My daughter went in twice for the same lower back injury which occurred in June from a vehicle accident. She first went in June. They first told her it's a bruised tail bone. They said they weren't going to bother doing X-rays. The doctor just felt around, saying it's bruised and said treat it with Tylenol and ice. By July she wasn't getting any better. I came along with my daughter this time to get checked out again at Concordia. She got X-rays this time. One of the triage nurses at the desk where the beds are, absolutely curt and uncaring demeanor. My daughter has been having a hard time walking for long periods and at this point of the visit her legs giving out when she walked. She needed to use the washroom. I asked the nurse if there was a wheelchair that could be brought to her so she can just get to the washroom and be done quick. Instead the nurse said she'll "get something" and to go sit. I went back to my daughter. We waited about 5 minutes, then the nurse came and firmly demanded to know what was going on with her, as in how she got injured, in a, interrogative tone, and then kneaded and rolled her body around like dough. My daughter had to really go to the washroom at this point. I don't know what the reason was that my daughter couldn't just use the washroom quickly and then go through the interrogation and body kneading. Besides the weird bedside manners, they didn't do any other diagnostics. Sent her on her way saying it's a sciatic nerve damage, and prescribed her 3 pain medications and told her it didn't matter if she uses hot or cold packs on her injury. She hasn't gotten any better. Perhaps worse. Just today, in Sept., my daughter went to the Pan Am clinic where she was properly examined and it turns out it's all muscle trauma in her hips. She was told NOT to use an ice pack. Heat only. The ice packs were making it worse, and told it's going to take a more months to heal. That's more information and a thorough care than Concordia bothered to do.

I was taken to Concordia Urgent Care by Paramedics last week. It was a life altering experience as I was really having problems. The Staff and I mean ‘All’ the Staff that tended to me, were kind, professional and were always watching me to see how I was doing. They went out of their way for me. I am so sorry for letting you all down and kudos to Keith who saved my life, such a kind person like I’ve never met. I know everyone in the Transcona, and Kildonan areas are upset with the wait times, but we can’t blame the staff!! It’s our Government that better do something quick to help these Hospitals and support the Staff or we aren’t going to have these wonderful hard working people. During my week stay, I saw many Staff working 24 hours straight. On my visit, I observed such rudeness towards Staff, I was appalled! At 76, you think you’ve seen it all, but guess not. Spitting at anyone is unacceptable much less the person who is trying to make you more comfortable. One lady patient was screaming very loudly as her Mom had just passed and other patients are telling her to shut the Frick up. What’s wrong with you people? One Nurse for 4-6 patients at times and all their patients are needing something at the same time. Bathroom trips, water, meds, covers. On Sunday of August Long Weekend, my daughter informed me she was late because of all the people waiting for the ER. Mom, she says, people are throwing up, crying or just sleeping in a car. Don’t quote me here but I overheard them talking about having to hire extra Guards to be at Main and Emergencies entrances. This is just so wrong on so many levels. Where the heck is our Government. Maybe it’s time to start hiring Clowns for Government, they could not be worse and at least we could laugh as the ship goes down instead of crying. Remember as well, Concordia is not the only Hospital or Urgent Care facility (scary eh?). Anyway, Thank you again Concordia Urgent Care Staff, especially Keith. Blessed Be, Sheila Dolan

Everytime I come to this hospital something always goes bad. I told the Dr that I couldnt move my wrist wand was feeling pain in all of my joints. Wrist was red and swollen. He told me it was from an STD that caused reactive arthritus. 2 more times in the next two weeks back to the hospital because I was getting worse. Turns out I had a blood infection from a previous surgery. Almost went septic, had to be transferred to St. B. 10 months later still have lasting effects. Also the second or third time I was there I was in so much pain I was a bit short (she reasked me a question and replied I already told you that, I was just here last week) with the intake staff. This staff member then asked the security guard to stand beside me while I finished answering questions. Also the nurse that aksed if I "really needed wheelchair." I still have PTSD from the whole experience. Oh, and the time my Aunt was there and she complained about leg pain and was ignored for two days then died from a bloodclot that travelled from her leg. Oh and the time i brought my son in for pain in his foot and the Dr told me it was a mole. Went home and I decided to take another look at it under light, there was a piece of glass as long as my pinky nail where the "mole" was. Man, I swear to God, never again. That happens when youve been conditioned to not question Drs and told "your pain cant be that bad." The 50 percent of Drs that believe POC don't experience pain must work here. Dont go here if black, or a POC.

