Quality has dropped- do not order designers choice unless you want dead flowers in a depressing grouping. I ordered two $100 florist choice to be delivered to an employee's home (she was ill) and the second for a large meeting at our office. The employee at home received a beautiful arrangement and was happy (second photo-colorful pretty arrangement). The order received at the office was pathetic- gas station flowers looked fresher. ( Photo one) There is no way anyone would have paid $100 for the arrangement. I was shocked it made it out the door. I called and asked for a quality arrangement like the other employee received. The staffer advised a different employee had done the arrangement for the pretty arrangement. I would guess revenge or payback was the motivation for the replacement order- it was worse with more dead flowers and resembled what you would find in the bargain bin at the grocery store for flowers already bloomed. Order three arrives and it is OK- again, not close to the quality of the home arrangement/past orders and would not sell for $100 in a display case at the storefront. In their defense, order three did arrive before the end of the day, I suspect it arrived so they could bill my card. I paid a premium to recognize an employee who went above and beyond this year and did not want to give a "second best- OK arrangement". In the end I did not give the replacement flowers. I should have gone to whole foods after the first order arrived. I thought customer service skills would kick in and a nice replacement order would arrive….I was wrong. The staff was awful , I have used them for years and this was the first complaint I lodged. They were defensive. The second arrangement was sent in spite to "punish me" for complaining. I was told droopy/dying/already opened flowers were in style! I did not see any of this “style” on the webpage. Photo one is the arrangement I sent back, photo two is the one we kept. They are not equal- buyer beware….you do not know what you will receive, the only certainly is poor customer service and $100 charge regardless of quality.

I had a very last minute special request for a floral design and delivery for my Mothers birthday and due to the time difference of me being in Los Angeles, I was struggling to find someone to help me. Fortunately, my sister that lives in Dallas recommended Dr. Delphinium Designs and Events as its her favorite floral design in Dallas. I tried the website and couldn't have same day delivery for what I was looking for again, due to the time difference until I called and Dawn answered the phone. I was so worried that I had got caught up in my work that I had missed sending my amazing mother flowers for her Birthday. Dawn changed all of that and erased all of my concern instantly! She was so kind and understanding and jumped into action and made my late mistake(again due to the time difference) feel as if it were nothing and instantly helped me make this happen for my mothers special day. Not only did Dawn make me feel the true essence of hospitality and empathy, she was able to get the most beautiful arrangement made and delivered to my mother at work before her office closed for the night! She helped me make my mother feel loved and special, not to mention erased all stress for me sitting 1600 miles away. Dawn has now made me a Dr. Delphinium Designs and & Events fan and patron for life. Thank you baby sister for the introduction and thank you to Dawn and the person that made the gorgeous floral arrangement, resulting in a very happy Mother on her birthday.

I, personally, have use d Dr. Delphinium for years and raved about their flowers. I told my grandson that's all I wanted for Christmas 2022. He was coming for Christmas so he saw the flowers. When the arrangement arrived I was shocked because I had told Wilson, my grandson how creative their designers are. I wasnt sure how to respond because I did not want to hurt his feelings. Later on that day he said that he expected more, given what they charged and how how they looked. I told him that was very pleased because I could tell how disappointed he was. Not only was I disappointed, I was furious. They were awful. The minute he left, I threw them in the trash. The reason it took me so long to write is because I literally did could not think or talk about this without getting upset. Today I wanted to send flowers to my doctors for discovering a life- threatening mass that saved my life. I started to give another chance and just could not do it. I suggest that you ask Dr. D to send you a picture of what they are about to deliver or you willexperience the myriad emotions I felt when your "go to" florist fails you! I ordered flowers from the UK for my wife who was visiting clients in Dallas after a recommendation. The flowers were beautiful well presented. However, after speaking to someone on the telephone and giving word for word what I wanted written in the 2 cards that were sent with the flowers, there were spelling mistakes and phrases I didn’t ask to be put in the card! Not very professional in my opinion. I was also asked when I would like the flowers delivered to the hotel…as my wife wasn’t due to check in until after 9pm on the delivery day I asked for a delivery as late as possible to ensure the flowers were as fresh as possible. I was told that wasn’t a problem and delivery would be the last delivery after 4pm…I received an email that day to confirm delivery was actually made 11:50am Anyway it was all sorted after another phone call to complain and luckily the flowers were still fresh when my wife got there and I got a refund on the cards. Disappointment on the first time I’ve used this company

