I’ve travelled a lot around the world and this was one of the worst experiences I ever had and that requires some time here to explain: - First, this is not a hotel! I was told that at check-in by the lady at the reception and it’s in fact the truth. It’s a sports center with some rooms on the basement, it has natural light but it is a level under the street; - The reception and the breakfast area (shared with the kids on the activities at the sports center) is on a different building of the rooms, and because it’s under construction / renovation, the only way to access the rooms is via the exterior, so yes, in the cold and rain to go for breakfast; - after 10pm the close the sports center so you have to walk about 10min around the block on a dark garden to get to the room building, where the door is unattended, meaning everyone can come in at night. Not safe at all; - after 5pm the manager can’t be reached and the reception only has the sports center employee that could take any claims or allow us to cancel the reservation. Had to wait for the morning; - The beds are too soft and uncomfortable, you can see the mattress has a lot of use. Same goes for the floor of the room and the lack of AC on the room that doesn’t work properly; - The common areas are very noisy and very dirty, construction people doesn’t clean at all and leave everything open. That carpets have a weird smell mixed with scents to try to deceive guests; - The staff is very rude, when we politely asked for a solution they said “it is what it is and we can’t notice the world when we will do construction”; - You can’t park at the front door unless you pay the parking. Had to walk under the rain with luggage, makes no sense. - The breakfast is poor, the eggs taste terrible and there are just a few items, no natural juice, no vegetables, just packed products; I never, ever, had the necessity to leave a hotel and I can bare with some unexpected situations but this was totally unacceptable and by far the worst experience I ever had with a hotel. It’s a simple don’t go, if you have budget stay at a better place, if you don’t, stay a little further away since transportation in Luxembourg is free and very good. The pool seemed nice, but busy and doesn’t worth at all the terrible conditions.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with friends but unfortunately we will not be returning. The picture on the web site shows the hotel looking over a lake which was what attracted me but you cannot see the lake from the hotel as its over the other side of the car park surrounded with reeds and bamboo. On arrival we thought we had the wrong place as the entrance looks like the entrance to a shopping centre, further along we saw a hotel sign with people going in. We went in took the lift down followed signs to the reception this took us through corridors which in fact was the basement. When we eventually arrived at the reception desk it was to find that not only was it a hotel but a Community sports arena which it does not stated on the web page. It stages concerts basketball games, with training session during the day. Many other keep fit disciplines are catered for during the day with people attending and practicing through the day. This included the swimming pool with classes for every age and a section sealed of to practice diving.The pool area was very noisy We were not informed by anyone that EVERYTHING closed at 10pm which we discovered when we arrived back at about 10.40p.m. after going out for dinner to find the whole complex in darkness, we walked around the grounds to try to get in, this was a very long walk for some one with walking dificultie and eventually worked out we had to go to the original door. So no nightcap for us. Breakfast was uninspiring, hot food was luke warm, fruit was only replenished on one morning, we had to ask for plates on two mornings. The staff didn't not appear interested in serving people I think we were just a bother. No air conditioning in the bedrooms although they were spotless. Went to go for a swim but it was full of kids because it is open to the public and not a hotel pool. The view out of the bedroom window was onto a grass banking as the rooms were in the basement, So if your going to Luxembourg which is lovely I would not recommend this hotel unless you like noisey kids whilst had your tepid breakfast before you head back to your room in the basement.

I've been to his place at least three times, as far as I can remember, and each time stayed between three and seven days. Being myself a longtime very persistent swimmer since decades ago, I go there because of the 50m pool (it's really for swimmers, really, water temperature is below 23), I'd advise people to call the swimming pool own administration (it's a dedicated line, different from the hotel's) to know exactly the opening hours for swimmers (with dedicated lanes) during the chosen days. Bad reviews about this place are very dishonest, here is why: - first, this is not a hotel strictly speaking. The rooms have been originally created to accommodate athletes coming for contests, and it is still such just that they rent them when there's no competition in order to optimise their cost - the "hotel", if there's such a word for it, is worth each and every cent. I challenge anyone to find a decent room 5 min from the city (walk + tram) at such a price. Not only it doesn't exist in Luxembourg City, but it doesn't in any comparable city in the world - rooms are always clean, super clean, super quiet, the bathroom super decent, the beds in excellent condition - especially late at night it's a bit eery, you feel a little bit on your own. Hence the price. Well, try any BnB (there aren't almost any around, actually, and if there's any it's far, far away from the city. About 5 minutes walking distance from it, you'll find for instance a Sofitel, 200 pp per night, min), like Formule1 or the like, and then you will love this place. Voilà. If you plan to stay in Luxembourg for a while but on a budget, it's by far and large your best shot, just that you need to book it long, long before. Months. It's always full for a reason. And don't forget to ask for the accurate swimming pool's opening hours for swimmers (doing laps), e.g. if there's any contest going on you're good for enjoying ... other pools and this beautiful city.

