Special thank you to Kari for helping me make a great purchase decision!!! I started my shopping my shopping journey at EQ3 sometime in September. I really wanted to check out Herman Miller office chairs and this store happened to be the only one open on a late Saturday afternoon. I felt very welcomed in an open atmosphere where everything looked clean, elegant, and bright! I walked through the store and saw a bunch of great furniture choices with tons of quality materials everywhere. Later I saw a table with a bunch of office chairs and a standing desk. Having sat in 2 chairs, Kari said hello and offered assistance. My goodness, she is very experienced with all of the different materials, posture positions, and she empathized with my seating needs as a customer. We went over what my ideal work day looks like and the types of tasks I do. She suggested either the Aeron or the Embody chair and carefully explained the differences very well. No rush in the purchase decision, she kindly demonstrated all of the different ways in which you can adjust the chairs and carried a strong conversation about previous customer feedback, including the upgrades people have made over the years. They have a standing desk, so you can try each and every seat with the correct desk height. I pretty much selected a chair with the materials I preferred, but my heart wasn’t fully set until I did some independent research. Slowly but surely, I did return to the store a few months later and I bought a Herman Miller Aeron B with fully adjustable arms, the newer Adjustable PostureFit SL, full tilt limiter, and multi-floor quiet casters. I have to admit, I’m extremely comfortable when I sit at my desk every day and I totally would shop again at EQ3, for successfully helping me find the right furniture. Their delivery service is smart! You can track the truck before it arrives. They scheduled a time for added convenience. Very professional in customer service as well. I hope to shop at this store again sometime soon. I was very pleased with my experience and I love my new chair. Again, thank you so much Kari and team at EQ3.

Great furniture and excellent customer service! We recently had the pleasure of working with EQ3 in Deerfoot Meadows. We visited the store to purchase a new couch and met Diana, who was immensely helpful in our selection process. Our principal concern during our first conversation was regarding delivery services, as we had just gone through a delivery nightmare that resulted failed purchase from a competitor. Diana quickly addressed our concern by indicating that EQ3 offered a complimentary in-home consultation with an interior designer. We had identified a couch that we liked at the store, but the consultation would help ensure it worked with our space and that the delivery would fit. The interior designer, Jennifer, visited our home about a week later. Not only did she help us finalize the couch options, but we picked out a number of other pieces based on her helpful suggestions. This engaging experience made the shopping experience much better and easier. And we continued discussions with Diana after our in-home visit. We worked with her to ensure the fit of our items and she was surprisingly prompt in her replies. She even sent messages on her day off to ensure that we received the information we needed to made an educated decision. When we returned to the store to complete our purchase, Diana walked us through the details and made sure we understood the delivery. We were also pleasantly surprised to find out that the delivery fee was complimentary after spending a reasonable amount. This is much different than other competitors. My girlfriend manages in customer service and was very impressed with Diana's approach and skill set. She was very personable and went above and beyond to address our questions and concerns. It was a pleasure to work with both her and Jennifer. We've purchased other furniture items from EQ3 in the past and have been very happy with them. And we're looking forward to enjoying our new items in a few short weeks. EQ3 has become our store of choice!

We bought 4 dining chairs and a sofa from EQ3 in the beginning of October. We were told the chairs will come in in 2-4 weeks. But since the couch is customized, it will take approximately 16 weeks to be made which was completely fine. So we ended up choosing the option of picking up the chairs from Edmonton warehouse instead of having all the furnitures shipped together 16 weeks later. It is now November and we have tried to contact the customer service several times regarding our chairs. We found out that the chairs have been sitting in the warehouse because we contacted them first. Not them notifying us first that the chairs are ready for pick-up. They said the chairs have been shipped to the warehouse and we have to coordinate the pickup time with the warehouse staff. We called the warehouse staff several times to coordinate with no answer to the phone calls or return calls to the voice mails. The only answers the EQ3 store will give us were "it is on you because you chose to pick up from the warehouse". If I had known this was going to be the case, I would've gladly paid for separate shipping fees just for the chairs. I have been looking at EQ3 website for several months before finally ordering my furnitures because I love the style so much but I have never been so disappointed in their customer service. I also bought the table runner from EQ3 which completely frayed apart after one delicate wash. I contacted the store about the quality of the item but never got a response back. I chose to drive all the way down to Calgary and come in to the store to order instead of ordering online because I expected better human communication. Frankly, I should've gone through online.

