Came in on Sat. before the Preds game.I gave 4 stars but the food is a mixed bag more like 3.5. I'll start with the positives. Nice atmosphere. 5 star service! We were a large party of 9. The server was great! He was timely on returning to check on us, always had our drinks filled and took our order promptly. 4 star apps! We had multiple appetizers. The pretzels--yummy, yummy, yummy and fresh baked! Hummus- nice nd fresh served with whole wheat pita. Brussel sprouts-- Delicious!! I should have just ate this for my meal! Elote street corn dip- I also could have just ate this for a meal. Very yummy! 3 star entrees- I was really let down with the taste of the entrees. Chicken Tandoori Kabobs- beautifully plated, small very dry dry dry flavorless chicken kabobs. Served with hummus and quinoa. My hummus was very cold, it would have melded better with the dish at room temp or even warm. Not enough quinoa salad. The pomegranates are a nice touch. Not worth $19.75. Nashville Hot Chicken and Waffles- Chicken and waffles were both cooked well, but there was no spice to the dish. If it says Nashville Hot it should be spicy! Cubano- wah, wah, wah (disappointing trumpet sound.) If you know what a cubano is dont eat this one. It was sad. Otherwise you may be ok ordering this. Flavors arent there, and they need to use a crusty bread. You want that crunch when you eat one! Others had pizza and burgers, I didnt ask how their food was so I cant comment on it. All in all a little disappointed in entree quality considering this is supposed to be a gastro pub. The entree prices dont align with the food quality. Stick to the appetizers.

If your looking for a nice place to eat in Nashville then look no further than City Tap. I’m extremely picky when I’m in Nashville visiting my daughter since I don’t see her often. If we try a new place and it’s no good it’s just a disappointment. Especially when there are so many options there! This time we went to City Tap. We had a wonderful meal prepared by chef Ian. I ordered the maple brined pork chop and my daughter just wanted some pizza. Both were extremely delicious and when I get back to Nashville I look forward to dining there again. Our waitress, Trinity, was very attentive to our table and kept our drinks refilled in perfect timing. We even had the opportunity to meet the manager, John. He was very attentive to customer service and the needs of his employees. I believe there are a lot of managers that could learn from him. Overall, our dining experience at City Tap was well worth the visit. The restaurant was in a nice area, had a good vibe, it was clean and the food was excellent! I’ll be back and I’m so looking forward to it! I rate it more than 5 stars. I could go on and on raving about everything I liked but I’ll end it here. Thanks for a great experience all around City Tap (John, Trinity and Ian) See you again soon!!

Had a last minute business dinner on Monday, 7 November. Great overall experience! Server was engaged, responsive and attentive! She recommended a great beer (Chicken Scratch Pilsner) and was always there when we needed her. The kitchen manager was also very attentive and stopped by our table to ensure the food met our expectations or if we needed anything. This type of personal touch and pride in their establishment was very refreshing. Great appetizer selection and we chose the corn hushpuppies as for the table which were amazing with a unique flavor and sauce. I had the Grilled Steak Chop Salad entree and the steak was cooked as I ordered it and very tender. Portion size was great. Ambience was great, bar was large and could accommodate a large group or smaller 2 or 4 top tables. A lot of TV's to watch Monday Night Football! Awesome beer selection and a surprisingly good bourbon selection. My colleague had the spicy shrimp tacos and really enjoyed. City Tap was a great little find and we all really enjoyed it! I'm in town once a month for business and will be stopping by again. Everyone made it a great experience!

