DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME AT THIS ACCOMODATION! Managment does not care about it’s customers or their experience! I booked two nights at this accomodation and like others I initially found the condition of the accomodation quite worn out, not well maintained and still dirty with mould in shower seals and fan in bathroom completely full of dust. I ignored this however as I thought I am only there 2 days. Another inconvenience is on arrival one of the two elevators was having ‘planned maintenance’ as per the poster on the elevator, which was not informed before when booking my accomodation. This may seem like a minor complaint however if you are taking multiple luggage and belongings 5 times up and down between floors it gets frustrating when it is the only elevator and multiple others need to use it as well……would be nice if they took this into the price of the accomodation! (Also asked but they do not have any sort of carrier to take belongings in one go)… Now to the real drama! I confirmed with reception on my arrival on the first day that I would need to depart before their reception was open at 9am (2 days later) and checked where I was to return my swipe key when I leave. On my departure day, I began taking my belongings from my room on the 5th floor to the basement below ground level to my car. When returning to the elevator, my swipe key all of a sudden no longer worked! I ran up the staircase to the 5th floor only to find out I could no longer get into my apartment! This was so stressful as reception was not to be open until 9am and it was after 5am and I could not even access my apartment to get my mobile phone! To top it off there was NO emergency phone to use in the lobby to even call the after hours number outside the front door! Also it is a safety issue as I could not even leave the lobby as I was afraid to be stuck outside while it is still dark! Nothing anywhere to call anyone for help!!! I had to then wait around for someone to go past on their way to work to then beg them if I can borrow their phone or ask them to call on my behalf the after hours phone number. Next a lady comes down who obviously sleeps in the apartment and she accessed the office to swap my swipe card to one that works…..she told me to call reception later to complain which I did….the audacity of the first receptionist Mike to then say “most people have their phones on them” and “this has never happened before”! As if to blame me for leaving my phone in my apartment!!! My phone was charging while I packed my car ready to depart!!! Do I need to explain why my phone was in my apartment??! How about why did my swipe card suddenly stop working and there was no emergency procedures in place for a paying customer? CRAZY!!!!! Next, I called back a bit later to talk to a lady receptionist Yasmin who is absolutely lovely and she was doing the best she could with my situation. I complained to her about my experience and she told me she would talk to her manager and maybe her manager will call me back…. Hours later….NO call so I decided to call back…..The manager never talked to me but the receptionist told me that the manager has reviewed the CCTV footage and they saw I was distressed and they said they would ‘review for future installing a phone in the lobby”…..I said that doesn’t help what I went through and leaving late and getting stuck in hours of peak hour traffic!!! The receptionist then told me they would only be able to offer 20% off a future booking with them…….I couldn’t believe that was the offer!!! WHY WOULD I PAY ANY MORE MONEY TO YOUR ACCOMODATION!!!! So instead of you partially reimbursing me for my stressful experience, somehow you try and make MORE money from me Absolutely DISGUSTING!!!!! Next time definitely paying for better quality accomodation!!!! NEVER AGAIN!

I would like to firstly start by saying what a great job you do at deceiving your guests, the apartment we were offered looked nothing like what is advertised online. Well done! We arrived to book a car park only to have someone else parked in the spot so we had to go back to reception to be allocated another car park and then move the car. Pretty sure there is some sort of booking or allocation system to avoid this kind of thing in the first instance. We proceeded up to our floor only to be greeted by the most disgusting pungent smell of wet dog/mould as we exited the lifts and made our way to the room. Walking past cleaners standing in the hall gossiping and chatting away instead of doing what I assume is their job and cleaning the rooms. We opened the door to our room which was hot, closed up and stuffy with an even more disgusting smell of sewage coming from it. Walking down the hall and putting our items on the bed we noticed the air vent in the bedroom was popped out and on the floor, there were stains on the sheets and bedding and no fans or cooling in the room. We tried to turn the air conditioner on and after it finished making a god awful noise and kicked in it was the smell of mould and dust that was now filling the room. We couldn't open a window as they were all locked to enable some fresh air into the room. The couch and cushions were all stained and had a nasty smell about them as did the fridge which was not even cold. We went to take a shower and whilst I love a cool shower most of the time there was absolutely no hot water at all even after leaving the shower on hot for over five minutes. We also went to check out the pool, wow what a Petrie dish it was. There was mould scum all around the pool edge where the water had gone stale and the pump that should be on all the time was not on at all. The chairs were all broken or mouldy/dusty and there were bugs floating all over the surface of the water. Not something anyone should be swimming in for health and safety reasons. At was at this point we were fed up with the cleanliness and deception as this is not what we had paid for at all. We had to book elsewhere and we left the premises after only an hour of being there. We have taken several photos and videos of the state of the apartment and the facilities and will be sending these along with our experience to the ACC and the governing health department. Request for a refund and release of the security deposit was denied.

