more quantity as well as quality. It was a measly portion size. Stick with popcorn and you’ll do just fine.
I’ve been there on a busy Tuesday (discount day) and there were huge lines at concessions, everything was very slow. The concessions prices were overpriced as always. The room itself was very clean and I had a great time watching a movie. Might choose less busy days next time.
A young, attractive, Customer Service Rep, by the name of Stephanie Lynn, who checks tickets, at the Theatre entrance, treated my family with extreme courtesy. She has a pleasant personality and a beaming smile. I do hope you appreciate her, the way my family does... Thanks.
First time going to a vip movie, it will not the last time! The seats a beyond comfy, washrooms are individual (amazing) super clean and the staff will come right to your seat to take your order before the movie starts. I don’t think I’ll do a normal movie ever again.
Good parking, me and my pals played speedbag machine and air hockey. We saw the new Scorsese joint. The seats in these theatres kinda suck though. Wish they'd all move over to the easy chair style, I'd happily pay 1.5 - 2 * ticket price if every theatre had those.
They won't let you bring food but they sell expensive garbage food to their customers. Smelly theatre and noisy seats while charging us more than ever before. That will never change because it's just another big monopoly company like many others in this country.
Nice enough theatre but nothing special. The best way to see a show is vip... followed close by IMAX. It's too bad that big movie forces so many ads in your face. Went to see a move today and had to suffer 10 mins of ads after the honor of buying a ticket. Boooo
Always a good experience at this location! The staff is extremely friendly and attentive when taking your pre-show order. I noticed when I visited today, a lot of food trays were not pulling out for patrons, including ours, making it difficult to eat your meal.
Concession stand prices provide zero value to the customer I understand you may not make a lot of money off the admission for the but you cannot be gouging your customer for popcorn pop and candy$100 for 5 people is excessive for your concession stand
I love the atmosphere of VIP experience. The individual washrooms are a great. At seat service is awesome! Seating depth isn't long enough in my opinion and I wish you could get the regular nachos in the VIP section. Overall a great experience!
Not much has changed here since before COVID. Except that you have to select your seats prior when purchasing online, which is a good thing bc then your sitting is guaranteed and you don’t have to rush to get there before the movie starts!
Worst service we ever received at a cineplex. Ticket checker directed us to the wrong theatre and did not apologize. Took over one hour to get popcorns and sofas. When you bring these issues up to staff they just shrug. 0 professionalism.
Like everything lately, VIP is getting to be quite expensive, however IMHO it is still the best theatre experience by far. I love Queensway's location, and the fact that they have a dedicated VIP section that is separated from the crush.
Went to see MI 7 here last week and the subwoofer in the theatre was clearly not working. Paid for VIP and got less than substandard movie experience. The surround sound is better in my basement. I would not recommend coming here.
The service here was pretty good even though there was lineups it moved pretty quick. The staff was friendly. I went to see the movie Paw Patrol with my little nephew. I definitely would visit there again very clean environment
Went to see Spiderman recently. The theater was clean and had two waiters serving customers before the movie started. They were friendly. If you're tall, you should definitely give to VIP - there's enough leg room.
Great place to catch a flick but getting dated and some places remain closed. Have seen the icecream place open for a while and the last several movies had broken seats. Not sure if my luck or just old and used….
I’ve been coming here my whole life. There’s always a kind man checking our tickets who’s been there for such a long time, I’ve never been able to catch his name, but he brightens up the place! Love this theatre
Screen X 270° was first time introduced in Canada , I have experienced it in Europe few years ago and good to have it in home country. Aquaman was the first movie that introduced panoramic 270 in theaters.
This location has gone down hill!! The food is so so terrible! Half cooked and stale! The vibe is off dont like the crowd and the energy at all!. Warning everyone do not come here and waste your money!!!
It is a clean movie theater. Staff was very friendly. The seats were comfortable as I watched Spider-Man. I liked the self service kiosks and how you can get your movie tickets without needing staff. :)
A great Cineplex theater with a large selection of films. They have the standard Cineplex fare that you'd expect and some extra food stands if you need something a little more substantial than popcorn.
These are the worst seats if you have a back problem like me. When I lean back in the seat I need support. However the seat keeps reclining back. No way to stop it. So no support at all. Never again
Nice, clean theater. Nice staff. The theater was pretty empty when we got there so service was quick and easy! Saw the Barbie movie on my birthday (August 25), and had a great time with my family.
Haven't been to a movie since the pandemic. We finally took our 5 year daughter to her first movie theater experience. She was so scared of the seats since they folded up when she leaned back.
One of the worst VIP locations got turned away for being one min late (8:16) the guy was even rude about it at the door DONT COME TO THIS LOCATION terrible service all around NVR COMING BACK
We had a great time, the staff was pleasant and the amenities were clean. The popcorn was hot and delicious. Thank you for a great experience. The flash was amazing on the wide screen …
why does it only have one bathroom when the normal theatre has several? i thought its supposed to be a premium experience. what an incompetent management and company who set it up like this
ok so is VIP worth it? - with $90 paid for 2 drinks and very passable food on top of $50 for tickets for two, NO. seats are uncomfortable and overall experience was just very very mid !!
Large, clean, safe facility, with many theatres and many movie choices. Several food vendor choices and a game arcade. Huge Tuesday discount, easy location. Less busy before dinner time.
Great experience! Very clean, great customer service, comfy seating. Their employees did a really great job of being friendly and attentive - you can tell they work hard, kudos to them!
Getting tickets with the self serve machines couldn't be easier. We chose the regular seats and they were very comfortable and reclaimed. The theatre was clean and staff were friendly.
Decided to have a few apps and cocktails in the VIP lounge prior to movie. The food was terrible. Would definitely never do this again. It's a shame because it's such a great concept!
Not a big fan of the chairs. The one in front of me was constantly reclining onto my feet. My kids could barely keep from being folded into them. Other than that, it's a nice theatre
Standard Cineplex theatre and VIP lounge. The VIP has a separate entrance. Convenient location, although service can be slow sometimes. Serves alcohol and enhanced snack options.
Seats are comfy and spacious. Awesome for a date night. Ample room for drinks and food. Food is delivered to your seat. I had the spicy chicken sandwich which was pretty solid.
First time In this one was in the area was good with a group of friends better you book online to avoid disappointments especially on the weekend most the good seats are taken
Seats in regular theatre could be more comfortable and less squeaky. Saw Barbie and my chair squeaked the entire time. Was kind of embarrassing and couldn't get comfortable.
Decent theatre! It’s a bit of a drive to get to from my place in Mississauga but it has an old school feel to it due to the movie times being displayed outside - fun vibes
Crowded and slow in a holiday Monday afternoon. And my seat was cracked. But the screen, picture and sound were all good, as was the popcorn. And the bathroom was clean.
VIP chairs are better here than Yonge and Dundas but service is extremely slow. Popcorn was stale and super salty and they put butter on it when I didn’t ask for butter.
It was a different experience as went for the Panaromic view. Could have been better if it was on all the time instead of only for few scenes. Theater was good otherwise
The concession prices are way higher than what they used to be. We go to this theather all the time, because it's the closest to us, but it used to be better pre covid.