I came here for a friends Bday brunch. Had 3 mimosas, and forgot my food a total of $44 plus a $10 tip from me. I called 30 minutes after i left, and was told that my food was already trashed and it's nothing she can do (as she laughed). So I made a trip there and asked if we can work something out because I had spent a lot of money there and really wanted my food. she smiled in my face and said "Im sure you are smarter than that, take it somewhere else, you have to leave". I showed her how much my tip was and why I cant have my chicken and waffle. She threatened to call the "cops" on me if I didnt leave while still smiling in my face. I'm more upset and bothered by the disrespect that was shown towards me. No meeting me half way or nothing. Her attitude was so nasty towars me. Customer service does not include being mean to anyone, No matter if they are right or wrong. You never disrespect a customer. All it took was "I'm sorry and with a nice tone". So this was my first experience here and will be the last. I have never been so disrespected....By a "Manager" at that. (Lady with short blue haircut) awful

Stopped in for Father's Day brunch. Go for the beer (good variety), the rest of the experience is not overwhelming but decent. Despite it being relatively slow, the wait staff was not very attentive. When they did check in they were kind and helpful. The best bite of the day were the 10 spice wings. Although my party had the Korean short rib taco (not a fan, flavor was pungent) and hush puppies (bland without the sauce on the side - crab and corn had my expectations high) appetizers. Entrees we had the breakfast quesadilla (extremely disappointing as there were only traces of meat most scrambled eggs), big chick ( decent- biscuit with sausage gravy, fried chicken, bacon and egg), chicken and waffles (my son enjoyed it) and lastly pizza (oven baked - average). Glad to cross it off our list but I don't see a return visit in my future.

Cassandra L was our waitress and she took great care of us throughout our visit. Friendly, personable and professional from start to finish, thanks Cass L. We started with the hummus for an appetizer and it was quite tasty. We were looking forward to the Short Rib Rice but it fell short of our expectations. We also had the Tap Burger which was very good and cooked perfectly to the medium temperature we requested. For dessert we enjoyed the Cookie Smash which is a hot chocolate chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream...nice! This joint has a great selection of beers. From the extensive list of brews we enjoyed the 3 following beers on tap: Yazoo Sue, Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale and MNB Kilt Lift. Each brew matched the description on the menu and all were very enjoyable. We're from out of state but Cass made us feel right at home.

I was a customer at City Tap Nashville on 10/20/2022. I ordered Seafood Linguine & a local beer which totaled $28.95. My beer was amazing & food was decent. Upon leaving I realized my card was charged 16 times totaling $460.20! I called my bank and was told it was not a bank error. I immediately returned to the restaurant & spoke with a manager that apologized & told me it’s not the restaurant fault & to return tomorrow once their credit cards are closed for the night. There was no meal compensation or gift cards offered. So basically I’m just out of $460.20 for a meal that cost less than $30. Customer service focus should always be going above & beyond for the customer especially in an instance of this magnitude. I am extremely disappointed with the way this situation was handled.

Verdict: 4 stars. Solid all around food and good beer selection. Stopped by for lunch on a Friday with my wife. We got seated pretty quickly and service was great throughout. We started off with the elote, which was honestly just okay and I don't recommend it. However, the fact that they had Weihenstephaner beer, which more than makes up for that. Wife got the GOAT pizza, which was surprisingly delicious, with a nice mixture of sweet and savory. I prefer mine with more sauce and meat, but if the crust on all their pizzas are this good, I'd definitely get try one next time we come by (and we probably will do). I got the lunch burger, which was cooked perfectly and was rather savory, with a side of fries (very crispy but under salted). Overall, the food, drinks, and atmosphere were good enough to entice us back again for a quick bite.

I’m pretty sure our server was new because she wasn’t very welcoming or confident, and she didn’t know anything about the Happy Hour (she didn’t know there WAS a Happy Hour, and she didn’t know which beer & wines were included. Spoiler alert- I was told only the Rosé was included after she checked). That aside, I dined in with my two very young children (they don’t have a printed kids menu) and our food was excellent. My kids split the Margherita pizza, and I had the Rigatoni Roma. The pizza had discs of fresh mozzarella, typical of Margherita style pizza, and basil leaves on it, and my kids gobbled the entire pizza up. I snuck a bite and it was very tasty. My rigatoni dish was delicious. The sausage was crumbly and the peppers really added a nice touch to this dish. We will definitely return based on the food alone!

