Disappointing experience as a crazy nail regular, terrible customer service from nail tech Linda and Kim! I normally come for acrylic fills and I have no problem when it comes to who does my nails, I’m not picky nor complain about little things like the way the shape turned out, but I find I run into these issues when it comes to the nail tech Linda, it could be the simplest thing to wanting a square shape and she’ll round the edges after I’ve explained numerous times to keep the square straight but today I walked in for my normal fill and requested black shellac polish when they were finished and the topcoat was curing I noticed iridescent sparkles, I was trying to figure out if It was coming from the black polish or the topcoat because I never requested sparkles and Linda proceeded to say there’s no sparkles, it’s the light or I’m not seeing them I asked another worker to take a look to show that there was indeed sparkles. I’ve ran into this issue with linda before not informing me the solid colour I’ve chose had Iridescent sparkles in it, that’s not good for business If the customer thinks they’re getting one thing and you’re giving them something completely different. I came to the conclusion that the topcoat had sparkles and nobody was aware Due to the contamination of constantly using the same topcoat on multiple nail designs that contain sparkles The normal thing to do would not use the same topcoat as sparkle designs on solid colour nails To avoid potentially adding sparkles, after stressing my concerns because I can’t have sparkle nails for work they said they can cover the topcoat with the black Polish again And they did, i still seen sparkles on my Thumb so I told Linda Implying to do another layer At this time The nail tech Kim Inserted herself in the conversation And said Linda will take it all off and I can pay for the fill and go somewhere else because “we don’t have the black you want”! She proceeded to say nobody’s complained that the black has sparkles before. When that’s not the issue I was bringing to light the black was fine It was the clear topcoat that put sparkles on my nails because the constant cross contamination with other nails with sparkles, As a returning/regular Customer I find that very disrespectful to try and discard what I’m saying basically shooing me out because of an issue they caused, then to make a seen by Kim raising her voice to me like that putting me on display When it was their mistake With no apology for one wasting my time and two having to Paint all the nails again, No Compensation or discount for her wrecking the foundation of the nails by adding the 5 coats of polish she had to do because of this. I explained this situation with a gentleman named Huey who did a great job without a doubt helped me and made sure it was properly done.

Went on Tuesday, 2 days before my birthday, for a mani pedi. I booked with Sophie, as I usually do. I travel from far, but my mom has been going there for the past 11 years and a lot of my family members still go. My last 2 visits were horrible. With this previous one I had asked for a 10 am appointment but Sophie told me to come at 12:30 which I found out she switched to 12:15 without notifying me to fit in another client. I felt my whole appointment was rushed, and she didn’t even paint my nails… I requested for shellac but was told she didn’t have time. There has been many times where when we arrive on time, we are still waiting for her to finish up with a client. I was charged $35 for a mani pedi with no colour, and my nails are already breaking and my hangnails are coming out again… ITS BEEN 3 DAYS!!! Will attach photo to show. In my honest opinion, Crazy Nails was good once upon a time but they’re not loyal. We have supported the business for years and have never seen improvements. THEY DONT EVEN HAVE PEDICURE CHAIRS!!!!

Hey all, next time, I prefer a thinner layer of my nail plate removed and no cutting into the matrix, so my hands don’t burn afterwards. It hurts when nail techs cut the living skin and not the dead skin of the nail fold. I’ll mention that next time I see you all. Also, I don’t like seeing a red line under the bottom of the nails when they starts growing out. ( I haven’t found a tech yet that doesn’t damage the nail.) I can see how far they drilled into the surface of my nail. Yikes! Otherwise the colour and design turned out great! Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. I didn’t have an appointment, but they were able to accommodate me within the hour between my errands, which was perfect! Thanks again!

One of the best nail salons in Scarborough by far. My family and I have been coming here over 15+ years. Kim and Huey are the sweetest owners, with the nicest most reliant staff. All services are quick & efficient, and the staff are really detail oriented. The polish selection (shellac & regular) is really nice as well. This is an OG place with a super welcoming environment. I recommend asking for Rose or Sophie. Definitely stop by if you’re in the area, they’re super accommodating with last minute appointments. Thank you

I want to rate this establishment higher but it is hard. They need to upgrade the foot spas and the chairs that the clients use. There prices have increased for service but not the materials they use. They need to talk better to the customers at times they can be rude. They do a great job with cleaning your feet if you have calluses etc. The nail polish is likely thinned as it chips as soon as you leave the salon. In my opinion because they are situated in a low income neighborhood they may be taking advantage of the clients.

