This is the only exclusively Original Version cinema that I know in Stuttgart and around, so some considerations have to be made. There are two small theaters with comfortable seats all in the same level; no stadium-style disposition. Theater 1 is bigger and has a larger screen than Theater 2. Seats cannot be selected in advance so make sure to arrive on time; long lines can happen even one hour before the showing, specially for recent, highly expected releases. Tickets can be reserved online and are guaranteed until 20 min before the movie starts, but tickets seldom sell out; you can check how many are left when reserving online. They are a bit less expensive than everywhere else and there are reduced prices everyday for students and on Tuesdays for everyone, as is customary. One can also get full-size posters from recent movies and other memorabilia. Overall, the experience cannot be compared to the big cinemas that only show German-dubbed movies. But the image and sound are very high quality, the theaters are clean, the popcorn is good, the snack options are plenty and there's just this feeling of care and love of movies from the owners.

Corso Cinema International specializes in English OV (Original Version) movies. The films are NOT English subtitles with German voiceovers. This kino (movie theater) is underground with two screens so it only plays two movies at a time but they stagger their schedule for a lot of different movies throughout the day. Corso seems to get new releases around the same time as their opening weekend back in the United States and sometimes even sooner with early showings. The seats don’t recline and they don’t have cup holders. But the seats are comfortable and spacious. I don’t recall armrests but there is a counter shelf behind the seat in front of you to place your drink, snacks, cell phone, etc. The staff is nice and there is a wide variety of reasonably priced snacks and glass bottled beverages. I think the staff even lets people have old movie posters for free but maybe they sell them. Did I mention the movies are all in English?

Perfect place for those looking to see a movie in the area. They keep a rotation of newly released movies and older ones. You’re able to reserve or purchase seats on their website; however, seat selection is not an option. The seats are first-come, first-serve but I’ve never had a trouble finding a good seat. Good selection of drinks (alcoholic/non-alcoholic) and various snacks. Good popcorn with the option for those powered toppings which are self-serve. It’s a combination of those theater chains back in the states and a classic movie theatre. Great place to see your movies in English (OV). Highly recommend seeing a movie here

We had a great time at this little theater. There are only 2 screens, they don't take cards, so bring cash for tickets and snacks. The popcorn was very fresh and nicely salted. The seats are comfy and there is a little bar in front of you to hold your drinks, phone, snacks, etc. There are also booster seats for kids. Seats and booster seats are first come, first served so get there a little early to get the best spot. The screen seems small at first (especially compared to American theaters), but you really don't notice after the movie starts. Also, free bathrooms!

Expats rejoice! A movie theater that plays all English titles, with no subtitles. Germans know English better than I do! Really though, the best popcorn I have ever had at a movie theater - not too much butter, perfect amount of salt, and super crunchy . Theater seats are comfortable but not top of the line. But all seats except front row have a shelf for food and drinks. Movies are 8.5 Euro and a bucket (largest) popcorn and a drink are about 7 Euro. Sound system is good. Open seating though so if you come with a big group go a bit early.

Reihe) - passt soweit, aber sorry: Ein Stern Abzug für leider zu wenig Parkplätze an einem Wochentag - und ich glaube die 3, max 4 Stellplätze hinterm Haus sind nicht von Besuchern genutzt ( wir waren um 16.25 im Kino - vor uns nur 2 Personen…) sehr schade könnte man mE kontrollieren … Parkhaus um die Ecke - 5 € halt …

Kleines Kino, von der Einrichtung wie die Kinos meiner Kindheit. Angenehme Atmosphäre und die Leute hinter der Theke waren sehr nett. Vor dem Filmanfang kam sehr wenig Werbung. Die Sitze sind niedrig, weiter vorne hat das dann für mich gepasst, aber sollte man beachten. Wären jetzt noch Leute vor mir gewesen, weiß ich nicht, ob ich was gesehen hätte (bin klein). Die Leinwand ist jetzt nicht riesig wie in manch anderen Kinos, aber das als auch die Tonqualität sind für mich ausreichend. Wir waren zufrieden und kommen wieder :)

Nettes kleines, plüschiges Programmkino, das ausschließlich Originale mit Untertiteln zeigt, weshalb es bei den Stadtteilbewohnern "das englische Kino" genannt wird, obwohl es kein anderes Kino in Vaihingen gibt. Es gibt Eintrittsermäßigung u.a. für Studenten, Tickets sind online und vor Ort erhältlich, Bar- und Kartenzahlung möglich. An der Kasse sind auch Getränke und kleine süße und salzige Snacks erwerbbar. Nicht rollstuhlgerecht, sehr saubere Toiletten!

As English speakers with very limited German, we love the Corso. Two screens... one is small and the other is tiny... but they have nice "tables" for movie snacks... and they always show the latest movies, always in English (no need to check)... and the previews are also all in English with no commercials. You can reserve your tickets for free, and after the movies there are several very nice dining options within one or two blocks.