I used Dr. Delphinium Designs & Events for our wedding floral and I cannot say enough amazing things about them! I worked with Caylen & she was FANTASTIC! She was so responsive to my emails, calls, & constantly went above and beyond to keep things in our budget and make our vision really come to life! I was clueless when it came to wedding floral to be honest & I was a little overwhelmed when I first met Caylen. She made me feel so comfortable & at ease with the entire process, and not once did I feel pressured to go with anything that was out of budget or did not want/like. My bridal bouquet/bridesmaids bouquets were so stunning! I had SO many compliments on the entire floral throughout the wedding & I just couldn't have picked a better florist to go with. I never once stressed that things wouldn't be the way I wanted them, or anything else. If you're looking for a wedding florist, PLEASE give them a call or set a meeting. You won't regret it. They are all so nice, friendly, & accommodating !

My grandparents 77th wedding anniversary was this past Thursday (2-1) and I decided to try Dr. Delphiniums. I own a flower shop in Alabama and had visited their store at Christmas when we were in Dallas visiting. The store was beautiful, the arrangements were stunning and the staff was friendly. Based on this, I sent them the order. What was sent was disappointing. I asked for something short and low as my grandparents do not have much room in their house for something large. I got that. I received a turd brown vase with tulips, unopened stargazer lilies, spray roses and seeded eucalyptus crammed in the vase. There was no design to it and it was underwhelming. I sent a total of $100.00 that was to include delivery. For that kind of money I was expecting a bit more especially after I saw the beautiful arrangements that came out of the store at Christmas. I hate leaving reviews like this and I know they have talented designers but on my grandparents flowers, they missed the mark.

My favorite florists in the Dallas area!! I’ve ordered from Dr. D a few times every year for the past 4 years, and they never disappoint! Their flower arrangements are on the pricier side ($10-15 above average), but it’s definitely worth it because their flowers are very aesthetic and give off modern and ✨classy✨ vibes compared to other florists. Employees are also pretty friendly. The only time I had to contact customer service was when my delivery for Valentine’s Day was botched by a third party delivery company (they hire extra help during peak holidays). They quickly apologized and sent me an expedited order, free of charge. Ideas for management: - consider rolling out dynamic shipping prices, based on distance. Delivery addresses less than 3 miles away still get charged $15 for shipping - new loyalty program was a good idea; in the future, maybe add reward tiers, redeemable rewards, or birthday freebies to incentivize continued relationship with customers

I was thoroughly impressed with my purchase from Dr. Delphinimum, as was my wife who received the flowers. The flowers were beautiful and vibrant, and most importantly, very fresh. They had a great selection of original arrangements with options to customize. Even before seeing the product, I was sold on their optional delivery windows. My wife was going to be tied up in meetings during the last half of the day and I needed to make sure they arrived before noon. Dr. Delphiniums had an option to deliver before noon, and they arrived with plenty of time to spare. I also liked the confirmation email letting me know they had been delivered. As most people who've ordered flowers for someone knows, wondering if a delivery has been made or wondering if it'll deliver on-time can be nerve-racking! Dr. Delphiniums took the uncertainty out of the purchase and delivered a fantastic bouquet. Thanks so much!

Dr Delphinium provided the arrangements for my sons funeral. Having the loss of a child is a horrible experience. I have waited to make the review, and have decided I wanted others to not go through what I went through. The flowers were hanging because obviously the arrangements were made several days before the funeral. One of the arrangements was put in a grocery store type vase when I had paid for an expensive and unique vase. What really was upsetting they doubled charged me. In other words they basically floated my money over the weekend as I made them credit my account first thing on Monday following the funeral. I’m thinking maybe they thought I would not be keeping up with my account since I was caught up in all the grief. They did replace the vase and didn’t charge me,,,,, what good did that do as it was after the funeral took place. I will always remember this debacle. A Shelton

I am upgrading my rating to 3 stars. After posting the review, I was immediately contacted by a Customer Relationship rep. My husband's account was fully credited. As an apology for the ruined anniversary day, the company sent a fresh arrangement twice bigger than my husband had ordered originally. ----------------------------------------- My husband ordered a flower arrangement for our anniversary when he was out of town. The arrangement was beautifully designed. Unfortunately, the orchids and hydrangea were not very fresh on delivery (Sunday 7/24/22) and have wilted the next morning (when I am writing this review). In addition, the receipt was attached to the vase... It was not asked for of course, because the online order was fully paid in advance. Very disappointed and asked my husband no to order from this place any more...

