British Consulate Milan. Not helpful at all. No reply to my email so I called them directly. I was told to contact the Italian Embassy or the local Questura to get an answer to my question. Surely it is part of their job to be aware of the regulations regarding documentation necessary for travel to and from Italy post Brexit and to be able to offer advice. Not the standard one would expect from a British Consulate.

Excellent service. Within less than a day my emergency travel papers were ready to pick up - and I applied on Sunday. Very polite and understanding of extraordinary circumstances. The lady who helped deserves a raise and praise. Thank you very much!

I do not generally give 1 stars to any service/business. But this consulate was not helpful at all. They just told me: go on the website and check there. They did not even bother to provide a specific link

I wanted to give zero star but this option is not available. The customer service and telephone manners are poor. The information given is rushed and unclear and mixed with impatient attitude and temper.

Fantastic staff, went above and beyond to get us home the next day on emergency passports. Something you hope never to need but glad it's their if you do and obviously the great staff …

they don't even make visa applications, what is the point of having a consulate here? in addition, they never answer the phone. i thought this was the british consulate not a somali one.

Questions asked about Brexit and Italian Citizenship... the lady was most helpful even when I had pressed the wrong ext. no. and arrived at Consular Emergencies ! Thank you