It's so hard deciding stars here. The staff at urgent care 5/5☆ hands down. They have been so busy and able to work there urgent care room effectively with little conflict. I just think there is a huge disconnect with services that maybe should be working together better. I have 3 major concussions one leaving me with a brain injury. Anyone with one can tell you even a bump to the head is enough to throw a bunch of elevated symptoms at you. I was hit in my vehicle Friday morning by someone who ran a red light. I rested for most of the day then 2 events happened I decided to call health links. AN HOUR AND 45 MINUTES wait on the phone. She transfers me to 911, dispatch had another phone paramedic call me who says they want to send me by ambulance but they don't have any so they paid for a cab.... all this worry and effort from one side, 15 hours in urgent care for me and the doctor says I can't walk straight and fall to the right because of my minor chest cold. I just don't feel like these opinions add up. So who's the one we should listen too? I had 3 emergency personal say ambulance to the hospital and 1 doctor essentially saying you could have stayed home and slept it off. ‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️. I know the next time I might be potentially hurt I'm definitely just staying home. (I also have asthma so chest colds are very exaggerated for me. I've had ones 10 times worse than this one and never had issues walking or blacking out when I blew my nose ‍♀️)

Worst service!! Worst experience!! Worst waiting time!! They tel you waiting time is around 4-5 hours but they make you wait for more than 9hours.. plus their sitting is worsttt too. The patient visit hospital in emergency situation only, then why they not empathize with them??? These people donT have good sitting or comfortable chairs, as they take you for vacations and they cannot afford for good sitting? How can a emergency patient sit on these uncomfortable chairs for more than 9-10hours??? Moreover, they have worsttt staff!! They are so partial as they take patients according to their wish or according to who they feel is best to go IN first.. they take patients randomly by calling them. I had a long wait for 12 hours in emergency pain but they took all others who came after me (as i told they are partial ). After i did vomit infront of them the front desk lady told “ you should wait and be patient as it will take 8hours more”. After hearing this many a times i ended up crying and coming back despite waiting for 12 hours!! I request Manitoba authorities to change this kind of staff in hospitals so that poor patients could get help on time, and precious lives could be saved from these butchers!!

I had total knee replacement in June 2011 and the compassion and care by the staff was excellent, and they did not mind that my family could only get there after the regular visiting hours, they knew how important it was to me and to them to see me daily, and for that I was ever so great full, and it also put them at ease knowing I was all right. At that time the food was amazing, I had a wonderful experience, and I know with in the next couple of years I am going to have another total knee replacement, and it will be at Concordia Hospital. I have also been to the emergency and I have never had a bad experience, yeah maybe a short wait but never more than 60 minutes. You have to remember you don't know what's already there and what the situation maybe them and those who are in life threatening illness will be taken first. I have driven from the south end of the city to Concordia, as I really dont like St. Boniface Hospital, they have 2-4 hours wait and I have even waited 6 hours to find out they can't treat me and send too HSC, I highly recommend CONCORDIA HOSPITAL :)

I'm doing 2 separate reviews because I got completely different treatment from triage to the doctor. Triage nurses, health care aids and my nurse Yussef were all AMAZING! They were careful, courteous and compassionate to me. Even the lady who drew my blood deserves 5 stars. So THANK YOU to all of you who have such a tough job to do and still treating me well even though the waiting room gained a 4 hour wait time while I sat there. They took the time to check up on patients who have been waiting awhile and treating people with dignity ! Review 2 (1 small star) As for the doctor who saw me in the room... Your bed side manner sucks You rush You accused me of being an alcoholic, (I don't even drink!) And then accused me of lying about this Told me you could only treat one symptom...(when these could all be connected to eachother) I hope to God that anyone who has something major going on doesn't get you as a doctor I give the doctor 1 star for at least giving me anxiety meds, nausea meds and IV.. ..but really as a doctor, I don't recommend you!