City Tap House has a big menu with lots to choose from. Ordered the fried mushrooms and didn't know until they came out that their fried mushrooms are industrial and are not homemade. The shrimp and grits are way too rich. They need to come up with a lighter version. Their pizza is very good. Thin crust and not soggy like a lot of other places. The service was awesome. Very attentive even though she was fairly new she did a rocking job. This is a great place for a big sports party. Wear your favorite jersey and support your team. The barstools are not the most comfortable to sit in. The booths are better because they have cushion. Plenty of craft beers from all over the place. If you're a beer conosurer you'll love what they offer.

went there this morning , beautiful atmosphere. the only problem was we got completely taken advantage of. i have never wrote a bad review in my life , but after this is seems right. ordered 14oz beers from the bartender 3 separate times, and was completely confused when we got the bill and it was $40. i have no problem paying for what i order but the problem is she purposely charged us for all 20oz drink bc she knew we weren’t from around here and i’m sure wanted to see if we noticed. after we asked her what size she had been giving us she paused for a minute and stuttered bc she knew we caught on. she heard us clearly say 14oz bc she repeated it back as well, this is so not right !! if you go here make sure you double check your bills:(((

Since it won't allow me to respond directly to reviews, This is an attempt to respond to the most recent review of our establishment regarding our "EVERYONE IS WELCOME" sign behind our bar. Here at City Tap House it is bread into our culture that we will not discriminate or tolerate any discrimination against ANY person or persons who walks through our doors. This statement not only pertains to our guests, but also our team and families. It is not only my job to create a professional and safe environment for my team and guests, but also a very personal and firm choice as a Christian and a leader. With that being said, if you choose not to dine here because we would rather spread love than hate, we would also prefer that you dine elsewhere.

You should totally visit City TapHouse Nashville. You should ask for Danny because he provides the best service I've had in ages. You should definitely peruse the ENTIRE extensive beer menu because my goodness they have excellent beer. Oh, and you should probably order dessert even though you'll be full from the delicious food and the copious amount of beer you'll consume. You shouldn't be afraid to try something new: I recommend the Lil Darlin wheat beer. So good. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and they play music that isn't 100% country (nice mix of classic rock, 80's, etc). I would have given five stars, but I try to reserve those for out of body experiences. Thanks for a great time!

  • Aundrea M

Food is great but front of house management is horrible. We had a party of 12, I am assuming it was the manager at the host stand and she would not let us all sit together because we weren’t all on one check. We could literally sit right next to each other at round tables but could not sit together. The manager was rude, she wasn’t willing to accommodate her guests and to top it all off.... there were two other tables in the entire restaurant. When we stated that there was no other tables taken in the restaurant she stated they had a lot of “reservations” - yet if we were on one check those reservations wouldn’t have mattered and we could have sat all together. Poor poor customer service.

  • April Sheppard

The only reason I gave 1 star was because our server, Britton, was amazing and was doing everything he could to make us comfortable. There was no AC in the building and with the outside temp being close to 100, it felt like 85 degrees in the building. The only thing I was comfortable eating or drinking was water because it was so hot. Even when I went to the bar, I was ignored by the bartender despite her making eye contact and walking past me multiple times. I was very disappointed because I had heard good things from co-workers, but for me, this will be a one-time only visit.

Don't Order the Pork Chop. The whiskey selection is extensive. There is an ample wine list. And some creative house cocktails. There are a number of choices for entrees. I made the mistake of ordering the pork chop. The serving was large and looked appetizing, but stopped there. The sauce it was served on, I was expecting to be sweet. It was not. I was expecting it to be tender and juicy. It required a steak knife and the cut was dry. But worst of all was the salt. I don't know if it was cured in salt or what but it permeated the entire cut, ruining any other flavor that might have been there. Would not recommend it.

