Nice guy but he completely messed up my hair. I told him I wanted to grow out my hair like I have been for 3 months now and I just wanted a trim in the back and thinning out of the hair. He removed multiple centimeters and completely messed up the hair cut I was going for. I wanted to grow a flow and had a middle part. He made me look like manny from ice age. I even told him I didn’t want to get that exact thing so my hair can connect and flow back but he did it anyways. It’s gonna take me multiple months to grow it back to the original shape. I also need to go to a new barber today to fix it cause I look ridiculous. We had a nice conversation and he is friendly but I am really disappointed and sad because it took me months to grow that length

Deze kapper heeft ongevraagd een lange pony in mijn haar geknipt, welke niet in model en scheef is (linkerkant niet gelijk aan rechterkant) en zegt vervolgens dat het om een miscommunicatie gaat. Hij knipt zomaar een aantal centimeter af zonder dat van tevoren met je af te stemmen. Ik heb nooit om deze scheve en korte plukken haar gevraagd, heel erg vreemd en onprofessioneel. Vind het erg vervelend om komende maanden dit met haarbanden weg te moeten werken. Ook jammer dat ik nu weer lang moet wachten tot mijn haar op lengte is en het dus in model kan worden geknipt. Daarnaast vervelend om extra kosten aan een andere kapper uit te moeten geven omdat het scheef is geknipt. Ik raad deze kapper absoluut niet aan.

Danny was the first hairdresser I went to when I moved to Amsterdam 2 years ago and I have never changed since. He always takes his time perfecting every detail and listens when I want to change something. On top of that he is also a great guy to have a talk and laugh with. Would definetly recommend him!!

I'm always super happy when I come away after my appointment with Danny. For me, the sign of a good cut is the way it grows out, and Danny certainly knows what he's doing! I will never go anywhere else as long as I live in Amsterdam.