Update: EQ3 has reached out and offered store credit for the rug, which I am happy with. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 because I'm frustrated by the system of having to make a public review rather than just a private complaint to get action but I suppose this is the way of the world. Original review, one star: I have purchased several items from EQ3 and am mostly happy with them. The nixon stools in the custom wool fabric are perfect! However, I am very unsatisfied with the Bila rug and my experience with EQ3 related to this product. After about two months of moderate use the rug became very worn looking with a loss of pattern in the wool weave and very heavy shedding. EQ3 claims to have a one year warranty on this item for manufacturing defects and quality issues so I was assuming that a return would be possible but my request was denied, with the representative explaining that the satisfaction warranty is only one month and the pictures of the (now terrible looking) item are consistent with usual wear so it would be ineligible for a manufactures warranty. The other response was to not use a beater bat on it, which I never have. So I have paid $1300+ for a rug that looks worse and worse every day and I've only now had for less than 6 months. I would expect EQ3 to do better than this and stand behind their products.

We built a new house and wanted to purchase eq3 furniture as it’s made in Canada to support our economy. We spent a total of $13,420. We purchased a bed, 2 couches, coffee table, ottoman, kitchen stools. Dont be deceived by the showroom, they ensure no defective pieces are shown. Also the male salesman is condescending and rude, acts like a know it all and does not like being asked questions. When our furniture arrived, the $2500 tv media unit was broken, the $1000 coffee table was cracked on the top, the kitchen stools were all wobbly, and the couch cushions were all out of shape leaving gaps between the cushions. We ended up returning more than half the products we bought, which also sucks because we paid for white glove delivery (also the assembly people are third party and have no clue how to assemble EQ3 furniture, they admitted this to us, which made us extremely uneasy). This is NOT acceptable for a brand who charges several times the competition. It’d be ok if their products were actually premium, and had no defects. I would avoid this company, as they sell at a premium price (10x ikea product prices) when items from IKEA have less defects. I’ve attached an image of the $2500 media unit as well as the $1000 coffee table demonstrating the nonexistent quality control.

Overall the service is great. And the variety they offer in terms of fabric and leather is undeniably vast. Other stores do not have that much choice or color for customization. However, their promotions are not very clear in terms of in house design services and I would have taken part in it had I known. Overall it is a good store and Lina is amazing, patient, very accommodating and makes you feel comfortable. Her communication is exceptional. Even their manager has made many exceptions and tried to accommodate us in other areas which we appreciate. Their staff seem knowledgeable. The quality and craftmanship of the furniture is strong so far especially the Chiara lounge chair. Also, made in Canada :) which I love. Our leather couch has some crumpling which looks like a weight bearing issue on the base (not the cushions, seat or arms) which was visible after four days of use, unclear if this is normal as it’s not on a contact area, time will tell. Overall, a good furniture store for stylish unique pieces. Delivery was also great and again good communication and on time. However if you need to return or exchange delivery fees will be charged again and I was told I had to pay twice to do an exchange so I decided not to in the end.