Loved this place! Waitress was great. I ordered a pizza pie that was very good... it's a nice starter. As my main dish, I ordered chicken and waffles.. chicken had really nice seasoning, and waffles had a nice vanilla taste. Waffles came with a spices jelly on the side and whipped thyme butter also on the side...the butter is apparently a secret recipe. I inquired about the ingredients, and she wouldn't give up the secrets...lol. I highly recommend this place ... I would have eaten there twice if I knew the food was as good as it was. I will make a return visit to this restaurant next time I'm in nashville

Only place that took last minute brunch reservations, so ended up checking it out. Location - Just a couple blocks away from Broadway St walking distance. Venue - Very nice large space, clean, kinda sad the rooftop was closed for brunch. Food - Good tasting food was able to taste a couple different options. Fresh but some of the items could have used a bit of more flavor to them. Service - Very nice staff and helpful. Prices - Fair prices for the portions received. Drinks - Had a beermosa that was pretty good but a bit overpriced for the size and for what it was. Overall cool spot worth checking out.

Now this place will stay in my memories! I have been craving the crispy brussel sprouts since the first night we ordered them. Then we returned the next night for some more. I rarely give five star reviews but this was one of those places that everything we tried blew away our expectations. The pizzas were seriously amazing and the service was friendly. There was not a wait either visit but due to it's vicinity to the Bridgestone Arena I can see it going from slow to crazy in a matter of minutes after a Preds game. I wish we had one of these in Knoxville. I would go broke eating here!

  • Cameron Haack

I was at the City Tap the night the rooftop bar opened with the Xavier Musketeers during the NCAA tournament. Excellent spot to meet with friends, co-workers or fellow sports fans! There is a parking garage connected to it which is super convenient and the food was excellent! I recommend the pork nachos, although everything I ordered over the 4 days we were in town was incredible. The beer selection on tap is huge. Lots of TV screens made it easy to keep up with all the action going on in the tournament. Next time we come to nashville we definitely be hitting the Tap! #GOX

We went last night. Not busy at all and servers were too busy chatting to each other to provide service. Our server never even asked if we would like drinks. She also served my pizza without a plate to eat it on. I ordered the margherita pizza. Any, and I mean any brand of frozen pizza would have been better. No flavor whatsoever in any of the ingredients. My friend had a burger and gave it a 6 of 10 review! The only reason I did not give one star is the hot Nashville cauliflower appetizer was decent. They need a new manager or spend some time training.

Great atmosphere, but one bartender on a busy Saturday? We left after we waited way too long for drinks. Sitting at the bar and couldn’t get a drink. People were walking up to the bar to get a drink because they got tired of waiting. Cancel our food order and left a $20 tip to the bartender since she was doing everything by herself. Walked down the street, walked into a restaurant and was eating and drinking in 10 minutes. Too many choices and options to waste time at this place!

Loved dining in this restaurant. The attention from the staff is very professional and welcoming without being overbearing. The atmosphere and layout are open and relaxed with warm tones, accompanied by lovely decor. Finally, the food was amazing! The steak was extremely flavorful and juicy, the chicken and waffle was perfectly crispy and moist and the beer and whiskey/bourbon list has a lot of great choices. Highly recommended if you're in the Downtown Nashville area. Also, the goo goo cookie dessert with gelato is to die for!!!!!

  • Margo Sutherland

Great margaritas! Food ok. Really think they need to put pizza toppings or at least the sauce or a drizzle of olive oil to the edge of the dough. We had the fig prosciutto pizza. It had nice flavour but was dry. We asked for a little marinara to dip the crusts. Noticed people all around us leaving their crusts too — this is clearly a sign something needs improvement. Had the arugula and apple salad - good, and the garden salad. - over dressed. The tomato bisque could have been good but was so salty no one could eat it.

  • Jonathan Kevin

Great food with mediocre service. I visited for dinner with a group of friends and the service was just not up to par when compared to the other dining options in Nashville. Very lengthy delays to order drinks. Regarding food, I ordered the short rib fried rice and my friends ordered the margarita pizza. These two dishes were extremely salty although the flavor was good. We also ordered the pork nachos, turkey club sandwich and street corn dip and they were delicious! In addition, the atmosphere and music is great.

