Preface: I was kind and understanding, and did not raise my voice at all in this whole situation. They were unprepared and late. Although they did communicate this in an acceptable time frame. Did not come with a big enough truck(due to someone stealing a converter from their regular truck). They had to rent a smaller truck than the regular one used. Therefore they would not make two trips to complete the move. Stating we did not accurately identify the amount/volume of items. Staff at the office, management, and movers from 08/03/21 were unprofessional. Management could be heard in the background making fun of how we handled the situation. They were incredibly rude when we called to correct the situation. Amy continued to talk over me in an attempt to shut me down. She was condescending, and rude. They made it seem like they gave a huge discount when they "only" charged an additional $130, for a small amount of items that could have been placed in a truck bed. A move that literally took 15 minutes to complete once the $130 was paid. I understand it was no ones fault, however as it was due to the company’s lack of available equipment, that cost (labor) should have been eaten by the company. They did not agree, and told us the $130 was owed due to the fact that I was ignorant about how hard the movers work(I don’t disagree, but still believe it was not our responsibility to pay for their equipment issues). The movers threw everything in the house. No organization or care was used at all. They did not reassemble furniture that they took apart to move. My disabled roommate was forced to put together furniture, and move things into the proper areas. The main room was incredibly difficult to walk in for this reason. When I paid for movers, I expected furniture be placed with care in the correct areas of the house. This was not the case. When this was brought up to management, they stated the house was too small, and that it was not their fault. Yet, there were rooms left completely empty. We ended up paying the $130, and dealing with them(for 15 minutes) as we had no other options. Movers from 08/05/21 were incredibly kind, and other than a woman who answers the phone, and Grant(assistant operations manager), they were the only professional and helpful team members we came in contact with. This company needs a huge overhaul, and a change in mentality. Their customers are not their priority. It is quite ironic how they ask how they can make your move stress free when the phone is answered. Especially considering they moved the last items on the day we had to move out. Do NOT recommend.

I've taken some time to write this because of the situation overall. We hired college hunks hauling junk and moving for our move. They came one day to load the trucks and a few days later to unload. We were originally told 4 guys would show up to the house to load. After a lot of miscommunication, 2 guys showed up. One gentleman in the truck organizing and loading, the other taking stuff outside. The one going in and out was disappointing. He moved very slowly but I also noticed he was constantly on his phone. He would be standing in front of the boxes texting then picking up a box a few minutes later.. I understand replying to a quick text but this was every time he came inside and he would just be standing there. Eventually another gentleman showed up and they knocked it out pretty quick. Longer than expected but we let it go. We had 2 trucks to unload so we let them know to just put boxes in the garage to save time and the larger pieces of furniture would need to come inside. During the consultation, we were told if they took it apart, they would put it back together. We had to repeatedly ask for the beds to be put back together. They put 2 together and claimed the other 2 were too hard to figure out even though they were standard metal bed frames. The same guy who was on his phone the first day returned and we noticed he would disappear. We caught him upstairs face timing people a couple times. He was taking personal calls through out the day while walking through the house. The previous owner of the house was still here and even made mention that the one gentleman "had his phone glued to his face". This was concerning in my opinion that someone I did not know was walking around my house on FaceTime. He also smarted off to my mother while she was asking questions about the process. This also slowed down the process and we ended up needing additional hours. Overall we were highly disappointed in lack of professionalism. Due to the lack of work ethic, we ended up paying for additional hours that in my opinion, were unnecessary. Had the gentleman not been on his phone, the whole process would have been faster. I did fill out their post move surgery with my concerns. No one from the company has ever contacted me regarding this situation.