Love this place! I have been going there since I was a student at Uni Stuttgart. All movies with original Soundtrack. The staff is super nice, everything is neat and clean. Now you can directly buy the tickets online, works super good and return of money in case of cancellation is duper fast (own experience). The only downside is the parking situation. I recommend parking on Marketplatz... You will pay probably 5€ for parking.

Bad customer behaviour. We are in front of the door to buy the film, and have no idea the at they will open before the movie 30min. We try to wave or look if somebody inside. 1 lady opened the door with an unfriendly face and complained “we open 30min before movie, so wait” Hey lady, as we are here the first time, could you please so KIND and treat us in the customer-oriented behaviour please! I am so surprised with this lady!

Kleines aber feines Kino, für Leute, die Filme lieber unsynchronisiert in der Originalfassung schauen. Der Bildschirm war leider etwas klein und man hätte sich in der Lobby noch einen kleinen Wartebereich gewünscht. So musste man entweder noch eine Runde spazieren gehen oder sich auf die Treppe setzen. Der Rest war sehr gut. Freundliches und achtsames Personal und gute Soundqualität während des Films.

Freie Platzwahl in einem Kino ist finde ich eher nervig da Zeitdruck entsteht vorzeitig da zu sein um an Ende nicht auf den schlechten Plätzen zu sitzen. Weiterhin ist die Leinwand so arrangiert das man stets nach oben schauen musste und den Kopf in den Nacken legen musste. Es hat einen Grund warum Kinossitze eben mit der Leinwand angelegt sind damit man schön ergonomisch gerade aus schauen kann.

I love it that they offer plenty of films in OV (original version) and fresh salty popcorn! The table in front of your seat is also a nice touch. The only down side for me is that the theaters are not very well isolated for sound, so you can often hear sounds from the other theater during the show. Overall, one of the best (and often only) places to catch quality cinema in the original language.

It's a little theater in a basement. It has two screens. They show 2D and 3D movies. The staff is friendly and always helpful. The movie and sound quality is really good. The theater itself is almost froze in time. The price for a ticket is under most other theaters. There are no assignments for the seats. It's first come first serve. I recommend to be there 30min before to get the seat u want.

Das Kino ist zwar klein, aber man kann hier die Filme in Originalsprache sehen. Ich vergebe leider nur 4 Punkte, da man hier zwar Tickets reservieren kann, aber keinen Platz. Wenn man also 30 Minuten vor Filmbeginn da ist und man Pech hat, weil viele schon vor einem da sind, dann sitzt man halt in den ersten reihen und wenn man ganz großes Pech hat, nicht mal neben den begleiteten Personen.

Good Experience, the cinema was great. The screen was a bit smaller than what you'd expect in normal Cinemas but I was very happy to find one which screens movies in their orignals language so it wasn't that big of a problem for me. Affordable prices, and they also have the standard snacks. They have an open seating concept so get there ahead time to get a better seat.

I have been coming to this theater for two years after coming to the Stuttgart area. This is a great theater for English movies in their original format and the staff is very friendly and kind. The seating is comfortable. There is a decent selection of fresh popcorn, and some boozy drinks that make this a wonderful theater for Americans living in the Stuttgart area.

Cinema with 2 small but cozy theaters. Most movies are shown in their original version. Audio and video in good quality, although I thought the screen small. Lovely staff. Ticket value is the standard of other movie theaters. The only negative point is that I can not appoint the seat. The staff there recommended arrive 20, 30 minutes before to choose good seats.

One, if not the only cinemas in and around Stuttgart to show movies in original language/English. Unfortunately, they don't offer freshly made, SWEET popcorn, only packed sweet popcorn, which for me personally is a huge downer for cinematic enjoyment. They do offer freshly made salted popcorn though. Else sound, picture, seats are all good, so thumbs up! Enjoy!

Süßes Kino mit sehr nettem Personal. Schön, dass hier die Filme in Originalton kommen. Wen nicht stört, dass die Säle ein wenig kleiner sind und auch die Bestuhlung ein wenig zu flach ist, der ist hier genau richtig. Wichtig zu erwähnen ist noch, dass es keine Platzkarten gibt, was bisher aber noch nie ein Problem war. Das Publikum ist meist sehr angenehm!

Cute little cinema with everything you need for a fun film experience. Comfortable seats, good view and quirky popcorn flavours. The prices are fine and it's just a short walk to the tram station. So much better than the once-a-week English film at the other cinemas. If you want a film in the original version I wholeheartedly recommend this place !

Another reason I'm not learning German as quickly as I'd like to. Who knew I'd have an English language movie theater 200 meters from my place in Germany? The place is very clean, quaint and a very friendly staff. It reminds me of a small movie theater I went to as a child in the states. Everytime I go here it puts a smile on my face.thank you.

Ein richtig gemütliches kleines Kino mit Filmen in Originalversion. Gefällt mir persönlich besser, als die großen Kinopaläste. Preise sind trotz der eher kleinen Zielgruppe auf der günstigen Seite. Klare Empfehlung für Leute, die keine Leinwand größer als ein Fußballfeld brauchen. Der Sound ist zumindest für mich besser als in Großen Kinos.

