As reviewer #126 and first time visitor to Décor On A Dime, I had read the 125 previous reviews from Purchasing Customers, and I believe this will be the first, honest Consignor review. I had no idea what to expect when bringing many boxes of décor pieces to the store yesterday. We were greeted with a genuine, warm welcome by both Michelle (the owner) and Gail. I now knew what to expect...sincere & attentive service (a rarity nowadays). The store itself has an instant 'great' first impression, with tasteful arrangements of décor/furniture items, that clearly showcase one's pieces 'beautifully' for resale. The entire process of receiving my items and the Consignor/Store procedure was straightforward and professionally orchestrated. It may not be easy to hand over your valued/cherished items, but it was actually painless & comforting to know they were left in more than capable hands. I left with a feeling of excitement & trust, in selling our pieces in Michelle's store. You just won't get this experience when selling items yourself on Marketplace, Kijiji, etc...what you do get, is oodles of timewasters before you end up selling an item, not worth the aggravation at all, and why I chose to donate instead for years, until now...this store is an extraordinary unique find! Once we are ready to decorate our new place, I know we will be coming here exclusively, as I could have easily bought a dozen items yesterday...the 'downside of downsizing' right now, can't buy til we see what will fit. Finding the perfect pieces at great prices will not be a problem though at Décor On A Dime. I was pleasantly surprised that the majority of the store is actually brand new items at discount prices...no more paying hyperinflation retail prices & giving your money to Big Box/overpriced stores. Supporting local businesses is definitely a win-win for customers and owners, especially one that is run like Décor On A Dime! Buyer beware this is a store that used to be great, actually amazing. Then they switched the store around and got used (returns) "new merchandise" in they used to sell beautiful retro vintage furniture. They now sell wayfair returns some of the items are even more money then from wayfair. Store also isn't very covid friendly as they don't have arrows on the floor it really is a free for all. Making it very hard for me and my service dog to get threw the store with furniture crammed and no store flow to not allow for people to not cross paths. ***************************************************************************I will note store Owners response but it isn't easy to just duck into a spot when you have a large service Dog that requires 6 ft at all times. When I was in store there wasn't I am stating what my experience at this location at my visit was like Please don't come at me and tell me I'm wrong. Yes the responsibility is on the customer BUT the responsibility is also on the store owner and staff to implement the Covid rules and let each customer be aware of it when at the location there was no one counting people going in and out. Might have change but at the time of my visit didn't happen. You mention that you also have arrows and directions but on your online instore posts still there is no arrows on your floors.******** I will note store owners response: When I said Arrows I ment to say markers. Lets not get on a high horse. There was No Markers in your store. on the floor. No sign on the door or hand sanitizer. Just saying your are picking a fight online with customers. I am allowed to state my experience I did not ask for you to get in comuniaction with me. You decided that on your own when I put in the review. I also should not have to ask your staff to accommodate me they should be aware of the rules at all times. Your staff shouldn't even be coming near a Service Dog they are required at all times six feet as per the CDC because service Dogs don't wear face Masks.

Great spot for all of your furniture and decorating needs including a huge selection of pictures and framed prints. Most of their stock is second hand so it is very reasonably priced. Everything is in very good condition though. I don’t believe that I have ever left without purchasing at least one item but normally multiple items. They also have a wide variety of paint for all of your redecorating needs. They can also provide you with good advice for your project. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. You can also purchase on-line and also have them sell items on your behalf on consignment. Check out Decor on a Dime and I promise that you will not be disappointed.

I had purchased an item online auction and picked up in store, lots of great things in store as the items sell themselves, I even purchased a canvas and purse at an additional 120.00 however, when I pulled out my Native status card to be exempt from part of the taxes I was made to feel like a burden to them. They had difficult time calculating how much tax is off. One lady commented just give her all the tax off. Not really talking to me, just each other, I waited patiently for them to figure it out but I definitely did not feel welcome when I left. I don't appreciate the way I was treated after I brought out my Status Card.

I love this store both for buying and consigning. Being a Professional Organizer my downsizing clients are often wanting to sell their good furniture and I always recommend Decor on a Dime over anyone else. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, it is near my house (but worth the drive if it wasn't) and one of these days I will take a painting workshop there. I love their app on my phone as I can see how my items/clients items are selling and what is new and their weekly tours of the store are wonderful as the stock is ever changing. All in all, a great shopping experience!

Love this place! Michele the owner is wonderful ! So kind and looks after anything you need anytime great items and prices all the time. I also learned to paint with fusion paints here and so thankful for the classes they had It helped me be more confident painting. The staff all are amazing ! They are patient and knowledgable ! Especially fun is their Friday happy hour sales ! So much fun! Thank you for making lockdown Friday’s a bit more enjoyable

Don't go into this place if you have a problem parting with your money because YOU WILL BUY SOMETHING....AND LOVE EVERYTHING ELSE!!!! This place is just TOO good to be true!!!! I've been in here 3 times and have seen things I can use in every corner of my house. The pieces are classic and extremely well displayed and VERY well priced!!!! They even sell LP's!!!! I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!

We went here when we were in Hamilton for a couple of nights. We love used places and needed some home items so decided to check it out. It's a cool store that combines consignment items with items that are new from Amazon or Wayfair returns. Some of the furniture and lamps were very nice. Definitely worth a look before you go to a boring big box store, some cool items here. 5/5.

This is a great store! I love the custom painted & unique pieces & the quality of furniture that is selected to resell! Michelle & her staff are great & the environment is friendly , no pressure to buy & uplifting! I highly recommend this store to anyone needing furniture or anyone wanting to refresh their home with classy & unique pieces or less!

They pried the marble top off my table to see how it was held on and when I went to put it back in my car because now they didn't want it, it wasn't put back on properly and the marble fell to tje ground and broke. Caution, if you take items there keep your eyes on it because they didn't have my permission to pry apart my table.

Wow!!! So glad I happened across this store, seen it driving past before but never went in. Loads of gorgeous furniture and decor. Can't wait to come back again when I need to get/change up things. The staff are super sweet too, not pushy like in other places. I Love Love Love this store❣

Well organized friendly helpful staff. There was an item I was interested in but someone had called ahead to put a hold on it. I had let them know I was interested they took my name and number and made a courtesy call to let me know the item was indeed sold. Appreciated with gratitude.

I purchase the Fusion paint there and all always treated so well. The young man that works there (can't remember his name) is helpful, pleasant and always so friendly. I recommend a visit ... even h just to look around at their artisan goods. Review left by Anna of Chalked Paint.

I was so excited about the idea of this store. I thought it would be the one place I could get amazing deals on the type of furniture I want in my home. Not the case at all. So expensive very very disappointed in pricing. They really need to change their name. Decor for the rich.

Wonderful consignment store in the same vein as Zoey's Consignment Collection in Burlington. With pricing that decreases after specific dates, Decor On A Dime has an amazing selection of styles in all types of home furnishings and things

As a family, we pop in at least once a week. Staff are super friendly, and very helpful. We have purchased a few things and are very pleased with every single item. There are always new things to see.