They were quick and did my move in less time than the estimate said it would take. I was a bit nervous because they had a new hire (his literal first day and first job was my move) a part of my moving crew, but he's gotta get experience somehow. The experienced movers were very nice and helpful, though (didn't catch their names unfortunately). My biggest warning is to not pack valuables onto the truck. I am a music producer, and one of my boxes had my professional speakers, headphones, microphones, etc. in it. Once I was all moved in, I found that one of my speakers has a nick in them (does not affect the sound quality, just inconvenient) and my headphones broke (I have to replace these). They make you sign a few different papers upon moving, and one of the documents says they aren't liable for damaged property, which is dumb because they're the ones moving it. That's the only thing to be aware of. UPDATE: after calling them, a claim is being filed for my broken headphones. I will post more updates as they come. SECOND UPDATE: I was supposed to hear back from their claims department 3-5 business days after I called, but it's been closer to 2 weeks now. I called again, and they said they'll notify their claims department to reach out to me one more time. If they still don't, I have to call College Hunks again and ask for the Claims Department's number directly. This is a very slow and unnecessary process in my opinion. I should be able to get my claim filed and paid for within the first 3-5 business days of it being filed. THIRD UPDATE: The claims department is useless because they aren’t really trying to help you replace items that THEY broke. They said I was “changing the story” and that the fact that they aren't going to process the claim on my headphones breaking was essentially my fault because I gave more information about what happened. It makes no sense. DO NOT put valuable items on the truck if you're moving. Their workers that physically move things are nice, but the company ultimately does not actually care about helping with their customers needs.

The communication was not great between the College Hunks office personnel and the actual movers. I called 48 hours prior to move day stating I needed a couple of tv boxes, and I wanted to get clarity from the movers on a couple of other things. I was told the movers would call me shortly after. I never heard from them. I waited until the next day and called again. The woman I spoke with made a note stating I needed tv boxes. She also told me she would contact the movers and have them contact me directly. I still did not hear from them. The movers were supposed to arrive on move day (11/12/22) between 0830-0930. They also were supposed to call at least a half hour before they came. I did not hear from them until 1035. Once they called, I was told they had two other jobs before mine, and they would call again when they were on the way. That call came at 1131. They did not arrive to our house until 1213. Not only did they show up extremely late, but they also did not have many of the materials needed to cover furniture. So, we ended up having to go to the store and buy things we needed while they were loading our U-Haul. The movers thought they were moving us to another location. We only hired them to load our U-Haul, so there was another miscommunication between them and their office personnel. The only good thing I can speak of is they actually did a decent job loading the truck in a timely manner. Other than that, our trip was significantly delayed because of their tardiness. We had to postpone meeting with our property owner for final inspection twice because they did not show up on time. We ended up having to stop on our commute to Charlotte in Lexington instead of Knoxville because we were tired after that long day and did not want to be doing too much night driving. I say all of that to say this. Poor communication is why I would not suggest this company to anybody. We were extremely inconvenienced because of it.

When my son was hospitalized for 2 months with a rare autoimmune disorder we had to turn my office into a hospital room when he came home. My husband and I are both in our late 50s early 60s so there was no way we could move all of this equipment ourselves. I went on the look for movers that were not going to charge us an arm and a leg and could handle our large "behemoth" cabinet. After doing a Google search for "movers near me," the name "College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving" really stood out. I was apprehensive at first, but after talking to Phil I was very impressed. Of course, I called two other competitors, but by far College Hunks was not only a better price, but didn't have a large minimum hours required. For three days we worked trying to organize 20 years of stuff. We shredded a bunch of stuff and organized the rest. Their two guys showed up on time. They quickly moved the items that were staying here in the house, but were either upstairs or in the basement. Their guys wrapped each item in a "cling" wrap material which ensured the drawers and the cabinet doors stay closed while they moved the pieces. The really nice part about the wrap, was now I didn't have to worry about dust getting in and on my furniture while it was stored. It may take up to 6 months to a year before my son is able to take care of himself again and now thanks to College Hunks, I don't have to worry about my furniture no matter how long it's in storage. In less than two hours they had wrapped and moved all of our furniture to the appropriate places. We are incredibly happy with this company and when my son is finally better and can move back to his own apartment, we'll be calling them again to move everything back to my office. Thank you College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving... you were FANTASTIC!

