This place has the absolute worst medical service I have ever received in my life... I was told over the phone I could go in as a walk in and nobody was waiting as a walk in ahead of me.Once I arrived, the lady at the front must have misunderstood me. For some reason she said seven people have been in the office as walk ins today, when I just asked how many was ahead of me as walk ins at the time. After the third time she said nobody was. I informed them, I was there due to I had a hard time breathing and was in need of a breathing treatment from my asthma. The nurse that came to take my vitals was very polite and professional. She came in and Informed me I had a balance due. I informed her that was inaccurate and have tried to contact their office several times with no call back. The office tried telling me it was for one specific reason (which was not true), when I told her I've never been seen for that at this office she said I was wrong. So then the guy up front (I believe was Robert) said it was for something different (not what I was just told it was wrong about, SMH). Even though this charge was BS and the second time they tried getting payment twice out of me, I said I'd pay it and this visit would be my last time coming here. I then went back to my room expecting to get this breathing treatment so I could feel better. That's when a new nurse came in named Ricky. I heard him in the hall talking with the staff saying "hes in the room now? I'll take care of it". Ricky comes in with what seems to be an unpleasant attitude and starts asking me questions. One of the normal questions he didn't like my answers to. Ricky then started to be very condescending. I tried politely explaining to him, I was answering his question and why. Again being very disrespectful Ricky starting trying to argue with me and then tell me "to not argue with him". He kept going so I stood up and told him "he was done. I had enough and would not be treated this way". I informed them, I need to be reimburse for the visit and would not be seen here today. As I'm waiting for reimbursement, Ricky has the nerve to come back up trying to start more issues with me. Again, now having more than enough, I would no stand for it. He comes staring at me as asks "if I have a problem?". I told him yes I do and he's my problem along with the way this practice operates. He says I can leave, so I told him, what do you think I'm standing here for a reimbursement for??? He then wants to try to start becoming hostile. Again he just doesn't get that I will not be treated this way. Making a huge issue, which made the whole office of patients on edge. I will never come back to this place again, nor would I recomend it to my enemies. I decided to leave to Southwest Medical to get my treatment which is where I should have came back to in the first place. Not only did Southwest get me in a lot faster than Forte, but was extremely professional and polite. Even my wife feels off by this practice (Forte)with her own experiences. I strongly urge people to take caution with the Forte practice if you feel you must go here.........

If I could give ZERO stars I would! The only good thing about this office is Joe the PA and the hours. They require an office visit for every refill. there is no reason my pharmacy cannot call and request a refill. The first time i was there I waited 3 hours. I went to the desk and told them I would not wait any longer and that it was crazy to make anyone wait that long like i had nothing else to do. They took me right in and when the Nurse practiioner came in she was flustered and I could tell she was already over that day. She barely did a physical, if you even call it that. She gave me the refills and referrals I needed and sent me on my way. I recently had my annual blood work done there and they could not find my records. When they finally did, all i wanted to know was if they were normal or if there was anything abnormal. The girl at the front desk said she could not release any information because she could not know it was me calling! I then had to explain to her that there is a reason you ask for patient identifiers on the phone even when making an appointment. It's the same thing as calling the bank. She said it's a HIPPA thing and could not. Clearly no one in that office knows ANYTHING about how HIPPA really works. I had a conversation with the office manager that got me nowhere. So basically they want you to come in for any little thing so they can collect your co-pay. This has nothing to do with you as a person or your well being. And tell me how in God's name I saw her practice on the top family practices in the valley for 2019? Seriously? Who took that bribe?