Asked by phone if we could wait while a family member was in surgery, said sure no problem. Get there after driving two hours to be told no one else is allowed in. Drive back two hours to be told by said family member the second we pull into the driveway that the surgery has been cancelled (1.5 hours after he was supposed to be there) and now have to turn around and come back. 6 hours of driving (because we’re just getting a hotel tonight at this point) the same roads three times because nobody in this hospital knows how to communicate. Update: after over four years of having ruptured discs in his neck that just get worse (what started as two is now four, needs to brace himself while coughing, loses feeling/use in arm, hurts to sit/stand/lay down), he was told when he saw the surgeon just before surgery today that he can’t believe how well he’s doing and that he doesn’t need surgery. I guess the only way for him to get any amount of health care at all in this country will be once he’s paralyzed from the neck down.

My experiences have been dramatically different to say the least. Went in once with a terribly strained back. Didn't have to wait long to see a doctor, however I believe that's because I was adamant on not wanting pain meds unless I needed them. That time the doctor was very kind and helpful. They were also the better of thr teo hospitals my wife went to when she was diagnosed with myelitis. My most recent visit, though, was atrocious. I went in friday night and waited from 9:50pm until 3:30am without even leaving the waiting room. Left because I have a wife with a condition and a young kid at home. I have a debilitating stiff neck and malaise. I came back the next day and waited longer. I finally saw a doctor and he was pretty quick to get me out. Recommended physio or massage. Things like this make me hesitant to go to any waiting room now. At least the nursing staff was at least kinder to me the second time around because I told then I had left after waiting so long when there was no one in the waiting room.

Caught an old man with a walker again coming into moms room boy did I startled him The first time he had an aide cornered giving her a hard time cause he didn’t want to leave The nurse was no help at all Said they do their best but they are free to roam The corridors So I went looking for him Hes in another ward I found him in front of the nurses station Called out to the nurses that he was bothering my mom All Of a sudden the nurses are doing something Looked him Straight in the eye and told him to stay out of my moms room She’s palliative Told the nurses that’s twice I caught him and like some little kid he said once I pointed in his face and told him it was twice and to stay the hell Away from her How many other times had he been in her room Now I’m here 24/7 to protect my dying mother because this man is free to roam the corridors Thank you Concordia for your help In providing my mother a SAFE environment to die in!!!! So I am sitting at the Concordia hospital in Winnipeg. 5 mins ago I heard the speak asking anyone in the building who speaks Russian please call a internal number. I realized this could be a urgent medical need for someone's life. So I stood up and went to an closest desk told the staff that I know someone speaks perfect Russian and English, ask him to check if that person made the announcement in the speaker still needs assistance. The staff then told me it's not his business and he's just a analysit. I said but it's on your speaker you can just call that internal number and ask! He said " oh it's not my speaker you'd have to go to the front to talk to the information center." WOW, no, i haven't attend 8 years of medical school, I do not have to do anything. Mr, you work in a damn hospital and your job is to save people's life! It's supposed for you to do whatever you have to do to get that job done!! Hospital Concordia

My mother was a patient from 11/27 until 12/22 on 2 East. She was glad to get the help and healing she needed when she broke her hip. She loved the warm blankets, and the therapy that she received. Even the food was good quality. One problem she had that she didn't tell anyone about until she was ready to be discharged (and didn't want me to mention to anyone while she was there) is that she was washing up daily with paper towels! She had a shower once, after her staples came out. The expectation was for her to go the bathroom independently, but she says that she was not provided with a towel and washcloth to get washed, and so was washing up everyday in the bathroom with paper towels. I hope that just like the water is passed out regularly, that towels and washcloths could be passed out so that even if patients are expected to wash themselves, they are given the necessities to do this!

I went to the emergency department suffering from such severe hip and back pain that I had to be picked up off the floor the night prior. After waiting three hours, a rude nurse came and moved my hips a but and told me that it wasn't arthritis, and that there was 'no point' in doing xrays since it wasn't arthritis. When I asked to see an actual doctor she told me that I couldn't because I 'wasn't injured.' I left there, went to the Pan Am clinic, saw and actual doctor, who did the 'pointless' x-rays which showed a big part of the problem; a worn down disc in my lower back. After some more tests they also discovered I have bursitis in both hips. Do not go to Concordia. Go to ANY OTHER hospital if you have to go to a hospital. This place is USELESS. Unless you are bleeding to death on their floor, they will do nothing to help you.

