We have been members at this synagogue since 1998. What a great community! Rabbi Mark is a real mensch and has built up a great program for both young and old. Services are still held in the conservative style, however prayerbooks with English transliterations are available. The congregants believe in lay leadership participation and are open to new members of all backgrounds. Both of our children had their bar/bat mitzvah here and it was a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

This congregation is affiliated with both the Conservative and Reform movements. It is both welcoming and diverse. It offers a traditional (egalitarian) Torah service, now somewhat abbreviated due to COVID protocol and to accommodate hybrid in-person and Zoom format.

I was there for a blood drive. This facility has a good space for Vitalent to set up. I haven't been to BIJ very often as I don't have an easy way to get there.