  • Katie Dougherty

Super disappointed! Sat at the bar for lunch, order them myself they were extremely overcooked. I had to ask the bartender for silverware and flag him down for a beer when there is for the people at the bar. I don’t wanna see you on your cell phone texting with your back to your guests. When you gave us menus he didn’t say hi or greet us just tossed them down and walked away and I had to tell him what beer I wanted as he walked away.

Hands down the best food we ate during our entire trip! From the wings to the Cubano, pizza and beer selection. Super satisfied with the staff, how fast the food came out. Went here for the first time March 21st. I got the 10 spice wings which were absolutely delicious! It was a combinations of seasonings that my tastebud wasn’t used too but very much so enjoyed! I also got the street corn which was as extremely flavorful but the texture was disappointing. The corn was over cooked. The fact that it was still delicious, although it was over cooked, was a testament to the skills going on in that kitchen. I will definitely give this place a second chance. I’ll be back!

I came for breakfast, there are multiple options but I decided for the Avocado Toast. It comes with potatoes. The potato’s were good, but the avocado spread on the toast was not very good. It comes with 2 thin slices of bacon, and an egg on top made your way. Wasn’t pleased with this plate. However the waitress was very nice, and the atmosphere is really laid back compared to a lot of places here in Nashville.

For brunch I would definitely suggest saving your money and going somewhere else. Pricey and quality wasn't great, but somewhat typical of the downtown area. We had the crab Benedict and the brewer's breakfast. Eggs were cooked right and the bacon was a good cut. We also got a bloody Mary but it was horrible - someone asked if we got a mimosa it was so light. All of that came close to $50. Much better places with more atmosphere I'd rather spend my money at. Mediocre.

Hello slightly off the beaten path with an amazing tap selection, friendly fly service, delicious entrees....yes, go here once you're tire of the unreasonably loud and less inviting places in Nashville. The hostess, the waitress, the bartender, and the manager all came by and greeted us with traditional hospitality. Leigh, my pourologist, was great. She matched my palette w my meal w the perfect pour....all w a giant smile and enthusiasm of a true beer lover.

  • Erastos Evdoxiadis

Went there for a company dinner and the roof was reserved for us. Excluding the heat due to the weather, the place was fantastic, especially when the sun started to go down. The food served there, due to the dozens of people in attendance, was light buffet style and it was very good, with very many choices and was great quality. The drinks were great and the staff was very friendly. I definitely recommend checking this place out. It is among the skyscrapers.

Wife and I stopped in for a on Sunday 3 Sept. We initially ordered a and started looking for a place to eat lunch. Just hosted a team dinner here on Monday night and had a great experience! Our event planner Brynn was fabulous from the start in helping with the logistics and planning of the evening. The restaurant had some last minute, unexpected staffing issues but nonetheless went above and beyond to provide us with EXTRA food and a beautiful, private rooftop spot all free of charge. The food was delicious and the setting was perfect for our event!

Looking for breakfast? Walk on past the line at pancake pantry. City Tap offers a top notch breakfast with lots of interesting options beyond basic breakfast. Christina, our server, was awesome! We went there looking for gluten free food and I was disappointed because I couldn’t eat the fries (no dedicated fryer) but she went above and beyond to make up for it. She recommended the corn dip appetizer, which was delicious! The burger on a gluten-free bun was also very good. At the end of the meal, she surprised us with ice cream for our anniversary. Good food. Great service.

Pleasantly surprised to find a nearly empty location around brunch time. I've lived in the area for 8 years and I expected everywhere to be annoyingly crowded. I think it's because they only recently started opening earlier. We enjoyed everything about our visit! I had the frittata and my dad had the Nashville chicken and waffles.

Service was awful. We were seated and our server swung by and said she'd be right back. 10 minutes later and we still hadn't seen her. We finally put our orders in, food took forever. We were one of 3 tables of people in there. She dropped off the food and never returned to check on us/refills. Food was good quality. Salmon was fresh and tasty. The sandwich bread was dense and tasteless. The salad was very good.

