.2023 March 31 my husband and i went to eat firstly no napkins . No silverware. Didnt bother to tell us there was no unsweet tea that we asked for. Because there tea was way to sweet. Then we waited and waited for our food. Just for her to bring ua someones elses food. Then take that back just to do it again Because even though my husband spoke to her in spanish she still got our order wrong. At this point my husband said that it was a racial issue. We are a bi-racial couple. The food was horrible. Never got what we ordered. The. We went to pay and they charged us for more plate a than what we ordered. And when they asked if everything was good. I told the girl behind the register no it wasnt it was horrible. Showed her what we ordered a that we were brought the wrong food twice. And never got what we ordered. She said oh the girl must of gotten confused. So what the waitresse doesnt understand english or spanish? They over charged us . Made NO!!! Effert to fix it ir make it right in any way. DO NIT GO HEAR. FOOD IS HORRIBLE . SERVICE IS WORSE. AND THWY DONT CARE.They obviously racialy discriminate. And do not care about there customers. This is the second bad experience. Thou after a few yrs they might of gotte better. But they only have gotte. Worse. First of the yr came again 2021. My husband and I had horrible service. This time waited 45 min to get our food . then another 30 to get his coffee refilled. And my order was wrong. Then while eatinf it the food tasted like it had moldy cheese in it. Horrible place will never go there again. Would not recomend to anyone.

The quality and service of this place has certainly dipped horribly in the last 4 yrs..I ate here often but after today I will never step foot in this place again,I don't know where to begin.butnit has to start some where so let's begin,No napkins,had to ask for silverware,they delivered the incorrect dish 2 xs not once yes 2xs!!! So far, I really like this place. I think they have about two or three months open but I'm not sure. Below is what I've had so far. Breakfast: pork chop plate that includes two eggs with optional salsa, beans, and potatoes. They were pretty good, especially for $2.99. Lunch: chicken fajita plate that includes grilled onions and green peppers, rice, beans, tortillas, a feisty green salsa and a HUGE tea. All of this for $6 and change. It might have been $5.50 but I don't remember. The chicken was marinated with paprika and something else I can't put my finger on. I was surprised to see that the chicken wasn't super greasy - in comparison to other restaurants in the area. Anyway. The portions aren't super huge but I think it's plenty of food for the money. They're running a business after all.

Ordered a Large Caldo through doordash. This restaurant packed my food NOT the door dash driver!! When this overpriced soup was delivered, the cup of rice was sitting inside the caldo because the liquid was so hot it had melted to pieces and plastic was floating in my soup.Lady on the phone offered to replace my caldo if I could come the next day before 3 pm. Went back today to get it and was told they WERE NOT going to replace it because the manager reviewed the tape and they feel they packaged it right. THIS IS BAD BUISNESS!!! Are they THAT hurting for money that they can not replace an order THEY messed up on??? I will NOT be dining at this restaurant again nor will my co workers after hearing what they did. Their customer service sucks!!!!

Caldo and rice were served cold as in refrigerator cold, to the touch. Vegetables in the caldo were undercooked. The only thing edible was the corn tortillas. The waitress never came to the table I had to get up and look for her, the place is extremely small. The manager (who was flirting and hanging on some man with an apron) was extremely rude and argued the fact that the food was undercooked and cold. Her exact words were "Everyone has their own opinions." We payed for our food and the horrible service out of respect for the owner, who unfortunately wasn't there. Very sad to have to leave a negative review on a familiar restaurant but the food and service has severely declined the past few months.

My new favorite place!! Our server Isabel was the best - sweet, fast, friendly and super helpful (give her a raise!!) The three in my party ordered the skillets - the food was super HOT (I eat slow and my food never got cold)and tasty. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star is because after we sat down a couple came in, sat next to us and played videos on there phone while we ate (I know this isn’t the restaurants fault) but when I complained and mentioned it to the lady at the register - she didn’t care. She smiled and shrugged. I took a pic of the couple playing their annoying videos, FULL VOLUME - never once did they shut them off - ugh. We’ll be back but hopefully the rude people will stay home.