Very happy with my recent experience at Dr. Delphinium! Delivery was super fast, within three hours or ordering. This was important to me as a lifelong family friend had passed away while I was out of state. I was concerned because they live in a gated community and I didn't have the code; however, the driver contacted me when he couldn't get in, and he happily waited until he could follow a FedEx truck inside. I really appreciated his follow up call letting me know he was successful! If you want a gorgeous and memorable floral arrangement delivered in Dallas, Dr. D is the GO TO florist. Sure, their prices are higher than competitors, but you absolutely get what you pay for in this case. :0) I can't provide a pic of the arrangement, but I ordered the Blue Nile premium arrangement and the recipient said it was a work of art.

We had the best experience with Dr. Delphinium and their team for our wedding! I worked directly with Caylen who was incredibly patient and knowledgeable! I have very little knowledge about flowers and arrangements, and Caylen provided excellent recommendations! Our arrangements were absolutely gorgeous and literally everything I had envisioned! Everything was beautiful and set up exactly how we wanted it. The flowers lasted all day and even into the weekend. I reached out to Caylen after the wedding for recommendations on preserving flowers and she immediately provided me with companies brides have worked with in the past. I was searching for a florist to deliver flowers to my niece who is in Dallas for her special birthday. I used to live in Dallas, (and now live in beautiful, peaceful Vancouver, Canada), and remembered some of the names of the better stores. Having said that, ordering flowers online, from a different country no less, is not always easy. You worry about quality and on time delivery. I fortunately remembered Dr. Delphinium. The flowers and balloons arrived today, right on time and my niece is over the moon! They're beautiful and did a great job. Although their pricing and delivery costs are a bit high, (reason for a 4 star, not 5 star rating), it is most worth the cost. The quality and piece of mind is worth it.

Dr Delphinium did the flowers for my wedding. The flowers were beautiful and even better was the service I received throughout the planning process. I sent them a lot of emails over a course of a year. And I mean A LOT. I changed this, added that, came up with different designs I wanted. And the entire time they were prompt, professional, and kind. Amy and Sarah really understood my vision and when I sent them photos showing the centerpieces I wanted they pretty much created them exactly like what was shown. And even better was they provided wayyy more flowers than even what I expected based on the quote. And they’ll work with pretty much any budget which is hard to find. I highly recommend.

Dr. Delphinium delights in every way! Two years ago they did the flowers for my wedding and their customer service was FLAWLESS from beginning to end! They went out of their way to meet our design esthetic, budget, timing, and they executed everything with precision and gorgeous arrangements! For the wedding we had them deliver to two locations, transfer arrangements and pew markers to the reception, deliver flowers to the cake designer, set up two venues, and again, flawless! Yesterday I ordered an arrangement to say thank you to a very special person, and the flowers were delivered today on time and absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Thank you Dr. Delphinium!

I worked personally with Alex D. and her team to create the florals for my wedding. She was extremely professional and detail oriented, working tirelessly to get within my budget. I had several back and forth's trying to get what I wanted for my budget and she worked with me on everything - never frustrated, just always working to give me the best! On the wedding day, the bouquets and centerpieces were more than I could imagine! She didn't skimp on anything and gave me full-looking bouquets that made beautiful centerpieces. I cannot recommend them enough! Worth every penny and I had several compliments on how beautiful the arrangements were.

I ordered an arrangement for my wife's bday in the morning. Girl taking the order said it would be delivered by end of day but never gave me a delivery window. Worked from home in anticipation of seeing my wife's reaction once her arrangement showed up. Nothing showed up. Called twice to check on the status of the delivery. 1st call, I was told it was on a vehicle and on its way. 2nd call, close to 6pm, Dr Delphinium rep claims it was delivered at 1:45pm and was left at doorstep. We had nothing. I requested a full refund and will never consider using them again. Thanks for ruining my wife's bday surprise Dr. Delphinium.

When we had to cancel my sister's wedding in Virginia scheduled for October, i didnt know who to call to help make her special day at the Justice of the Peace a little more special. My cousin recommended Dr. Delphinium, and they did not disappoint! What was going to be a quiet plan b, turned into a lovely wedding in a nearby park, with family attending on Zoom, and a few sweet girlfriends ambushing the couple to serve as a wedding party, and the most beautiful, perfectly colorful fall bouquet, that is now immortalized in our family photos forever. Very disappointed, I was unsure of what I wanted so I looked on website. Henry was nice and gave me options I said I wanted mostly white some being roses with lavender. I even gave name of a couple of things I saw on website.was told design team would make it nice I asked could see picture of finished product said yes I got bill and delivery confirmation I had to call and request picture twice more lavender than white and looked half dead. I’m on fixed income don’t have desire to pay for something not even reasonably what ordered why didn’t send picture before delivered?new customer wouldn’t be happy

They forgot my order. Even though they called the day prior to confirm and let me know they were missing some of the specific flowers I ordered, they said they were working on it. Then when my husband showed up the next day to pick it up, they had no idea what he was talking about and hadn’t even started on my order. He sat there for ages and finally had to come home. They said they would deliver it but my party started soon after pick up so the flowers were late and the delivery guy arrived after the guests were already there. And worst part is they offered ZERO concession to try to make up for it!!

