Usually, the beaches here are clean due to the 007 trash interceptor where the LA river enters the ocean at the Ballona Creek Jetty. However, it was not functional in August 2023; during the tropical storm Hilary. See pictures for all the trash littering the beaches here. The author is going on a stroll to clean up some of the trash. Please feel free to join her.