The food was lukewarm at its best. They brought out the food very quickly which is probably why it was not hot. The plates was extremely small for the price. The beans were very watered down and the amount of rice was maybe 2 tablespoons.. also, the wait person kept calling me Mama. I am not used to this familiarity term from a wait staff. Usually the term used is in Ud tense. Will not return. As i was walking in, saw some friends exiting and they said their fish was not good. According to them, it was hard. I should've taken that as a sign.

First off this manager needs to have a long talk with someone above her because she shouldn’t act the way she does to customers, they put sausage instead of bacon & I called to simply get new tacos & she said it was door dashes fault ( work from home I can’t leave ) & I or someone with identification & ONLY them Need to come & get the tacos by 3 , overall she did not handle the situation with kindness.. there’s always an easier/nicer way to to treat people . It’s okay to make mistakes miss manager, just don’t ruins people perspective about your restaurant about it ‍♀️

Did not enjoy the breakfast. I ordered Huevos Ranchero with eggs over medium and both eggs were solid (NO YOKE). The potatoes look old and overly greasy. My Sweetie ordered Huevos RANCHERO with pork chops. The menus states 2 pork chops. The plate came with 1 Chop, so I asked the waitress. She states it comes with 1 chop. I showed her the menu that states 2 and she said, "That is an error in the menu." They serve a green salsa and a water pico de Gallo looking salsa. I was not a fan of either. We will not go back. I should at the least get what the menu states and how we ordered the meal.

Customer service was helpful and wait staff attentive. Atmosphere was inviting. Restaurant is big and plenty of seating. Large selection if variety of food on their menu. Received our drink order quickly and our food order was taken as well. Was served a complimentary cup of hot fideo. Was very tasteful and I filled up on just two of them. Our tacos came fast and were hot. Tacos were stuffed and plentiful. Noticed it started getting busy and most of the customers were senior citizens. Possibly coming from Gozaba Civic Center. Our waitress very attentive. Prices are very decent.

Didn't enjoy the meal. Refried beans tasted weird, eggs not cooked to over-medium, burned tiny pieces of charcoal were all over the eggs. In my old restaurant, i would've fired the cook for presenting a dish like that. The staff was alright - not their fault. Place looked clean, except out table. I would try them one more time before calling it quits.

Been going since they opened, I really enjoy the food and especially the prices. The waitresses are a little slow, food portions are not as much, the cook sometimes makes mistakes with the food order.... but the food is really good when its as it is suppose to be. The carne quisada is sometimes hard and thats everytime I order it. Other than that its great for the price. They now have expanded so apparently they are DOING GREAT for business. Hopefully they dont raise their prices and become overrated like other mexican restaurants.

From the moment I walked in it smelled musty and there were flies EVERYWHERE, I tried to ignore it but the service was also terrible, I was asked to order without ever being handed a menu. When I got it the waitress stood over us as I looked it over. I couldn't wait for the food simply because there was NO customer service and it came 25 minutes late, a simple shrimp cocktail and puffy taco order. Dont waste your time, Jalisco Taqueria # 5 on Zarzamora is much better and it only took 15 minutes for everything.

Food was good. Service I can't rate to good. I was shocked when I saw the cashier/waitress help herself to a tip. After the elderly woman paid and didn't write one in she decided to take it join herself to write a tip in herself. Went to a birthday party there and they had ordered beef and chicken fajitas where are the sides of rice and beans. Well I never seen fajitas that look like hamburger meat and I've never seen chicken fajitas that look like chicken hamburger meat they were mixed together. Their beans were okay The rice? The only thing I could eat was the corn tortilla that was good and the water was good too. Just glad I didn't have to pay for the food or should I say the slop

First time and last time ever!! Order mexican plate came with a taco hamburger meat did not taste like hamburger meat, the waitress kept asking us is everything alright over and over. I left my whole plate and for it to be a special it came out to $20 not that I'm complaining but our plates were like $5.99 ea , chips n they charged not free, a Mexican Coke, and Tea that is not a special never again. Sewer odor in the back . Food is very disgusting!!!

Great place for family or on a dinner date. Casual laid back atmosphere and the food is awesome! No matter what you order from thier menu you'll be pleased! The cheeseburger and fries is delicious! And the fried fish is spot on all the time. And he mecixan food is authentic! From the cup of home made fidello they bring you an appetizer to the fluffy flour tortillas and special home made salsa you're sure to enjoy this place on any day of the week.