What an absolute shambles of a hotel!! I love travelling and usually do not bother with a hotel again if it's bad, hotels also have bad days right?! However this hotel has left such a bad taste in my mouth, I wouldn't want my worst enemy to stay there!! NEVER EVER!!before arrival we checked websites to find out days of sports activities and none conflicted with our days so we were sure we could use the pool area, sauna and other areas of the hotel! However upon arrival we were told there was a sporting activity so the pool area is out of bounds and the wellness centre is opened but it's €12 which was fine, then we get told we have to be totally naked to use it!!! WHAT?!errm we don't remember anything like that on the website!which meant no pool and no wellness centre, why in Gods name would we pay for a hotel out of town to be confined in our rooms! Some called management to seek assistance... no management on a Saturday?! The receptionist sent down the cleaner to 'deal' with us cos she's the only one manning the Entire hotel. Service -poor, management-extra poor , dealing with complaints- non-existence!! NEVER EVER AGAIN, IF YOU ENJOY GOOD SERVICE AND PEACE, IT IS NOT THE HOTEL

Tram juste en face de l’hôtel, donc point très positif même s’il faut monter pleins de marches avant d’arriver dans l’hôtel (en valise ce n’est pas le top). En fait l’hôtel se trouve dans un complexe sportif. C’est pas très facile d’accès car il faut passer par l’accueil qui se trouve dans le complexe sportif et sortir dehors pour accéder aux chambres. Il faut vraiment beaucoup marcher pour aller jusqu’aux chambres parce que même pour prendre le petit déjeuner il faut tout traverser. Le soir le complexe est fermé donc il faut carrément faire tout tout le tour du complexe pour aller jusqu’aux chambres. Environ 7-8 minutes de marche. Nous avons pris une chambre pour 3 nuits. Une chambre avec deux lits simples. Coussins beaucoup trop mou et le lit aussi… beaucoup beaucoup trop mou. On se pose dessus on écrase carrément le matelas (pourtant je ne fais que 50kgs…). Sinon à part ça globalement la chambre est bien et est rangée tous les jours. Petit déjeuner compris dans le prix donc bien. Petit déjeuner très simple. Hôtel pas incroyable avec pas mal de défauts quand même.

Komisch aufgeteiltes Hotel! Aber das liegt wohl einfach an der Art des Hauses. Erinnert eher an eine Sporthalle (ist ja auch teilweise eine). Es kommt keine Hotelstimmung auf. Was aber gar nicht geht : Ich habe dieses Hotel extra wegen dem Wellness Bereich gebucht und mehr bezahlt, als andere Hotels gekostet hätten. Dann heisst es an der Rezeption letzter Einlass 19.00 Uhr! Das ist natürlich arg früh für ein Wellness Bereich eines Hotels. Was auch nicht geht, sind Getränkeautomaten die nicht funktionieren da Sie einfach aus sind....Billiard Tische die wohl nur als Deko dumm in der Gegend stehen und als letztes: 1 Stunde bevor das Frühstück zu Ende war gab es kein einziges Brötchen mehr und das Hotel war fast leer.....dafür 10 glutenfreie Brötchen? Für das Geld echt mieser Service. Achja Sonntags war die Rezeption einfach geschlossen und die Tür zu. Nur mit Glück kam dann ein Wachmann und machte die Tür auf und nahm den Schlüssel entgegen. Bin sehr enttäuscht.

Via booking.com hier verbleven. Echt een sporthotel en geen normaal hotel. Het hotel mist echt sfeer en je waant je in een sportcomplex in plaats van een hotel. Personeel spreekt ook Engels. Kamers zijn redelijk. Onze douchekop gaf bijna geen water. Bedden zijn prima en slapen goed. Inchecken verliep zeer moeizaam vanwege vele formulieren die ingevuld moesten worden en een erg kritische medewerker. Dat was geen goede ontvangst. Ontbijt was best eenvoudig maar wel vers. Gratis tram voor de deur om naar de stad te gaan. Betreft dus een redelijk hotel maar zonder charme en uitstraling. Ook werd er nog verbouwd, was er een feest boven gaande. Al met al was de algehele indruk maar matig. De buitenkant van het hotel is wel modern en mooi.