Really really disappointed ... it was expectation vs reality for me, i went to do my nails for wedding ceremony while i showed them that i need exact design that shown in picture but when its done it was not even close to that design I started feeling really upset I didn't even want to stay there i was feeling really disappoint ... while doing nails i try to explain the lady she was rude and its hard to communicate ... i needed the square shape but she literally did something else i will never recommend this place...

Their work is amazing but their communication skills need a lot of work. First off, they sound aggressive. Secondly, I called and asked if I could go to have my nails removed, I said around 2:30, the person I spoke with said 3pm? I thought about and said ok. She repeated 3pm I said yes. I come at 3 and the person I spoke with started arguing with me saying I agreed to 2:30. I said it was changed to 3 she said no. Never going back there again, my friend had the same issue about time as well.

BEWARE! These people are TERRRRRIBLE at what they do. My daughter and I went for a fill, for our nails. Both girls that performed this service for us, cut all of our fingers. All they care about is $$$. The faster the service the more customers they can put through. Extremely unprofessional. Then they wanna charge me 10$ for taxes because I used debit. I WILL NEVER GIVE MY HARD EARNED $$ TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN. They should be put out of business.

Went to get my nails done from here (get acrylic extensions) and had an amazing experience. First, they accomodated me even though I went almost at the time of closure. The lady was patient yet fast and did my nails really well. She suggested me the nail colors according to my preferences. I decided to get my eyebrows and upper lips waxed as well and she was really great with those too! Overall, an amazing experience and totally a recommendation.

If you are looking for a great mani/pedi try the ladies at crazy nails. They always do a fantastic job on both my husband and I. Linda and Rena are terrific. I’ve had the pleasure of both their services and I have nothing but respect for the hard work they did. They are super busy, my recommendation is you make an appointment. As a super satisfied customer I give them a raving 5 stars

Very horrible service today out of all the 19 years I've been going there. This will be my last. Always remember you guys aren't the only nails store on morningside anymore. Pedi nails has better service and didn't give me attitude and treat me differently. Shame on you guys and if you guys are having a bad day don't let out on the customers

Best place ever! I've been going here since 2012. They're really friendly and welcoming. They try and accommodate you with your appointment as well as they provide warranties on their nails. If your nail comes off before the first filling or the shellac comes off within the 2 weeks getting it done, they will fix them at no additional cost.

I have been a client st Crazy nails since 2015. Sophia does a great job, she works quickly and efficiently. They don’t have massage chairs, however, I go there because of the service, and the price is good! Quiet, calm atmosphere. Call ahead for an appointment so you won’t have to wait, or told to come back later.I recommend this place!!

Thank you Linda always does the best work and always goes above the call of duty. They don't offer much in jewels designs and airbrush however what they offer is much more then that. Respect and treating clients like friends and family go a long long way. I will take that over any design and bling. Many blessing to all.

They are great at what they are doing, but the attitude sucks I observed the way they treat other people and always felt sorry for those customers. Always go here after my boyfriend found it. I absolutely love them. So friendly and fun! They are the best nail salong I've been too. Make sure you go here and if you call before you'll be guaranteed to be seen. I've even come randomly at the end of the day and they stayed an hour extra just for me. Recommended

It was an amazing experience! Linda did my nails and Ryna did my sisters nails and we just had an amazing time all around. Everyone was super nice and friendly! Linda was great to talk to as well! And we are both very happy with our nails! The atmosphere is very calm as well. 10/10 would recommend!

This place is horrible- they speak about the clients in Cantonese, use buckets for the pedicure, are extremely OVER PRICED and KIM is RUDE! I have went to this dive three times and regret spending a penny with them. They DO NOT provide quality service !! Save your money and spend else where!

Their work is phenomenal went there for a Mani and pedi. While doing my nails, my feet was soaking the WHOLE TIME! Which helped soften the dead skins. Other places rush and don't allow your feet to soak properly. Then u leave and ur feet

There’s no way they deserve a rating higher than this. Arrogant and rude staff, uncomfortable chairs and very unhygienic. The shellac they use peels off in the same week - products are very sub-standard. Don’t waste your money at this place.
