I've always had great experiences with ez pawns at several locations, whether buying or pawning items. Then I visited this location. I had a hassle pawning an item that I had purchased recently from an ez pawn, and had gotten a few loans on since then on the same item at different locations with no issues. Item was still in the box it came in and in perfect condition. I was told that they could not find the loan history and due to that they offered me less than half what was loaned the previous times. Enter the managers "clearance" and now they were able to find and with his "approval" lend me what I was lent just weeks before at another ez pawn. Fast forward a few days I get the item out on my payday. Now fast forward one more week and I was having to pawn it again only to run into the same issue as I had the first time. They were offering me less than half of what they just lent me two weeks prior as " the item is getting older". Note there is not a newer version of this item and 2 weeks is an insane amount of time to deduct that much value from the item. Long story short I pawned 2 items that day, both in perfect condition I'm their original packaging and still walked out with less than I had been loaned 2 weeks prior for just one of those items. Fast forward 2 months and I'm in a jam and came here again ( I know I shouldn't have) as it's the closest to my house and not having a vehicle at the moment. I again brought in , tools that were purchased brand new within the previous 3 days. The total upon purchasing these tools was well over $200 and with a straight face the guy offers me $35 for everything. Only saving grace was the fact that there were gentleman shopping there that had saw me come in with the tools and offered to buy them from me for $180. So I'm short , I sold items I was only planning to pawn for the moment as I did not need them for my upcoming job. Now I am forced to have to re purchase all of those items as they weren't even valued at $60 for a loan by this location. Long story short , this is the worst ez pawn I've ever had to deal with and worst pawn shop experience all around . I understand the business side of their offers but their offers are to be compared with a drug dealer offers to an addict selling stolen goods. I'll be sure to make the extra drive to the location on Blanco closer to 410 from now on!

If I could put zero stars I would! DO NOT USE THEIR LAYAWAY. CHECK ALL ITEMS AND RECEIPTS! Man. This place is very disappointing. A week or two before x-mas I went in and placed a PS4 on lay-away because it was a good deal and I couldn't pass it up. Well fast forward to this last week, the middle of march, I made my last payment. I was excited to finally have something I waited months for! I made the last payment and they went to the back to find my console... A good 20/30 mins pass until they finally come out and tell me that they didn't have all of the parts with the system. They were missing the controller. They claimed that either the system wasn't put away with a controller or that it was accidentally sold. There was only one other controller in the store and they refused to help me out! They said the controller had to be sold, no offer for a store credit for the controller was made. Surprised they gave me my money back, I could tell they really didn't want to but since no other store had any controllers, I guess they had no choice. I will definitely will not be going back.

EVERY TIME I go to EZPAWN to pawn something I call in advance if they take what I do not want anymore and they say sure sure and I ASK before going do I need to bring anything else with this beside the charger and they always say no. BUT when i finally get there, there's always something wrong. like I brought in a new T-Mobile phone that I never used because I switched to sprint and they said I need to bring in an active sim card with it. I DO NOT HAVE TMOBILE anymore how do you expect me to have an active sim card to sell it? and I do not know anyone in san antonio to BORROW their sim card, meanwhile the worker had a tmobile phone she could have just used hers. there is always an issue when I go in. NEVER going back.

I've been shopping at 11763 blanco rd location for 10years and I gotta say I like the employees that work there. Today I went in to extend my loans for a week and I was welcome by Jamie as soon as I walked in, even tho she was with a customer. I then was immediately helped by alicia who was kind and patient with me with all 7 of my loans, even when 2 were from a different location. Alicia made sure that all my loans were extended without forgetting 1. This Is why i love doing business with EZ pawn at 11763 blanco rd. Thank you Jamie and alicia with your kind help and great smiles, I feel like I can trust yall with my stuff.

They never take anything you try to sell them. They tell you its in to bad of condition or they just point out small problems from your item and then give you 10% of the actual value. I sold my 750$ Viola to them for not even 100$ and i called the instrument store i bought my viola from an the owner said to me that it is still worth 750$ and it was in perfect condition. These EzPawn people are garbage and only try to make money off the people that are struggling and all there items they have for sale in the tiny store of there's are over priced.

Nit sure about some of these bad reviews. EZPawn is a chain, not private. They have very little wiggle room to barter. The ladies hear handled me the same as they would back in California. Punch up the database and give you a figure. I pawned a tablet, and new I wasn't getting much back. 40 bucks. But considering the area, the resale on their own tabs was 50 to 80, so I'm not surprised. Only reason for 4 star is they are not very enthusiastic or interested, but as far service, no complaints.

Brought in a very nice violin that, brand new, retail price is between $800-$1300 dollars. Didn't ask for that, i was looking to get $300-$500 dollars. I got offered $50. Don't come here if you're trying to get fair value out of higher end items, you will be low balled. I get they run a business, but don't call $50 a fair price when the instrument is worth 16-20 times that amount. They are friendly and straightforward though. Didn't beat around the bush. I appreciate that.

Went in to sell a Fitbit scale. The employee states he doesnt know if they can take it asked the manager and she doesnt know what a fitbit scale is. Then they let me know they can give 3-5 bucks for it. Then they attempt to test it but they have no batteries. WTF. Worst experience ever. Went up the street to another ez pawn at Blanco and 410. Where i recieved 40 for it. DO NOT PAWN HERE.

Not sure what all the negative reviews are about... Everyone at this pawnshop is super friendly! It seems that the people posting these reviews have noting better to do but complain about everything. Just look at their other posts, they hate everything! Here's a though, put on your big boy pants and realize that everyone treats you like crape because YOU have a bad attitude!

Guaranteed not the best bid on your items,ci understand the need for profit but just because I'm 18 doesn't meaning stupid. Brought in a $600 surround sound and they offer 70$ when even on eBay etc. they are at least 300-400. Doesn't help when fat boy behind the counter is rude.

A really cool place to just browse yett, depending on your financial status; it's a great place to turn certain items into actual cash. The young ladies on staff a very knowledgeable on the value of most items. One big plus, they don't rip you off.

What can I say? Great spot. Lots of inventory and fair prices when you need to sell/get a loan. All the employees are super friendly, especially Chris. If you need a pawn shop, this is the spot.