I highly advise anyone looking for a moving company to not chose college hunks. College hunks came to my house and gave a quote-they gave me a great price number and sent a strong looking adult to give me the quote. It all went downhill from there. We had a crew made up of skinny high school age kids-incapable of moving heavy items. I chose a moving company for the sole purpose that my stuff was too heavy and I didn't want to ask others or myself to do it and expected professionals to be able to correctly move it for me. They struggled to move my items. They dropped and broke pieces of our old piano, broke my daughter’s bed that was made for her from her grandfather, put many dents in the wall and scratches on the floor due to the struggle they had with our items, and could not get our treadmill to the correct room-my wife and I had to do that ourselves. When you hire out for a job you expect to get workers that can do that job (college hunks are not that). We also were quoted incorrectly-it was double the price due to needing a second trip-and we rented a uhaul (my wife and I) the next day because we didn't get all our items. Such a misleading quote and process! This was 3 weeks ago and I have yet to hear back from anyone from the company. I paid the price and expected to have a conversation with management about how to help me with this injustice. No one answers my call or responds to my request to speak to them. This is such an immature business! Please look to a different company to help you move!! Is there a person that I can contact at college hunks who will help me with my issue? I see you say you are going to fix things internally, but I would appreciate if you could help me with my issues from the move. Thank you.

I was looking for a moving company to move us from our apartment to our house 30 min away from it. I saw all the great reviews and the quote I was given was very reasonable. Day of move everything was going well and the "guys" were nice and professional. We get to the house and that's where everything went down hill. My house is a new build and they were not careful at all with my walls. They put holes in my walls and they marked it up. After they left I went back to the apartment, they left so much behind!!! I told them I wanted EVERYTHING packed. I just had surgery on my foot and I ended up having to take 3 trips to get everything to my house! Then I get to unpacking. I don't know if they left a box in the truck, but all of my coach shoes are gone as well as all my military boots!!! I have to be in uniform this weekend but I can't because they lost my stuff!!!! Instead of removing drawers to our dressers, they taped them. So we I took the tape off, it took some of the paint off my furniture!! One of my lamps somehow got broken. And to top it all off...I forgot we had a wallet in one of the night stands that had about $500 worth of gift cards to various establishments, it's gone!!! One of the kids took that wallet I am extremely livid with this move!! My husband is deployed right now, I am still healing from my surgery, I SHOULD NOT have to deal with my stuff being lost, broken, and stolen!! We have moved all over the country with military movers and this is by far the worst move I have ever dealt with!!! And it was only a 30 min move!!! I do NOT recommend company if you don't want young college kids that don't know what they are doing.

If I could give zero stars I absolutely would! They say that they offer a stress free experience and it has been ANYTHING but that! When I first called, I was given a quote and pressured into putting down a $95 “refundable” payment to hold my reservation. I was told that it was a busy time and I needed to reserve a spot or they could not promise that they would be available. I was told that if I cancelled with in 3 days of my move, I would be refunded. I ended up cancelling my appt within a week of making it and about a month before the scheduled move. I waited for 2 weeks and no refund. I made a call and was told it can take 10 business days. 2 weeks later, still no refund. Spoke to customer service and was told that the Castleton franchise that I had made an appt with had closed. They contacted Travis (director of operations of that location and were unable to get ahold of him. I was then given the dispatcher’s number. I waited again for 3 more weeks, still nothing. Call customer service again and they give me Travis’ number. I call myself and after 2 rings I was sent to voicemail. At this point, understandably frustrated, I called the number I was give for Dylan (the dispatcher). Although I was given his personal number, which should not have happened, he quickly spoke with his admin staff and within minutes I finally have a refund pending! 2 MONTHS LATER! That is absolutely unacceptable. So thank you to Dylan, but otherwise, this has been a horrible experience!! I will never be considering their services again!

