I was extremely disappointed on how I was treated today when I went to see her. I've lived here in FW for 3 months and she was the first rude person I've met. She put down on the chart that we talked about things that we didn't. My weight being one of them. She said that we discussed my weight?? Uh no. Not even a little bit. I originally made the appointment to get clearance to have surgery on my back and my Surgeon requested that I got chest x-rays and an EKG and she said at 23? I'll just approve it. Uh...except he needs the results from the chest x-ray and the EKG? And she says well I guess if we have to. Uh yeah we have to! Thats why I'm here! She also had a horrible atitude towards me was that I was wasting her time. No one should feel that way when you're asking for professional help and literally PAYING THEM. It creates distrust of doctors all around. I will not be making her my primary and will not suggest anyone else do the same. Find somewhere that you feel proud to give your money to.

I seen Dr. Grant on Tuesday afternoon. This had been my second time coming to her . First time I had a serious sinus infection. Second time, I had all the symptoms of the flu including a fever while I was there. Dr. Grant looked in my ears and at my throats and said it was my sinuses. She prescribed me antibiotics and told me for everything else just take DayQuil and NyQuil over the counter. She didn't bother swabbing me for the flu and was in the room a total of 2 minutes with me. Went to a different doctor on Thursday to get a second opinion because I was only getting worse by the day. The doctor I went to swabbed me for the flu and it came back positive. I will never go back to Dr. Grant nor refer anyone to her ever. She does not care about her patients. She seems like a doctor that went through all that schooling just to cash a paycheck. Her nurses were more caring and concerned with my symptoms than she was and she misdiagnosed me!! Very disappointed!

I had the opportunity to visit Dr. Karen Grant with my mother who is her patient. Of note, I am an intern physician at John Peter Smith Hospital and have done many stints in primary care as a student and now as a resident. I was extremely disappointed in the way that she conducted the visit with my mother. She was very rude, dismissive, and short regarding my mother's concerns as well as my suggestions. She didn't introduce herself, nor give eye contact when she walked in the room. She was condescending about my mother's efforts towards losing weight, stating "She should just eat less and she already knows that," and "I do not run a weight loss clinic." She refused to give us referrals to proper resources that would augment my mother’s weight loss efforts. Dr. Grant is not culturally competent and I fear for patients who do not have an advocate such as myself. My mother will not be returning to her care. Please proceed with caution.

Making a appointment was useless even though I had a appointment I still had to wait an extra hour and thirty minutes before I was seen. Dr. Grant is unprofessional she came in and out. She looked at the nurses notes and told me to pee in a cup and get blood work and that was it. She didn't even ask me if I had any questions. front desk associates are rude an elderly lady was trying to sign in and the lady at the front told her that she was doing something at the moment and that she would get to her later. As soon as the lady finally got to her seat she told her to come back? The elderly lady had a walker and a oxygen tank she was clearly struggling as everyone could see. The associate could have went to the lady instead of making her come back. I would not recommend

Dr Grant should have her license revoked!!! She does not listen to her patients when they tell her they cannot be on a certain medication because it actually makes them feel like they need to be hospitalized after using it. My father is a type 2 diabetic and needed insulin she took him off all of his diabetic medication's which caused his blood sugar to go up so high he had to be hospitalized for it twice. My father is also in chronic pain which means she should refer to a pain doctor so he can get actual pain evaluation but instead she insist on pushing medications that are being promoted by her office. If you care for yourself and your loved ones do not let her be your primary care doctor.

I read reviews saying " rude "...lol. I think people are mistaken highly PROFESSIONAL with rudeness. I have been treated by this Doctor and her Father for 5 years and I am down to 300 lbs from 478 and all my labs are within range as to they were extremely high and dangerous when I started with them. This doctor is not there to be your buddy or have casual conversation, she is there to treat your health and she does that impeccably. I sought her to be my doctor not a buddy. When health is the concern her no-nonsense very dedicated approach has been a breath of fresh air for me literally, she motivated me to quit smoking as well....so yeah she is fantastic in her field.

HAD TO WAIT OVER 2 HOURS AT THE DOCTORS OFFICE WITH NO END RESULT. I arrived a little before 2:30 and I didn't leave till after 4:30 WITHOUT my blood work simply because I couldn't sit there any more. I made sure to make an appointment and I still was not seen any where near the time of that appointment. I would NOT recommend this facility at ALL. Its honestly insulting how much I had to wait with little to know communication from the staff to let me know what was the issue. It's extremely unfortunate that a doctors office would treat their patients this way.

Nurse Patricia , yeah. I came to this dr, because my partner had a positive experience. However I didn’t have the same experience. She was eager to complete a women’s wellness examination, not realizing she didn’t have gloves. Explained to her this was my first women’s wellness examination and her first question was if I had been inappropriately touched. I felt insulted. The receptionist doesn’t have a pleasant phone interaction either. Which should have been a red flag then. The wait time is a little lengthy. And parking is the biggest hassle.