Dr. Forte, Great doctor. The staff or whoever handles the appointments/referrals not so much. I haven't experienced to rude staff I am reading about in the reviews but every single time I need a referral, it is not handled correctly. And I mean EVERY SINGLE TIME!! I have had the hiccups for over 10 weeks now. I asked for a referral for an endoscopy appx 3-4 weeks into these hiccups and I had to keep calling only to have no one get back to me. When I finally reached someone and asked them what was going on with it the checked and it was still in the doctors basket and they said she hadn't even looked at it yet. After about 2.5 weeks of waiting I physically went into the office to find out what happened and I was lucky to catch her assistant and I'm sure she recognized my name from all the messages and calls. I politely asked again for my referral and within 5 minutes she had it ready for me but she had someone else bring it out. Maybe she was that busy or she that I was gonna be angry but I never saw her again. I politely told the tech that brought it to me "Just so you know, your friend that asked you to bring this to you set you up!!" That being said, I don't wanna leave but I have to. Believe these reviews.

Staff never answers phones, if appointment needed, you have to go in to schedule a appointment. Staff is unprofessional and rude. Dr's leave examining room without hearing patients complaint. I am also waiting for chest x-ray and BRCA test results from over one month ago. I have not heard about either one. It's 3 days since I originally complained about the office and I'm still not able to get through to them. I need more tests done and a referral to a specialist but I can't without getting through to the Dr. If I didn't have to pick a ratings it would be 0. I will be putting in a complaint with the medical board if things aren't fixed this week. Today is 1-8-2023 Today is 4-25-2023 I finally saw the Dr about 2wks ago. I got my chest x-ray results back showing that I did have pneumonia 3mos ago. The office phones were supposedly fixed but once again we and pharmacys also our insurance company are not able to get in contact with the office. Something needs to be done to fix the Forte Family practice offices.

Warning!! Called to schedule appointment, scheduler said there’s opening at 4 pm I said perfect I was certain I just needed to give urine sample for uti. Arrived at 3:56 signed in they said dr assistance Greg would be calling from right door of lobby. At 5:05 I went and asked was he back there doing surgery as no one was calling for right door patients, they said no he’s running a little behind. At 5:25 I said I can’t do this another minute even if next in line with an appointment I’d be called back and sit in a room for god knows. They herd the people thru there. In the 1.5 hrs i sat and waited i am sure close to 40-45 people came in, left with more streaming in. Now do the math i can only imagine the $ billed to ins co and you would think they either get more physicians, assistants, better office managers or simply a better system!! NO one should wait with an appointment that amount of time. Unacceptable, unprofessional, will never go back.

Great doctor! My wife had an allergy reaction to Penicillin and I had to take her to an ER. They gave her a shot of Benadryl and that was it. I asked about steroid treatment as this had happened before and the doctor said that there was no need. We went home hoping it would get better and it didn't. Next Sunday morning my wife got worse. I called Dr. Dana Forte for an advice and she immediately offered help even she was out of state on vacation! She said what I thought the first doctor should have done in the first place. Dr Dana gave her some steroids treatment and right away within an hour the rash started going away!! Thank you for your help! I attached 2 photos. Before and after 1 hour of steroid treatment!

Dr. Forte is an awesome Dr. Who takes time with you to ensure all your questions are answered. I can't say the same for the staff! a lot of them are rude, they are very short when you ask a question. I do think someone needs to do something with these group of girls (office staff - front desk). So far all the nurses that assist with taking blood pressure etc. are pretty nice. LONG LONG wait times at this office, you need to give yourselves at least 2 hours at the office from start to finish. I even think a walk in is faster. I also experienced no follow up with blood work which was a bit serious in my situation. I went over 3 months with an infection. I do hope they improve soon as I really like the Dr.

If you are looking to do prevention to keep your health up to par, don’t go here. If you’re looking to find out what’s wrong with you so you CAN get better, don’t go here. Dr. Dana Forte and her staff is the worst ever! Incompetent, bad attitudes...no patient etiquette at all!!! Poor customer service over the phone & that’s just setting up an appointment! I couldn’t switch to another medical facility fast enough. Unfortunately, I already given them 2 years of my time to see if it’d get better, it only worsened. It’s all about the Benjamin’s (money) with this place. I do want to give credit to 2 staff members there, don’t know their names but they were sweet.

