Few days back, I was suffering from wisdom tooth pain. I was troubled by the pain to the extent that I could not even chew a single bite of meal. So I visited the DENTIST following my friend's recommendation (where she recently had done Root Canal Treatment). As I entered the clinic, the attendant asked me to wait for some time. Two patients were already in queue. We started conversing casually. I came to know that one of them was having some missing teeth and looking for replacement, another one was a follow-up case of fix braces. Finally I entered the cabin and Dr. Ninad Moon Sir asked me to sit comfortably. I explained my problem to him. Sir asked to sit on dental chair and did my thorough check up. He advised me a x-ray to make the picture more clear. So he took a x-ray and explained me that my wisdom tooth was in lying down position and there would be no chances of normal eruption. Further he explained that a minor surgical procedure had to done and overall treatment charges would be around 25 thousand. Antibiotics and pain killers were given to me and I got my appointment next day. I was bit apprehensive about the procedure. Observing my body language, sir recognised it and made me comfortable. He assured me of painless treatment. Really he had done it in a painless and gentle way. Throughout the procedure sir kept on counselling me so that I would be in relaxed state of mind. Within short period the procedure completed. It was followed by sutures. No postoperative complication. The things I would really like to appreciate are- 1. Doctor's skill 2. Review My chief complain was 0. mobility of teeth 0. Bad breath 0. Bleeding gums 0. Missing teeth for which I was seeking replacement immediately. For this I have visited numerous dentist in and outside our city and was disappointed as no dentist was able to understand my plight. Many dentist advice me to go for total teeth removal and replace missing teeth with dental implants approximate cost would be 5 lac and duration of 6 - 8 months. Other dentist suggested me to go for flap surgery with bone augmentation and removal of 10 mobile teeth and replace missing teeth with dental implants. Well I took my grandmother to a dentist for complete denture but she was not satisfied with the denture and afraid for the dental procedures she was not even talk properly. Only for dental emergency treatment their appointment system is flexible for rest of the dental treatment one has to be very punctual padding time of only 15 minutes or you will miss the appointment and your next appointment will be after one month. In 2010 I had tooth decay, I visited Dr Moon and he recommended RC treatment. That was my first visit to a dentist and I heard from my relatives that their experience with dentist was of pain and trauma. So I walked in with skepticism and nervousness.
