The service to the airport from Venice is quite expensive but acceptable for such a unique environment. What is not acceptable is rudeness. We arrived to the airport, tipped the driver (sigh!) and realised to have forgotten a (valuable) hat just when the boat had already left. We went to the box office in the airport and told us that the boat was already in venice and we had to pay the full price for an additional run. We asked whether this could be sent by them and they replied they do not do the service. We asked whether it could be dropped to the hotel where we stayed any following day and they replied also in this case we had to pay the full price of the run (the hotel is located on the canal grande just closely the station with private moorings...it takes one minute to drop it and a taxi boat certainly passes there at least once a day). To add insult to injury the girl in the office said that hat will have been a great Christmas gift for her!! Next time: vaporetto! I can see from the reviews that there is a certain convergence, I am not surprised.

Arrived to venice yesterday. When I booked, I put the wrong date. I immediately called and the date was fixed in the system. My flight arrived 4 hours delayed. Thankfully my booking was respected and I still got my booked water taxi. Now, when We arrived to the port for the water taxi, several groups of people were waiting. The assignation of water taxis was extremely disorganized and we saw the drivers of the taxis wasting time fighting each other verbally over who got to drive where. They didn't care they had several groups waiting. In the end it took around 40 minutes for us to get a taxi and I honestly think the other people there waited even longer. I wish I hadn't booked as there were other taxi drivers around offering the ride for $140 and no wait. Additionally we wanted to add the Grand Canal drive by for extra money. However when I requested this to my driver (who was not happy he got assigned to us) he said no. It didn't matter I added it to my notes when I did the reservation.

I have had a wonderful experience using this service. We arrived by train from Florence and our hotel had water access (Duodo Palace) and with heavy suitcases we decided to use this private water taxi. Driver was waiting for us right outside the Santa Lucia station. Driver texted me with directions how to locate him. Service was fast and efficient and in 20 minutes were were by the hotel. Yes it is very expensive but service is worth if you can afford it (paid $84). With big luggage you do not want to use vaporetto (public water bus) and go to landing spot and then drag your luggage across multiple bridges not equipped for that. We liked service so much we ordered return service to Marco Polo airport (expensive but worth it-$115). Driver arrived 5 minute before that and on both ways we took lots of pictures of Grand Canal, lagoon,Murano island and other areas. Water taxi to airport from San Marco took about 30 minutes. Overall expensive service no doubt but good experience!

I cannot fault this company as expected wary due to a few bad google reviews. We have just got back from a short stay in Venice. I didn’t think we would clear the airport as quickly as we did but they managed to sort a taxi for us almost instantly and it certainly was an experience my 2 kids loved it and a great way to enter Venice. I originally booked the taxi too early for our departure so emailed to change pickup time which they changed within 24 hours and sent an email confirming and then the driver arrived 10 minutes early which was great. All luggage on and a beautiful sunrise journey back to the airport. High recommend this for transfers great a value for money this one went straight to the veranda of our hotel

Just like the other reviews I was worried about the negative ones however this company was awesome. We used them twice whilst in Venice. They were responsive, contactable 24/7 by phone and were even able to cater to me moving our pick up time. They arrived early each time and were waiting for us. The staff were lovely, helped with luggage and getting out of the boat and got us to our destination efficiently each time. Very reliable and cost effective compared to the hotel taxi which was almost three times the price. Thank you Consorzio Motoscafi. I would use this service again if I am ever in Venice and will recommend to all family and friends travelling to Venice.

Pick a different water taxi company!!! Horrible service!!! Terrible service. We had a 2 hour flight delayed. On the paper they gave us said to call a number if running late. Which called multiple times without any help because the man on the phone kept on telling us to call somebody else and beat around the bush. We found out later that the number on the paper was wrong and we were supposed to call the main man Mario. It should’ve been on the contract in the first place! When Mario and his 3 staff finally got a hold of us he said we can’t refund or even offer any discount despite the fact that we called the number multiple times!!!

Booked a pick up from Marco Polo for 23:50 after a flight coming from London. Flight was slightly delayed but was at the water taxi jetties by midnight. No sign of the taxi, eventually another water taxi operator called this company to chase them up. I also spoke to them and they said the flight was delayed, however the taxi was still in Venice. Finally got collected at 00:45 and had to show the operator where our hotel was on Google maps as he had no idea. All in all an utterly useless service, avoid at all costs. Should have read the reviews here before booking.

I had an amazing experience with them. I was able to schedule easily, you receive a discount for a round trip booking. I had to make changes to my booking due to a delayed flight at 9pm and then were very kind and accommodating. I also had to change my return booking to a different water taxi stop and they were very flexible & were there on time. Lovely boat & experience. The vaporetto (public taxi) can be a harrowing experience in Summer with the extreme heat. To ensure a lovely start & end to your Venice experience I highly recommend this company.