Reception, nurses all rude. Once I went in with my mother because I am her caretaker and most the time I need to voice what is going on because she tends to withhold information and i am her translator but she CAN at least understand SOME english and the nurses were complaining outside the room not even 10 FT away saying why was I even in the room lol. Dr is very quick, not very informative, and rushed visits. Who wants a 5-10 minute visit with little to no information and rude nurses? This is the place for you.

Unconcerned for the well being of elder patients. Dr. Grant did not give attention to my mother in law. She refused to prescibe antianxiety pills for her fear and depression, she wouldn't give her meidcaiton for her foot fungus. The day after our appointment I had to take my mother in law to urget care. Dr Grant missed that she had a UTI and she had never diagnosed her with AFIB. It took the Dr. at urgent care seconds to detect she has AFIB. Pathetic, unprofessinal, and down right scary.

Dr. Grant to me is professional as well as thorough. I've been her patient since 2001 and I find that she and her staff are caring. Dr. Grant spends as much time with me as is necessary. My husband was her patient and he thought the sun rose and set because of her. He trusted her judgement up to his demise. Everyone in the office treats me with respect and I treat them the same. I have referred people to her and some like her manner and some don't. That's to be expected.

I have a Special need daughter, when dr K. Grant 1st started seeing her she was a little cold, I thought, I Love Dr Grant to Death Now, She deserve 10 Stars instead of 5, every time my daughter goes to see her she wants to buy her a gift. Dr K, Grants smiles light up the room, and she gives HUGS. And I tel all my friends that need a Primary Care Doctor I recommend Dr Grant. Love You Dr Grant for not only being my daughters doctor but her friend. ❤️♥️

I will never go back to Dr. Grant office again. It was my first time going to her office and she wasn't very welcoming, I had to wait for a longe period of time, I didn't understand half of their processes, I sent over my medical records because I need to be referred to a neurologist, but they took a month before gaving me a referral. The fact it took them that long to give me a referral shows my health isn't important.

Only 2 stars reason why is I love Dr. Grant but first impresssions are everything and her Nurse or assistant Norma was very very unprofessional and rude! She did not explain or prepare us for the questions that she was asking And the way she asked them came off very rude and offense! I was not pleased with her at all. But Dr. Grant was great and funny and made it a lot better or we would’ve just found another doctor.

  • meia baker

Do not go to this office! Staff rude, set appointments at one time, tell you another, and then catch attitudes when you inquire about it. Kept me off my blood pressure meds for 4 days only to get to office and deal with rude attitudes! Save yourself the money, time, and stress, find another doctor! *****They also decided to tack on charges bc I wrote this review, all of a sudden a free flu shot cost $40********

My husband Jimmy & I have been going to Dr. Grant for 10 years or more & we love her.. I don't understand some of these negative reviews because we have nothing but the highest praise for she & her staff.. We have never had to wait nor have we experienced any rude behavior.. You negative nancys need to wake up & become positive paulas. It makes you feel better!! Much love to Dr. Karen M. Grant & her staff❣

I used to see Dr Grant when I was a teenager and recently came back in March, I definitely should of stayed away. No one ever seems to offer any help. Everytime I come in and visit Dr Grant I always wind up getting sent away to a “specialist” and for a “scan” or “ultrasound”. Now I just called for some documents and of course i can’t get any help this time. Very unprofessional and unpleasant experiences.

This is from over 2 year of seeing this "doctor" for primary and for pain management after her father passed away. She is by far the rudest and most uncaring person I have ever met in my life. She could careless how your health is at any point. She is completely snotty and snide as though she is better than anyone and she knows it. I literally would recommend seeing anyone else besides this quack!!!!

  • Delaney Davis

Terrible doctor diagnosed with diabetes and was feeling out of my element the first time I saw her. Started feeling good for a month and then it all went downhill and I started feeling the same way. Went back told me lots of sugar in my urine and diagnosed me with sleep apnea....? Had to be a pain in the ass to get blood work done again. What a quack! Lady get a different profession.

I’ve been Dr. Karen Grants patient for years now. She is a very direct & down to earth provider. Her style and the way she handles business, is very inspiring! Great personality for sure. Highly intelligent and definitely recommended to others! 5 stars all the way! Wouldn’t want any other provider on earth. God bless you Dr. Grant!

I have used Dr. Grant for awhile now, and, my wife was one of her first patients and is proud to be her patient for 22 years. She has brought us through lots of terrible health issues for my wife and have sent her to other doctors that were tremendously good in they field. I know my wife would not go to anyone else.

  • Lakesha Hicks

The some of the staff are very rude. I ask if I could leave my phone number for the Doctor to call me back and the lady that I was talking to said no because the Doctor don't call patients. If that is what is needed at the time I don't see how it should be a problem.

  • Rennee Baltimore

I don't believe that she has ever been rude or unprofessional I have seen her and her father since 2013 when I got here and in all my years of being with different doctors they are the best I have had and she has done a lot to help with my health

My orignal doctor died and she took over his practice. I do not feel she listened to me and she rushed me. I had a lot of questions and she did not seem like she really cared.

  • Starla Douglas

Dr. Karen Grant is the worst all she care about is money. I had her for years and she never listened to my complaints. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
