Yesterday was the second time I'd been to DC Nails & Beauty. The first time I had my nails done, a month ago, I was happy with my transaction with the technician and very pleased with the job she had done on my nails. I had every intention to continue returning monthly, for the upkeep of my nails. Yesterday was not such a pleasant experience. I had made an appointment, however no technicians were available at the time of my appointment. After 10 minutes or so I was lead to a seat where one of the girls was to prep my nails (remove nail polish) to be ready for the nail technician to do my nails. At this time still noone was available for me, and the Salon was getting an influx of customers. I asked the young girl how much pedicures cost, when she asked if I would like one. I told her yes, if time permitted, and only if she checked it out with the Nail Tech who was booked to do my nails. She got up and I presumed asked if there was time. Next thing she lead me to do a pedicure. >She did a really good job. So good in fact that I thought of making a pedicure a regular occurrence< I was then directed to sit where my nails would be done. When a Tech sat down in front of me, it was 90min after my appointment time. She clearly wasn't happy to have been asked to do my nails. There was no "Hello" She was abrupt in her manner and hurried through what she had to do to finish the job. Forget about, that she cut my nails shorter than I wanted, she made me feel so uncomfortable that I couldn't wait for her to finish so I could get out of there. I was never made to feel that way by the Salon I was using for the last 10 years. Looks like I'll be going back to them. Just goes to show, money isn't everything.

The nails are cute from afar, but close-up, you can see all the streaks and bumps in my nails. The lady that did my nails was super rough and seemed frustrated with me. there was heaps of glue and residue stuck all around my fingers which I had to spend time picking and pulling off, which took layers of my skin off with it. I paid $90 all up for nails and a manicure edit they owners requested proof of my nails, i sent proof and they pretty much argued with me about it saying that my nails were fine and gaslighting me about how the redness around where i had to peel off all the acrylic residue they left behind was from the manicure. which it wasn’t because my skin after the manicure was perfect. i was quite happy with the manicure but not my nails. i NEVER asked for a refund or even a fresh set so i’m not sure why they’re being so rude and unprofessional from honest feedback i have never had people who own a business argue with me. Where i work i just agree and move on? guess this place doesn’t understand professionalism

I’d had an appointment for 4:10 on a Tuesday, they'd said over the phone I could come in for that time and I’ve always called to confirm. I was waiting for just over an hour to be seen, despite it cutting close to closing time. All of the female staff left at 5:47, leaving only one staff member to do 3 customers nails outside of business hours. Now, mind you he did do a good job but I am appalled at the dishonesty. He told me the price was $25 more than what was advertised both on the brochure and on the outside window. Initially ripping me off. Because I’d already prepared and had cash for the ADVERTISED price, id had to go to the atm just outside for an extra $25. Since the atm doesn’t cash out anything less than a $20 note, it was a miss. Due to the inconsistency with this businesses prices, I’d suggest bringing upward anywhere between $20-$50 as they’re rather unreliable.

28/08/2022- Went back today , great experience . Perfect shape , and colour . The lady was very helpful , attentive , high attention to details. I was glad that I came back after my initial experience( which wasn’t the best). I will come back again . Thank you —— The lady who did my nails was messaging someone the first 10 minutes , I wanted to ask her opinion about the colour for my nails , t she pretty much ignored me and still messaging . she kept looking at her phone and stopped in the middle of doing my nails just to respond to her messages. I noticed the shape of my nails aren’t the best as she wasn’t focused, I had to check the shapes and requested her to fix . Just not professional .

My appointment was at 9.30am I was waiting at the front with other clients waiting as the shop wasn’t open staff come at 9.35am all at once. I informed the gentleman I had an appointment at 9.30am and my name he said yes what would you like (didn’t look in a book so had no idea what I wanted had to tell him) lady doing my nails was very rushed , rough and kept pulling my arm maybe didn’t speak English. Didn’t asks what shape I was after just went off what shape my nails was already. Nail polish is all lumpy. End of the service didn’t even say thank you have a good day nothing paid and left!!! The gentleman was nice thou.

I have been going to DC Nails and Beauty for some time now getting acrylic nails done, and just when I thought they had outdone themselves with the complex designs I always seem to want, each and every time they never cease to amaze me! Nothing has ever been too hard for them to do, and if I’m being my usual indecisive self, they always seem to know what I want and create the art that always amazes me, and I always leave their happy! The staff are so friendly, and it’s a clean and beautiful salon. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, if not just for the experience itself if you want a little pampering.