Do not waste your time and money! Upon our arrival on 31/08/23, my partner and I walked up three flights of stairs with all our luggage as the elevator was broken down. Supposedly it had not been broken down for long. After meeting some residents of the apartments in the car park, we found out it has in fact been breaking down for months and months already. We entered the room which had an off-putting smell and immediately noticed the living area air conditioning making constant noises. It was turned off and making noises. We then noticed a shower cap covering the smoke alarm in the living area, probably put there by a previous booking who were smoking in the apartment. I was disappointed no one had noticed and not taken it down before we arrived. We went on to check out the rooms. The couch in the loungeroom was filthy with stains on it. We refused to sit on it our whole stay because it looked so awful. The balcony floor was covered in spilt drinks. There were finger marks all over the cabinets in the bedroom, kitchen and hallway type area and even on light switches. Not just clear marks, they had brown and red in them. It made me feel sick. I then noticed a white lamp shade beside the bed that was mouldy. I also noticed the bathroom sink had not been wiped out properly because on the sink drain / plug, there was scum on it. This happens when toothpastes and products build up on it and only takes a simple little scrub with a cloth and product to remove. The shower head looked white with calcium build up. The air conditioning in the bedroom made noises while turned on. Majority of the walls had marks, even black scuff marks on them. This apartment was not to standard what so ever for a four-star rated place. I told reception all that I had found in our apartment and they came and wiped some areas over and replaced the lamp. I’ve written email complaints to the company as well as called and they have no time to hear me. Do not waste your time and money.

Its such a relief to walk in here and be greeted by friendly staff with no fuss and nonsense after dealing with the chaos that is RBH and the confusing stressful experience of trying to get cancer council accommodation( I think they only pretend things exist and they help patients with the money they raise) Its just perfect. Quiet, clean, easy. Outside noise is well blocked out. Pool area is relaxing. Everything is just straightforward and simple. Everything I could need is here. I will most definitely will be back here. Its just too stressful to deal with the cancer souncil lodge, skip the stress (it gives ya cancer ya know) and go straight to Code, they have good deals on Agoda. The price is already reasonable but the deals make it alot more affordable when you have t be down near the hospital. Yasmine is amazing. A friendly happy face makes a world of difference. Thank you. Lordy... where do i start... First impression the place LOOKED tidy but the shower was in desperate need of a clean, and a mop. The pot in the kitchen draw was dirty, kettle has sediment in the bottom of it, it smelt musty and mouldy, couch arm was broken and seat was like having a spring up your bum, the water from the shower sprayed all over the bathroom so that wehn you exited the shower it was incredibly slippery, the aircon stopped working and would heat up in the middle of the night which would leave you over heating at 3am, we went out to the pool area for a swim at 8pm and one of the key cards had stopped working leaving us outside for an hour WET then when we were able to contact the property manager they said someone was coming shortly to help us back into our room and it took them 45MIN while soaking wet to let us back into our room. Not worth the money just disgusting basically...

Awesome location, great views from the room, the room was spacious and very comfortable for the price. The apartment needed a total clean I suspect that its been sometime since the carpets, dusting, maintenance and furniture has attended to but for the price it wasn't too bad and the location was too good to pass up.