Do not allow your elderly parent to be brought to this hospital, especially if they have dementia. If you have to bring them here, stay with them 24/7 and keep a watchful eye. My mother was unfortunately brought to this hospital by ambulance in mid-February, 2018. The staff's lack of caring was evident throughout (they wanted to pull the plug on her from day one even though she showed marked improvement after a week) and my brother had to fight every day to have my Mom properly looked after. During her second week there, they were “too busy” and “forgot” to put her feeding tube in for 55 hours – she was 91!!! Honest to God, who does that? In the end, they got what they wanted because my mother was so weak from not being fed. She died last night (March 2, 2018). Why even have a Hippocratic Oath? More like a Hypocritical Oath!

Took my daughter in to see if she had a broken nose because she fell off her bike. Waited 3 hours and still no doctor. I was told that they only had 2 doctors but didn't know when we would seen. My daughter is 7 and I also had my son with me who's 4. They're kids and they were tired and cranky so they were walking around in the hallway when a staff member asked if I had been assigned to a room. I said yes and she said then we should stay there and not be in the hallway. The kids were just tired of being in that tiny room, they're weren't doing anything wrong. Anyway, after 3 hrs of nothing and that rude red headed woman, we just left since it was 9 and my kids were tired and sleepy by then. Ended up taking my daughter to see her pediatrician the next day. That was my first and last time at that horrible hospital.

I was a patient at Urgent Care Easter Long Weekend. I arrived by ambulance my BP had skyrocketed with symptoms of severe abdominal pain. I was afraid and feeling very unwell. The Urgent staff were all very empathetic and helpful. I didn't wait too long for medical care. They took my concerns seriously and professionally. Dr. Blondin really took his time ,ran bloodwork, US,and CT scan,2 EKGs and then explained my condition with me as well future  treatment. I had a great visit and the doctor's demeanor put me at ease so I highly recommend Concordia. Top notch professionals. Our emergency service has taken much negative feedback. The Doctors, nurses, HCA,are very overwhelming overworked. I wanted to share my positive experience. I am now healthy and healing. Much respect to the urgent care team. Thank you.

Still currently waiting at this place, staff willingly ignores me, 1 member of staff has actually checked up on us about twice within the past 10 hours that we have been here. After 8 and a half hours of waiting in a great deal of pain finally got put into a room where we are still waiting on a nurse to come by forget even seeing a doctor. Still no nurse has arrived we are at 10 hours and 30 minutes. The doctor just came by and answered my questions that I had. Nurse has just came by and all the staff seems really nice when talking to you but as usual everyone here is busy as hell it makes sense why we're low on the list but that doesn't make me any less upset for being in pain for this long and not receiving any assistance until our 10 and a half hours into this visit

I came to Concordia for a gastroscopy with Dr. Taylor having been contacted 24 hours the day before, as they had a cancelation. From beginning to end I had an excellent experience. I was screened by the staff re: COVID, as one is screened at all Healthcare facilities and then directed to the Endoscopy Department in their day surgery unit. My name had been spelled incorrectly and was quickly corrected. I was treated with respect and politeness every step of the way. I found all the staff professional, competent, collaborative and cohesive, very much working as a team. Big shout out to Nurses, Tannis, Jill and Anita and Healthcare Aide Stephanie. Thank you for the wonderful care that I recieved today. You are all to be commended. Keep up the great work!

  • Myss Lyss

Today I had an amazing ultrasound technician who was professional, communicative, and thorough. A step up from the last time I came. However, the sign near the check in desk has a sign that says "Repiratory therapy" and really needs to be fixed to respiratory. I mean come on guys, it's a hospital not a daycare. Also, I agree with a lot of the rude behaviour from the people who run the check ins and waiting area at the ER. I usually feel very uncomfortable asking any types of questions because they've all been there done that and don't want to hear it and they act like the patients are a nuisance. They need to put themselves in the mindset that if they were to have no medical training and were frightened and checking in how they would feel.

My wife is having possible serious and life threatening symptoms. Nurses at health links were very concerned and faxed over her information to the hospital, and told her to see a doctor within four hours. After taking patients (that weren't any worse off than my wife) that came in after my wife, my wife asked why she was waiting for 4 hours just to watch these people go ahead of her. She decided to leave, as she was leaving the security said she was called. From then on the nurse was verbally abusive toward my wife and mistreated my wife and just tossed a blanket at her, so my wife left. Sounds to me like the staff there need to see a different kind of doctor..

