Trash. Went there with some friends for beers. Got my second one and accidently walked out front with my beer thinking that's where the patio was. (A lot of places I've been to have their patio out front). Walked right back in and then out to the patio where it actually was. The bartender immediately showed up and snatched my $8 beer from me and dumped it out accusing me of bringing in a beverage from somewhere else...... In their glass.... that she just served..... Evidently I'm not memorable enough for her to recognize me from the half hour we had been there for. Lol. Chased her down insisting that she pours me a new one. Immediately I was deemed a bad guy by the other employees and threatened. I suggested that we weren't going to pay for items that were thrown away. Then they threatened to call the police if I didn't pay up. Imagine, let's say, if I were an off duty Law Enforcement Officer from another city just trying to unwind with some friends. That would have came off to me as super tacky of them.... Lol. They're going to waste public safety resources in Minneapolis over a beer they dumped out. Real classy. I Emailed the 4 team members of the bar listed on the website hoping for an apology and perhaps a refund. Mistakes happen. I can forgive. No response. I emailed them a second time. I was completely ignored. Avoid this place. There are plenty of other joints in the area that will treat you more respectfully while you're pissing away money on overpriced beer. This one though is absolutely awful. I love feeding my money to places with beer and what looks to be really delicious food. Never had the chance to try it though. Not gonna show back up to a place that likes to steal from me and then ignore my polite requests for accountability. But hey, if you're into places that steal from you and yell at you, this might be the place for you! Cheers.

This place is your typical hole in the wall. We walked in to regulars in a small establishment playing a meat raffle for a lion's charity. You order all drinks and food at the bar and the menu is short and concise. They offer potato chips or potato salad as a side and I got the potato salad thinking it must be awesome if it's the main option. It did not disappoint!! They also have what's called a Dagon burger. I ordered the "best of both worlds" and it was fantastic. I also ordered a Ruben to split with my partner 50/50. The Ruben was good also. The bar tenders were quick and friendly and poured a decent drink. I will be returning!

My favorite place to bum out at for a few hours in NE. Whether it is Saturday night or a Tuesday at 11 AM, Dusty’s is an awesome place to chat with the locals or just stare into a beer and contemplate life’s rich pageant. The live music is almost always great, from full bands to individual artists. I once saw a gal play a one string bathtub thing and it was amazing. The only word of caution: the men’s urinal was clearly designed for Yao Ming as it is way, way too high on the wall. Visit Dusty’s and you will not be disappointed. Also, get here before the apartments next door are done and young professionals ruin it.

Local hole in the wall with a "I just spent the kids college savings on horse races and need a good strong drink before I go home and lie to their mother about it" type vibe. Friendly no judgement type place with people from all walks of life. Best part is it's cheap, and has a decent bit of local live music even though it's roughly the size of a shoebox. I'd suggest urinating in the bushes around the corner before coming in but if you're the type of person who poops in public, I'm sure you'll find the bathrooms just fine. I'd skip the food.

I have been to Dusty's a few times and enjoyed it each time a was there. It is not very big but i always managed to find a spot even on a Friday or Saturday night. They occasionally have live music like a DJ or local band which has always been awesome. I am surprised they can fit a band in there with how small it is but they make it work. I tried a Dago but didn't really like it but thats not to say there was anything wrong with it. You might like it! Beer prices are cheap so i would recommend stopping in.

Not an ideal place to lunch with clients. More of a neighborhood bar. We saw the sign out front advertising famous dago. Sounds good. No server. Bartender seemed uninterested in our presence. Probably just frustrated because I think he was the only person working in the place. Probably won't be back.

One of our favorite places since we moved to the area. Try the food - get the Dagos or the half and half. The potato salad is a must. Staff is friendly but don't ask for "fancy" drinks. They do have a pretty good rail though. Come on a Monday or Tuesday if you need a quiet escape or any other day of the week for some excellent music it is a great place. Hopefully the developers in the area leave this gem alone! A real diamond of the area just as it is!