So happy to have discovered the most amazing and professional florist in the city. The customer service is like no other; from walking into their store to getting my wedding bouquet delivered to my doorstep, my experience was extremely pleasant. The team was extremely supportive and patient with me through the long decision making process as I was getting two of them . They were also really good at communicating and even shared the final look with me ahead of time for any additional changes I may want. They really did make me feel special and the flowers were just breathtaking! I felt like a Queen!

I contacted Dr. Delphinium in March 2022 with an unusual request—I needed floral arrangements for two weddings set to take place during WrestleMania weekend. I only gave the team a little over a week of notice, but the magicians at Dr. Delphinium delivered an incredible floral display that served as the backdrop for the event, as well as centerpieces and bouquets for the brides and grooms. Throughout the experience they were cheerful, helpful, creative, and just all around amazing. If I lived in Dallas, I would use them for every event I could.

We recently held a private bereavement ceremony for my SIL. I was put in charge of the flowers. My brother wanted lots of flowers because my SIL loved them so. I knew just who to call. Henry was excellent to work with. I ordered around 8 arrangements and was very specific about what I wanted. He was so patient, professional amd anxious to please. I do not live in Dallas but often sends to the DFW area. Whenever and wherever possible, I use Dr. Delphinium for all of the floral gifts to design and deliver flowers to people in DFW. The arrangements are unique and stunning and their customer service is prompt, professional, and friendly. My only regret is that I live outside their area and can’t get flowers from them myself! This is one of my favorite places to get flower arrangements from for anything and everything, the designers here do an absolutely amazing job at putting bundles together for you for any occasion. Even the staff over all is always nice and friendly, and super helpful and knowledgeable. I love that they have tropical/exotic flowers available, you can tell there's great care and pride at what they do here. My flowers from here have always lasted long too, which is a plus in my book.

I walked in around 10AM today looking for a bouquet for my courthouse wedding. The lady who helped us out was very sweet and knowledgeable and was able to help me figure out what to get that would go with my dress. They then turned it around in under two hours, including a bouttoniere for my husband! It was absolutely beautiful and really added the perfect touch to a great day. I came in to choose an orchid arrangement in a certain price range & they said i needed to order a fresh arrangement from the greenhouse in back & so she showed me back to their greenhouse & I was then helped by Tatum who was super friendly & perfectly helpful & she prepared a gorgeous arrangement & the price was exactly in the range i had asked to stay within. So Tatum did a wonderful job & i highly recommend Tatum at Dr Delphinium!

I've been using Dr Delphinium to send my boyfriend surprise gifts for the past 3 years and I will never use anyone else. All of their gift offerings have a more luxury feel to them, like something more special and unique than the offerings of other similar companies. I just used them again today and, as always, the delivery was on time and the items received were just as well put together as the display images they use on their website.

I recently had flowers delivered to a family member and they were as beautiful as advertised. The process was seamless with excellent communication. They were even able to accommodate a late request of change in the order from me. The staff are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I’ve been using Dr Delphinium for years and the outcome has always been exceptional. In summary, they have made me look good on more than one occasion!

Dr. D arrangements are the only flowers my mom will accept for any occasion! Forgot about her birthday and needed a last minute delivery yesterday. Woman on the phone was very friendly and helpful and based on my description gave me a few options. I asked which she liked the best and she recommended the least expensive option as the best option for what I was looking for in my price range. I call that integrity! Highly recommended.

The flowers were beautiful the first day, but were wilting with brown spots on them within 48 hours. Incredibly disappointed they didn’t last longer as this shop came highly recommended. I’ve never written a negative review before, but the bouquet was a gift for my wife’s birthday, and it broke my heart seeing her cry when she had to throw them out after two days. We even followed the flower care instructions from their website!

I ordered these flowers the same day and they arrived so promptly. I believe it took them less than 2 hours for the order to be received and the flowers to be delivered. Best florist in Dallas. All their arrangements are so tastefully and beautifully done. Also it's very easy to customize your order over the phone or online. I called from New York to have birthday flowers sent to my mom and they delivered exactly what I asked for to her office early in the day. I've used them several times and they're consistently great. They're slightly pricier than some other florists, but totally worth it.