  • Kelsey Krempasky

I broke my ankle on New Years Eve and was sent to urgent care at Concordia. The nurses (and paramedics) were all incredibly nice and helpful. I waited for four hours in the emergency room, understandable, and once I got to see a doctor, things were very fast. I was told to call on the next business day to speak to an orthopedic surgeon, but he called the next day on New Years day to come for surgery the next day. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Burnell and his team. I only waited about an hour and a half for the surgery. They talked me through it during the surgery, and the anesthesiologist was phenomenal (I wish I remembered his name).

  • Gina Frick

Don't come here if you actually want to be treated. They will make you wait 4+ hours for a doctor then turn you away after having one look and say we can't help you "you should have went to HSC or St.B and you wasted your time coming here". I clearly stated in triage what i was there for and I had been treated for the same thing there before. Doesn't seem like they really care about a 10/10 pain. Had to wait 10+ more hours waiting at HSC when they could've offered to call ahead and let them know. Seems like the doctor cares more about her Botox business than walk-ins.

  • Jeannette Horvath

I don't know why people complain about waiting a few hours at a emergency. From the time I walked in, to the time I left, total was about 3 hrs. And this was on a Saturday night. Come on people, give your head a shake. I have seen and heard people wait that long at their doctors office for a regular apt. This is emergency.....what do you except? There are more situation worse then yours. If you don't except to wait, don't go. If you have time to sit and complain about waiting.....your offensively not in that much pain!

  • Crown Royal

They couldn't even take care of a goldfish there. PLEASE avoid it like the plague. My Mom is in this hospital right now. She had a stroke and is recovering. I can NOT go see her because of covid. Yet, I am her caregiver. She has fallen 2X times and injured herself. Then they tell me she is covid free. Two days later she is in covid isolation. WHAT Everyday is a different story. They do not know from shift to shift what is going on. I am going to get her out of there before they kill her.

  • Karyn Crone

On August 1, 2022 I was taken by ambulance to Concordia after falling off my deck. X-rays revealed I broke my tibia and fibula. From the moment we arrived at the hospital until my discharge two days later I was provided with exceptional care. Staff in all areas were friendly and accommodating. My bones were set and surgery completed the same day of my accident. The paramedics were terrific too. The hospital staff and surgeon made a horrific situation a positive experience. Thank you!

  • Julia Somerville

My dad is currently there. He can not walk. He can not stand. They are willing to release him this week by STRETCHER to his place of residence. They obviously are not trained how to actually get people back on their feet. He has been there for a couple weeks. They have let him stay in bed all day. Don't make an active stance on him getting out of bed. Gross negligence. Incompetent staff would only do this. If you want your loved to recover keep them out of here!!!

  • mize Da Silva

Nothing is perfect but of all the hospitals in Winnipeg this is by far the friendliest and cleaner! I strongly believe hospitals should always be kept extremely clean and sanitized, i feel safe going there! Staff are very friendly not like at other hospitals where you rarely find a staff member that is compassionate and caring! My waiting wasn’t bad considering it was a Friday evening! I would pick this hospital anytime over any other one in the city.

  • Carrie Waskul

Was there on a thurs night after my family doctor sent me waited over 5 hours . Saw 2 couples leave saying they were waiting over 8 hrs. The triage nurse was great and very nice . Gave me 2 t3s. I had bad stomach pain into my back. Hurt to pee and blood in my urine. Finally saw a doctor he talked to me for less than 5 min. He was saying are u sure ur not in your period and he wouldn't let me explain myself . Very rude . What a joke for a doctor .

  • Montana D

Thanks to the Conservative Government this place has gone downhill. No emergency ward and staff is over worked, despite trying their best. Wish the Emergency Wards in Concordia and Seven Oaks would be reopened. You get what you vote for. I wish one of those who voted to support the PC government woukd see what it was like to travel by ambulance from East Saint Paul all the way to St. Boniface! Matter of life and death measured in travel time.

  • Jason Crook

It's looking like Manitoba has done an amazing job protecting itself from the Accountability that I've been guaranteed to see under Canadian Law. It's only wrong if you get caught, am I right? I learned too late that you are all basically fascist criminals. If I have to die here behind your deceit and compounded vile behaviour, I'm not doing so without sharing my experiences under your parties regime with everyone in the world.

