My wife and I attended Desert Hills from January 2021 thru April of 2023 with our whole family. First off, it seems that Desert Hills is trying to hide ANY and ALL truthful reviews about the services they provide from its staff that are negative across ALL platforms. Sadly, this church reminds many, and myself, of the Shiny Happy People movie after watching what went on in there personally and collectively as a family for many years and now watching posts keep coming down from those who were within from those who continue to stay. After talking with my wife about her impression of what she thinks, these are her thoughts; I have to say, I agree with her, ... "Desert Hills, I believe, is filled with stiff-necked* leadership that uses God's Word as a tool to justify their evil by twisting the scriptures and in turn sacrificing the sheep to accomplish this end. This is called wolves in sheep's clothing. Many who have left, including me, have tons of examples of pride and hypocrisy deep from within the leadership there at DH. BEWARE!" R. *Acts 7:51-53 An "uncircumcised heart" is one that is closed and impervious to God's attempts to affect it. It resists them, which is why Stephen calls them "stiff-necked." A stiff-necked person is unyielding. His head is set, his jaw is outthrust, his ears are closed, and his teeth are clenched.

It's been very hard to find a church. One of the most common issues is churches that preach feel good sermons. I'm pretty tired of searching but I have teens that need to hear truth. I've only been to 2 services but I've listened to 7 online. I DO believe healing is today because God healed my kidneys after an evangelist called me forward 14 years ago. Also, I had severe back issues that needed surgery. I also went forward for prayer and God healed me. That also, is rare to find these days. However, being Arizona is starved of sermons filled with both truth and grace, I'll take this any day. This church is rare. I've always desired to go to John MacArthurs church and this is a lot like it. I don't think they believe in gifts of today, which I very much do, but being so many churches abuse this and dabble in new age practices, I am CAREFUL. So far I have loved the sermons. I realize I will never find the perfect Acts church but this is pretty darn awesome and I'm grateful, so grateful, to hear truth.

I love this church. This is really a great church. I was drawn to this church by the preaching which is fantastic every single week because the pastor preaches the word of God faithfully verse by verse every week. The equip groups are a great opportunity to fellowship and grow in a variety of biblical areas. They even have evangelism training and opportunities to hit the streets together. The worship music is beautiful and honoring to the Lord. This church has their focus right, which is clearly love for the Lord, glorifying Him, and sharing the gospel. They aren't watering down the gospel, they aren't entertainment-obsessed, they aren't telling people what they want to hear, instead they are faithfully delivering the truth. Finding a church like this is no easy task these days, sadly, but praise God for DHBC.

First time. Everyone was very friendly. A number of people were baptized which was very moving. The music was a good mix of newer songs along with gospel songs. The preaching was on 1 John 2:3-11. The message was very thoughtful and enlightening. If you like in-depth bible teaching, you won't be disappointed if you go here. Wonderful facilities. A small handout listed classes being taught during first and second services. I'll be back!

This is home. Solid soil to plant your feet in the Word of God and grow. The leaders follow the Word and use wisdom for the people here to grow in Christ alone. It’s not about numbers, it’s about conversions to Christ. That’s a church I want to grow in unity with my family of God. I thank the Lord for His will being done through Desert Hills and pray you come here as well to enjoy the fruits of the Spirit.

Biblical-based church not afraid to call out sin and anything that goes against the Word of God. Community-based and friendly people. I believe this is how a church should look like based from scripture rather than many in phoenix that are of feel-good messages and apostate worship. Definitely the church you should go to if you are escaping new-age infiltrated churches from doctrine to people.

Pastor Robs bold preaching and all the elders who stand on word of God without wavering . The opportunity’s you have to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ through the many biblical classes they offer. The opportunity you have to serve the Lord, community, and fellowship. My family and I have been blessed when the Lord lead us at Desert Hill Bible Church. WE LOVE IT.

Pastor Robb boldly and unashamedly preaches the truth of Scripture, and has a deep passion for believers to reflect Jesus Christ in all aspects of our lives. He also makes it a vital point to preach the gospel in every one of his sermons. The members of the congregation are some the most hospitable and friendly people I’ve ever met. Praise the Lord for this church! Soli deo Gloria!

Went for their Christmas Eve performance and I was blown away! Such amazingly talented musicians of all ages. Truly seems like an amazing community and I wish them all the best. Acoustics were good, sound mixing was a solid 8/10. I think they do livestreams too. Overall, excellent place for individuals and families alike!

My very first Sunday here I knew this was going to be my church! Preaches the Word in full and practices church discipline. And lemme tell you, it truly feels like the body of Christ when I am fellowshipping and worshipping with my brothers and sisters! What a faithful church the Lord has blessed!