During the Move: I'll start with the good. My movers, Rashawn, Ivan, and Demetrio, were wonderful to work with. They turned my entire experience around. They moved quickly, were very careful with my items, and even made me laugh a few times through the experience. I was very happy with the move itself. Pre-Move: My experience before the move is why I will never book with College Hunks again. I have moved five times throughout the area but used other companies prior to now. I chose to go with College Hunks this time because their rates were the most affordable. But the days leading up, they were not responsive. I contacted them at least five different times asking for the costs associated with packaging materials. Every time, I was directed to a corporate call center as opposed to my actual franchise owner. I was informed that they do not let you contact the actual franchise. Supposedly, the call representatives notified the owner each time, and it wasn't until the afternoon the day before my move that I finally received a text from someone explaining the general costs. When I followed up with another question, I received no response. For a company whose tagline is about making sure their clients have a stress-free day, it was disappointing to learn that you don't stand by your values. Please work harder to take care of your customers before their move. Not only do they deserve better, your actual movers deserve it too.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I’ve used College Hunks to move several items from our school to storage and vice versa a couple of times and had no issue. This last move we moved an entire school from one building to a new one and had several issues. The majority of the movers did an ok job with several reminders not drag items along the floor. They broke a couple desk and tables. Scratched walls and the floor but the biggest issue is we had several devices stolen. We noticed them missing the very next day and I contacted the lead mover along with College Hunks. We are pretty certain we know which two movers are involved with the devices now missing being that they left mid move without telling the lead mover. I keep being told I will be contacted by the franchise owners office and have yet to hear from them. No one at customer service has been able to help and just keep saying they will send a message to the franchise owner. Moving forward I will use a legit moving company who does a better job of vetting their employees. As previous reviews said a lot of these employees are unprofessional HS age teens. To whomever sent the message below. I’ve called that number several times and it’s a call center who keeps saying they are sending the franchise owner a message and can’t directly connect me!

The only reason I'm giving two stars and not one is because of the people. The lady I spoke with to schedule an appointment was pure sunshine and the moving guys were great, they worked fast and were very professional. But... I had two appointments scheduled, one for removing some furniture for junking/donating, and another for moving. On the day of the junk hauling appointment, no one showed up. My estimated arrival time came and went and no one showed up and there was no phone call to let me know what was going on. I went online and requested an ETA but no one called. So I called the local office and they finally told me that they were running behind and would call me with a new ETA. I had to cancel since I had another appointment scheduled in the afternoon because I figured this would be done well before then. A week later was the appointment for moving. Again, no one showed up when I expected them. Had to call the local office to find out they were running late and would be here later in the morning. They didn't show up until 1:30, well after my appointment was supposed to be finished. For a company who promotes a 'stress free move', this was incredibly stressful and we could've been doing other things for this move instead of just waiting around for them to show up.

I had a move back in July, we had 5 young guys show up. All very nice kids, but I emphasize kids. They are college aged so we had to monitor everything they moved to ensure things didn't get damaged, which of course they did. I understand that is part of the risk of moving, but having to closely watch was an issue that day. No one was wearing any protective gear such as gloves, or back braces that you would see with any professional moving company. Poor guys didn't even bring water with them, so on this hot day I made sure to give them plenty of water. Overall, very scattered operation, I even had to help them move a couch from my basement that they couldn't maneuver around the stairs. Even though it got down there somehow, they were willing to give up on moving it up and just leave it there. I wouldn't let that happen, so I helped navigate it. Either way, wouldn't recommend. Pricing was decent and same with reviews that's why I booked them. And on top of all this, still waiting to hear back from management regarding if I can be reimbursed for damaged furniture. They were quick to book me, but not as quick to respond to my damage claims I would recommend using a more professional company, even if it costs more!