  • stacy epp

For the amount of ignorance I have seen at this health care facility, I would not recommend going here. The staff in day surgery are unprofessional, to say the least and have some of the worst bedside manner I have ever seen. Came back for followup today and zero room in their waiting room and employee decided it would be a good idea to get ignorant. Obviously if one is standing in the hall there is zero room in there .....

  • Jamie Dowhan

My husband, my son and I have all had great care at Concordia Hospital over the years. We have found the doctors to be very thorough. When they felt one of us needed to transfer to another hospital for further diagnosis or treatment, they made arrangements for that to happen. I do agree, the emergency room waits are far too long. This is a problem in all Manitoba hospitals and it needs to be addressed.

  • Sandeep Kumar

First time to concordia hospital , its more than worst for an experience, made me wait 4 hours in waiting area 4 hours in room ,still no doctor to be found, its better to tolerate your pain at home than coming to this hospital, horrible staff nobody answer your question. Their strategy is to make you wait so that you gets exhausted and leave without seeing a doctor and staff can go on resting mode.

  • Shea

Usually nurses are the only good part about a chronic illness and always being in the hospital it's the doctors that are the problem. Here it's both, doctors only telling half truths and nurses withholding medication because they think you're faking your chronic illness. Nevermind the patronizing tone. I've been dealing chorionic health issues for 6 years and this is completely unacceptable.

  • Joy Casuncad

Waited for 4hours before doctor checked my boyfriend who's dying of stomach pain. If I didn't randomly talk to one of the doctors, he will have to wait for severe pain in several hours. Such a disappointment! If you're going to ask nurses if the patient can eat or drink they will say my boyfriend needs to be look at first by a doctor. But he's on pain already and now starving and thirsty.

  • Kev Jao

waited 5 hours before i got into a treatment room. The doctor didnt even introduce himself. He looked like a maintenance guy. Didnt do any assessment on me. he told me that i was free to go and theyll call me once the results are back. He was such in a rush. Worst experience ever. Will bot be coming back here. Too bad I didnt get his name. He was caucasian and in the heavier side.

  • Rug Fish

I waited in the emergency room for over 3 hours with my wife while she endured chronic head and jaw pain, tears streaming down her face from pain, and no one would see us. Multiple people ahead of us who were in seemingly less pain were allowed in ahead. Either a lack of doctors or a lack of caring was the issue. Honestly the worst experience we've had at a hospital.Very slow.

  • Jamie Eva

I had horrible stomach pains, I left due to the waiting time of a couple hours, I could not sit in one place, left the hospital, the pain got worse so I took an Ambulance back. I was laughed at for coming back by the paramedics and staff while crying in pain. I felt like they did not care, would not recommend if you want to feel ridiculed, I’ll be making a complaint.

  • Gur Sran

There should be asian doctors and nurses they have better skills and experience to handle serious cases. i have seen here doctors and staff are not good at practical hands they just do what instructions says but not understanding what is actually required what is real situation. Nurses just busy with paperwork and playing with computers i felt like i came in bank.

  • Ralph Christianson

I had knee surgery this week, I was very impressed with the staff and their caring attitude. The meals were excellent and the support was wonderful in a clean environment. The whole experience was my first and was well organized all the steps from pre-op to recovery. The doctors and nurses gave 100% and with all the checks and balances it went very well.

  • hicham BAGUI

Its my third time coming here and average waiting time is 2 hours like do we have doctors in Winnipeg ? Are we not paying enough taxes. And now they said it will be 4 to 6 hours wait time April 6th 2018 now The situation in the hospital didn't change I am here again waiting since 7 am this morning its 9:30 didnt see a nurse or a doctor or anything yet.

  • Audacity - Quality Memes

One of the worst experiences ever. I was sitting in the hospital for over 2 hours with no doctor. Now if I had a complex situation that would be understandable but I only needed a blood test to check for mumps. Horrible experience overall and would not recommend anyone to go over there because you'll probably be corpse by the time they come over.

  • Vikki Pink

Good experience here. Triage nurse was very kind, warm and welcoming. The nurse assigned to me was diligent in her initial assessment and approachable. The doctor ordered many tests to try to figure out my issue. Gave me what I initially set out for as far as follow up care. Very thorough. Into triage and out in 4 hours. Very acceptable I’d say.

