I went here for dinner and dancing with my husband , we had high hopes because of the reviews and we were excited to eat Cuban food with him being Cuban and us having grown up in Miami around Cuban culture our whole lives. We were ready for a taste of home. The best part was the salsa lesson, quick little lesson and then music for us to enjoy and dance. The food had a great taste and was authentic but overpriced, we spent the whole night laughing at the fact that the food was so pricey, we had a Groupon so we weren't too concerned. We knew we had purchased more than the Groupon covered so we were expecting to pay at least $65 more, and then we got a bill of $127, for 1 entree, 4 drinks, and two appetizers ( which were two empanadas and 5 tostones). We were shocked. Coming from Miami, I have had expensive drinks but at places where price matches the venue. I paid $40 for two double shots! $40!! And they weren't even TRUE double shots, they REALLY skimp the alcohol on them, and the mixed drinks we had were pure mixer and ice almost NO alcohol. They also charged us $25 in added gratuity, which was NOT. 20% like the menu said it was more like 26% considering it was $94.50 before the tip. Service also sucked, and I mean BAD. Our waitress was nice and it's not her fault but for the amount of people they had, they needed more servers. When our appetizers came out, we had no napkins, I had to go up to the bar and get some, when we wanted our second round of drinks I had to go up to the bar and order them myself because our server had been with other tables for quite a while (pretty much serving everyone by herself, poor woman) If they are going to charge $25 (26%) in tip for service, they need to have the coverage so that your server can be attentive. This was honestly probably the worst night when you consider what we paid and what we got, I would give negative stars if I could.

If I could give zero Stars I would. After the bartender made me wait 10 minutes or more (with an empty bar and club on a Thursday night), and I am not even exaggerating how long, for two shots and a beer, he charged me $30. For two shots and a beer! He didn't even give me an itemized receipt. When I asked him for an itemized receipt, I could see him digging through different things on the screen and then looking back at the original receipt he gave me to make sure he was selectively picking things that would add up to $30. The itemized receipt was vague, it just said shots and a bottle of beer, not what kind they were. What I'm getting at is I think he purposefully overcharged me and ripped me off. And if he didn't, drinks are WAY OVERPRICED here. They have a taco bar (buffet, so nothing is fresh) that they charge $20 for. Who eats $20 worth of tacos period, let alone tacos that have been sitting there? I paid my tab, chugged my beer, and left. I will never ever ever ever EVER go back to this place. Don't waste your time.

My bf bought tickets to a show here this weekend. The tickets said it was 8pm-11:30pm and we stood waiting until I gave up at 11:35. I have no idea if the performance ever even happened. The sound system was so bad that words were unrecognizable. Also of note, do not go here if you are disabled. There is no place to sit down that won't cost you an additional hundred bucks on top of the ticket price for a show you'll probably never get to see. As someone who cannot stand long this made for a pretty miserable experience and the staff were not able to accommodate me in any way. Prices are hot garbage for drinks and they won't even give you a cup of water and make you buy bottles at a jacked up cost. Not only will I NEVER be back, I will tell absolutely anyone I meet to steer clear. Truly disappointing for a date night out.

It's a dance venue square peg trying to fit a concert hall round hole. Terrible layout. Terrible stage. No flow for people. Awkward fencing blocking off bar area from 'floor'. Retrofitted stage lights constantly shining in your eyes because the ceiling isn't a proper height. This place was never designed to host concerts, and the cheap minimal renovations they've done (jamming a stage on a dance floor, adding lights to the ceiling, putting up fencing to chop up the already small space) make this one of the worst places to see live music I've been to. I hope whoever is booking the metal shows from the former Studio Seven finds a better place soon.

$45 general cover fee $60 VIP cover fee My first time there last night and it was nothing like the website described. Salsa Night was more like Zumba Night. Everyone was lined up like a hoedown and following choreographed steps. Very disappointed. I was there to salsa... not line dance. Couldn't get to the bar due to poor layout and how everyone congregated along the sides. Overall just a horrible experience. Never again. Didn't bother getting a refund. Probably wouldn't have gotten one anyways. $45 was the cost of disappointment I suppose. Absolute waste of money and time.

Stopped in for the raw artists local art showcase and it didnt take long to realize the venue was a complete mess... Absolutely nowhere to sit maybe four tables in the whole building which had probably close to 600 people atleast and the onlyseating areas were blocked off . Also they were extremely understaffed I think there was only two bartenders serving the entire crowd (they actually did a good job for how bad of a situation they were in) it was so bad most of the people were ordering food from ubereats and going to their cars to eat and have a place to sit

I went for a concert, I liked the artist and enjoyed the music. It's cool that they were able to host the show. Also are waitresses was really nice. One thing missing is a dancing stage. The stage they have is suitable for the band and there is no space for people who want to dance. Another thing is that the bathrooms are on the far side passed that stage and they are hard to access when people are standing by the stage to listen to the music, pretty much all night. Lastly the cocktails were on the pricy side (17$ including 18% auto applied tip).

