I had the most mortifying experience today while attempting to shop at this store/location (Atlantic Station). It is very clear to me that the store is severely understaffed and my intentions were to purchase a necklace and a suit for my date tonight. Unfortunately, upon waiting for what seemed to be over 20 mins for an associate to appear in the accessories department, no one showed up. I decided to try on a suit that was on the display: Grey blazer, Grey pants and a floral shirt. I didn't like the fit of it so I left it in the dressing room and asked the associate at the desk if she was able to help me with jewellery in which she requested someone to walk me over. Finally a man appeared at the stand and was helping another customer so I decided to leave. Upon exiting the store an APD officer ran after me and told me an employee accused me of THEFT! I was already in the intersection, as I was heading to Express, and he requested that I walk back to the sidewalk and asked if I can open my motorcycle bag. I obliged as I only had my keys, wallet and a prescription in it. Once my public embarrassment session was over, I requested that the officer please walk me back in and point out the employee that accused me of STEALING. The loss prevention associate promptly asked the officer if he checked my bag in which the officer nodded and acknowledged that there was nothing in it. I asked associate what she thought I stole and she mentioned the clerk in the suits department couldn't locate the suit I took in the dressing room. The very same suit of which she was actively bringing out of the dressing room and hanging on the rack. I requested a manager at this point, and a manager named, Sean, came and offered zero remorse or empathy for enforcing a system of bias and blatant prejudice. I asked Sean if Dillards had an articulated policy for specious behaviors or did the store just make a habit of targeted young black men and making it an obligation for them to purchase something or else they send police officers running after them in broad daylight and accuse them of theft. I would never spend my money at this location or any Dillards in the future. To think I was an employee of Dillards while in undergraduate studies and to see how far they've declined to employing racist false accusations under the guise of "policy," disgusting!

The customer service was horrible in the shoe dept. I had to wait for someone to appear. One person walked right pass me as though I was not there. The other told me to wait and walked to help another customer, and when she came back my way I had to grab her attention. She asked if I was returning the shoes because they didn't fit or if I just changed my mind. WHY DOES IT MATTER? She then said the only option "given to me" is to refund you by gift card. I inquired why and she finally told me the only way to get cash was in Gift Wrap. So I go there and I have to deal with another rude person, who commented "I don't know why she sent you up here!" Well hell if I know either! True, any other department store would have given me cash in the department I returned the item to. By the way, I PAID CASH, SO I EXPECTED CASH BACK, NOT A GIFT CARD. THERE ARE NO DILLARDS IN MY HOME STATE. I do not appreciate the GiftWrap clerk who took her own sweet time, making me wait while she conversed with other employees. She finally handed me the cash without counting it out. No thank you, nothing. I won't be shopping at Dillards, not Atlantic Station or elsewhere, on my future trips to Atlanta.

The best Dillard's that I have been in! I have not seen staff that is more friendly and willing to help than this location. The deals were great and because I loved it so much that it made me spend more than what I was planning to! Lol! I also went to the mall if Georgia location a week later and it was like night and day as that location while bigger didn't have as great of deals and worst of all the staff needs to be retrained as it looks like that they are selecting who they will greet and who they will help and I felt like I was being profiled. The sales attendant at the men's section greeted "nicer dressed couples" while me and my daughter who were wearing just shorts and a t-shirt they ignored. The attendant in the Murano section literally walked in front of us glanced and moved on. I got his attention to ask a question about the deals they were having and said "it's all over the store you just have to look!?" After that he saw another couple and greeted them and asked if they needed help. Yeah not going to the mall of Georgia Dillard's again... Now on it will be the Atlantic station one even though it's a little bit of a commute for me from Lawrenceville!

The shoe department sales staff was the worst. Walked in to the department 10 minutes before closing looking for a pair of flats to immediately buy to put on. Did not even want to try on. I held them in my hands for over 5 minutes while the sales man walked past me avoiding eye contact. I eventually got his attention to ask for my size and his response, we close in 3 minutes. I understood that and was looking to immediately buy if he had my size. Needless to say he went to the back and faked checked and came back and said he did not have my size lol. Clown! He should not have applied and interviewed for the job if he did not want to work.

I had never been in a Dillards before but I will again for sure. I went into the store looking for branded workout clothes and as I entered the store I noticed that it was beautiful and well maintained. As I passed through each department sales people said hello to me and some even said Happy Holidays. The lady in womens wear didnt just point to the athletic wear, she walked me over and showed me around the department and gave me information on certain brands and told me to let her know if I needed more help. It was a great experience and I really like this level of service. I will shop the store again and recommend it to people I know.