Schedule a move and the planner stated I needed to hold the truck for $95. I said, I’m not sure if anything will change with the move. We scheduled this on a Sunday afternoon and she stated no worries - you can cancel anytime; if something changes. At NO TIME was I given a 72 hour cancellation policy- when I canceled and stated I would need to reschedule at a later date NO MENTION of a 72 hr cancel or no refund. HUNKS stated the 48 hrs I provided did not allow them to reschedule the truck and I asked for the truck that was assigned to my move and the workers; because I work in supply and demand and all they did was reschedule the individuals/truck. If I had canceled the morning of I could see an issue. Do not lie about why you kept the money and do NOT lie stating the $95 is refundable without stating there is a 72 hr cancel requirement. I would have NEVER scheduled with HUNKS if I couldn’t cancel within 24 hrs. Sad thing, I was going to use them; but my realtor asked me to wait to move things until the house sold for staging purposes. Very POOR customer service. Enjoy the $95 you missed out on $900-1200…doesn’t make sense to me!!!

Beware - I booked these movers three months prior and confirmed with them twice before our move. The day before our move I got a text from them confirming. They were booked to unload a truck at our new home. The day of the move, they didn't show and didn't return our repeated calls to them. The home office of College Hunks also tried to reach them to no avail. Completely unprofessional to not even get a call. So my 68-year old husband and I had to unload the truck ourselves. Then I had to call twice to get a refund of our deposit. This was not a positive experience. I will never use College Hunks again. UPDATE - the company posted below after I posted my original review, asking me to contact them about this. Really? They have all my contact information for the job for which they never showed up! They should be calling me, but they never called back after repeated requests when they were scheduled. And then I had to call twice to get a refund of my deposit. I understand that sometimes things happen, but how they handled this AFTER a no-show confirmed that their customer service is terrible.

I have moved many times over the past several years and these guys were the best. I hired them to load a truck I had rented for a cross country move. From the very beginning, I was impressed with the professionalism of Shelby at the in home estimate. Then on moving day, Colby, Mack, and Josh arrived and immediately began working. They were very friendly, fast, and seemed to enjoy their jobs. Colby knew I was being charged by the foot from the third party rental truck company so he worked extremely hard to packed things in high and tight to save me money. The guys were very positive and upbeat the whole time even though it was extremely hot and they were drenched with sweat. They managed to make the move at my beginning location stress free and almost relaxing due to their speed and positive nature. Thanks guys! I really appreciate your positive attitude and ability to help me relax with the stress of moving. I am planning to use College Hunks at the other end of my move for the unloading, as well.

Left high and dry. On the morning of our move from Indianapolis to Columbus, I did not receive a call during the allotted time slot that was scheduled. We rented a truck, our belongings were in boxes and we were waiting for the CHHJ movers. When I reached out, they informed me that they "did not have any available movers," and were going to have to cancel. It is unclear whether they would have reached out to even let us know. We were closing on our house that afternoon and we had already lost two hours waiting for CHHJ to arrive, so we had no choice but to pack up as much as we could into the truck and drive to Columbus to close on our house. We had to drive the truck back to Indianapolis later that night to pack up the rest of our belongings and back again to Columbus since we had movers scheduled for the morning. Needless to say, I will not be using College Hunks Hauling Junk in the future, since they left us high and dry. I would caution others from using their service as well.

I called on a busy Saturday and Alexander who was friendly, fun and extremely informative answered. They could have been at my door within an hour though I wasn’t prepared so accepted a later 2 hour window. The hunks kept me informed before and during my time frame of their ETA. Gaige and Chris P arrived promptly, gave me an excellent estimate of all I needed removed from my home and garage (A LOT of furniture). I accepted and they went right to work doing all lifting and moving. They were fun, friendly, respectful and eager to do the job with a smile. They even helped me move a few items in my home I was unable to do myself. From beginning to end College Hunks Hauling Junk delivered superior service I find rare these days. Thanks for reminding me there are still businesses who enjoy delivering A+++ service! Your awesome attitudes and customer service are an example many businesses could learn from.