Ein wirklich tolles Hotel mit viel Platz, auch in den Fluren. Dort gibt es sogar Beschäftigungszonen (Billard). Selten erlebt man wirklich so saubere Hotelzimmer. Für einen "Sheldon" wie mich war das eine Wohltat, denn ich hatte wirklich nichts zu beanstanden. Man kann das eigene Kissen zu Hause lassen. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Danke. Hier wird seh viel Wert darauf gelegt, dass sich der Gast wohl fühlt. Da es ein Hotel mit Sportveranstaltungen ist, muss man mit Geräuschkulisse bis in den Abend mal rechnen. Ansonsten ist es absolut ruhig in den Zimmern.

Selon moi l'un des pires hôtels du Luxembourg...acceuil difficile a trouver, accès chambre très compliqué via un accès a l'extérieur, chambre en sous sol, literie beaucoup trop molle, pas de clim avec seulement petite ouverture de fenêtre qui donne sur une pente a éviter en canicule pas d'air, bruit de chambre incessant, réveil par travaux perceuse etc, déco des couloir très sobre pour ne pas dire inexistante, petit déjeuner assez sympa d'où les 2 étoiles mais il faut activé le personnel pour qu'il remplisse le buffet qu'il peine à vouloir faire à seulement 8h50... bon séjour à ceux qui réserve après à voir lu ce commentaire des plus sérieux

Service: 1 star. Room service on weekends only available until 6pm. Staff was not friendly during our entire stay. Rooms: 3 stars. Good, clean, spacious rooms. A typical 3-star hotel room I would say. The only downside: there’s no way to adjust the air conditioning; no door lock knob from inside the room. Location: 4 stars. Pools and sauna: was available during our stay, but booking was necessary and there was no available time slots. So I can’t rate them. Breakfast: 3 stars. Simple, but tasty. Good portion. General comments: corridors from reception to rooms are long. Rooms are in the basement of the sports center. It does not feel like a hotel. Rather, it’s a sports center with some rooms in the basement.

Die Männer an der Rezeption sind sehr unfreundlich!!! Die Frau an der Rezeption ist sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Aber die Zimmer sind sehr schön und die Betten sind bequem. Auch das Frühstück und Abendessen hat sehr geschmackofatzt. Bitte bring den Leuten an der Rezeption ein bisschen Disziplin bei und sagt ihnen sie sollen respektvoll zu allen sein (besonders den Kindern). Ich hoffe beim nächsten Besuch werden die Mitarbeiter ausgetauscht sein oder wenigstens freundlich zu mir sein und mich nicht "dumm" nennen, nur weil ich nach der Adresse des Hotels gefragt habe...

J'ai bloqué une chambre pendant seulement 2 heures avec ma réservation et dû à un changement intern dans la société, j'ai dû annuler la réservation. Malheureusement j'avais pas cliquer sur "possibilité d'annulation". J'ai demander vu que la réservation était à peine arrivée dans la boîte mail en réception d'hôtel, s'il y aurai possibilité de m'annuler la chambre sans frais, mais non j'ai quand même eu une nuits à payer. Alors attention, le service client n'est pas du tout serviable, si la chambra aurai été réservée pendant toute une semaine, je l'aurais compris, mais pas 2 heures.

Das Hotel ist im Centre National Sportif et Culturel d'Coque, einem riesigen Sport und Kulturzentrum integriert. Direkt vor der Türe hat man Anbindung an die Tram in Richtung Luxexpo, von wo aus man in jede Richtung mit dem Bus starten kann, oder in Richtung Innenstadt/Hauptbahnhof. Aber auch das Kirchberg-Plateau auf dem das Center errichtet ist bietet vieles was entdeckt werden will. So ist in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft das EU-Parlament beheimatet. Einmal Autoabstellen und los, Bus und Bahn sind kostenlos. Aber auch wer abends seine Ruhe sucht kann in den Zimmern entspannen.

came here for a business trip and chose the hotel because of it's headline "Combining fitness, wellness, and business in the heart of Luxembourg." I checked in a 5pm and judge by my dissapointment that neither pool, nor gym, nor resturant is avaialble. Until noon (noon!) the next day. I've never heard about a hotel which doesn't have a gym past 5pm on Sunday. Even less a hotel which brands itself as POLL and GYM in the headline. In addition, I was places in the basement where neither wifi or phone reception was working. So not much of the 'business' either.

