Обязательное место к посещению, нсли есть немного свободного времени в Найроби. Попасть сюда не сложно автобусы останавливаются рядом, вход бесплатный. В парке много людей которые отдыхают и просто спят на солнышке. Главная причина посетить это место, конечно местные обитатели - обезьяны. Здесь они живут и свободно перемещаются по парку. За ними можно понаблюдать из далека или угостить чем-нибудь и привлечь внимание всех обезьян в округе. Местные советовали угощать орехами или бананами, купить их можно на рынке поблизости с парком. Стоит учитывать что вас попытаются надуть, при покупке 3 бананов изначально назвали сумму в 100 шилингов(~1$), но после торга цена упала до 30 шилингов. Место очень интересное и можно провести хоть весь день, наблюдая за играми обезьянок. Лучше места бюджетно провести время в столице Кении сложно придумать.

هي حديقة جيدة جدا جدا جدا وهي متنفس جيد للعوائل وأصطحاب الاطفال وهي في متوسط مدينة نيروبي ولا تبعد كثيرا عن كل مناطق نيروبي وتتميز بالأشجار المزهرة وجميع الالوان وبعض الأوقات تقام فيها العاب اطفال بالمناسبات العامة والأعياد وتكون جميلة جدا ايام مواسم الأمطار حيث تكون خضراء جدا جدا جدا . تكون قطعة جميلة من الإبداع الرباني والإنساني . الا انها مهملة شوي يحتاج لها بعض التطوير ببعض المرافق الخدمية كمطعم ومقهي وحمامات مركزية حديثة وبعض العاب الاطفال كي تكون مفتوحة و مشغولة طول الوقت لكن بالنسبة للقرود فقط اضافوا جمالا للحديقة انصح بزيارتها والتمتع بما فيها من مناظر جميلة

Depending on which entrance you come in, as well as your desired activity for the day, City Park has it all in close downtown Nairobi. My personal favorite is the monkey park portion of this park, which gives you the ample opportunity to feed and see monkeys. They are very friendly depending on which food you have. I recommend getting corn kernels. They are a lot calmer around it than bananas. I promise you won't forget this experience!

The park itself is okay. What I did not like was that the City County charges a high fee for use of the park by groups below 100 pax. A City County official walked up to us and informed us that we were required to pay KES 3,000 (US $30). We were less than 30 pax! I feel disappointed and let down by the City County government. If we charge for use of the park, even by a family, why call it a public park?

Interesting place - nice diverse flora - a lot to see and learn about plants. The "park" contains a cemetery, a memorial, a big vegetable market and plantations. It's not the typical kind of "city park", but a nice option to explore authentic Kenyan life for free. You also find nice spots to relax or have a picnic - just watch out for the monkeys that are all over ;)

Being a Kenyan I will tart by stating that this place is absolutely free to visit .There are alot of games to play ,places to chill , activities like face painting and not forget the monkeys everywhere .the monkeys are just the best part of the place .I would highly recommend the place I give is a four star because we can do more on the garbage everywhere

It is not the same as before.. the number of monkeys has gone down and not so many kids as before... Trees seem fewer and toilets extremely dirty,smelly and not managed... The ground are clean though and there are adequate affordable activities to occupy babies and nursery kids.. older ones may not enjoy this place.. so much needs to be done to improve

Good park in the city, with a bigger part can be called jungle. There is children's playing area, ground for playing & path for walking. Varieties of flowers, big trees & bushes ate present in the park. Be aware of the monkeys, they are not harmful unless you trouble them.

It is a public place, where someone can enjoy free cold breeze of Nairobi, unlike Uhuru park, City Park is full of green fresh trees, and monkeys are very friendly, whenever you pay a visit, carry something edible for monkeys, and you will enjoy their company

Well, City Park is a nice place to visit for fun and to spend your leisure time. There are all facilities and very playful monkeys that help you have fun to the fullest. If you have not been there before, make a point of paying a visit to the park.

Nice little park to relax, could be better maintained. Plastic and garbage everywhere. I really dont know what makes it so difficult to carry your trash with you. Kenya is a beautiful country. Value it and dont let it look like a garbage bin.

A park in a city centre... Dirty for European standards but very clean for Kenian. I don’t appreciate the quads and camels everywhere. On the other hand, I love the island in the middle and my favorite street food eggs and tomatoes

City park garden is actually lonely place, it's not that much of crowd, even local people also feel risky to go alone. If you are in group then you can visit. You can enjoy with kids.

I always go to city park whenever i want to see and play with the monkeys. Carry for them some bananas, maize & peanuts, they will all come running to you.
