If I could give 0 stars I would. My husband and I live across the street. We were having steak for a date night and wanted some red wine to go along with it so we decided to come here. After looking at a couple red wines we made our selection, bought it and proceeded to head out. Oddly, we’re stopped at the door and accused of stuffing a bottle of wine in our jackets. That’s funny- we would never do that. We actually thought the employee was joking because of how bizarre it was. He ended up being extremely aggressive towards my husband, and demanding he take this (imaginary) bottle out because he “saw him put it in”. Lo and behold, we’re pat down and there’s nothing there. such a degrading and humiliating experience and they will never get another dollar out of us. Please take your business elsewhere

I wanted to try something new but didn’t know what. The sales lady at East Houston Wines asked a few questions on my tastes and she recommended a wine for me. I told her I like Pinot Noirs and they took their time to recommend the perfect wine for my taste. I tried it and I LOVED this wine for my taste. I recommend you ask them to help you select a wine based on your tastes. The sales lady was very patient with me and helped me find my new favorite wine. I can’t believe it took this long to find this place. Where have you been all my life! THANK YOU ehLiquors!

Live across the street and they’re open later than most so usually run over for my basic wines which it’s great for. Last few times half the staff was really rude and angry at life while the other half was nice and friendly - don’t be open till 11:30 and be rude to customers for coming in and buying things 11-11:20? It just makes me wonder if they’re always like that or it’s just because it’s later almost closing time but still just close at 11 and don’t be rude to customers be make them frustrated by having a rude short tone with them..

I had to come from New Jersey to get 3 bottles of Mercer+Prince (ASAP Rocky) whiskey. This is the closest location to Jersey I can get it. We'll worth the trip and traffic. I called a head of time, the guy told me parking can be a hassle so call when I'm outside. I did so he had the 3 bottles at the counter and I was in and out in less than 1 minute. 1st time I ever had service like that I wish I got his name, but ill be back often. Looks great on my bar.

A liquor store that makes selling fun. They made a spooky Halloween Eve Bash and invited the neighborhood a party. There were drinks poured and candy dishes. Home made cupcakes and a DJ! Totally awesome idea for a local store to do for adults. Yes, there was a nice guy checking IDs! Looking forward to the next time. PS good prices and good choices on liquor.

Worked with Leo to resolve an issue with shipping a bottle of whiskey. He was awesome to deal with and got all my problems solved. I can’t recommend this place enough. I don’t travel to NYC much, but next time I’m there I will swing in just to say thanks! And probably buy another nice bottle! Much appreciated for all your help and your quick response!

This was my first time ordering alcohol online ever and it was a success! Gave them a call and verified they had what their site stock said and that they would ship all the way to Florida.. came in 3 days later and now I have a full Muckety Muck collection! Such a lovely store in a great area! The staff was so helpful! I couldn’t remember the name of the red wine that I had tried at a dinner party. Luckily, one of the staff members was such a informative help that we figured it out and I was able to enjoy it with my dinner that night! Definitely will go back again!

This is my favorite place to shop for all my libations! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. It has been a staple in the lower east side for 8 years and the service continues to get better! The store hosts great events and is always introducing new products.

I've never had a problem here. Extremely professional and kind service; they have always helped me pick out an appropriate bottle of wine before a dinner party, which I appreciate. I think they have the best selection in the neighborhood & extremely fair prices!

There are often events here, many free but some with a fee. Even the ones with a fee give you a voucher for that amount for merchandise though, so it's free if you're planning on buying something anyway. Selection is decent. Prices are okay for the area.

I'm not sure what his name was, but an employee here (the manager?) went out of his way to help me with finding and purchasing a type of whisky for a birthday present. It's definitely a bright spot in the middle of everything that's going on. Thank you!

Great prices and service. I placed an order online for pick up at the store. Something came up and I couldn't drive down from CT for the pick up. When I called to switch to delivery, Leo was extremely polite and helpful.

This place is ALWAYS having promotional events through eventbrite. I would recommend joining the mailing list so you get heads up before the event brute notifies everyone. Prices is pretty decent for the neighborhood.

Bought a bottle of Japanese Whisky. Great customer service and bottle was ready for pick up right after made the payment online. The only downside is liquors a bit pricey but understandable.

Went for a gin tasting back in August 2016. Cozy (i.e. small) place, but great selection of not just gin, but wine and other spirits, including many local craft brands.