I experienced the rudest salesperson in the Dillard’s Atlantic Station shoe department on today. He showed zero customer service skills, was not helpful, talked as he was walking away and definitely was not interested in any follow up questions that I may have had to ask. I honestly felt as if he was being rude on purpose. I will never ever visit this department again because of him. I didn’t catch his name but he wasn’t the salesman wearing all blue, as he appeared to be kind and helpful to his customers. Apparently, good help is hard to find. Dillard’s, please do better our money is worth too much to be treated so poorly.

So I’m upset with #Dillards 1st of the year sale i always get my shoes from. They have no returns .. alright cool let me exchange the shoe... I bought 6 pairs of shoes, i need to swap 4 for a HALF larger size and they’re telling me no. I’m usually an 8, I purchased the size based off the previous years I’ve purchased from them and most being an 8. To me that’s a scam. I understand they’re trying to prevent people from buying shoes and getting a refund but i literally want the same shoe in a bigger size. This will be my last year shopping with them. Out of the thousands I’ve spent over the last few years smh.

Me and my fiancé came in looking for something for him to wear for our engagement photos and we were blessed to run into sales associate SEAN! He was spectacular! We worked with us for about 2 hours, finding us any and everything that we needed. Sean never displayed frustration from my high demands he always reassured me that we would be leaving with an outfit for our photos !!! And behold we found the perfect items for our engagement photos all because of his magnificent customer service! Without Sean Fraser we would have never found what we were looking for! THANK YOU SO MUCH! You have made our day!

Update Hands down the best customer service for bra fitting! Ma. Bernadine is simply amazing!! The largest and best shoe department in midtown. I have been coming to this store for more than 10 years just for the amazing shoe assortment which is highly curated but just right. They have their own brands plus all the favorites, from Uggs to Coach and everything in the alphabet in between. You will not be disappointed this is my favorite hangout for shoes. Ask for Tony, shoe dept veteran and expert he is the best with years of experience, I won't shop with anyone else. Amazing shoe shopping experience.

Had the worst experience at Dillard's today. I had already done my clothes shopping and went to the fragrance i asked a wonderful employee for a specific perfume she asked me to wait she was going to look for the perfume when a security man approached my son with a stupid rude attitude asking him to not touch the perfumes and turned to me asking me why i was just standing there. When i explained he still had a stupid attitude .it was More then obvious he was racist. Then proceeded to follow use all the way outside the store

This security guard follow me around the store like I had stole something. I went upstairs to pick up my packages I order online then I came back downstairs to look at some polo outfits for my husband. He was staring at me so I walk over toward Levi’s then he turn his head walk off if you follow me Ima follow you right back embarrass your robot cop toy boy self. Dillards how dare your security guard me around the store I see why y’all store empty it’s because of your fake security guard following everybody around.

I’m a service member, was in town visiting family. While shopping I constantly being asked if I need help every area I went and was followed around the whole time at first I thought the staff was being helpful in hindsight I was being racially profiled I will not come back here again I told all my army buddies to never come shop here, I hope the store manager sees this review you shouldn’t have a staff that make people of color feel uncomfortable. NEVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN!!!!!!!

Everything you could want in a department store. Have a jacket tailored in the men's department (even if you're not a man). The service is attentive and enjoyable. Ample parking is always appreciated in Atlantic Station. Great customer service at the fragrance counter and in men's suits. Skip the place if they're having a sales event. The blaring music and general chaos isn't worth the sale prices. I like to pre shop when they have an event and skip the madness.

I was very baffled that Dillards does not take Visa Gift Cards as a form of payment. I had to put the items back and I could not even order from the store itself. The Manager was extremely helpful and so was the female associate that worked in the shoe department. Dillards will lose a lot of business by not accepting other forms of payment, it's unfortunate that that such a well known department store has such outdated systems in place.

This place gets two stars because of the brown skinned slender black lady in women's who was so busy looking at what I had in my hand, that she walked right by me 5 times without saying a single word...but she greeted two white women like they were the best thing she'd seen all day! Had it not been for me buying the dress for mother to be buried in, I would not have spent a penny in that department. Disgusting!

Extremely rude and unhelpful staff. They make you feel like YOU work for them not THEY are working for Dillard's. I was very much amazed to see such unpleasant behavior. Will not be returning to Dillard's again, and especially not this location. These people do not deserve their jobs. They should take some training on proper customer service, especially at a location like Atlantic Station.