Mein Lieblingskino in Stuttgart. Filme laufen nur in Englisch, was meiner Meinung nach eh viel besser ist. Es gibt leckeres frisches salziges Popcor. Das Einzige was nicht ganz perfekt ist, ist das man nur bar zahlen kann und es freie Sitzwahl gibt. Aber vor allem ist der Ticket Preis sehr günstig. Ich gehe immer wieder sehr gerne hin!

Ein gemütliches kleines Kino, das vorwiegend Filme im Original spielt. Trotz der geringen Größe aber sehr gute Projektionstechnik, Sound, Sitze mit hohen Rückenlehnen (ich selbst bin 1,91m und hatte bis über den Nacken, Lehne) und vor den Sitzen ist Ablagefläche für Snacks und Getränke. Gut durchdacht, top Filmauswahl, gefällt!

The best thing is, they play everything and always Original Version (English) Screen Nummer 2 is not huge but good enough, seats are comfy with a small table in front… lots of variety of drinks but expensive, same as any other cinema in Stuttgart. Its ok no allotted seats sit where its free; only snacks like popcorn beverages candies chips etc nothing to fill stomach eat in nearby restaurants if expecting a lite meal. I dint find the seats comfortable especially for someone who has seen world class cinema hall in India this is definitely very basic!

Schnuckeliges, kleines Kino! Das Personal ist super freundlich, die Snack und Getränke Auswahl besser als in großen Kinos und die Sitze sind wirklich bequem! Außerdem ist die Stimmung sehr entspannt, was wohl an der Englischsprachigen Audienz liegt. Gut mit den ÖPNV zu erreichen und die Preise sind fair.

I love the Corso Cinema! This is such a great place to watch movies in English. The staff at this cinema are so kind and helpful. The cinema and snacks are super affordable - and a great selection. I personally love the seats and the shelf to rest your snacks/drinks on. I highly recommend this theater!!!

Immer wieder schön hier zu sein, super freundliche Mitarbeiter, super Auswahl an Snacks und es laufen gute Filme, auch immer wieder extra Aktionen mit älteren Filmen. Wir kommen sehr gerne hierher! Einziger Nachteil: Kaum Parkplätze in der Nähe, das Parkhaus Vaihinger Markt daneben ist relativ teuer.

This small Cinema is fantastic! The theater is very small and sells out quickly, so make sure you get there ahead of time. The concessions were very affordable and they sell beer! The movies they show are in the original language, which is really nice because they play lots of movies in English!

Very good international cinema in Stuttgart. They usually have all of the latest movies in their original audio. The prices are reasonable and the staff is extremely friendly. They have very good popcorn. The only downside is that the halls are a bit small but the overall ambience is great.

Great place to watch original versions of US movies. They do have a military discount if you ask. The big theater has good seating and it is convenient to get to. Small but good. Good selection of beer to watch with the movie as well. I would highly suggest going here versus going on post.

We've been coming here for 10+ years and enjoy it every time. It's a bit small, but it's everything you need in a movie theater. Tickets are super affordable in comparison to larger cinemas and even the snacks and drinks are very fairly priced. So thankful to have Corso in the area!

Seeing movies at Corso is one of our favorite pastimes. All the movies are in English, the seats are comfortable and plush, it is small and intimate, there is a good selection of snacks, and the staff is really nice. We will keep going as long as we are living in Germany.

Amazing theatre and expereince to watch a movie! The shows so far I have seen were all in English, so I assume everytime it puts up only English shows and this is really great!! I highly recommend this theatre for a good and comfortable movie experience!

Cozy cinema. We were greeted by a group of really friendly staff. We felt immediately comfortable. Like going to watch a movie at a friends place. Spacious seats. Not the most modern luxurious place but a really well maintained cinema with a great vibe.

Best English cinema in town, yes it's small but who needs imax when Corso has all this awesome atmosphere. Popcorn is great it even has different seasonings for every taste (my favorite thing about Corso) Great place to go, I can only recommend! :)

Great job checking for G2+. Nice current movies and snack options. People in the theater in and out with big lights at the door and on their phones and toddlers on iPads during moving not so great. This distraction took away from the movie.

Has a nostalgic old time cinema feeling to. You get to pick your own seats and some relaxing jazz plays while you wait for the movie to begin. However the snack options are sparsely and the popcorn sometimes taste stale and oversalted.

Very nice cinema located in the outskirts of Stuttgart. Places are taken on a first come first served criteria. They have a wide choice of snacks and a good service at the front desk. This is a good option for internationals

Sehr cool, dass man hier Filme auf Englisch gucken kann! Popcorn waren OK, hätten aber etwas süßer sein dürfen. Dafür ist positiv, dass jede Sitzreihe ein kleines Tischbrett hat. Wünschenswert wären noch Kuschelsitze.
