I had pretty low expectations for Arena SF, as I heard from multiple people that it was dirty and grimey. But above all, it was Ratchet. It always seemed like the line was really long and difficult to enter, especially the way they promote it. But we came around 10:30pm and waited maybe 10/15 min and got in with no problems. We got a few drinks. The bar only had 2 workers, but they were actually pretty fast with serving everyone. Drinks were about $15, but small. While pricing is pretty standard, the drinks were super small for the price. Inside was crowded, but not uncomfortably. It seemed there was always space in the back. It is pretty narrow inside with tables along the wall and an intimate dance floor. However, it was sooo hot inside. While clubs do get hot, it seemed like there were no fans or AC in here at all. Also unfortunately there are only two bathroom stalls for the women. The line was always long. But the most important thing to my group was how good the music was. We hate the Top 40 remixes that most clubs do play. Arena definitely delivered with their songs and ratchet playlists. They were fun to dance to! I would recommend Arena and would come back with my friends. Note: We went when it was audiotistic weekend, so it might’ve been less crowded than normal due to that.

I left a review here but it seems to be not be here anymore maybe because they changed their name. Avoid! Terrible service, rude staff and unfair treatment. The plethora of 1 star ratings says it all. I went with about 5 others, when we got to the door we said we have 6. They let everyone in my group in except me and kept me waiting in line all by myself for a long time. Also left my group not knowing what to do. Why not wait until you have capacity for 6 versus leaving 1 person out waiting. Or do 3 & 3 so no one’s left alone outside. I tried pleading with them just let me go in with my group but they were so rude and incompetent. Kept letting people in the “VIP” line in while I waited, which is a joke just people paying more. I’m 1 person, just let me go with my group you already let in… Not like they said I can’t get in for xyz reason, just left me waiting and ruined the night. Word to staff and management don’t let all but 1 person in a group in and leave them alone outside, not safe or fair.

I would rate 0 if I could. We waited in line for 2 hours only to be told at the entrance that they are "out of capacity". They continued to let others in the VIP line in which costs 60. They were clearly not out of capacity. We had friends inside sending us photos of the club looking pretty empty. Also as they're telling us, ppl consistently are leaving the club. These people are trying to lose business. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME IN LINE. There are better clubs in SF. [Update] We were there around 10:30pm. It was early enough where we should've been told about GA tickets if that's really a thing. Bouncers didn't tell us anything. There was ZERO information about GA tickets. Once we got to the front of the line, a bouncer told us about VIP tickets and that we couldn't go in. Groups before us were allowed in without any so called "GA tickets".

I was unnerved by this club from the get go. As a lesbian it’s already hard enough to feel accepted in non gay clubs but this was something else. As my girlfriend and i approached the bouncer (holding hands) he had an look of disgust on his face. As he asked for my id and vaccination card he barley looked at it and pocketed it claiming it was fake. I demanded the cops come to confirm it was real and he kept refusing to call them. As my girlfriend and I were walking out of line to get an uber home the bouncer started saying offensive slurs to us such as f****t and d**e’s. I will never be returning to this club and i do not think anyone should ever go to or support this dirty club. Also just in general absolutely disgusting location and dirty venue. I am appalled…

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! Bartender extremely rude. There is NO PLACE to sit if you are not VIP. Even the bar doesn’t have stools. We went during the happy hour to order the boba alcohol drink and she said the boba wouldn’t be ready for 30 minutes. And the bar manager didn’t count the drawers until we were standing by the bar for 10 minutes and he slammed it into the drawer. This place was supposed to have been open for 2 hours already. Had to ask an employee to get the coat check because we left IMMEDIATELY. We had to get security to make the bartender take out order. Just left a bad taste in my mouth ever setting door in there. Thank goodness the only money i spent was a $5 coat check.

Recommendation: Go somewhere else. If you are coming here, arrive before the cover charge gets in. Not worth paying to enter or buying drinks either There are so many other places in SF with better music, better drinks, and better ambience. I would only come here if all of the other places are full, and wouldn’t be my first choice. The famed alcoholic boba drinks are ok but not nearly what they were hyped up to be. I could do a better job pouring some baileys and rum into a drink bought from a regular shop. Not worth the time or money. The tunes could’ve so much better, and didn’t get anyone really pumped to dance. The one plus was chill, welcoming and efficient bartenders.

I went to ECHO SFC last night on Saturday, July 8, 2023 to celebrate my friend DJ Zo Rosales’s birthday and it was great! The music was very good and everyone was dancing! The bottle service was great because they were welcoming and took care of our needs! I would definitely go back here and I recommend you guys to check this place out as well!

I parked right by the club so the walking distance was good! There is plenty of parking by ECHO SFC!

The owner should be ashamed of himself. I waited 40 minutes at the front of the line and never got in. I was told by the staff it would be another hour and a half at the FRONT of the line. Why? Because the free line is only “free” if the paid line is empty. But the free line is so big that it pushes both new people and people on the free line over to the paid line, which becomes a neverending cycle. I tried raising these issues to security, promoters, and even the owner and I was ridiculed, insulted, and told off. What a joke.