Do not stay here if you value your credit card information. For after hours check in they expect you to take a photo of your credit card and upload it to a random website before they let you get your proximity card, from a lockbox that has everyone else’s card as well. All while you wait on hold in the dark for half an hour. The rooms do not feel safe, there is a flimsy lock on the door and the noise of other occupants does not make for a pleasant night. My room came with a bonus of standing water on the floor of the kitchenette, presumably from a leaking dishwasher. Overall, find somewhere else to spend the night and do not give Code Apartments your money.

Do not recommend it. Unit and service in serious need of improvement. Firstly both AC`s did not work, only the fan function. Unacceptable in this humid client. Windows locked so can`t open them. Extractor fan in the shower doesn`t work so condensation build up making it unusable post-shower and mould build up. The shower flows over into the bathroom, flooding the whole bathroom floor (and with only one towel provided you have no means to dry it up). TV cabinet held together with a quick hack job, remote split in two. Couch armrest were smashed. Service wise only had 1 towel day one, and a ¼ of a used toilet roll left. DO NOT PAY TO STAY HERE. PS Heard other visitors complain about their AC`s as well and was clear there was no resolution for them.

We came over from New Zealand and stayed for 9 nights . We found reception very accommodating when we asked for our room to be serviced like getting extra pillows, clean towels etc. Most days we would catch the cleaners in the hallway and we would get tea bags, towels etc from them. When we asked to get our room vacuum he was in straight away. It definitely pays to ask if you need things for your room, it helps makes your stay more pleasant. It was great to have a washing machine and dryer and a clothes horse to use. After reading what other people have comment on here I’m really pleased our stay had no problems, everything was in our room ready for our stay and service was great.

Don’t waste your time with these apartments. They’re cheap and you really get what you pay for. They’ll photocopy your card for their $100 “security deposit” and will flat out refuse to release the funds so your bank can give you your unnecessary security deposit back even if you leave your apartment spotless. The receptionists (specifically the male receptionist) are rude and unpleasant to deal with. 11/10 would not stay at these shabby apartments again. I would like to add that they are located next door to a methadone clinic and you will also have the pleasure of dealing with the local wildlife (crackheads) every time you step foot on Jeays street.

Worst place I have stayed in my life. Don't even think about coming here. When I first got here and opened the toilet lid, it was not flushed. Meaning, the room hasn't even been cleaned. They probably made the bed and called it a day. And you would be lucky if you can even get your towels 2 times a week. And the whole place smells like mold. Broken stove, broken utensils, moldy smelly pots, disgusting looking kettle. I stayed here for 2 weeks and not a single time they have changed my bed sheets. Who knows they probably won't change anything for the next person. Don't waste your money, time or health.

Stayed in this accommodation overnight for work travel. Staff in the reception was good—she forgot to mention that one of the lifts is out of service and fire stairs can be used if the lift is busy. I’ve only figured this out myself. Room looks tidy but the smell is indescribable—had to leave the balcony door open for fresh air. Even the hallway smell was terrible. Location was close to work and has a couple of restaurants nearby. Did a late check in and was exhausted hence did not get the chance to ask for a room change. Will I come back here? No.

Booked thru a third party non refundable rate and got a great deal. It’s spacious and bright. Furnishings may need a refresh (the Ikea-esque furniture is chipped around the edges) but for such a reasonable price I really don’t have any complaints. The dramatic bad reviews crack me up. It’s modern looking. I think it’s been around for 10-20 years and with a sparse design, every imperfection is a bit more obvious. If you are paying low rates don’t expect the Ritz Carlton

Good morning. Today, I had to check out early, and there was no one available at the reception to return the $100 security deposit I provided during my check-in. I kindly request that you proceed with the refund of this amount, which is rightfully due to me, to my credit card. Additionally, I left a package from Amazon under my name. I earnestly ask that you store this package as a friend of mine will be picking it up in approximately 15 days. My name is Paula Stoll, and I was staying in room number 802. They are not returning my contact.

July 27 2023. One staff member made an unauthorised copy of my credit card on his personal mobile phone. Forced him to delete it in my presence. Luckily I noticed. Reported to the police. Surplus to this, staff were overall rude, unhelpful, and lacking genuine empathy. AVOID STAYING HERE if you can do so. Hotel is in a decent location. Cleanliness below standard. Amenities suitable but outdated.
