I hate to post such a negative review but the store manager needs to be aware and casual shoppers should be warned. This place epitomizes everything that’s wrong with retail culture today - staffed by kids who don’t want to be there and have no interest in customer service. I visited the store yesterday to buy a new set of golf clubs and wanted to check them out in the fitting clinic. I was there for 10 minutes and saw no staff, so asked a young girl on a cash desk near the exit to send an available ‘expert’ to the golf department. I waited another 15 minutes and no one came. Meanwhile, 4 brattish teens took brand new drivers into the fitting clinic space and hammered the hell out of them. Refusing to give up, I called the store on my cell, spoke to a staffer and explained politely I had been waiting 25 minutes for service. He said he’d get someone to me… 10 minutes later, no one appeared and I gave up and left. Dropped $1200 at Roger Dunn instead. Dick’s seem to have the monopoly on sports shops these days and it seems staff think people have no options. I hope someone in authority reads this and seriously starts thinking about staff training. I won’t be shopping at Dick’s again. I much prefer places where staff actually care about customers. I don’t expect to be treated like royalty in a store, but I don’t expect to be ignored either. If possible, buy from Amazon or find a local dealer who specializes in your sport. Pay a little more for a little better.

I asked a salesperson(non African American), to open a dressing room so that I can try on some clothing. I had a pair of swimming goggles in my hand that I purchased from the store earlier. I also had the sales receipt in my hand as well, and showed it to her. You know what the salesperson told me? She said I could not take the goggles into the dressing room, EVEN THOUGH I had a receipt! She made me lay the goggles on a shelf outside of the dressing room prior to me entering! I did not want make a big deal out of it, so I complied, but I was left a little confused and upset. When I got to the register, I asked the cashier(non African American) why did I have to leave my already purchased item outside of the dressing room? She said she did not know why. I can understand if the item was not already purchased. I told her, I think I know why. I also told the cashier that I will share my experience with others by writing a review. I paid for my additional items and left the store. I feel that I was definitely racially profiled. It’s just so unnerving and unfair as an African American, to deal with this kind of treatment and experiences! I should have gotten the salesperson’s name. I’m just letting other African Americans who be shopping there, know you may get the same treatment, and you that you may want to shop at another location.

Came to purchase some baseball pants for my son and one of the sales people was basically following us around the store making my wife feel very uncomfortable. We are trying to shop in peace but it seems like this guy was just stalking us . He was a white male looked like early 20s with red hair . Another sales associates was pleasant to work with but the other associates was hovering to much . I get it there is a lot of theft going on but if a shopper is trying to shop let them shop in peace please . Not all people are bad . Idk if it had to do with the discrimination or racially targeting people but it’s not ok still . Please talk to that associate .

What customer service? It’s 9:30AM and the associates won’t even hold eye contact, speak, or acknowledge any customers other than those directly in front at the register. Long line. No, “thank you for waiting” or “we’ll be right with you”. Just 5 associates avoiding eye contact. If you’re already burned out at 9AM, it’s going to be a long day. Pity. Very nice quality apparel, but we left after the line wasn’t moving and no one seems to care. Drove to the Sketchers Outlet and loaded up on $500 worth of sales where the associates were cheerful, helpful and friendly.

Just showed up after calling to get a bow flex because they were closing make it here by 9 so I raced there yes don’t race people get there people still everywhere in the store but me being colored the guy at the front was quick to deny my entrance even though 2 people went in right before me and I explained I was Just in the phone with them in which then he replied it’s all the way in the back and did not let me In to make a 600 dollar purchase after racing all the way from Encino being on the phone for 10 mins with then while they checked and said come o over

Worst experience with this establishment. Trying to get shoes for my friend, the employee brought shoe to the back throws it on the shelf walks away, deals with other customers. Finally sees me again says oh hold on, goes in back where I can see him looks around doesn’t touch anything, walks out and says nope we don’t have them. This was the display shoe. After stating that he says it’s busy things get lost… 40 mins of my time wasted. I’m sure the name of this place is referring to that employees.

Terrible customer service the manager maria said we are we’re trying to exchange our products too late and they can do nothing about it, my mom purchased clothes for my birthday and was hospitalized by the time we got the gift and returned it she said we were three days late I will never be back terrible customer service during the pandemic

Great customer service, came in for a store pickup and they only had half my order. Teresa the manager called the surrounding stores to try to find it in another store but they put us on hold for a few minutes. Due to the wait, she offered me a $10 gift card which I was not expecting! Thank you!

Great New Location with a big selection of just about everything, however I wish their basketball sneaker selection was better. I dont see to may nike basketball or adidas basketball products. My most recent visit I did see more basketball shoes and I hope that means there is more to come.

Fresh, new and very clean store. Good selection of a wide variety of products. I was just visiting the new store and not really looking for anything in particular. Might have vf to go back for a pair of sneakers and see how their "get a shoe" kiosk works.

Terrible. Clothes where on the floor. Cramped especially in the sports teams section. Many workers asked how I was, but didn't assist very well when I wanted to checkout. Decided not to purchase anything.

No LA Kings hats or shirts. Pretty lame that an athletic store in LA doesn't have the city's professional hockey team gear. Also, their bike helmet selection is poor. Universal size helmets are a joke.