We purchased this dining table from EQ3 6 months ago and it already has cracks on its legs which do not seem normal. As a premium marketed furniture store, we felt EQ3 would stand by its products but were disappointed to get a quick email back stating that natural wood cracks and we are responsible to keep humidity within 30-50% (which we have since it’s a new house and we have good control of how much humidity we have). We have had multiple wooden furniture over the years, including a wooden dining table from pottery barn, and while they have all scratched over the years, none of them have shown any signs of cracks. This shows not only poor quality by EQ3 but also that they either do not stand by their products or they are selling products they know would not hold up under normal usage. As a side note, this dining table is in our formal dining room which we have probably only used a total of 10 times since we purchased it. We were looking to purchase some more furniture for our basement in the coming year but will not be going to EQ3 (despite wanting to support a Canadian company). Edit: following on up on my original review. EQ3 has reached out to me and agreed to replace the base in the next couple of weeks.

I have always heard of EQ3 in conversation with friends and family when talking about where to get furniture in Calgary. As someone who loves to use the internet as my primary shopping tool, that is where the limit of my shopping went. That was until I was looking into getting a Herman Miller chair for my work from home situation. Because I had looked online and did my own research, I thought I knew exactly what I wanted. But once I stepped into the store, Diana was nothing short of amazing in allowing me to try all the chairs available and give me all the time and space I needed to make my choices. She was very patient in explaining all the differences between the models and to go through the pros and cons of each without bias towards a pricey model or pressuring a sale from me. Once I had decided to chose the Aeron model, we got to work and she explained each option and gave me the prices and we were able to spec out a chair personally for me. With the experience in the store, there is no doubt I will be back to choose new pieces of furniture when I am looking to update my home or to recommend to friends, family, and clients of mine.

We were assisted by Tiffany. She was extremely helpful and I think to really understand their offering you need to speak to one of their sales staff. Their couches are extremely flexible in terms of arrangement and covering. Essentially everything is made to order within 3 weeks. One added benefit is each arrangement has very helpful pricing/piece one pagers and they let you take samples of fabric available. Overall a great experience and comparing to other medium to high end providers the price was a bit less and they took less than 1/2 the time to deliver. One final thing Tiffany offered to come to our house, size everything out and bring all the samples for no extra charge. We were wanting a high end sectional and loveseat. It would have cost between $6000-7000, but all the other stores with a 2+ month delivery timeline didn't offer that type of buying assistance. I'd highly recommend not only EQ3, but working with Tiffany. I'm pretty critical about how informed and helpful the salesperson is and how confident you feel about the decision. We purchased this very expensive furniture which came highly recommended as being quality made Canadian furniture. We decided that it would be worth the six month wait period to support local Canadian made product. The couch and seat we purchased have been a major disappointment. Feathers stick out of all cushions into your body making it incredibly uncomfortable to sit on. All stitching within cushions Is visible giving an appearance of three separate cushions within one cushion. Upon raising this concern we were told we need to "fluff" cushions more frequently....because everyone wants to fluff their cushions three times a day.... One of our cushions was stained and discolored.... We've reached out to customer service three times and been given the run around. Take pictures of every cushion inside and out. Which we did only to be told to do this all over again. When a company charges this much for a product they need to be accountable. That has not been the case for us. Good luck to anyone else. Please enquire about how your cushions are made.

Great experience at EQ3 in Calgary! I had been browsing online and wanted to see the Replay sofa/sectional in person before making such a big purchase. I went in to the store and was immediately greeted and offered assistance by Monique. She took me through the fabric options and possible configurations and was patient and friendly with all my questions. She did not put any pressure on me to purchase and actually told me about the scratch and save event that was starting the next weekend (which ultimately allowed me to save 15% on my purchase!). When I went in the following weekend to make my purchase I was helped by another associate (whose name I unfortunately cannot remember) who was equally friendly and helpful. I came armed with more questions about foam density and fabric wear testing and she answered them all with ease. I feel very confident in my decision to purchase the replay sectional with EQ3 not only for the quality of the product but because of the excellent customer service.

