A wide array of books from Political Biographies to Comic Books and classical fiction, possibly the most diverse collection of books in egypt with a satisfactory pricing. Another advantageous aspect is that the stock is constantly updating. Alongside the outdoor seating being very clean and orderly place for studying and lounging albeit the limited seating, in addition a comfortable environment with adequate staff members alongside the usual Café menu options. Great place for a calm hangout or a concentrated studying session.

I love Diwan but the staff the day I visited were not very welcoming.. they were chatting together and the lady at the counter instantly changed her attitude when I came to pay.. not even a hello or a smile from any of them. It's as if they were bothered people interrupted their conversation. I hope they get their act together because it is unacceptable to act in such an unwelcoming manner to paying customers..

Very nice salespeople, I went there almost before they closed not noticing the time and spent 40 mins browsing the books and they were too nice and patient that they didn't say anything and I gathered that I over stayed my welcome just when I saw their closing time later on.

Really nice place to find a book settle down and get cracking. The cafe outside is optimal for readers/ people who want to focus and concentrate. Service is a bit slow but it is again geared towards people who are planning to sit and spend some focus time alone.

Veryyyyyyyyyyy helpful staff .. great variety of books genre .. great outdoors seating for reading and hot drinks and enjoying the sun and the fresh air .. kids section is impressive .. i loved the maadi history book .. they even have a corner for coasters.

I've been a long time customer at Diwan and they never disappoint. They have an excellent selection of books for all genres in both arabic and in English. They also have a great selection of notebooks including top of the line notebooks …

I think this book store chain is the best in Cairo. The staff is well informed and are able to give recommendations. The English speaking selection of books is impressive. Definitely a place to find what you are looking for.

Cozy place and professional staff, highly aware of what they sell and with a good taste in books. The only annoying thing is that I can't return books and get a refund if I wanted to for any reason.

Awesome bookstore the only one I go to. Great variety of books but on the other hand doesnt have enough comicbooks and when they do the sell them with 300+ fyi there are comics from amazon with 2$

Great service inside when you’re just buying books, and in the little outdoors area where you can study or read. Food and drinks are good, prices average, and everything pretty quiet.

Wonderful bookstore! It’s spacious, relaxing, clean and calm. A good variety of books about Egypt and many other genres. This is the best branch ❤️ I hope to revisit.

A good place for studying suitable for amall groups the one disadvantage is that its indoor area is very small but it has a good outdoor area

You can find what you are looking for specifically for English books, but prices are higher than the average market price.

They probably have one of the most decent English book collections but still missing a few key authors. No place to sit.