Réception limite aimable. Chambre grande et propre. Lit inconfortable oreiller mauvais. Douche cassée. Impossible de se doucher correctement. Pas assez de pression d eau. Petit-déjeuner à des kilomètres. Buffet de qualité très moyenne avec personnel quasiinexistant. J étais coincé dans l ascenseur plus de 10 minutes. Aucune excuse de la part de la réception. Des couloirs sombrent et sans fin. Conclusion, une auberge de jeunesse luxueuse mais pas un hotel 3 étoiles.

Un superbe séjour de 2 nuits en couple. On en est parti dans un esprit zen et relax. Les avis négatifs sont injustifiés selon moi. Le petit déjeuner était copieux même si peu rempli vers 8h45 - 9h. (Il y avait encore suffisamment). Seul bémol, lors du départ, la femme blonde de l'accueil très froide. (Pas un bonjour, pas de merci et encore moins un "Votre séjour s'est bien passé?" ou "Au plaisir de vous revoir chez nous". Dans ce cadre hôtelier, ça aurait un minimum.

Très belle hôtel, chambre propre et classe ( problème de connexion télé, obligé de faire intervenir la maintenance 2 fois car la télé ne voulait pas fonctionner correctement ) on a demandé de nous changer de chambre impossible aucun geste pour le désagrément . Idéal pour ceux qui aiment la natation. Énorme piscine olympique chauffée. Petit-déjeuner parfait et varié. Pour l'espace pas détente c'est accessible uniquement dévêtue. Emplacement parfait à 10 minutes en tram du centre ville. Parking juste devant l'hôtel à un prix correcte. Belle chambre spacieuse mais bruillante à cause de l'aération dans la salle de bain qui ne s'arrête jamais. Nous sommes un couple et avons eu 2 twins bed au lieu d'un king size, c'est dommage vu qu'ils ont vu que l'on était un couple au check in.

Ein Gebäude in dem man kein Hotel erwartet. Check-In war gut zu finden (wenn man lesen kann). Freundlicher Empfang, sogar auf deutsch. Das Hotel liegt am anderen Ende des Gebäudes, was aber überhaupt nicht schlimm ist. Das Zimmer ist groß und wirkt insgesamt aufgeräumt. Die Lage des Hotels ist super, da man von hier aus überall schnell hinkommen kann.

Sehr große, saubere Zimmer, die allerdings im Keller gelegen sind. Reichhaltiges, leckeres kostenloses Frühstücks Buffett und auch kostenlose Schwimmbad besuche möglich. Hotel bietet auch viele weitere kostenpflichtige Sport- und Saunaangebote. Im Hotel gibt es auch noch verschiedene Restaurants. Das Hotel liegt auf dem Kirchberg, bis zum Stadtzentrum sind es mit dem nur wenige Meter vom Hotel entfernten Bus ca. 15 Minuten. Ich würde jederzeit wieder das Hotel buchen.

Beautiful hotel however, there was no air conditioning in the room or a fan, and the temperature at 30 degrees made me almost unable to sleep. Hydro, gym, etc. all closed. The restaurant inside the hotel is very bad. I only had dinner there once, never again. At breakfast, the people in the restaurant are very rude.

Hotel ist direkt neben einer Tram Haltestelle. Zimmer in Ordnung. Frühstück war eher schwierig. Rühreier oder was das sein sollte, Schinken und Käse hat nicht geschmeckt. Die Zeitangaben für Frühstückeier kochen sind komplett daneben. Mussten die Eier wegwerfen. Es gab zwei Kaffeemaschinen. Aus einer hat der Kaffee gut geschmeckt, aus der anderen war er bitter. Der Bacon, Brot und Brötchen waren sehr gut

Worst hotel experience I have had. This state-owned and managed hotel reflects really badly on Luxembourg. The staff aren't trained in customer service or hotel management and have no idea how to treat people with respect or courtesy. The rooms are located in a bunker at the back. Unsecure and unsafe. We stayed for 1 night. The hotel is inside the Coque Sportshall and has no proper indicated reception. People at reception were helpful, you can store luggage when arriving early or leaving later. The rooms are quite big and have all amnesties needed. Rooms are all located in 1 long hallway. The breakfast was really good. Hotels in Luxembourg are expensive and this hotel had a good relation price\quality.

Kamer was erg vies. Ranzige WC, er lag overal haar op de vloer. Spinnenwebben in de hoeken. Er wordt duidelijk niet of te gehaast gestofzuigd. Zwembad was gesloten. Als je naar meerdere reviews kijkt kun je concluderen dat die 90% van de tijd gesloten is. Klein pluspuntje is het grote parkeertrein dat nog niet eens zo duur is.