Had a doctors appointment on 11/15 and afterward was walked down the hall to get labs done. No one informed me that this was a different business inside the same building. I go back for my follow up on 12/29 to find out after 30-40 minutes of sitting in a room by myself that they don't have my labs and that I showed up to my appointment for nothing. (but they would graciously give me a free appointment) One would expect a doctors office to be a little more prepared for an appointment that they scheduled and not try to waste my time on something that should have been done right the first time. Highly do not recommend this office and will not be returning.

I have been an ever-so-grateful patient of Dr. Forte's for nearly a decade, she is our family physician, also to several others I know, and she is a mother as well. She is the most attentive, caring, detail-oriented, excellent doctors I've ever had the pleasure of knowing (and, trust me, I've had a plethora of unexpected medical problems over the years). She is open and honest (surprisingly some patients aren't receptive to that). I look forward to every visit and have 100% faith in trust that my body, mind, and soul are in good hands with Dr. Forte and every member of her staff. Also a shout-out to FNP Wendy Martinez! Thank you all!

The office staff is very incompetent. I received a vaccine in October and it has still not been updated to the WebIz website. I received a vaccine from Walgreens in October as well and it was updated to site. I’ve called the office twice and they said they would take care of it. That was a lie. At the Cheyenne office you have to wait forever to be called to pay your copay, to be called back into a room, and then wait forever for the Doctor to come in and see you; only to see you for a second and send you on your way. None of the staff wash their hands when they come in or leave the room. This is the worst Doctor I’ve been to.

I left an online review stating the drs were great, but the office staff was horrible. When I arrived for my appointment, Dana Forte hijacked me and asked to meet with me alone. She threatened to sue me for slander and for “ruining her practice”. I stated, “slander is something untrue.” And she said I could continue my appointment. Did not return. That lady is out of her mind. Has she threatened to sue anyone else for saying her office staff is “the worst office staff in the valley”?

Absolutely abysmal. Never have I been so frustrated with a doctor. It has been well over a month since I was given a prescription and I have yet to be able to get that filled due to the incompetence and extreme lack of communication from the medical assistant and front office staff. Don’t waste your time with this office if you value your health.

  • Debbie & Jerry Dickinson

I have been going to Forte for a year. Thought they were good enough. Then they changed policy. I was told to return in 6 months. Only had 3 month med supply. Have to make appointment to get refills. So I, not knowing of change ordered meds anticipating renewal. By time I learned of change I was out of pills. Appointment was week away. Idiots.

  • Miguel Narvaez

The worst practice in town.they’ll change doctors without any notification (and of course, because of Covid). They won’t return your calls at all.“ now I know why patients are very rude to the management team, nobody deserves to be treated with disrespect, but the way this staff works , is hard fora patient not to lose it.

  • Stephanie Long

You would think after so many negative reviews, the medical board would investigate this doctor's office. You would be better off seeing Dr. Seuss than this place! Someone please tell Joseph Eafrate he is only a PA and not an MD! His bedside manners are horrible and no patient should ever have to experience him!

  • nigel macrae

I am very happy with Dr Forte as my primary doctor. Her ability to manage my complicated medical issues is top of the line. She is very knowledgeable but she does listen too. Sometimes getting a timely appointment is difficult but I know that everyone wants to be seen by the best. I highly recommend her.

  • Janet Gocsik

Dr. Forte is not only knowledgeable and professional she takes time to explain care options and answer all questions. She's very personable and makes sure you receive the same high level of care from any other physicians she refers you to. Her office staff reflect the same quality service as Dr. Forte.

  • Leslie Lilla

Be prepared to wait no less than an hour. Then be prepared for the office staff not to get back to you or be dismissive to you. This office is a complete disgrace to the practice of medicine! Dr. Forte has heard numerous complaints regarding her staff and does nothing to correct the problem.

  • Teri Aldaz

The front office staff is extremely rude and unhelpful. You would think they would show a little customer service, compassion and respect for their patients but sadly that is just to much to expect. Dr. Forte is a good doctor but unfortunately her staff is bringing her clinic down.
