Lots of stock in this store and have had some pleasant experiences and helpful staff before but tonight I made a return of dresses I bought from online (which were mostly online exclusives so can't try them on unless I buy them). Unfortunately, Michelle made my husband and I very uncomfortable and was unpleasant during the entire encounter. She must have been bothered and upset about the refund. I understand it's all sales sales sales and there's likely pressure from management but to be unkind, complaining about figures for the day, how much the refund is, etc. There's no need and customers don't need to hear it. I couldn't wait to run out of there. I'd rather shop online and deal with an uncomfortable return due to staff creating an uncomfortable situation once in a while, than shop there again and ask the same staff for assistance.

this store always has the most stock. But to be honest the staff are a challenge! They don’t offer to help you, and when you ask for assistance they get all fussy. Customer service doesn’t really exist here. I’ve never had this issue at any other city chic store. Even when you call the store asking for a specific item (and read the item code to them) they still manage to pull the wrong thing off the shelf and proceed to tell you you’re wrong. Consistently disappointing service.

Plus size women deserve a space to find cute clothes and feel empowered. I was so happy they moved to a bigger store. It is so bright and open. The styles are current and bright. Fat women need to feel empowered through clothing and I am so glad they have the platform to do so. Customer service is also excellent. Only thing I’d ask for is extended bra sizes.

I had a wonderful experience in city chic Watergardens a lovely laid out store, unbelievable customer service. Was able to get a perfect dress and accessories for a wedding, plus some wonderful mix and match for casual wear tips. Would highly recommend for the larger size person was made to feel so special.

Clothes are absolutely gorgeous, even though priced high , good quality and versatile. However staff leave a lot to be desired, store manager was rude , unhelpful and made me feel very uncomfortable, I just wanted to get out of the store and will not be returning to the water gardens store again

I had to buy a nice dress for a birthday i had coming up. I do not enjoy shopping. The lady (who i think may be the store owner), was so lovely and helpful. She didn't make me feel self concious at all. She has a great eye for sizing too!

Thank you to the amazing girls at City Chic- Watergardens today who went above and beyond helping me chose the perfect dress for my upcoming maternity shoot. I went away with not 1 but 2 dresses that i absolutely love ❤

Want to say a HUGE thank you to Hayley and Michelle for their incredible customer service today. They were lovely, enthusiastic and made the overall experience very positive. They were perfect, absolutely loved them.

The clothes are not just stylish but they last for years because the materials used are of great quality and the sizing makes you feel amazing coz a size 14 is an XS, 16 is a S, 18 is a M and so on. …
