I have been a customer to this liquor store and "sister stores" for many years now! There has been staff who come and go but they have always seemed to maintain great customer service, until I first encountered the older lady that days and sometimes nights, and I noticed her interactions with a customer in front of me she was smiling and being friendly, and then it was my turn and she went "straight faced" and robotically served me even though I was smiling and trying to be sweet, and this has happened many times. And then I met the store Manager, and she is even More unfriendly and even borderline rude... no smiling at anybody and rude to her staff, I firmly believe she shouldn't be in customer service. But I still give 4 stars because the assistant manager and 4 other staff I frequently encounter are sooo friendly and have on a regular basis made me smile or even made my day. Which is a HUGE deal to some of us, but even more so I go out of my way to be a regularhere.... I feel the need to also mention that their "sister stores" Co-op Cannabis and Co-op Grocery have AMAZING STAFF and treat you very well and both deserve TEN stars! And then there's Co-op gas... they should totally employ the Co-op liquor store manage, she would fit right in. They clearly hate life in general.

As a realtor, and investor in real estate, I frequently find myself in Forest Lawn. I'm always curious to see how 17th Ave, now named International Avenue, is transitioning. Currently, it seems to be transitioning quite nicely. I recently popped into the Co-op Liquor Store ... and as I arrived, I immediately thought to myself ... "How can these liquor stores looks so bad". It's pretty amazing really. // So many of these private liquor stores in Alberta ... and I suppose across our country ... just look shabby. They must be quite profitable ... to be able to compete and be so shabby. // There was a nice selection of beer, and choose some interesting IPA's. At the cash, somehow it was no surprise to me that the SKU did not work ... and the cashier had to excuse himself to run to the back ... for whatever. Being 2017 ... I didn't mind ... I just took my phone from my pocket and pretended to be busy doing important things. ;-) In the end ... 5/5 for selection of beer ... and 2/5 for shabbiness ... does that equal 3/5?

I went to this Co-Op liquor store Nov 18 bought 2 bottles. I was with my bf but I cashed my order ahead and went out. There was another guy behind me at cash. Then a girl and my bf, they both were given some promotion Italian coffee but not I or the guy behind me probably because we are people of colour. Kevin do you have an explanation on how you gift promotion items? How did I know? MY bf asked me where my cofffee was?

This store didn't carry what I was looking for even though their website said they did. Turns out Coop pays Google to lie by putting them first on searches. One of the clerks was kind enough to help with a few suggestions. I felt like I was in a scene from "A Miracle on 34th Street". Excellent customer service.

Pretty good selection. Coop brand hard liquor available here and it is pretty good value. There was only one person working last time I was in, but he was knowledgeable. I was buying stock to make a bunch of fairly obscure cocktails and he was able to offer substitutions that worked out well.

Absolutely horrible experience. There's a new "manager" at the store LITERALLY named Karen, and she's rude, curt, unhelpful, and just plain awful. It was like it was a hardship to ask her for suggestions on wine. HOW DARE I?! I used to love this store, and now I'm going to go somewhere else.

They are always happy to me and offered other deals. I was walking but have seen disability parking, it’s clean, organized and helps me with Absolute Vodka as to the deals. Doors open automatic so it’s easy for persons with disability. Keep up the great work

SARA reaffirmed two of my choices for white wines, and I must say, they are both stellar choices. (Btw, Sara, I don't have a dog or a boyfriend). I've always had luck with the wines I purchase here & always have a nice chat with the staff.

Like their beer and wine selection. But in the last several months they've stopped having deals on good wine. I miss whoever used to curating this before, it was amazing. It's still ok now just full price all the time for everything.

This liquor store is pretty great, fairly decent variety of wines, beers and what not. The staff is always pretty helpful and friendly. It's not the biggest liquor store in the city but it is very clean and well lit.

This is my neighbourhood store. It has great selection, continuing weekly sale items at good discounts. The staff are long time staff which speaks well for their management. They are always friendly and very helpful.

Place seemed really clean and staff really knowledgable. Went to see if they were hiring, they are not, but gave me an application to fill out anyway in case a spot opened up. Really friendly.

Mustache guy is super knowledgeable, good selection, lots of fun drinks, fancy gin, vodkas and moonshine, but I didn't look at much else. The coop beer is a good deal and variety

Co-op Liquor stores typically have a good selection of different hard liquors as well as a decent beer cooler. If you want a cheap beer Co-ops branded lager is a good choice.

A really cool selection of craft beers, and all the domestic beers you would expect. They're respecting all the covid procedures and being professional.

Sometimes will have good deals. Fairly good on some tastes other local breweries have to offer. Selection of wine is fairly decent. If you like wine.

Usual selection for Coop, wine and beer is all good. This location is dated compared to some others. The service was very good and helpful.
