Visited this store on Friday afternoon and was so impressed with the level of amazing customer service. It’s not often you see so many people smiling or acknowledging you in customer service these days yet my husband and I were asked by 4 different staff within a couple minute window if we could be helped. Even when not asked, staff were so friendly and happy and acknowledging every person that walked past. The guy who did help us ran back and forth within the store quickly to assist as we were unsure on the price of something. Great value for money. With the memberships/sales we saved around $40 off the usual total. The whole store had a great feel to it and certainly made my afternoon. Keep doing what you’re doing as it’s soo noticeable! :)

its Dans... usual stuff as per price policy, not petrol $ shenanigans, but you might turn up one day and your fave beer has gone up a tenner cause the liqorland/bws specials have ended... but this boutique has a good range of wines, spirits and CUB/ASAHI ales and lagers, bit thin on local brewers (now there's a few up and down the coast), but who wants a locally crafted artisan double IPA fresh from down the road. Having said that, you can buy double IPA's etc but not much above 7-8%... am I whingeing, probably... I'm not complaining, I've spent a fortune here...!

Go to Dan Murphy’s for this very nice, slightly sweet gin by La Plancheliere French Craft Pink Gin. It is very enjoyable and easy to drink. Dan has it available for just under $43. Enjoy it like I had it with tonic, blueberries, raspberries and fresh from the garden rosemary. Worth it if you can get it! Dans at Wynnum West have super friendly and helpful staff, a well organised store with loads of parking.

Seriously unreliable delivery. Do not buy this option. I ordered online for delivery and it never showed up. I got a text it had been delivered but no items were left. I contacted support and they tried to contact the driver and were unsuccessful. Logged a job with the care team and they never got back to me. Over $100 worth never showed up and terrible customer service.

Yeah, good place to find everything alcoholic you're after. It's like what Bunnings is to the handyman, is what Dan Murphy's is like to the alcoholic. Plus prices are half of what you'll pay at a sporting or corporate event. So stock up and get smashed. Drink responsibility and if you can't, try not to spill too much.... coz that's just a waste.

Popular, but still easy to find a park. Great selection of beer, wine and spirits for a good price as you'd expect from a Dan's. But the highlight was the Wine Merchant, Andrew (if memory is correct?) who was particularly helpful, friendly and passionate about his wines and offers some great recommendations to suit your taste and budget.

Friendly service but its a shame DM checkouts (when you leave a checkouts) is such a small area now and so difficult to manoeuvre your loaded trolley with cartons of beer and wine. Its not just this Wynnum West outlet (but most I've been too from Maryborough to the Gold Coast lately) They were not always like that.

Staff are always really friendly and helpful at Dan Murphy's. They always ask if you need a hand finding anything and are always polite. The only negative I would say is that none of the staff member i talked to seem to know what date the members specials run for. Other than that, fantastic service everytime.

Recently refurbished it seems to be aiming up market, with the front end of the shop focused more on premium wines and spirits with beer supplies moved to shelves at the back of the store. I preferred the former layout, although I have to say that the checkout experience is a lot quicker now.

When to Dan Murphy at Wynnum West and was served by a staff member named Rob, an older guy.You are a legend, which Rob help me out and it was the best customer service, I have received for a long time. Some of these young people, need to take a leaf out of his book. Excellent work Rob.

It would be nice if the "cold" stock was actually cold? I get there's money to be saved in setting the fridges to a higher temperature but it is incredibly frustrating to buy from the cool areas and have to put the bottles in the freezer at home before they are cold enough to drink.

So different to the unhelpful rude staff at Victoria Point. Well done to Martin, the duty manager. You made the buying experience a pleasure and painless, the way this whole sorry mess should have been handled from the start. I will be shopping for my alcohol at Wynnum from now on.

Awful. Went to buy a dozen bottles of an especially nice Merlot, but they had only four bottles and couldn't tell me when they would get more in. It's a very popular inexpensive red, but it seems to sell out as soon as it goes on the shelf. Come on, chaps, lay in proper stocks.

Great service by Joe-ann and Martin yesterday. I had a little taste testing, both backed up with extensive knowledge and trivia- it was really interesting. I brought a little more than I went on for, I am sure it won't go to waste though. Thank you , great job and service .

Oh i went there while me and a friend were a teeny bit tipsy and they were more then helpful and had big inviting smiles (even the security guard) and made our nights so much better. We laughed and had a great chat... Now that's great customer service✌️

Excellent customer service which you don't see often anymore. I was in the shop for about 15 seconds before I was approached by staff asking how could they help me. They were humorous and knowledgeable. Extensive range and competitive prices.

Parking here can be a bit cramped so be careful. The Murphies is the same as most others, not much changes. If you want to live dangerously though, visit this place right after a COVID lock down is called, Wow talk about thrilling! WooHoo

Dan's has recently had a major overhaul of the shop. Items are clearly marked & much easier to find. It has a great bunch of staff who are more than happy to assist in finding your favourite drink. They also had a much wider range.

I was most impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of staff. I was greeted, asked if needed help and assisted with my purchases to the check out. Most impressive. Probably the best customer service I have experienced.

I want a bottle of makers mark in a gift box. The guy laughed at me and said it was too close to Christmas to be able to get. It I couldi think I think they should have more stocking before Christmas. Kind regards ozy daz

GREAT store, great choice and great prices. A lot of international wines and spirits to choose from. Also, beer selection is awesome and you can always juggle between a bottle, a 6 pack or a box. Will fit any preference.

Was refused service because my little brother was next to me even after we were asked for id. Like come on im not leaving my brother in a hot car and wasnt even given a offical reason besides im just refusing service.

Trying to place pick up order on line. Can't get past Cart to complete order. Phoned, voice told me operator could help me up to 9pm today, and then hung up on me. Tried again, same outcome. The time I called 5.15pm

I got id'd 4 times during my 15 mins in the store , im 22, i got checked at the door by security , 2 times while walking around and then again on the checkout, bit of a hassle to grab my wallet out each time

Great staff, terrible security company, CAP security has been at the site for a long time and employ either not very useful guards or guards so old they shouldn't be standing on their feet for 8hr and more.

Nice shop. Still extorting Aussies. But they accept over pricing of mediocre products. So Dan can. Try some reduced chemical content imported products, good value like Nederburg wine or Kopparberg cider

Great store with great range and reasonable prices and extra bonus if you are Dan Murphy's member with extra specials available. Plent6of staff who are always very friendly. Easy access and parking.

The store itself is fine but the staff are horrible. Incredibly unhelpful and rude. Especially the guy who served us, very disappointed. Won’t be returning, I had a much better experience at BWS.

Friendly staff, great prices, mostly clean store. Be careful of some of the impulse buy items at the checkout as I picked up a packet of pretzels that were quite dusty and out of date.

Struggled to get much service. The list of member specials is printed in tiny font on a tiny bit of paper. Very odd. Thankyou to the security guard who ended up being the most helpful.

Young lady that served me was very helpful. When I couldn't decide on a whiskey, she allowed me to taste both and make the right decision (by chance it was a designated tasting time).

I popped in to return a case of beer I purchased at the Victoria Point store and the staff were so helpful in exchanging it for me, thank you Dan Murphy!

Acidic tongue, poor manners and the man at the counter looked and sounded like he really did not want to be there and my presence only exacerbated it.

Dan Murphy's has the best selection of alcohol products in Wynnum Manly. Prices are always good, staff are helpful, but the carpark is too small.