Came into town for a visit, the only place that was open for real food after 8pm! Lovely atmosphere, full bar. Being vegetarian it’s hard to find food but the homemade veggie burger was DELICIOUS! Get some of their honey mustard on the side to dip in. Young guy waiter- personable and talkative which made the experience better. Bar was to accommodate weird drink requests. Food was fast. Soft pretzels were yummy!

We hosted our annual company awards dinner here, and I can not say enough positive things! The staff was incredibly helpful, the space was perfect and the location could not have been better. I have never seen a more efficiently run location, with the most gracious staff, as I have with this place. Doesn't hurt that the food is also delicious! I cannot recommend this place enough! Especially for large groups!

Stopped in on a busy Saturday night for some dinner on a whim. Was decently busy, but they were still able to find us a table. We had the Abe Froman pizza and city tap chop salad. The salad was amazing. Very well balanced. The pizza was just okay. The cheese and toppings kind of slid off the dough. But it wasn’t the worst pizza I have had. Service was amazing and very friendly.

This restaurant used to be our favorite brunch spot. Bottomless mimosas and breakfast quesadillas that were SO good. I really enjoyed this place. We stayed at the Hyatt right across the street and came in for drinks. I liked the menu (they had vegetarian options) so we ended up getting dinner here too. The spinach dip was delicious. I enjoyed my veggie burger, and my parents shared a flatbread that looked delicious too. Nice atmosphere and service. Would definitely come back here next time we're in town.

We stopped by with a large family party. They seemed under staffed as everything (from ordering beverages to getting any food) took FOREVER. The food was cold, the expansive beer menu has more kicked kegs than rubbing taps, three orders were incorrect and the server said “due to my fight with the cook they can’t be fixed.” There are many better restaurants in Nashville. Skip this one.

  • Don

Great staff and really great burgers. We stopped in a few times during our 4 days in Nashville. Monica, Kayla and Bailey all helped us and we're all great. I had a bacon cheese burger with a fried egg on top. It was awesome. This is a great place to meet your friends because it's away from the craziness of Broadway and you can get a seat at the bar and have some drinks before dinner.

The waiter was very slow getting to the table - nearly 10 minutes and that was after we asked a host. We had to ask for a beer menu, which seemed odd, since beer is a big attraction here. Nice selection of beers though and able to create your own flight. The pulled pork nachos were hardy and flavorful. Dinner salads were large, had abundant ingredients and were filling.

Stopped in for a pre-game meal before the USA-Canada soccer game, and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. A plentiful selection of beer combined with a great menu, of which we went with the shrimp tacos and four fathers pizza, made for a great dinner outing! Bonus shout to the bartender Michaela (sp?), she was fantastic! Strong recommend to stop in for anyone in town.

  • Jourdan Dible

Eat here. You will not be disappointed. They have a high quality burger. Paired with a local brew you cannot go wrong. They have a wide selection of beers, ciders, hard kombuchas, and even a few NA beers. Everything was hot and fresh.Their fries are excellent. I put the sauce on the side. Best burger I’ve had in a restaurant in a long while. Highly recommend.

We went there for Nashville Burger Week and had their Prime Burger which was a very tasty well-crafted burger and awesome hand-cut fries. As we weren't too hungry when we went in we didn't order any of the appetizers which all sounded very good. The wait staff was super friendly and attentive and the atmosphere at the restaurant was very warm and welcoming.

  • Jess H.

We waited over an hour for our meals which were never delivered. Four tables that came in after us were served their meals. We ultimately had to cancel our order and received no apology from our waiter whatsoever. We paid for our drinks and left. Would not recommend, to say the least. There are better restaurants nearby with better service.

Had a nice meal here. Was super busy but we were seated quickly. Felt sorry for the staff. So many people and only a couple servers. The hush puppies were yummy as was the curried chicken. Pita bread was stale. Lovely atmosphere. Will definitely try it again.