Fantastic customer service. We walked in with a general idea of what we wanted, and a handful of photos of the space we were looking to furnish. Diana took just the right approach - greeted us, got us oriented as to how the store worked, got us pointed in the right direction, and then gave us space to figure out what we were interested in. When we had questions, it turned out she was right there to help, and then gave us our space again ( she must be psychic ;) ). When we started asking advice about layout, style, design options, color palates, and the like, she went into full-on interior designer mode, and gave us some amazing advice. We never felt pressured, felt like we had an enthusiastic ally in trying to figure out our interior design problem, and I think ended up - with Diana's help - with a MUCH better selection and look that we would have picked out on our own as if we had been catalog or big-box store shopping. All in all an amazing shopping experience.

We went to purchase a sofa and Kari was thoroughly helpful in answering all our concerns (inspite of store running super busy) from whether to pick a sofa or sectional , what fabric & how to customize it to suit our needs in best way. So thank you Kari! The product range is also very wide and so contemporary! Couldn’t find a better collection anywhere else ! The pricing is very competitive too. The best part we can get the sofa custom made so don’t have to get stuck with the colors ! Sofa yet to be delivered so will definitely come back to review in an year about how sturdy it turns out to be ! For now 5 stars for customer service and collection ! Ok so sofa has been delivered earlier than expected and we have been using for 5months now ! It looks and feels very sturdy! The seats are also very firm and haven’t gone in a bit ! Very happy with the quality overall !

We went into EQ3 as our last stop on our furniture shopping adventure for the day and thought it would be just a quick browse. Within a few minutes we stumbled across the very helpful and witty salesperson, Diana. She answered all our questions about sectionals, carpets, colors, and never once made us feel like we were a failure at adulting! She went through photos of our home and made recommendations and helped us pick out all of our essential items. While we worked primarily with Diana, we had opportunities to interact with other sales people and they were all incredibly friendly and helpful and more than willing to answer our questions. I never once felt pressured to buy anything and Diana was always happy to provide alternative cost saving options. I highly recommend shopping at EQ3. Thanks to the team for turning a dreaded chore into an amazing experience.

We have been purchasing and looking to purchase many products from EQ3. Our experiences have been amazing every visit we make. Diana has been awesome to work with and we always look forward to seeing her. She has been very accommodating to our situation and has really taken care of us. All the staff at EQ3 Calgary have been extremely friendly and we have never felt pressure or pushed by any sales personal. They have all been very professional. We love being able to just look around at different items and play with different ideas with the help of the staff. The staff at EQ3 were amazing! My husband and I walked in never being in the store before and we were pleasantly surprised with the product and quality. Diana made sure to greet us and help us find what we were looking for but left us to browse on our own with out us feeling like we were being pushed into a sale. She was there for us to ask questions and even helped us take the leaf out of the table and let us sit down at it to make sure everything was comfortable. The shipping time is much quicker than most other companies at 1-2 weeks as opposed to 6-8 weeks which seems to be standard at most other furniture stores. Overall I was very pleased with Diana, she kept in good contact with us during the entire purchase and pickup experience and we will definitely be heading back there when we need another piece of furniture for our home!

I was lucky enough to have Kari Bernhardt as my sales associate. She was professional, helpful, and patient. She was kind enough to help me design my own Cello sectional in-store. She spent 20-30 minutes with me answering my questions, offering design suggestions, and pricing my potential orders. Eventually, we settled on a beautiful Cello sectional. When I got home, after remeasuring my apartment, I decided I needed to make some minor changes to my order. I called the store the next day and Kari was kind enough to change my order to fit my specifications. Kari made sure I was happy with my order when she could have easily brushed me off. It was overall a great shopping experience. First, their products are great! High quality furniture, with beautiful aesthetics. Some of the products are mid to high priced tier, but nothing with a poor value/price ratio. You are getting what you pay for, sometimes getting a lot for what you are paying. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and best of all they somehow managed to be attentive to your need without hovering over your shoulder. Whenever we had a question, we didn't have to look around much before Monique was there ready to assist. Checkout was fast and simple, and a mistake with one the products was caught and corrected without hassle. The product that was available in their warehouse was even carried out to my vehicle. I would certainly shop at EQ3 again.