My girlfriend had a severe allergic reaction while out for dinner. Rushed her to Concordia only waited about 15 min before they got her in a bed and had an IV in her. They were monitoring her constantly felt like she was in very good hands the entire time we were there.Thank you for everything! The nurse and doctor who helped are amazing!

Last place I want to review is a hospital, but I broke my ankle on Friday and was transported to Concordia. Great service and very kind staff. Broke it at 6:20am, set the dislocation around 8am, surgery by 3:30pm and home by 10pm. All in all a great experience and plenty of patience dealing with a stubborn guy like myself!

  • Shirley Dovidija

We went to er for a visit for blood pressure, waited 6 hrs for a doctor, got a blood pressure medication finally. I think we should of been seen sooner!what would of happened if someone had a heart ❤️ problem? PLEASE support our Healthcare Staff, and provide more funding ! THANK you to the Doctors and staff!

  • Garbear

Severe understaffing, as with most hospitals in Canada, seems to be the downfall of this particular one. Have sat in the ER for 14+ hours previously, while many people around me sat for even longer. The only thing preventing it from getting a 1 star was the staff. They were overall helpful and considerate.

  • Arthur

It's worst hospital with seven joks hospital in wpg they screwed up patients charts or that what they say they where taking blood from wrong patient and telling me that mom need blood transfuse asap it took them 3 days to figure up that they have wrong patient those hospitals are run by bunch of baboons

  • John Ross

My 100 yr old mother was transported to Concordia from St Boniface. Has had the worst treatment ever. She fell and broke her right arm just below shoulder. Doctors don't return calls and there are no staff. She is not taken care of. A 1 star is even too high of a rating

  • Janet Raymond

Attended the cast clinic for surgical staple removal. A fundraising prize draw was being held in the main foyer, congrats to the winners BTW. Staples out in a few minutes and I was on my way. Fast, safe and nearly painless procedure by friendly nursing professional.

  • Norbert Berard

I had total shoulder replacement surgery performed at Concordia Hospital on October 2, 2017 and am very satisfied with the care given by all staff. Very positive experience provided by a caring and well oiled machine. My thanks to all involved. Norbert Berard

  • Ginoo Pogi

When my wife had a hairline fracture (on February 2015) on her arm they did not pressure her for surgery, as it was not needed. Staff was caring, very clean, easy to find cafeteria, parking is a snap too. Thank you for taking great care of my wife in need.

  • alexa popovich

I went in on Thursday after cutting my had open and needing 8 stitches. They cared for me in less then 3 hours and gave me excellent medical care and put me at ease about the cut in my hand. The nurse practitioner was amazing and did excellent stitches.

  • Kyla Massey

The doctors have been great for most of my experiences at Concordia and the NURSES, are compassionate and empathetic. Last couple times I've been here felt like I was dying but they fixed me up like new! Keep up the great work Concordia Urgent care!

  • Zachary Dewit

My friend had heart issues and they didn't treat him quickly. He sat in waiting room for 12 hours. Kinda sucks. New city bylaws should be passed for this place to be properly functional. Not the staff fault. Keep trucking my dear front line workers.

  • Ron Hansen

I went in on Wednesday for an operation, and I was there for almost 3 full days. All the staff, nurses, support, OT, PT, surgeon, everyone were so awesome! They were so helpful, patient, explained everything so well, and took such great

  • Farida Alaka

I went in for chronic migraines and I got treated very well. I was surprised at the awesome service I got, especially from the nurses. Kristie and Elaina were especially helpful. This is the best experience I’ve had in a hospital.

  • Felicia Henry

2023/06/23 The woman that was working at window 3 has absolutely no manners and is very disrespectful. I don't know if it's because I am black and she's racist but what I know is, she needs customer service training.

  • Max “Powers”

Wow it takes 3 hours to get an x-ray. Must be more Manitoba budget cuts again. I'm never coming back here again even if I was dying near by. I think I would die in the emergency room before I see a doctor.

  • kathleen mackinnon (Sasqua)

Back in 2008 my grandparents have both passed on and I still think about how her wedding ring and engagement ring went missing If you go here please mind your valuables and don't let the nurse bag them

  • VIKAS VERMA

Worst hospital experience, arrived at 8:30 and left at 5am without any medical attention being provided. They should shut the ER down if they aren't gonna hire proper staff to do job.
