Hello y'all... I've always been a French toast kinda guy, but let me tell you Counter Cafe made me cross over to Pancake goodness... You gotta try their (pancakes) and please go there hungry, did I mentioned the pancake covers nearly the whole plate? If I may add, the breakfast tacos are delicious! More

Good crabcakes Benedict. I like that they added lemon in the hollandaise sauce. However, the potatoes were a bit too salty and $17 seems pricey for this. We also ordered the grapefruit juice, which tasted very fresh. I also felt that it was overpriced at $5 a cup.

Stopped in at Counter Cafe today for a bite. I had the biscuits and sausage gravy with a side of scrambled eggs made to perfection. The gravy was okay, filling but not sausage gravy. Kevin waited on me and was very attentive. I said at the

First and for sure last time coming here. Seems like a place where if this is your breakfast place it's a good place. You can tell there was once a lot of love here but it's now lost. Pancakes were spongy, and cold by the time I got it and

We had brunch here today and the food was mostly excellent, and the service friendly and quick. Our group of 5 had a variety of selections and as far a I could see it was all really good. I had the Counter burger which was so good but the

Today we ordered to go for some new employees and the service was good but the food was not too good and very salty. We ordered 2 veggie burgers, sweet potatoes and regular fries, and the soup, salad with a half sandwich. The burgers were

Sat at the counter and had a great view of our food getting made. I loved what I had but was also immediately envious of all the other plates I saw getting made. The biscuit was tender and fluffy, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and the

I love a good biscuit and here they’re soft and pillowy. I got the Counter Benedict dish and the combination of perfect poached eggs and soft biscuit with hollandaise was goodness to my heart. Potatoes were alright. The mimosa is really

I am in Austin on business and was looking for a place to grab lunch. I happened upon this little cafe and was not disappointed! The service was so welcoming and attentive. The food was cooked and prepared in front of me and everything

All I can say is WOW! Our experience and service was impeccable. From the moment we were greeted we felt welcome and right at home. The ambiance was amazing as well as the staff. From the host to every person we interacted with gave us

Not a pet friendly environment, even as an ADA Service Dog. My sister was embarrassed and humiliated by the ignorance of the host/owner not knowing federal laws. Crazy thing is we have eaten at this establishment previously, with her

One of the best burgers in Austin TX! Great french fries too! Staff is really friendly and helpful. I always order the counter burger and it never disappoints. Great bun, high quality ground beef, and fresh veggies. Delicious! More

In Austin for work, rest and relaxation and tumbled into this casual looking cafe. We both had a delicious breakfast experience! I got the Chilaquiles which included eggs, potatoes and beans topped with an avocado. Super yummy!

First of all, best pancake we have ever had! Crab cake Benedict was the bomb! Bloody mary was on point! Michelada was delicious! And the yellowbird jalapeno hot sauce made it perfect! Will definitely be coming back!! More

The coffee is rich and deep and I loved it. I had lots of it. The crab cake was all crab and no cake. Just the way I like it. Eggs were runny. Hollandaise sauce was tasty. Joe’s Special was standard but acceptable.

Food is pretty good, but the wait staff is slow and host stand is very confusing. Almost never get coffee refills and if you’re ordering hot cakes they take about 10+ more minutes than the rest of the food. More

Great find! Small cafe in a great location. The counter Benedict was delicious and fulfilling. There is limited seating due to how small the location is, but the wait isn’t awfully long as one would expect.

I had the steak and eggs, pretty good! My only issue is there was some eggshell in my eggs, but I didn’t want to make an issue of it. Other than that everything was great. Keep up the good work!

You have to visit this place if you want to hear some awesome americana/country/bluegrass music by The McKinleys. They are there every Sat and Sun at 9AM. Highly recommend their music! More

Wow. Absolutely fantastic food here. Definitely worth every penny. The blueberry pancakes were the best I’ve ever had. My sons loved everything they had.

Another great spot. This is a small location with limited seating inside and out so if you're trying to brunch here, right now, I'd go early