We had a great experience at EQ3 when buying bedroom furniture with Monica. She helped us order a complete set and ensured we got all the pieces we needed. They were promised within 1-2 weeks and were delivered on time. Delivery happened exactly as they said it would. They confirmed a 3-hour delivery window for delivery day and then called ahead about half an hour before the delivery. The delivery guys were polite and efficient and someone gave us a follow-up call to ensure we were happy with the delivery. We have just started to unpack the furniture but already we are really excited about our purchase. And we are extremely happy with the service we received from Monica and the delivery guys. We also placed a custom order for bar stools and can't wait for them to come in!

The service provided by Carla at EQ3 was excellent. She spent quite a lot of time helping me to see a wide range of leather samples for chairs I was interested in. Carla was very helpful and provided a lot of creative suggestions and I never felt pressured. I feel very comfortable with my purchase and look forward to picking up the custom ordered chairs in a few weeks. Update: we have had the two chairs for 2 years now and they still look mint after daily use - the quality is excellent! We also just bought a sofa in the same leather and color and Diana provided great attention and advice to us and we felt she really wanted to help us purchase the right sofa for us. Thanks Diana! Our first EQ3 experience was eight years ago when we bought two sets of living room furniture. We had the pleasure of meeting Monique at that time and she impressed us with her knowledge of the fabrics and advised us on what would work best in each room. We loved the style of the furniture and hoped it would wear as well as Monique indicated it would. I am happy to report that it did and we came back to the store looking for Monique last week to order two new sets. She was, again, very easy to work with and gave us excellent advice on fabrics and how they would react to possible spills or scratches. This was my first time ordering from EQ3 to purchase a Herman Miller chair for work at home during the pandemic. I had a great experience with corresponding with Diana about my inquiry! Not only was she able to explain the different options for my chair, she was even able to provide a better deal than the online EQ3 site. I highly recommend anyone to give the Calgary location a call because they will take the time to explain the necessary logistics for your inquiries and determine the best options for you. For someone working Monday to Friday as me, I was able to correspond readily during the weekends or even late evenings so they are very accomodating and flexible. 5/5 for my first experience!

We came to EQ3 looking for a new king sized bed frame. Monique greeted us and explained the sale. She was bubbly and welcoming. We wandered around the entire showroom, and when we were ready to make a selection, we waited for her to be free because we wanted to deal with her directly. They had 100s Of choices for fabric (including like 30 greys) so we spent a lot of time trying to decide. She asked about our fabric choice and gave us a good list of pros and cons of our top choices. We chose a dark grey color and we felt confident in our decision because of her advice. We would definitely shop at EQ3 again and would want Monique to be there to assist. Can’t wait for our new bed to arrive!

Our experience with Derek was definitely a pleasant one. From the time we walked into the store he greeted us with a smile and immediately asked if he could help us. And help us he did. He listened to what we were looking for and although some of what we wanted to see was not available on the floor he showed us alternatives. In the end he helped us navigate through the picking of the leather we chose as well as the couch and chair. He was able to provide us with some good advice regarding the different grades of the materials for the couches considering we have children. That we definitely appreciated. In the end we are happy with the choice we made thanks to his help.

0 STARS!! The female representative named Shane or Shawn, wasn't having any knowledge about Herman Miller chairs when it's actually going on for sale!! We asked her several questions regarding sizes, hight adjustments, and shared few hesitations with the design hoping she would help solving it. She didn't knew how to adjust lower sitting space in Embody chair. I went to other store, which is official business partners of Herman Miller, and they showed me how to make that change - the only issue stopping me to buy a chair worth almost 2K. Knowledge of a simple feature could bring you or loose you business so try learning about your product before going to customers.

