I was desperate to find a dress for a special occasion for our daughter and then her wedding two days later. The original dress I was planning on wearing didn't work out. Emily, the employee, was darling and so attentive. She gave me her opinion to find a dress for our daughter, which she loved, and she helped me find a dress that I felt beautiful in. Emily was incredibly patient and helpful. I ended up going back to the store two more times because of the sale going on. Emily was there every time and as polite, attentive and helpful as she was the first day. Having employees like her get people like me, not fans of shopping, to want to go into the store.

I found a particular blouse I really liked, and the employee working was so friendly and helped me into a dressing room. I had my newborn son with me, and she was so kind to go and grab me a different size so I didn’t have to run back and forth with the stroller. While trying on the blouse, my son started to get fussy and I could tell he needed to eat. The employee was so gracious and said I could continue using the dressing room to nurse my son. I was incredibly grateful, and was also so pleased that there was a comfy chair in the dressing room that I could nurse in. So - aside from the cute clothes, the staff is also lovely!

City Creek Downeast was beyond WONDERFUL!!!! We had the employee by the name of :Christina who helped us pick out a nice outfit for my birthday. She was over the top helpful, kind, cheerful and educated on her store product. Her demeanor was so pleasant. She spoke with my boyfriend and I as we tried on outfits and got to know us so that we felt like she really cared about who we were. We ended up finding the perfect outfit and my birthday and overall shopping experience ended on such a positive note. Thank you Christina for being so wonderful to us. You're ROCKSTAR!!!!!! :)

Bummed to write this review. I stumbled upon this store when I was at City Creek for business outfits for an upcoming trip. I had a nice time and found several fun outfits. I came back to return an unworn top and also brought with me a top I had worn that completely shrank after 1 wash, to the point I can’t wear it. The women at the store completely dismissed me, showed zero empathy, wasn’t kind and essentially said too bad. I know it’s an abnormal situation but due to that experience I will not be returning and instead shop at brands that care a bit more.

The store was very well maintained and the employees were friendly except for one. When my sister and I went to check out the employee wasn't very friendly towards us. She was very friendly to the two girls checking out in front of us but she couldn't be bothered with us. She was making small talk and laughing with the customers in front of us but wouldn't even look us in the eyes. I understand everyone has their bad days but it felt very awkward and uncomfortable. However, I'm willing to give the store another chance in the future.

Such a fun spot to shop! The employees were friendly and helpful but not overbearing (which was lovely!) and the variety of clothes to try was fun! I had my 8yo daughter with me, and she was looking at the beautiful jewelry displays. The employees didn’t stress or make her feel like she was naughty for picking up the necklaces to show me excitedly how beautiful they were. I appreciated that. It was a warm and stress free experience. Will definitely go back next time I’m in Utah.

The employees were SO helpful. One of them put extra tops on my fitting that she thought I might like and they both helped me pick what to buy. I wasn't sure about one top and they asked me questions to help me make a decision. I said it didn't feel like me and they said don't buy. I really felt like they cared about me actually liking and being excited about what I was buying. It honestly was one of the best shopping experiences I've had.

I can usually find something I want at down east. This time, at city creek mall location in slc, I found a gold eyelet top that will be fantastic with a skirt. It was on sale, however cost more than it should. $43.20 instead of $55. Rather pricey. Although I like their clothes and have bought a lot in the past, some of the fabrics don't wear so well. Cheap. Throw away. I don't like that and feel like, for the price, they can do better.

We went to the store in the City Creek mall. Mehe was very helpful. Kristen was especially helpful!! I took my twin girls shopping for their 13th birthday. Kristen really helped us choose some cute outfits and shoes. I am not a cool mom with a good fashion sense. My girls were so happy to have Kristen helping them! The store and dressing rooms were very clean. Easy to navigate. Lots of clothing and accessories to choose from

The girl that helped me was very sweet and kind but the manager was steaming clothes and I felt she was quite rude to two people that came in to sell some type of advertising. Instead of steaming clothes she could of been helping other customers that need help and could of very kindly told the two people that she wasn’t interested. She was more worried about her steaming then helping customers. I thought she was rude!

I found so many good deals at this store. The sales associates were so helpful and kind about sharing items that would pair well with skirts and pants for myself and my friends. They went out of their way to make sure we had a good experience in the store. They were all wearing clothes from the store as well which made me confidant that they were good and cute styles. I really enjoyed my shopping experiences there.

I went to Downeast to go Christmas shopping. I found a few sets of clothes that I liked but the sizes they had were too large. The attendant was very helpful and managed to find the same jeans and tops with the right size and even found others with a similar style in the same size for me! Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I really do not enjoy shopping; the attendants made this nice and easy for me.

I was very pleased with my experience at Downeast. The Manager was very pleasant and extraordinary in her success in managing not only a pleasant experience for me but all patrons in the store. As the traffic grew in the store she was able to provide a welcoming experience while maintaining 1:1 for my shopping experience. This type of customer service is a lost art and I was very happy to see it.

All locations seem to be friendly and professional. (Lisa) at the City Center Location was absolutely excellent when I asked her to look for another size. Awesome customer service. Clear, sweet voice and very willing to help me locate a clothing piece by calling her other locations herself. Bar none! the best!

Mihi helped us, and she was delightful to work with. She treated us like we were best friends, and she went out of her way to make sure the clothing we bought fits perfectly and looks good on us. The store is clean, and there fitting rooms are roomy. We will definitely be going back to the store to shop!

The lady who helped my mom and I out was incredibly helpful! When something didn’t work for us, she was great at giving us other ideas and assisting us the entire time. Made shopping a breeze and fun. Would definitely recommend if nothing else than for the cashier who helped us. She deserves a raise ;).

The City Creek Downeast is so nice! The gal working was very friendly and helpful! I love Downeast and have been a loyal customer for many years but since they stopped having their regular sales this past summer, I very rarely shop there anymore and I know so many that feel the same way.

My visit was good. The staff was wonderful. My only complaint is that Downeast does not carry enough of their larger sizes. I was told they only stock 1 XXL size in each item of clothing. Once that one is purchased, they don't have options for that size. I'm not sure why they do that.

Great selection of clothing, I really like all the styles. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I found several pieces I really liked, but unfortunately none of them washed well. I was pretty disappointed in the quality for the price.

The store manager at city creek was extremely helpful and so pleasant to be around. I was so impressed with her service and happy energy that it makes me want to go back and shop with her. Please let her know that SHE (Mehi) is amazing!

Sales Associate was helpful, had a sense of humor, and was accommodating. The store has a wonderful selection of dresses, skirts, casual etc. The colors and styles are perfect for the seasons! Will always return to this store!

Beautiful dresses! They are short on staffing, so the girl who help me out on Thursday 14 th at city creek, she was so kind and proactive person, trying to help and handle the store by her self.
