My wife and I were extremely impressed with the level of service and attention. They were so kind, helpful and professional. Excellent service delivered efficiently with a smiley face. The questions we asked via email were answered very promptly and completely. The appointment system on the website was easy to use. When we went to the Consulate, our case was handled immediately even though we arrived before the appointment time. The person who addressed our needs was very efficient and helpful and we were done in a matter of minutes. They also answered our questions regarding other topics completely and made recommendations to speed up the process. It is uncommon to expect such a great and professional service at a government office. But the Turkish Consulate General in Miami is an exception. Thank you all!

I drove 5 hours to get to my appointment here and 5 hours to get back. The employees were nice. I was expecting an interview but they just took my documents and told me I will be informed by email about my application. I gave them non-refundable tickets, hotels reservations, travel insurance, employment verification letter, bank statements and so many other documents. A week later I got my passport back without any visa or any letter mentioning if I am approved or rejected. I didn’t even get an email. I emailed them 3-4 times but no one replied. I just wanted to know what’s going on. I paid the visa fee. I should at least get an email saying you are rejected or something. This is not an acceptable behavior! It’s okay. Whatever! I don’t recommend this consulate.

I emailed to make an appointment for natorization letter for myself and to renew my mother's passport. We drove all the way from St Petersburg for 5 hours. However, the staff told me that they only have one reservation for passport renewal. I clearly stated in my email that I need 2 appointments one for my mom and one for myself. I only needed a single letter with couple sentences. It wouldn't take more than 10 minutes to draft it but they refused to do it. I once came here couple years ago for my passport renawal without appointment and the old staff was really hospitable. They took care of it right away. Unfortunately, I can't say the samething for the new staff. I came all the way to Miami for no reason and now I have to come back next month again.

Very unprofessional embassy. They need to fix their attitude and stop acting like they are better than everyone. Turkish government needs to replace this staff. Ive been going here since 2016 when i moved here and everytime i go they have this attitude with them. I work full time and lady tells me to come back because im missing paperwork and i told her i cant and ill just reschedule. She says " people come all the way from Atlanta and Georgia" Why do i need to know this? I dont care about those people and what they do and where they come from. These people need to learn how to treat their citizens when their citizens need them. Stop making them feel like they arent.

We had a great experience today with every employee we encountered. We had an early morning appointment for a notary document and the employees allowed us to take care of a few other things as well. We ended up spending our morning there, but happy to do so since they were so accommodating to our requests. Be sure to take cash to pay the fees. There’s a Chase ATM downstairs, but it was out of order during our visit. We found parking easy at the Publix deck across the street.

The 1-star comments mostly have self-generated negativity towarded at the staff who is working very hard to help everyone out. It feels as if those people come to the consulate with negative expectations and use the first tiny little excuse to completely invalidate the good work here. This consulate is adamants in its mission and vision and the first-woman-appointed consul general is doing an amazing job promoting Turkish values and Turkish-American cooperation in the US.

The consulate people "in person" are very helpful, but it is IMPOSSIBLE to reach them by phone. They even don't pick the phone for "emergency issues". I've been trying to reach them with phone and e-mail for 3 days and NO RESPONSE!! Turkish citizens in the USA, know this, if anything happens you here and you are alone. You won't be able to reach out to the consulate. It's not at all surprising considering the incompetence of the goverment...

I guess a trip to a country starts from their embassy & consulate. Thank you to the great team of Miami Consulate, including security officer, and especially the visa officer Zeynep Karatash for going above and beyond to help me with my last minute visa need. They were so welcoming, nice, helpful and pleasant! I really appreciate all the help and can’t wait to start my trip to our beloved country Turkey!

Absolutely disappointed and disheartened. I didn’t expect such a service from them. I found them uneducated about the basic USCIS system. Got rejected after spending a few hundred dollars and a few weeks. Anyway, I am so mad that I can’t even write. My take away is don't assume they will know a basic thing even if you explained and produced documents for it. Never going to this consulate.

It’s an amazing service, I forgot my Turkish ID which is my fault but Bahter hanim spend big effort to resolve that, unfortunately I had to have my ID to do my work at there but next day Bahter hanim gave me her name without appointment she completed my job politely,I was very proud to be Turkish when I see stuff like her in Turkish Consulate. Thanks again…,

I had a wonderful experience today with the great help of consulate employee İlhan Sefil. They provide an excellent service with their solution-oriented and professional staff. Although Mr. Sefil was in the hospital for family reasons, he gave me his mobile phone and kept in touch with me even outside of working hours. Great service!!

  • Melike Inam

My husband and I found Miami Consulate very hospitable. The security guard offered us Turkish hand sanitizer and greeted us with a big smile. Ms. Bahder was so kind and thorough with all the procedures. She was the sweetest person ever. Amazing service with smiles on their faces all the time!

  • Josh Yoltay

My wife and I were extremely impressed with the level of service and attention. Mrs. Pekgoz was very explanatory, efficient and very polite. She patiently walked us through the process we requested and completed in a most professional manner. Thank you very much to you and your TEAM

  • Atalay Algan

The woman at the front desk is quite rude and disrespectful. She prefers to judge and engage in personal conversations over informing and helping people. It is ludicrous that she tries to dominate people in this way that she gets the power from the small chair she is sitting on.

  • Ismail Kilinc

Park your car in Public Store Paking and enter the Bank Building opposite and on the 27th floor, the Turkish Republic of Consulate is waiting for you. Very good staff trying to help as long as the documents are correct, thank you to the staff.

  • Selda Cayir

  • Djibril Cisse

I had great experience with the consulate. Just get documents in tact and get photocopies of each. Make sure you have appointment before going there. Just be discipline to folllow instructions and that’s all you will be good.

  • Yesim Polar

-5 ⭐️ First time I call a consulate over and over and no one answers. I wonder if Erdogan administration is aware of how poorly this consulate office is operated! …

  • Dilek “Ant” Ant

The stuff is extremely rude. They need to be trained for in person relationships, English language and also customer service as well... Sounds like they hated their jobs.

  • Selina Gerdes
