The breads and bakes are really good but the attitude of their cashier is the sole reason I will never return. I watched the female cashier be rude, loud and give an elderly retiree with a cane the nastiest attitude ever. I watch the whole thing occur, seems the ladies order was not understood and the customer informed them that she doesn’t want to return anything she just wanted to add what she really wanted to her order and she will keep what she didn’t want and also pay for it. This cashier with a loud tone tells the woman ‘you should’ve made the right order, the machine can’t do that’. If that was my parent I would’ve lost it in this place. The servers are kind, but the cashier is a disgusting person and the owner should move her to the back to help the chefs and send her to a customer service class. Better yet fire her as previous reviews all state her nasty attitude. I would not recommend this place to anyone and as a Caribbean own restaurant we can DO BETTER, especially towards our elders. This cashier maybe didn’t have parents or grand parents? Maybe she doesn’t think she will get old like we all will. Whatever the cashier should be reprimanded. My regret is not video taping the incident to truly expose her nasty ways.

This bakery is sooo awesome. They open 7 days a week and customer service is precise. Before you walk in you can smell the fresh bake bread, and you just know before it even touches your tongue that it will be moist and buttery. You can get pastries, cakes, not to mention the bake with corn beef or Salmon. Ohhhhh, I adore this place, especially early in the morning and the bread is just Coming out of the oven. 5stars!!

Always a delightful experience when I am here! One of the best Caribbean bakery’s in Brooklyn. New York. America. The world! It always remind me of Grandma back in the day in Trinidad just up at 5am and baking and cooking like her life depended on it could taste the passion of the cultures blended into unique flavors of the currents roll.. sponge cake.. slice cake.. Fresh baked bread ❤️ TREAT YO SELF!! Poetic Approved

This bakery is a smaller version than I'm accustomed to visiting. You will find the usual staples of Caribbean pastries. The current roll was delicious and the taste as expected. It's my first visit to this location, but I'll be coming back to see what new things they may be doing. The staff seems reasonable nice. They may need to work on their customer service but their efficient at service delivery.

I bought a canoli, 2 salaras, coconut buns and bread because I've hear so much about Conrad's. Unfortunately the only edible item was the salara (they were hard and needed to be microwaved). The bread and buns were dry and lacked sugar so they went into the trash...and my canoli was extremely too sweet, I took too bites and it was too much. I am mad I wasted my time and money on this place, never again.

This is the worst roast bake and smoke herring I’ve ever taste. The herring is Sour and the bake taste like it’s old!! Not sure what’s going on with the flavors. 2 bite is the best I can do to try eat this thing. Also my husband got the roast bake and corn beef and it was good either ( bake no good). Very disappointing

Thee best fired bake and salt fish is right here. I tell no lies. Don't waste ya time at them other places where they stuff the saltfish with cabbage this is the real deal here. I should also but should not also tell you that sundays they have bake and shark and they are not cheap with it either but get there early.

This place makes me forget that I am supposed to avoid carbs. The aroma of bread and pastries wakes up the senses. Their fried bakes with saltfish is delicious. Portion sizes are pretty generous. The coconut turnover brought back happy childhood memories of my mother's baking.

At first I’d give their items a million stars if I could and the patty use to be so good. I just wasted my money buying patty and it tastes awful. Even golden Krust patty tastes better....... It hurts my heart to even say that.

This place has been a staple in the West Indian community and for good reason. The pastries are so good. The star of the show is the homemade bread. The employees are very warm and inviting most times as well :)

Rude females at Cashier didn’t Even Bother spending my money there I Wanted to Buy A Big Order For A Family So I Was Asking How Much Were Things They we’re just plain rude and nasty and Refused to answer

They don’t know what kind of icing is on there cakes, and don’t know about most of what they sell. Also the older lady in the front is very unpleasant. Stay home if you don’t like your job!! …

Beef patties cold and hard as a rock. Customer service was subpar at best. Truly disappointed as this was one of my favorite places to grab a snack or something to hold you over until dinner time.

  • Dennis Bradshaw (djb)

The place is usually busy, it's hard dough bread is the best around town. They also sell a delicious and beautiful cakes. Starting at 6am they serve a scrumptious West Indian style breakfast.

This place is pretty cool I like the exact good service and it was a good aroma when I first walked in it's a very very nice Bakery and the owner even spoke to me with a lot of respect

  • Reena

Customer service was unfriendly. I purchased "rainbow cake" and 2 cookies with sprinkles . Both cake and cookies taste terrible. Cookies are too dry , cake tastes stale .

  • Tanay J

This is the only place in NYC that I know of that can bake fresh bread like my mom. You can smell the bread from down the street when your approaching the store.

  • Alphia Busette-Emmanuel

The inside of white bread was a bit soft like it wasn't fully baked, I also bought a pound cake n it was so cold, I called it ice cream cake but I enjoyed both.

  • James Walker

One of the best in Brooklyn, friendly staff and great price on the baked goods. When you travel 10 min from home for baked goods trust me, it's worth the trip.

  • samtheinvincible

The bread (the only thing I've ever purchased) is amazing. They can work on the nasty pigeons hovering under their awning. Otherwise, the bread is on point.

  • J Miss

I bought 2 cocobreads, a slice of coconut cake and a piece of bread pudding. Only the bread pudding was decent. The cocobreads were so dry! Waste of money.

  • Quinton McDonald
