Literally THE WORST concert venue in DC, by far. The bar line was literally 45+ minutes. There's only *FIVE* bartenders for 3,000+ attendees. AND *if* you ever make it to the bar (which they close at 10pm, or 20 minutes before the show ends), there's no liquor; only beer+wine. Absolutely disgraceful. There's no air conditioning. The temperature inside was 85 degrees. Water is NOT easily accessible (no water fountains). So get ready to become super dehydrated! There's cops walking K9 police dogs INSIDE the venue through the crowd. They spend 10x more resources on busting kids for dab pens than they care about giving their paying customers basic amenities. Absolutely obnoxious. Overall this place is vastly unequipped and understaffed for the events that they hold. 5 bartenders for 3,000+ attendees is not enough. With a revenue of $90/ticket x 3,000 tickets = $270,000. You can afford to hire more than FIVE bartenders, and invest in air conditioning.

Horrible venue for a concert. Such a shame, since the act was wonderful. Waited in line for a drink for 40+ mins, only to be turned away because they were out of alcohol. Meanwhile, I was waiting for a bottle of water. Security staff was extremely mean. No true air conditioning or ventilation, so we were all dripping and dehydrated, but not able to get water. We left before the main act ended because we just couldn’t take it anymore. Staff in the tech area had CASES of water, and when we asked for one because the line for the bar was from the back of the venue to the stage, he laughed and said no. Don’t waste your money.

My participation in Edfest a few months ago gave me the opportunity to visit the armory. The flow of the event was handled in a way that there was no confusion for both staff and parents. As a staff member I was able to communicate with perspective parents in an open effective matter and as parent I was able to navigate throughout the aisles that interest me with no confusion in finding what I needed. Bathrooms were kept clean and stocked. The kitchen was well staffed and offered a variety of items on their menu. The sitting area could have been a bit bigger to accommodate those that needed a break.

I went to a convention that was offering free services to the homeless community. The volunteers were so helpful, friendly, and caring. They were offering free cavity fixings, vouchers to get i.d., clothes, free testing, and they even were handing out pizza and metro cards with $8.00 on them. I'm sure there are other events that happen inside, and if they were comparable to the experience I had, then I would definitely attend other events.

Terrible venue. AC is barely keeping up when there is literally no one here. Only tow restrooms per men/women?l, no inclusive restrooms. One bar with a line goes across the entire venue to the stage. I was sober by the time I got another drink. And bartender shamed me into tipping them directly on cash app. That has to be at least some kind of IRS violation. Terrible experience. Never book anything here. Overpriced and disgusting.

I been going to the DC Armory for a very long time. Even when we use to have drill competition there back when I was in school. My last experience at the Armory was a memorable one cause it was for my youngest brother retirement celebration and it was awesome. The staff sergeants (my apologies if that's not their rank) that brought it all together did a fantastic job.

Location hard to find (it is the place with an airplane out front). parking was hard to find (lot 3 worked out in the end it was $15 cash only). Inside they don't let any food or water. The water fountains were even turned off... Food was meh, they had simple consesions and a few food trucks but not much and zero coffee... We went in Jan and it was kinda cold...

I've been to a lot of armories but this one is by far the best. The selection of arms is great and the staff is very helpful. They didn't seem too happy when I asked where the arms are kept but they were probably just having a bad day. I'll have to go back again when there are hopefully less people. It was rather crowded.

The venue didn’t allow us to bring in water while making water very difficult to get. We didn’t get any. Watched multiple people pass out due to heat and lack of water access. Venue should be avoided in general. Not a safe place to attend a show, especially given the amount of people attending.

The building was very clean considering the amount of people that were in attendance. There are signs that indicate where the restrooms and exits are. Overall it’s a nice venue. Parking was quite complicated. The staff was helpful, polite, and courteous.

This place has been around since 1942. Lots of events and history has taken place here. Like any old city building in this city, the Armory needs some love and renovation. Update the drill floor and restrooms to make it last another 100yrs.

Gotsole shoe convention was here. The place is a little old looking and could use an update. Parking is out, but I heard some cars got broken into. I used an app to find parking at someone's back of their house, which seemed better to me.

Was here for Rüfüs Du Sol concert on 6/8/22 and I really have no complaints except it got extremely hot inside! Thankfully I was barricade and they had a giant fan up front. The staff were very helpful and I'd probably go here again :)

Absolute worst venue for a concert. It was extremely hot and muggy with no ventilation. The bathrooms are not equipped to handle a thousand + people crowd and the concession stand sold out of alcohol halfway through the main act.

Fun ! The staff were outstanding. We went to a concert there and it was just absolutely a joy after all the pandemic stuff that’s been going on. They didn’t allow the place to get packed. The show was great we had a great time!

The venue is nice and we went for the 29rooms event. I was a little disappointed that be then you had two major functions going on at the same time. Whatever was on the other side completely interrupted the art show.

Lots of prep for the Army 10 Miler weekend. This venue is always the best place to get so many areas set up and many people in and through with ease.

Updated from the old days within the last few years of new LED lights, refurbished wood floor, upgraded sound system, and bathrooms.

I went for the ATM, and was a great experience. The expo was organized and the displays, even when limited, we're awesome.

The Cannabis festival was everything. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and my man Ludacris came thru and lit up the stage.