The tomato soup was so rich and too thick. The burger and fries tasted great. One of us got the Poke bowl.. it was lacking - it only had the greens, raw Tuna, and Avocado. For 20.00 it needed more toppings.. it was boring. Thr place looked clean and nice.

I had the classic margherita pizza. This was ok. Had the pizza been cooked and served hot, it may have been better. The look of it was perfect. Just the execution was so so. We had Autumn as a server, and she was amazing.

Extensive beer list. Many choices of craft brews. Joshua was an excellent server with great suggestions. The shrimp tacos are a hit. The rice and beans are not typical bland side items but are served in a single bowl with the perfect spices. Delicious.

This just became a local favorite of mine! Our server Maisy was wonderful and super attentive. The vibe is relaxed. The food is delicious! We had the hot cauliflower, it was excellent. The pretzels and pimento cheese was really good. The street corn was delicious. And the Cubano sandwich was unmatched! Well done. Be back soon!

We had a large group for lunch w/no reservation made in advance. They handled our order and food within a reasonable amount of time. Loved the atmostphere and expect this would be a great place to go for fun and dinner with friends. Food was good and lunch prices were very reasonable for serving portions. Will go back.

Popped in for an early dinner before a Ryman show. Very impressed with the food and service. Had steak frites and shrimp and grits, both entrees delicious. Saw a ton of other menu items that looked awesome. We will definitely be back. Great beer selection and the only place we've seen tropicalia outside of Georgia!

  • Linda Schilling

Had dinner at City Tap House tonight. Enjoyed the upscale sports bar atmosphere. Service was great and food was delicious! The cheesesteak egg rolls were awesome. The goo goo cluster dessert was phenomenal and big enough to share. Great place for Predator and Titan fans to gather before, during and after the games!

  • Elissa M

Food & drinks were good. The service, while friendly, it was non-existent. We sat towards the end of the bar due to front not cleared from previous customers. It was not crowded as after the lunch crowd. However, the bartender was more concerned about nail advice from her friends vs. checking on paying customers.

Love the Buffalo cauliflower and Brussel sprouts. Cuban is great and pizzas are good. Try the G.O.A.T. pizza it's interesting but very good. STAY AWAY from the chicken and waffles.... not good

Holy smokes!!! Their food is AMAZING!!! The wings are so good and the dessert is heavenly. For a new restaurant they are very well streamlined and the staff has the best energy. This is my new favorite place! I'm not a big drinker, but they have something like 50 beers on tap if you're into that sort of thing.

My husband had their hamburger, which he said was excellent. It was a bit pricey at $18. I had the Italian deli salad with grilled chicken breast, and it is one of the best salads I have had, and that is saying something!

I have a fantastic grill at home and cook lots of steaks and use Mesquite and other woods to flavor. I have eaten at the best Prime Steak restaurants and never had a better steak than what I had at City Tap. I ordered the Blue Cheese Crusted Filet. Not a prime steak but it was the best I have ever had.

  • Jennifer Dixon

We stopped by fairly late in the evening, so didn't order a full meal. We had the bourbon pecan pie, key lime pie and baked pretzel with pimento cheese sauce. It was all incrediblly delicious. They also had a good craft beer selection which is why we went there in the first place. I highly recommend.

03/18/23 Food is always on point. That I would give 5 stars. However, the guy bartender was stand offish and ignored us most of the time. We had to ask for drinks several times and he never cleared our plates or empty glasses. I would understand if they were busy. However the bar wasn't busy at all.

Some of the best service I had my entire time in nashville. The food was quick, warm and delicious. I have absolutely no complaints. We did make reservations so keep that in mind when trying to get in during night time. Walkable distance from the bars on broadway! Must try the street corn appetizer!