Book another service. They yelled at my wife at 4:45 am in the morning claiming we were at the wrong pier on the Lido. We were at the same spot as where they dropped us off, which was also where we booked. So either they dropped us off at the wrong place and made us walk 15 minutes to our hotel or they made an error on the pick-up. Either way, you don't yell at your customer (pre-paid customers) and hang up on them at 4:45 am. Our review is similar to others. Horrible service and they obviously don't care about trying to improve it.

I booked our Venice pickup online. It was after that I saw some scary reviews. So I got a little worried. But the service was excellent. I called 2 hours before the pickup to confirm. He was polite and found the booing straight away. The boat arrived within a few minutes of the scheduled time. We were even in a evmmvery specific section of Venice but nothing was a problem. The drivers were polite and great with our kids. Would definitely use again. Worth booking online as other providers charge an extra 30 euros at the airport.

I booked the service for airport transfer from hotel casanova to airport. First, when I paid online, there is no email for confirmation. Second, when I called the company to confirm, they told me to call again 2 hrs later. On the second conversation, they confirmed me that a staff will pick me up at the hotel. Third, no staff showed up. The company called the hotel to tell me i need to go to the water taxi by myself and no one will pick up me. Fourth, when I asked the staff.. they said they were not informed.

Avoid this company. I booked a water taxi for my family and I. As part of the booking, they requested by train information and number. I figured they needed this information to track my train in case there were any delays. I was wrong. Since we were late they declined to pick us up and told me they would not be refunding my money and if I wanted them to come, I would have to pay the fee again. It definitely felt like we were scammed. Save yourself the headache and book with a reputable company.

My flight to Venice was cancelled at short notice by the airline so I could not use the water taxi that I had booked. I tried to contact the company to see if I could get a refund or a voucher to rebook the water taxi at another time but it has proved impossible to contact this company to speak to anyone who can help. I was told that I had to send them an email but all of my emails have been ignored. Water taxis are not cheap so I would expect better customer service than this. I’ve had none!

Amateur move on my part, but I booked the water taxi the night before our early flight and was hoping it would work. I received a email confirmation and crossed my fingers that the taxi would be there in the morning. I tried contacting to get verification from a human but understandably they are very busy right now and couldn't get a hold of them. Nevertheless 5 mins before our pickup time the taxi was there! 5/5 for punctuality, kind chauffeur, and a beautiful last ride through Venice.

I called their 24 hour service from the hospital at 3am to take my elderly friend home from ER. The person who answered said that he wouldn’t send a taxi at this time of the morning. When I explained that my friend was old, injured and couldn’t walk well, and that I was calling the “24 hour service.” He still refused to come or send a taxi!!!! I had to walk all the way across Venice, supporting my friend on my arm!! We arrived at our hotel at 4am. I am disgusted by the lack of service!

Absolutely unreliable! Despite timely booking and a special confirmation via email that the water taxi will come to the accommodation. It took two phone calls to find out that the driver was waiting at a completely different pier. Thanks to this incompetence, we arrived at the airport over 30 minutes late. There was no apology from the company and no response to my complaint email.

Could not ask for better service. Best decision we made for a smooth transfer to and from the train station to our hotel. Both taxis were on time and asked for us by name. Ride was smooth, quick and scenic. Boats were very clean and they loaded and unloaded our bags for us. Made for a stress free experience in a city we hadn’t been to before. Highly recommend!!!

Arrived at Marco Polo airport and found the dock mentioned. The person serving snatched the paper off me when I arrived and the driver of our boat we had been allocated wasn't particularly friendly. For the price of a water taxi I'd expect better manners. Besides this the water taxi was the best way into Venice regardless of the rudeness of the staff.

Easy to schedule but otherwise not something I'd recommend; late arriving and some confusion at the dock, followed by the pilot getting us half way there and then shaking us down for 20 euro for two extra bags. Given the time and extra cost it would have been easier and less expensive to take the public water taxi from the station to our house.

The rudest man i ever met transported us back to the airport on June 1st and has completely put us off returning to Venice. Sadly the only other option is the public waterbuses which is not easy with luggage. They also do not answer their phones. It was a nightmare trying to contact them. An appalling company in a beautiful City...How sad.

We booked online months before our visit, we was greater at the airport and given directions to the pier, we were then guided to our boat. On our return journey the boat arrived on time. On both occasions the coxswains were efficient and helpful. Well worth the money considering the prices else where. Book online for an easy service.

Despite booking a week in advance and arriving exactly at the time booked there was no taxi available. This was midday on a very quiet Feb day. The unhelpful representative had to make calls to get a taxi to come out from Venice which only arrived after a 25 minute wait. Very unreliable and unprofessional service.

We booked the night before our early departure by train. My wife tried to call them but didn't get through. We were worried the taxi wouldn't show up or at least on time to get us to train station. Our taxi showed up not only on time but early. very friendly and got us to our destination early. highly recommend