I sat down nobody acknowledged me untill finally after awhile the lady came up look like she was in a bad mood no hi hello nothing anyway I ordered carne guisada plate horrible! Nothing but fat and meat was tuff I complained and again no sorry I didn't want to pay maybe only for my tea but this restaurant need to hire better cooks or get trained on how to cook $11 wasted just horrible experience not setting foot in this place again!

Rude and always mix up orders, will steal change and say they gave it to you. When you tell them you want your change they will threaten to call the police then when agree that they should they will then just ask you to leave. The tables are dirty, restrooms are nasty, found hair in food on top of being robbed

Went on Monday April 19 and they missed something I ordered and went Tuesday April 20 and missed two tacos. I call and spoke to Erica she the one that took my Oder . She said if I can go back or go the next day and she will give me my two tacos she missed . She lied and I want that she worked today and the Manager said she can’t replace them because Erica was off after she told me yesterday she worked today.

Food was good, service was great, i don't know why all the napkin reviews. I had a whole box of napkins on my table and so did every other table in the place.

Food wasn't too good. I ordered the fish combo and my husband ordered the ribs. My fries were under cooked, fish over cooked and they placed my toast on top of my salad so the bread was soaked. My husband's ribs looked and tasted like they were from a day or two before. The only reason I give it 2 stars is because the service was good besides that we won't be returning.

The price is reasonable for the service. TWICE I've ordered BEAN AND CHEESE WITH BACON, the first time, i got bacon and cheese, no bean, and just now i got egg, cheese and bacon. When the girl repeated my order clear as day. then when I call to speak with a manager, SHE'S NOT IN, that she'll be in after 8am, then i call after 8am, she is still not in.

Found this place by accident. Read they had pupusas on the menu and I wanted to try. My favorite food is pupusas and I was so disappointed with what they served me. It was fried pork rind bits just sprinkled in there with mixed cheese. They took it back. I'll continue to look for pupusas elsewhere. More

I guess today was not a good day for the staff. The place was not clean and it took 25 minutes for us to get our order. It was their daily special of carne guisada and a caldo de res. We use to like coming here but won't be anymore. Waitress was rude to the point of telling my husband let's go!

My family and I had lunch here last weekend. The food was excellent and the waitresses were very attentive to their customers. If you want extra attention and want food to taste like Mom's home cooked meal, stay at home and cook yourself. Nothing will ever taste like your own home cooked meals.

I came across this restaurant and I was surprised. Iove the mixture of the dishes and diversity of plate choices. Food is delicious with fast service and the prices are incredible. Now this restaurant is one of my favorite places to stop, when I am in town. I definitely recommend this place.

Request a picadillo taco with cheese and the taco had two pieces potatoes and no cheese. The ground meat look like it was cooked 5 days ago.took a picture on my phone of the taco and presented to them about they mistake and they only gave me 50 cent back.Instead of a fresh taco.

Waited 15 minutes on one occasion and never was acknowledged. There were three waitresses just standing and talking when we walked out. It was pretty slow at the time. It never had happened before. This time I went through drive thru. Food is excellent.

We ordered a family order of fried fish and a side order of fried shrimp. The fried food was great. My fiancee ordered a beef fajita taco as well. She was not fond of the meat used for her taco. The service was wonderful. Our waitress was very helpful.

Drive thru order was taken and repeated correctly. On receiving the order, a check found 2 taco orders wrong. When presented with the error, the clerk said she will sell the taco mistake instead of exchanging the error. That's not like them before.

The food was so bad and they missed things from my order. I had ordered a chili rellano and got a empanada. I also ordered guacamole and it was so salty there was no way I could even have it. Would not recommend at all.

Fried fish is awesome, but their tartar sauce is the best, homemade! I usually call ahead, my food is always hot and ready to go. The waitresses are super friendly, great place to grab lunch or dinner.

Service was very slow. 3 other tables came in after we had placed a simple order of breakfast tacos. Nothing special. The other 3 tables placed their orders, got food and left before we got our order.

Thought we were gonna get some good food according to the reviews nah. ,the waitress wasn't very attentive, the menudo had no flavor and wasn't cooked all The way!!! The whole experience was awful!!!!