The club was super fun! We went yesterday night. The line was really long (~30/40 minutes) but there was no cover charge which was great. Mostly the downside is that I lost my phone at the club, and since there's no working number for this place on google or yelp, and they don't open until hella late I haven't actually been able to contact anyone about it. Had a good time - just wish all the info online was up to date and accessible!

I’d post a 0 out of 5 if I could, this place was beyond disappointing. They had an event where they pre-sold tickets, yet when the time came, the People who bought tickets couldn’t even get in. I waited 3 hours in line only for the rude security guards to shove someone into face and tell me to back tf up. This place is unprofessional and provides extremely unsatisfactory service. It’s a joke and I probably won’t even get a refund

Just visited ECHO for grand opening weekend and it was one of the best night club experiences I've had in a while! DJs + music was on point, the lighting system is straight up Vegas style and all of the staff from the security to bartenders were extremely friendly. Definitely will be visiting again and will recommend to everyone I know!

Came here with some friends and was honestly not too pleased. Most of the time they end up not letting anyone in to force people to go to VIP which is $30. Definitely not worth the price because it's usually empty until around 12:30 inside anyway. The crowd is not the best, a lot of unsettling people that security does nothing about. Honestly would suggest City Nights for a better time.

Waited in line since 8:45 to get a stupid ticket got the ticket the club opens at 10 and they never let us in until who knows what time my friends and I ended up leaving and headed to the bars near by. Why have tickets if your not going to let people in on time they are money hungry and let all the people that paid “VIP” go in first when the web site says no coverage fee....

Went here for bottle service with a friend, very affordable just between us two. Service was great and consistent throughout the night. Dj’s we’re great and it was lit until closing time. Highly recommend!

Ultra scammy. Every single drink: Small half-glass plastic cup, half full of ice, mix together with alcohol to make it look like you're actually getting alcohol $15-20. Try to leave and the bouncers/promoters try to influence you into coming back in (hoping that you're drunk which unfortunately isn't very well thought out on their part with the drinks they're serving).

Had a great time with my friends the other weekend. The line can be long at times but it’s worth it. If it’s a place you’ll frequent, I suggest getting to know the promoters so they can get you in a timely fashion. One of the promoters (Johnson) took care of our bottle service needs and made sure our table was taken care of. Real classy stuff.

Place is chill. The boba alcohol drinks were decent. Security and staff was cool and friendly. Went on a Saturday night and they had some good music going on. My only thing is it be getting hot up in there lol they need the AC blasting at least in there LOL. Overall would recommend you coming here it’s chill and cool. I had a good time lol

Went to the 18+ event on Thursday and ended up waiting 2 hours in line just to get in. Make sure you get there early, whether you bough pre sale tickets or are waiting in general admission. It was ok once inside, not much dancing though. There was no COVID restrictions, it was fully open. THEY ONLY ACCEPT CASH, no credit card.

0 management. Security is rude, seems like they dont want my money. Been in line for half an hour, went to my car to get my ID. They wanted me to wait back in the line, I did not refuse, went back in line. Suddenly they can't let anymore people in. Thrash place with bunch of tweakers. Dont go here, go to Temple.

Go to Temple. Arena is for poor Asians who don't know that disrespectful security guards should not exist. The dance floor is empty and on Saturday. The line is long but the dancefloor is empty. Do not come here if you have another choice, Arean is a waste of time. (Sausage fest- only men inside.)

Went with a group of friends and had a lot of fun. There was no cover all night, which is rare for a lot of clubs in SF, but if you want the best experience get bottle service. We went through our promoter, Johnson Ho, who took good care of us and made sure we had a great time.

The security was kind, gave us water and made sure we got a ride back to our hotel.

Place is so much nicer in comparison as to what it was before! The vibe feels nice and when I went for soft opening the line was long (about 200-400 people). Music is great and the lighting is nice. Definitely the new hot hip-hop spot of SF!

Very poor experience. Waited in line for an hour only to find out that they were "at capacity" unless paying for VIP tickets. Friends who were inside noted that the club was not very full and, in fact, still pretty empty at this point.

I have a valid over 21 drivers license and was rejected because their machine could not scan my license properly. Bouncer didn’t even take care in swiping it carefully, and he then refused to look at the date of birth.

Total scam. Security harassed friend in bathroom for no reason. Place is really small and nobody was even dancing. Way better places elsewhere, highly recommend getting there before cover charge.

If you get in this place is awesome. $30 cover is completely reasonable for how nice this spot is, and that's only when they're nearing capacity. Go early and get in free.

One of the best clubs I’ve ever seen in my life. Most crazy attitudes everywhere. Really atmospherically balanced. A bit tight, but better than the LA one.

DJ was wack, the bar barely had any good alcohol choices, upstairs was closed, security was unnecessarily thorough.. sorry but I'm not coming back here.

Very fun park. Not a Giants fan but love checking out new ballparks. Some of the fans were rowdy but overall we had a fun time!