We purchased various pieces of furniture from this store to furnish a new home. We spent approximately 20k. Our purchase was made in early March. We were informed delivery delays due to COVID, however were quoted 14-16 weeks as per our purchase order. We are now at 22 weeks without a firm delivery date. We have called multiple times to be told it will arrive shortly or some variation of that. They indicated they would follow up with us which they haven't. I would recommend avoiding purchasing from this store. Obviously supply chains are a factor but the lack of proper communication and transparency with delivery is a major issue and speaks towards poor management.

Kari was instrumental in helping us to choose the right pieces for our new home. By sharing a few photos (and measurements), she was able to provide exemplary design advice. Although we flip flopped over a couple of things, she was patient and professional from the moment we walked in the door, to the day our furniture was delivered. The delivery team was also very professional, they kept me in the loop on their arrival time, and were extremely careful when bringing in the furniture. My wife and I recently bought a reverie leather sofa from eq3 for our new townhouse. We liked the mid century style with all the buttons and prefer to shop at a Canadian made store. Our salesperson, Kari, was very helpful in choosing a leather to suit our lifestyle with 2 dogs. She really listened when we said we wanted an out of the box colour as our builder used a very bland palette to finish the inside of our home. We ended up selecting a beautiful teal leather that looks awesome in our living room. Kari also helped us pick out a solid wood dining table after checking our photos and measurements for sizing. Great customer service and reasonable prices!

Great experience! The customer service at this EQ3 is exceptional. Lina was knowledgeable and patient when helping us pick out some furniture and custom upholstery fabrics. She was proactive about communicating order status (a custom order takes ~12 weeks), and she resolved some minor issues that cropped up with our order (a small inconspicuous stain on a chair, a fabric that became unavailable) promptly, and to more than our satisfaction. Delivery was also smooth and courteous. We're very happy with the look and quality of the furniture, and the post-purchase customer care exceeded expectations. I'll definitely shop here again.

Terrible company! Call themselves a "Canadian product company" only to sell their products more expensive. Pretty much every piece had an issue. Only take care of you when you are at showroom to purchase. Poor customer service! We had paid for delivery! But, I had to drive 50 km far SE to their warehouse to pick up the replacing item...When I got there they told me you have to bring the defective one! My question was that "why you didn't say that in your pick-up email?" I know even cheaper furniture companies when you pay for delivery they take care of exchange too! By delivery fee, I didn't mean paying for defective products!

I needed a sofa for our new townhome being built and required some guidance on color to coordinate with our new floors, chair colors, etc. Monique was very helpful in providing swatches and recommendations to help make my decision easier. As well, since it is a new build, we are only given an approximate date for possession so Monique reassured me that there would be no problem to store the sofa if the build happened to go a bit beyond our expected possession date. I honestly haven’t shopped much at EQ3 previously, but have to say I am converted! When my husband and I showed up one afternoon to just check it out, we met Kai who was so very knowledgeable and kind. She informed us of an amazing sale coming up so we left with the intention of coming back the following week. When we did end up coming back, Kai remembered us and helped us pick out a few beautiful pieces for our home. She was so patient while we hummed and hawed over which colours to eventually go with for our kitchen bench. Just ordered my third EQ3 couch and couldn’t be happier with the experience. In two visits with Carla, we were able to narrow down our options for our new living room and pick colours. Such great service! Holding our order until we take possession of our new house was no problem so we could take advantage of a sale they were having which was so helpful. Went to find a marble dining table - didn't find what I was looking for on the floor and asked Monique (the salesperson) whether they had the table I wanted in stock. She quickly checked and, though the table was discontinued, there were only a few left in stock throughout the country. What a great experience! We went to EQ3 on what was a rather busy Saturday afternoon. I bought 2 sofas ...one 4k another 8k. First one had to be exchanged in September... after a year.... till present day zero response. Second was purchased end of August. Didn't received yet after 4 months and will take another 2 months. Requested refund and zero communication with them. I'm so sorry somebody recommended me this store and furniture. Highly recommending to avoid this place at least a mile away. Now I'm stuck with 12k frozen in the air and no couch. It's a full of sh.....t.