I didn’t schedule the move because of how rude the rep ( Steve if I remember correctly) was so rude. He was great until the last step of securing the move. Now, I want to say that the move was a bit last minute ( about 2-3 weeks away) but I knew that would limit availability and Jack up the price. I told him before we started that I was getting prices from other places. So, he tried to get me to pay around $90 to reserve when I wasn’t ready to. When I said no to do more research, he decided to say how other places will not show up or that college hunks will give a better price ( I had called another place and they were cheaper by a few hundred). It was like he was trying to scare me into using them. All I have to say is fear is not a good sales pitch. I’m glad he showed his colors before I booked them.

DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS!! It was the worst moving experience I have ever had. First, they tried to cancel on me 15 minutes before my appointment. After a great deal of hassle, they rescheduled me for 6 hours later. The movers were very rough with my belongings. Brand new floors had just been installed in my home before move-in. One of the movers dragged heavy items (that should have been a two person carry, that's why College Hunks sent a two person moving team for the items I had) across my floor leaving gouges in my brand new flooring. They tried to tell me it's just "normal damage due to standard handling". I tried escalating the issue to the franchise manager who was extremely rude and disrespectful. Stay far far away from these movers!!

I had scheduled a junk removal 4 days prior to my desired pick up time and was given a two hour window. Of course, I scheduled this during a time I would be available. When my window time came and went, I called and had the company send two different ETA requests. Neither of which were responded to. I was never contacted by the company and I had to call 2 different times to try to and out what transpired. The last time I called to finally cancel as I couldn't wait any longer. In the age of technology and communication, you would think you could be informed regarding a scheduled service. Now I need to schedule my pickup with another provider.

Inexcusable lack of communication. Made appointment on a Saturday for Sunday 10:30-12:30. The customer service on the phone was great. What wasn't great is that not only did the crew never arrive, NO CREW WAS ASSIGNED TO THE JOB. No one for the customer service person I called Sunday (when they were 4 hours late) to check with for an ETA. Couldn't even get her manager to pick up the phone. This is my first experience with this company and it will also be the last. If Fire Dawgs is in your area, call them instead. They have yet to let me down. College Hunks is a waste of time. I'd give you a zero if I could.

At first I didn’t hear from the company at my designated time frame. I called the company and requested an update, unfortunately my phone was not working and they were not able to get a hold of me but the company easily accommodated me and the movers came back later. They called me approximately 25 to 30 minutes before their arrival. Three men Easily move out my mattress and box spring within five minutes. I was very satisfied with their accommodations and ability to quickly and professionally removed the items from my living space. I will Definitely be considering their business again in the future.

Fast friendly and efficient service. The best service I have received lately from any company. Justin and Ty were just excellent. I completed the online contact form and within minutes Kristine called me and we booked an appointment time between 9:30am—11:30am on the date chosen. Ty and Justin arrived at 9:15 and the job was completed by 9:36am. They were friendly and efficient. They were careful not to bang walls and door frames when moving the items. I was just so impressed. I would definitely use this company again and would feel quite comfortable referring to friends and family.

Charles, Chris, Chandler, and Nathan were great They bundled up every bit of furniture and moved things quickly with care. They were punctual, professional, and fun. They also went above and beyond to get everything we needed moved, including a handful of things that were not on our original quoted list. I was most impressed by their ability to quickly move everything in, get it structured, and then position our furniture exactly as requested. This is our second time moving with College Hunks and I will always recommend the Indy service team to anyone who asks. Great job, Hunks!

Everyone I spoke to was great. When I called in Alexis was friendly. She quoted me a time same day only a few hours later which was fantastic. Brad and Rob showed up even earlier than scheduled asking if it was okay as they were nearby already. From calling to having someone at my house it was less than two hours which is impressive. They were great explained the benefits of using them and then got my two couches out quickly and problem free. One of them even played with my dogs which really enjoyed the attention. Down to earth friendly and efficient. I was very pleased. Thanks.