I had the experience to go to this club today August 21, 2021 to see a group from my country, and i had a blast, i had VIP tickets, but no table reserved, but the manager was very helpful and found me a table close to the stage and i was very satisfied, the waitress, bartender were awesome service and this won't be the last time that i will attend this club, thank you all of you for a great service.

Don't advertise your booths with dinner for events. Couldn't get a menu for my friends for the table. Stop serving way early. Tedious and barely accessible to order to begin with. Don't use that as a selling point; false advertising. If you're here for just music and a bar drink, you will be fine. Eat elsewhere. They also only have like 4 food options. Lol that's bar good not s dinner menu.

Club sur should be ashamed for charging $20 to get into a dead club with no people in it at 1030 pm on Friday night. But they are downright shady for fraudulently over-charging my card more than the agreed amount. Shame on this business for trying to make up for their empty club by charging me more and hoping I wouldn't notice.

I hosted an incredible night get-together at this club. I truly delighted in moving and drinking at this bar. The spot was so extraordinary, they had a major and open dance floor. The bouncers were so mindful after watching individuals who gone wild. The beverages that they had was so scrumptious and moderate too. Thank you kindly for a particularly awesome evening

Went for a Raw artist event. It was very cool. I had a friend showing her art. All the artist were very friendly and happy to talk about thier art. At the bar I ordered an IPA and fries. It was very tasty. That atmosphere was energetic. Service was laid back and chill. It was busy but the bar tenders took the time but they got the job done.

Cool venue.We held a benefit show there and used the stage- great lighting but sound was a poor. Food was alright- good options, lots of flavor, a little too salty and way over priced (though perfect rations!). Servers and service was great but they had a automatic gratuity of 17% which i wasn't expecting. I'd love to go back.

Club Sur failed grandisimo tonight. The traditional Peruvian Dance Show started 2 hrs late and 4 dances were all we got for $25 a person. Club Sur filled all the time with a DJ that played great music but way too loud. Club Sur should be ashamed of what they delivered tonight and consider reimbursing the entrance fee.

You can't come from a different state because they think your ID IS FAKE and they just kicked us out from the place when we were here one night before. The security checked our ID everything was fine but the bartender was rude and just kicked us out! Like were doing something illegal ! This was humiliating

I went for a friend’s art show but showed up early and had beer and apps. The atmosphere is comfortable and unassuming. The food was good and the restaurant side of the club is pretty low key. Once the music started up and we moved to the art show it was very hot, very crowded, and so loud!!

A huge thank you to the staff of Club Sur. During a show our friend had a medical incident and the security team helped us get her swiftly outside to wait for the EMTs and the Manager brought her cold waters and came to help. They were kind and professional in a crisis.

Small music venue. Parking is easy, venue is a little… intimate for concerts. They opened the doors about 30 minutes after the tickets said doors would open and seemed like getting in was clunky. Definitely going back to try the food when the restaurant side is open.

Parking lot was not full.so no problems with that. But cocktails.... I have ordered mochito... How you can spoil mochito?!? This guy's know it!! 99% of sugar syrup and 1% of rum. ice+sugar+peppermint+lime=CLUB SUR and it cost me....18$ I was upset …

The place is run by idiots. It took an hour and half for 2 empandas that never came and the bar tender never offered an apology or to comp anything I had to ask to get my money back. The only thing they are capable of here is taking the cap off a corona. Morons.

Went in and got seated in 1 of about 3 total open tables after they said "sit anywhere". Well, "sit anywhere" apparently didn't mean that because we were ordered not asked to sit at another table. Then we were ignored until we walked out. Will never return.

They have booze / beer. Not sure what the food menu is like. You know when the music is turned up so loud that the speakers are distorted and it sounds horrible? Yeah, they like to do that here quite a bit.

Been there for a concert of Ukrainian band “Boombox”. The event was nicely organized. Concert hall is great for about 250-300 people. We arrived on Uber and I’ve seen parking places around the building.

Terrible Service. Literally walked in, was seated by hostess in the front, very great spot. Then asked to move by manager to a tiny corner table in the back with no light. Grabbed our stuff and left.

Overcharged without an itemized receipt and automatic tip built-in. Waitress just shrugged and walked away when we told her when the base bill was clearly more than it should have been.

Every time I come here I leave happy. The food is so good!!! The Cubano is just a staple. You want good food in Seattle with a great atmosphere? Get to this place!!!! I visit weekly.

There's 2 dance floors, 2 bars, a stage and great side booths for snuggling up and taking in the view. There's some parking but the lot isn't huge but there's free street parking.

Great club! this was my first time here and i loved the atmosphere and feel. The food was a bit on the expensive side but otherwise it was a great experience

Went for a company holiday party. Food was quite good, venue is a little dark. Seems better for concerts than social parties but maybe I'm just getting old.

If you are from other state your ID is fake that what they said to us. So if you are visiting Seattle that not a place to visit really bad place