Dr. Delphinium has fabulous flowers, creative designs & wonderful arrangements. Unlike other websites, when you order you actually get an exact & identical arrangements as shown on the pictures. Also their customer service on the phone is very professional, courteous and patient. You can absolutely count on them, your order will be delivered on time. I came in a couple of weeks ago because I wanted a dozen roses for my daughter. I have never been so pleased with the service and the quality of the roses. Beautiful but simple arrangement. The time and care that was put into prepping the flowers...I was floored. No vase was purchased because the wrapping was so gorgeous. My daughter loved them. Friendly and affordable. Great job ladies!!!

Have ordered from them multiple times and have only ever had one issue. A Hand Written card I ordered was not included in the order, and after reaching out to their customer service within 30 minutes I heard a response back, offering to get the card out to me by the afternoon or offering a refund for the card. Excellent Arrangements and gifts, but ALSO excellent customer service.

Used them for the past 4-5 years. Usually very nice bouquets. Every now and then it’s hit or miss. The stem count on some bouquets seems a bit low for the price. Not a big fan of the substitute option since there’s not price deduction, and you not know what you’re getting but I’m hoping it’s not stem for stem and price based. Overall I’ll probably keep using them.

Our friend loved the flowers we had delivered to her! They were professional and listened to my wishes when I called to place the order and delivered exactly that. A receipt via e-mail with a description of what was ordered was sent the same day. Once they were delivered, I received a confirmation. A great way to communicate, especially for customers out of town.

Dr Delphinium was GREAT! We tried multiple florists and Shelby particularly was the one who wanted to help us, and understands our needs versus just getting our business. She accommodated all of our requests and even at times made suggestions that were better ideas than what we were thinking, making our floral experience better than we could have ever expected.

They designed my wedding flowers and they were beautiful and fairly priced. I use them all the time to send flowers to friends and family in the DFW area and everyone always is in love with them. Once the chocolates I ordered to go with flowers did not arrive and they made another visit the same day to drop them off. Couldn't ask for anything better!

The flower arrangement is beautiful, but not what i ordered. I ordered an assortment of colored roses, not the red roses, for a reason. My dad had an affinity for roses and this was a gift for my mother on the 1st anniversary of my father's passing. I felt that red roses were romantic and not what I intended for my mother to receive from me.

I ordered flowers online for my mother’s birthday and was NOT disappointed. Not only did I order at 8:30am for same day delivery and get the flowers by 11:30, but the arrangement was full, luscious, and stunning. As I live far away, I love knowing I can use their services for my family in the area and get gorgeous flowers to them quickly.

I purchased the Sweet Cherie gift basket as a thank you present for my sister-in-law and she loved it! I ordered at 10:30pm and it was delivered by noon the next day. I live out of state, so I was a little nervous about sending something sight unseen (other than the photo online), but it was perfect. She said it was the cutest gift ever!

Sarah Franco was absolutely amazing. Her hospitality and attention to details was everything throughout my wedding experience. Her proposal was quick and fast and everything that I wanted it to be. My grandmother just turned 101 and I went to Dr. Delphinium to send her a little something to celebrate her day. They delivered as always. The flowers are beautiful, the staff is fabulous and they always will work with you at any price point. They are always my place to go when I need to send flowers.

I received flowers today and I realize it is one day after Valentine’s Day and perhaps their flower supply was depleted, but the flowers used are the same ones I buy at Trader Joe’s and they were just shoved into the vase. They are already wilting. Not up to Dr Delphinium’s usual high standards.

Each time I have used Dr. Delphinium I have been so impressed with their professionalism and outstanding customer service. Their employees are cheerful and their deliveries are prompt. Their designs are unique and just gorgeous every. single. time. They are are the only Dallas florist I call.

The quality of the flowers used and the arrangement design is incomparable to any other shop. The prices may be a little higher but it is well worth it. Customer service and the website makes it easy to place an order. What you see on the website is what you get and many times better.

I made it to their store right before they closed and they were cool enough to let me walk around and take my time, asked if I needed help, and once I finally made a decision they wrapped it up so beautifully with a card. Thank you for saving the day when I needed last minute flowers!

Surprisingly great quality and selection at their nursery which is located in a back building. The prices were quite reasonable as well. Glad we dropped by last weekend to check it out. Got this wonderful Alocasia Amazonica for $30...pretty good deal and service was excellent!