Thank you to Charity in formal wear! She was in charge of a huge section at Dillard's, but still had time for personalized service. I spent time trying on dresses on my own & finally asked for help. She was aware of the dresses I had been trying on and helped me look for other similar styles. Her honest opinions and no pressure technique was invaluable. One of her in every store please!

This morning I visited Dillards to do some shopping for my daughter. I needed assistance with customer service and they were very rude to me. I spoke with a manager who was very apologetic and attempted to make things right which is why I'm not giving a 1 star, but a 2 star. The young lady in young womens clothing (who witnessed the ordeal) was very nice and apologetic as well.

Dillards is by far my favorite department store. I always have the best customer service experience. Sales associates will actually help me shop for items, offering suggestions all with a smile. Makes we want to go into a store just for the hospitality. The selection is always beautiful with top designers at reasonable prices. Did I mention the sales? Best deals in retail!

Recently, I was in a bind to find a suit for a wedding. Men’s Business Manager, MD Piash saved the day. He took the time to help me find exactly what I needed, provided advice, and used his expertise to provide an incredible experience. He’s awesome and great at what he does. Can’t recommend him enough for the next time you’re looking for a custom suit or quick purchase.

At first, I was impressed. I went for a suit coat and the gentleman helping me was very good and helpful. To his credit, he's a skilled salesman. He tried to sell me a $500 coat that didn't fit well because it was the closest to my size and it was all he had. When I didn't buy and asked him for more selection he just left us there. I guess he figured why waste his time.

They have excellent selection of dresses and shoes for all occasions. This is my go to in Atlanta when I am in a pinch for a wedding, gala or any other dressy occasion. The customer service is great too- especially if Yazmine is helping you, she ran around the entire store helping me get a last minute outfit for a gala. I will go back to visit her specifically again!

Super convenient location and still one of the best places to purchase holiday decorations around. The store is fairly easy to navigate Ave usually adequately staffed so you don't have to walk through several departments before you find someone to assist you. This makes a huge difference when you are short on time and patience. Is definitely recommend this store.

Ridiculous. I have been twice in a month and BOTH times I was approached by parking police asking me if i worked at there when I parked. Once I came out and had a warning on my car. Maybe pay attention to the people smoking weed in the lot instead?? I used to be a loyal customer but I’m sick of their behavior and since this is the closest one to me, I’m out.

Great Customer Service from Mackenzie in Intimates! She helped me find my correct bra size and brought me several different options to try on. She also wrote down my sister sizes to help me find bras in the future. She was patient and attentive and I left with two items that will definitely make my life easier! I had a very positive experience here!

I love this store. The children's department is amazing. The purpose of my visit was to find uniforms for my toddler. I was able to secure a pair of blue polo pants. As I entered the store, I spotted the UGG display table. I fell in love with almost every shoe that I saw. My plans are to purchase at least two pairs before the end of the year.

Terrible customer service and return policy. They made us wait for almost 15 minutes to return an item. They also refused to let us return an item even though we had the receipt and it was purchased two days ago . Also, this location lacks inventory compared to it's competitors. I would not recommend ever coming here.

Looking for a women's size formal dress for a gala. Very few options. I used to shop here before they reduced the entire women's department. I was shocked. Ordered a perfume gift set online and picked it up in the store. The person at the gift wrapping counter helped me get my item and I was on my way. Very efficient and friendly. Everything that you need is here! Designer purses including LV, MAC cosmetics, perfumes, shoes and more. Very friendly associates that will help you find anything that you are looking for. There are three levels to this store. Lingerie is on the top floor. Nice selection of sunglasses and accessories.

Yikes! I used to work there when the associates actually cared about making money. Specifically the men's department. All the associates stayed behind the cash/wrap or were busy talking to other associates. Another customer had the same complaint and the associate didn't even give her bags.

I went inside Dillards (Atlantic Station) today with hopes of purchasing a vintage Louis Vuitton purse but the associates (a Caucasian man and African American woman) were so busy enjoying their own company that they were too busy to assist me! So of course, I left!

Typical department store. I didn't like that the person at the register/desk right by the elevator and escalator was not able to check out or make returns. Don't show me where to go. Just say I'm not open. Or even better, put a sign on counter saying you're closed.

I love Dillard’s. The closest location is about 22 miles away. They have s nice selection in Men’s Big and Tall, Shoes and Women’s. The buyers should be commended for knowing their demographic and making sure each store is accordingly stocked. Love the sales.

Very nice store weld merchandize. Friendly helpful staff. Clean bathroom however the bathroom door looks like a door from a gas station solution replace it or repaint it and maintain it