  • Dustin Tommaro

Dagos we're great the atmosphere was perfect and there was a beautiful.........tv there that I couldn't stop staring at even though my poor girlfriend was getting irritated ,found close and safe parking and even the aces cider seemed a litle tastier then at a bar elsewhere only disappointment being that the wild lost in a shootout to the lowly buffalo sabers and apparently the Italian guy dusty doesn't own it anymore.

  • It's a Me

The staff wasn't exactly friendly but they knew their drinks and kept them stiff. The live music was up close and personal and it was really good. The star though, was their famed dago. It was so good we ordered two! It was juicy with a nice bite and good balance of peppers. Highly recommended. It was a nice divey bar to have a drink without the "good ole boys only" vibe I typically find in Saint Paul.

  • Will Molter

As the neighborhood around it changes at breakneck speed, One thing remains the same - Dusty's. Despite losing their parking lot and being surrounded by the construction of condos on both sides, they remain a throwback to the NE of yesteryear. The drinks are strong and reasonably priced and the dagos are delicious. The soup is noteworthy too. Come through and support what makes Northeast Nordeast.

  • Adam Schmidt

Best sandwich on this side of town. This bar has been a staple food stop for me since before I could even order a beer. Kitchen is open late and the staff is always great. Shout out to Dominick for holding it down! North east flavor, but you'd swear you're in a small Wisconsin bar until you step outside. I hate to call it a dive, but I'd also call it the best dive bar in the metro!

  • Chris Meyer

Great little place with live music and good food friendly people! its small and crowded maybe on the weekends and when I say live music, I don't mean big electric rock bands because it's a tight little spot these wonderful musicians have to play in but all different types of music lots of fun and I have always enjoyed it anytime I've stopped by,check it out!

Great bar in NE with a decent beer selection and good cocktails. The bartenders are great and they have a small patio. Good food, pull tabs and of course a meat raffle every Friday! Just watch out Saturday nights they have a cover and the bands are always very loud for the small space.

I like Dusty's. It unpretentious and all the staff we interacted with were personable, helpful, and we felt at ease chatting at our table. Beside that, they will serve you a Classic Harvey Wallbanger if you ask for it.

Female bartender treated my group of friends terribly. She cut us off when we walked in and asked for shots due to not being able to count how many we needed. We just didn’t know how many were with us in the group. Then she proceeded to make comments and be extremely rude. We will never be back.

Dusty's is a fabulous, hole in the wall, dive (without the disgusting aspects) bar a short drive or bike ride from downtown Minneapolis. During the summer months, enjoy a cute side patio and meat raffle on Fridays. Friendly bartenders and regulars make it one of our favorite go-to spots.

  • Stacy S

Reminds me of a small town bar that managed to survive the growth of the city. They still have a meat raffle. Danced there although there is no dancefloor. Still a good time. Friendly people. As usual, it was a song from the early 2000s where everybody was getting tipsy.

  • Kyle E

Quintessential Northeast. Get a Dago Burger with potato salad and a Grain Belt Premium and you're well on your way to discovering old Nordeast. I think Wednesday is live music (it may be more frequent than that) in the big green booth. Bartender is always super friendly.

  • Bill Sweatt

Dusty's is a great "hole in the wall" NE bar, located on Marshall not far from Broadway near the old Grainbelt Brewery. They feature a weekly Meat Raffle on Sunday's and have local bands play live on a regular schedule. Get there early because the place is tiny!

  • Shoumit Karnik

A very nice quaint bar for the essential American experience. Cheap drinks and very good service. A nice variety of tap beers and cocktails available. The bartender's a pretty cool guy too! Edit: the actual timings for this place are from 11 am - 12 am midnight

  • Michael O'Leary

This place is tiny and a bit divey, but that's how I like bars. It's got a cozy patio for smoking and usually isn't too crowded. Bartenders are always friendly. They occasionally do music and poetry, which is fun because you are so close to the performers.