Our overall experience was not great. The two men that helped move were great and worked very hard. However, we were quoted two trucks, 4 guys and a 6 hour move. Due to call offs that day, we got half the movers for a majority of the day, only one truck, and ended up taking 12 hours. Unfortunate circumstances, that were out of our control, but we should not have been charged for 12 hours and definitely not happy that it took our entire day and well into the night. Left feedback when prompted by the company and never heard back The quote we were given should have been honored.

UPDATE. After they contacted me to try and make it right (see below), I contacted the customer service team. They have emailed the manager again and again it was met with no response. Damaged my wall while removing a piece of furniture and will not respond to repair the damage. I have communicated through email, text, and voicemails and they have yet to follow through with their mission of making it a pleasant experience. The only experience I have is to pay for a large hole in my wall that I didn’t have before they came. They don’t care about anything after they get paid.

These guys saved me! I had scheduled a move with another provider who canceled on me the day of the move. I called College Hunks, and they were able to get a move team to me within 24 hours. Outstanding responsiveness and customer service. The only issue I had with my team is that they had some newer members, and they broke one of my bookcases during unloading. However, they ordered me a new one (of the exact same model) within 15 minutes of filing the claim. Mistakes happen; all you can ask for is that the mover makes it right, and College Hunks delivered. 5/5

Prompt, Professional, and Super Easy to work with!! I booked online a few days ahead. They called the morning of to ask if they could come even earlier than the time I booked, which worked out perfectly. They went over pricing and even took an old TV that I wasn't sure I would ever get rid of due to the size and it being a tube TV. Pricing is reasonable and the two gentlemen who did the work were speedy and careful. Thanks Brady and Josh!! You did a great job! I will use College Hunks again and recommend the company to anyone needing things hauled away.

The 3 man crew that helped us move in to our brand new home was phenomenal! Not only were they professional & friendly but also on time and a fun group of guys! They were so careful with our belongings, respectful of the property and super efficient! I had never hired movers before and was so happy (and relieved) they made the day so easy! ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE THEM!!! Their movers destroyed multiple pieces of furniture including a table that was several thousand dollars. I have called probably 8 times and the College Hunks corporate office even called for me. I finally got one email from them that said send us pictures of what we ruined, which I did, and then no response. When they moved my dining table they flipped it top down and then just slid it up across the back of the truck without any blankets under to protect it. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE HEARTACHE AND DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!

The movers themselves weren’t bad! They worked fast to get the job done, and it ended up being cheaper than what we were quoted for and only had one significantly damaged item. We did file a claim for the damaged dresser within a week of moving and I still haven’t heard back about it. I keep following up and can’t ever get through on the phone, and when I do they say corporate will call within 3 business days. It’s been about two months and still haven’t received follow up. So if follow through isn’t important, I would definitely recommend them!

Noah and Travis did a great job moving me, they were pleasant to work with. They were prompt and had quite knowledgeable moving experience. Noah did a great guide guiding Travis as he was newer to the job. And although the move took longer than I anticipated due to having a ton of walking to do from my old apt to the loading area I didn't mind paying extra because they never slowed down and remained courteous the whole time. I'd definitely use them again and recommend them to friends.

We recently used College Hunks to move our mother into an senior living apartment building. She is upstairs and there was an elevator available for the move. The guys were so considerate of the residents needs for the elevator, that they chose the stairs. We had heavy furniture! We were impressed with that. Living room furniture in dining room. Unable to get commitment to put furniture in desired area over 2 weeks of calling back and forth. In between no calls and no show appointments. Don't use these people.. unorganized franchise, most working from home and no internal communication.

The online dashboard was moved to "finished" without a visit or a phone call. We confirmed with the 1-800 phone service for College Hunks Hauling and they confirmed a note in the record that they were short staffed and had phone troubles on their side so no phone call to us, the clients.

I was surprised to see that they didn’t wrap anything in plastic and blankets were only used when I came out and specifically asked for them, was too late for some pieces.