I get my nails done here and they’re very good however there’s this one lady who did my nails once she has short curly hair with glasses and she didn’t do my shape correctly no matter how much I corrected her. It always worries me when I think it’s her who does my nails because I like have perfect coffin nails and she just never does it right. Other than that everything is good. Additionally i do hope they change out the tips they use to the clear one because the clear ones are straight instead of curved like the ones they use. And it won’t look like a claw

I have visited this store twice now and will definitely keep coming back! Today I was served by Christine and she made my nails a very nice shape and took the time to help me find a particular colour I wanted. The salon is very clean and the staff are friendly. I am impressed with their willingness to listen and check in with their customers to ensure that everyone leaves pleased with their nails. The bonus is the store has a relaxed pleasant vibe too. No need to put up with large shopping centre salons doing impersonal rush jobs any more!

It can be very busy but the staff try their best to provide the best service. I am happy with my pedicure. I showed the staff what I found online and I thought they will just use nail sticker to create the marble effect I wanted. Ended up he hand drawn the marble pattern. He also put gold flakes on which immediately took the effect to next level. Took about an hour for the whole thing and costed $70. The staff will also let you know the price before hand before they proceed with anything and I think that's really nice.

Have an appointment at 10 when I reached there all the chairs was full and I was told they can't see any appointment for me which I booked 3 weeks ago, I wait one hour to have my hands done, I was nearly finished with my hands and the manager filled all pedicure chairs again! When I complained to the manager, he rudely replied he doesn't have time to talk to me and if I didn't want to wait I could leave! I have been their customer for 1 year but I am not going there anymore for sure!

Had my nails done here for my wedding, was happy with the end result but the only thing I didn’t like was that because an airbrush was used the white was all over my cuticles and fingers, so I was legitimately scrubbing my fingers to get rid of the white nail polish which did eventually come off, was a bit stressed out for a bit because I was getting married the following day. At the end they looked great and had many compliments

was great the first couple months going there everyone was so nice and so helpful over the last couple months it’s like the guy there doesn’t want you to be there. Spoke on alot of personal issues that wasn’t his business and was speaking about me to other techs behind my back. i normally don’t make reviews that are negative in this case though i don’t think it’s the way to keep loyal customers and run a business.

I don't go anywhere else! Finally found my go to place for nails. Always a stunning job on my acrylics with shellac. Pedicures are to die for and such a lovely atmosphere in the place. Never had issues , staff are always nice and Declan is spot on with his attention to detail! Clean and proper sanitisation Can't thank these guys enough for always doing a excellent job

I made an appointment and went there expecting to get my nails done on the appointment, one hour after my appointment time I was still waiting… Tried to ask the manager about my appointment, he was so rude didn’t even want to talk… Their customer service and time management is horrible. Definitely go somewhere else!

I come here every time I get my nails done. All the staff are very friendly and they always do an amazing job with my nails. They all have the patience to do my nail art (flowers, hearts. santa hats etc). Every time I go for a new set of nails I always come out a happy customer.

Walked in without an appointment, was seated and attended to almost immediately. Staff were friendly and organised. Clean facility. I loved the huge and simple method of finding a suitable colour choice. Easy to find parking within the centre. Would highly recommend.

One of my hands is tricky, my fingers spasm and hand moves of its own accord - not ideal for a nail technician. Despite this, Declan was a professional and did wonderful french tips that are truly beautiful. I would definitely DC nails

Not best experience as we booked and still waited to get in. Deluxe pedi was pretty nice, staff were friendly however waiting for my mums nails to dry we got forgotten and were left with a heel soak on that we had to remove ourselves.

So friendly. The staff constantly check you are happy with the,colour,shape,look etc.after the nails are dry and you begin to leave it is also nice to hear them say goodbye. I would recommend this service to others.

I've had some bad experiences at nail salons but this place is clean and well managed. I did not feel rushed or skipper over. They also have an amazing range of colours to choose from. 11/10 would recommend.

Declan is amazing. Recreates any design I throw at him. Very skilled at his job and very friendly also. He makes sure you are happy at every stage and makes any changes you ask for. Highly recommend Declan.

Pretty good experience overall and my nails look beautiful. The only real issue is that it took a while to get seen to (half an hour after my set appointment time) and it was a bit pricer than other places

I loved the service, they were very gentle and professional, I’m a fussy person and she took all my concerns and amended it. It was also affordable, I didn’t have to break the bank for this nail design.