  • Kyle Waites

Best sandwiches around! It feels like the dive bar you would go and get your dad from after work when you were a kid growing up in Wisconsin. No windows means you can spend hours in there and it always feels like happy hour. Great drinks and great people.

  • Jill Tangney

The Dago is tasty, sausage patty with onions and peppers grilled fresh and served with mozzarella. Drink prices among the lowest I've seen in Minneapolis. Friendly bar staff, relatively small pours. I'd say check it out if you are in the hood.

  • Jo Metoyer

Just “okay” service sucks - waited an extremely long time for bartender to fix me a drink .. ordered food and hamburger Patty was 3x smaller than bun More of a local “been going here for years and not gonna let the original legacy go” …

  • Stormy Norman

Kind of your old local dive bar. Nice quiet neighborhood people and good service. One bartender was pretty quiet the other a bit more spunk and friendly. Both gave great service. Band was good and friendly on break. Would stop by again!

  • Mindy Ondich

Tiny little hole in the wall with cheap, strong drinks. Love the tiny local atmosphere, the bartenders, the food is actually really good, I still think about the stroganoff soup years later... I'm really glad they survived covid

Went for the meat raffle and had a winner at our table . Happy hour prices can't be beat. The Dagos are the best I have ever had. All in all great last night out before going into seclusion to ride out this pandemic .

  • Abhijeet Ghuge

St Paddy’s night: couldn’t get Uber/lyft way until 2:45 am. Was miserably cold outside. The folks working let me hang inside until I finally got a ride home. I appreciate them for their kindness and flexibility.

  • Anne Morgan

Dusty’s! Great dive, polish on tap, and a cute lil outdoor patio. If you havent ever had yourself a dago try one! They also have cool dj nights the first Sun of every month. One of my favorite haunts. More

I had been hearing about how good the dago was here for years and finally tried one a few years back. Stopped by on the way to an event in the cities and the second time was just as good as the first! Yum!

  • Carrie Enola

Their Dago's are amazing! I always get the California Dago with Egg and Cheese, then get another plain Dago with cheese to take home for the next day (I usually end up eating it on the way home)!!!

  • Raul Martinez

I only gave 5 ⭐️’s service for Dante, and Dominique, the beset service from them, the other bartenders are lame and boring and …. Kind of Rude.

Dusty's is the best. The bartenders are super cool too. Great if you live nearby and just want to get a good burger that is reasonably priced without the usual "artisanal" northeast frills.

  • Padraic McGuire

This is a great joint. First time here, came from St Small on a cousin's recommendation. Their famous Dago, while lacking marinara sauce is outstanding. I'm a convert and will be back soon.

  • Brandon Schumann

Dusty's is one of my favorite dives with a great location, atmosphere, service, and well-mixed drinks. It's a bit busier than it used to be, but it still has its original vibe and charm.

  • Joe Allen

Forgot how good the Dago's here are, and we've always loved the low key atmosphere (at lunch when we go). Our excellent bartender made a couple for us - very tasty, and very fair prices.

  • Josh V

Classic dive with fantastic pub fare. I've been going when I can since 2007, I used to live up the block and was a regular. Now I try to get in when I'm in the area and it's still great

  • Ryan Flanders

I recommend the “everything” Dagos burger. Delicious Italian spice in your beef patty. Their kitchen is open until midnight. Trivia on Mondays and sometimes live music on other days.

  • Dan Rice

Dusty's tonight was as chill and friendly and comfortable as ever. They don't measure their drink pours, and they don't judge your company. Bring your friends and relax already.

  • Dustin Young

Super low key place and the food is great. It is a small menu but the dagos are basically a urger made from itallian sausage. The drinks are super strong which is awesome.

  • United Surface Associates, LLC

Laid back casual experience, hang out and chill with your friends. Bartender is amazing, she was constantly cleaning and sanitizing all of the hard surfaces in the place.