Funcionários da recepção não são amigáveis, o wifi não é uma conexão privada do hotel, é a rede pública de Internet de Luxemburgo ( Hot spot.lu) que funciona precariamente. Os quartos são super longe da recepção. Mais parece um hostel para quem vai lá fazer esporte, nada a ver com um hotel para quem vai a trabalho.

This isn't a Hotel it's a sportshal with room to spare in the basement, moisture in the shower, spider webs in the room and no heat prevention at all. To make it even worse when you go to the front desk (which is in another part of the building) they just laugh at you if you ask them for any help or information.

A fairly new hotel, integrated with a sports center. Accommodation is a standard 3-star hotel with no degradation whatsoever. However, from the hotel reception to the rooms, one has to so through the outside of the facilities. Breakfast is on a mezzanine at the main building, i.e. in the center of the sports center, which can be a bit crowded during sports events.

Je n'ai pas kiffé l'hôtel dans un gymnase.. Les logements hybride non merci.. Endroit froid et impersonnel.. Faut prendre un Uber pour rejoindre les chambres ou aller au petit déjeuner

Good value for money. But be conscious this a large public sports complex, with a handful of hotel rooms in the basement - rather than a resort hotel. E.g. we were disappointed to learn that the pool already closes at 17:00 on Sunday and the restaurant is not open for dinner. Large, clean rooms but aircon would have been nice.

Mooie ruime kamer en badkamer, maar het hotel zit wat raar in elkaar. De receptie en de kamers liggen +/- 100m. uit elkaar. Van de kamer naar het ontbijt is ook weer een 150m. wandeling. Toen wij kwamen was het zwembad gesloten, een restaurant dicht. Plusje voor de (ti jdelijk) gratis tram naar het centrum.

Over from London, not impressed. Bedrooms not great, dark and poky, they are below ground level, not really situated in the sports complex but near. Customer service awful. No one works at weekends. Should of read other reviews before booking

Centro benessere, fitness e piscina molto ben organizzato e spazi confortevoli per assicurare la possibilità di un relax assoluto! Costo di 20 euro a persona con personale attento a suggerire il miglior percorso da fare!Molto bella la camera del ghiaccio con tanta bella neve!

Its an okay place, the rooms where clean, very spacious, they clean them everyday, went during spring, not too much activities around, close to several bus stops, wierd to get around it, the reception isnt always open, had to leave early so had to leave the key in the room.

Zimmer ohne Klimagerät mit zwei zusammengestellten Betten. Angesprochene Probleme im Zimmer wurden ignoriert. Frühstück: nix wahnsinniges aber akzeptabel.

Sehr geräumige und moderne Zimmer. Super sauber! Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Tram ist direkt vor der Tür. Ziemlich weitläufiges Gelände, manchmal etwas verwirrt und nachts ist die Tür auf der Tramseite geschlossen und man muss außen herum.

Stayed here for 2 nights and Loved my experience! The rooms are great and the service too. Breakfast is very nice with great choices to choose from. Really recommend this Hotel

Très bien situé pour départ vers centre-ville. Transports gratuits. Parking hôtel payant 12 eu pour 24 hs. Petits déjeuners copieux. Pas vu d'accessibilité pour personnes à mobilité réduite. Chambres confortables. Pas de salon ni de bar.

Très bien, accueil très professionnel et chaleureux, des explications très claires. Une chambre spacieuse, propre avec tout le confort (café, eau pétillante frigo..). Une salle de bain superbe, spacieuse et fonctionnelle. Je recommande.

Stanze grandi e pulite. Colazione soddisfacente ma migliorabile. L'entrata dell'hotel poco segnalata e soprattutto lontana dalla reception: si deve uscire dall'edificio per raggiungere una porta nascosta che porta alle camere.

Belles petites chambres dans un complexe sportif... un wellness très agréable à prix réduit si on loge à l'hôtel... très propre, calme, ... a conseiller pour une petite détente pendant ce confinement qui n'en fini pas

Très facile au coeur du kirchberg, grand parking, confort au rendez vous pour séjour d affaire c est parfait, mais un peu aseptisé si sejour loisir... sauf pour les sportifs qui seront comblés...

Probably one of the very few three star hotels with an olympic-size pool. Close to European institutions and public transport. Ample parking and EV-charging.

Mooie kamers met een hoog plafond. Netjes afgewerkt, lekkere zachte handdoeken. Verder heeft het hotel geen sfeer omdat er geen centraal gedeelte is.

50m pool, great for a swim after work or at lunch. Also visited café upstairs. Good food, fair prices. Loads more sports facilities I didn't use.

Big rooms and spacious parking. But hotel is side business of sport center, reception and restaurant are too far from rooms. A lot of labyrinths.