  • Christina Balbin

AMAZING FOOD and even better staff! Kayla B was our waitress and KILLED IT! She made our bachelorette party kickoff with a bang with complimentary champagne and super attentive fun service. Oh, and you have to try the Brussel sprouts! Definitely coming back next time we’re in Nashville. 10/10

Had the pleasant surprise of trying this place recently. Ordered the turkey club with avocado and sprouts and it was absolutely delicious...fresh and the flavors were excellent. If all their food is on the same level as a turkey club...you won't be disappointed!

My husband and I had a delicious brunch here one Saturday, drinks were bogo so you can’t beat that and our crab Benedict with crispy potatoes was Delicious! Great service and nice atmosphere. Only downside is no parking, had to park in a garage and it cost $10.

The food was good, the service from Josh, excellent, and the place is fantastic because it doesn't have the crowds of Broadway, plus a great beer menu.

Great beer selection of beers on tap and in bottles/cans plus ciders, seltzers, etc. Wyatt, our server, was excellent with suggestions and speed to serve. Never went dry. Our group tried several appetizers. Corn dip and cauliflower wings were well received.

  • Ryan Fuller

not BAD, but not the best. had food that had flavors i’ve never tasted before. still not sure how to feel about it all lol. if you like trying new stuff, i highly recommend the chicken kabobs. however, i wouldn’t say it’s worth the price it is to dine here.

This used to be our go to spot for brunch but I’m giving 1 star less because there’s no bottomless mimosas and there was only 1 bartender working so drinks took 15 mins. Bring back bottomless mimosas! The new brunch drink special is $48 for only 1 bottle.

This place is fun and has great food and a great beer selection. Be ready to be patient. It's understandably popular and at times gets overwhelmed. We've had some pretty significant waits but keep coming back because ultimately it's a good experience.

  • Scott Buckman

The only reason for 3 stars is because our server, Cooper, was wonderful. The food was very average overall. I've never had pimento cheese I didn't like before, so that was a first. Very generic bar and grill in a city with so many unique offerings.

  • Connor Mccormick

Not only was a service horrible and our waitress was rude but my waitress put a 1 next to her 30 dollar tip and now I have to dispute it with my bank. This place is horrible please don’t go there if you like good food, good service or decency.

  • Holly Fischer

Food is good, service is hit or miss (depending on if its slammed or not). I have mixed feelings since I've been a few times - first time great, second time average. Worth trying for sure!

We just had lunch at the City Tap House and had a fantastic experience. Alice our waitress was excellent. She said the beer taps were turning over, so she brought us two tasters to try…she nailed it. The food was excellent. Highly recommend

Atmosphere has potential. Staff is short, and lost. Food was cold, after over an hour wait. Drinks took 20minutes of waiting in line multiple times. And it wasn't even super busy. 10/10 will NOT be back until they fix their issues.

  • Savannah Ethridge

Even though it was busy with football fans, our waitress was quick and attentive. She was also super sweet. We both got their signature burger and it was fantastic! One of my all time favorite burgers. Would definitely recommend!

Great selection of beers. It's not a place to watch sports because the main TV is 4 small tvs combined to make 1 large screen. It's hard to focus on the main local game playing.

I loved this place! The decor is very nice and it has a laid back vibe. It's located just two blocks off of Broadway. Our server was very friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and I loved the presentation.

Great food, but watch your receipt! After the bill arrived, was told that $12 flights were only applicable if you selected the four beers from the featured brewery. Any other selections will be a $15+ flight.

Cool menu, Good Food, Great Service, lots of beer choices! Really loud atmosphere and typical for Nashville its overpriced. It would be nice if the chef knew the difference between medium rare and well done.

  • Jamey Bierzynski

Probably our favorite place in Nashville, we're from Buffalo, so we fit right in. Bartenders, brothers are fantastic!! It was my Birthday, and they made it a great time!! We'll be there again, Go Bills!!!!

  • Gregory Barrett

Had lunch here. I agree with a lot of the comments that the service was spotty as our waitstaff tended to disappear. The chicken club with avocado was very good. The beef in the French dip was overcooked.
