The old man working there is really rude. Asked him if there is better quality/cleaner mint and coriander in the back. His response was "This is all we have, if you want it take it if not then leave". I used to be a customer here since 5 years, but I will never return to this establishment since they are rude and arrogant.

I have been visiting East Indian Super Market for last many years and it's the tidiest Asian Store in town. the owners are very co-operative and the product selection is excellent. The customer service is also the best. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for quality products and great service.

The worst customer service I have seen by an Indian Grocery store. The lady who does the billing is very rude and some times gives you a feeling as if she is doing some favor to us when we purchase any items from her store. This is not my 1 time experience but this has been pretty consistent.

They have all the indian stuff available but the worst part is the poor customer support . The ladies at the billing counter are rude , they seriously need to work on a better client friendly approach. The present approach is as if they are doing a favour to the clients and not business .

Once I wanted to return a coffee powder immediately after purchase. The mean looking Old lady at the cashier asked me if it's too expensive for me. Very inappropriate question. These people are taking advantage of the fact that there are very few Indian groceries in oakville.

Nice little store, a little bit of everything but not much of anything. They should consider a larger location with the steady traffic of people. Family run which is great to support. A little more expensive compared to Mississauga Indian stores but you save the drive.

Just moved into town and it was my first time coming to this store. It had a great selection and I was able to find everything I need for a reasonable price. The customer service was great as well! I would recommend checking it out if you're in the area!

The store is full of all essential items that Indian people need to have say fruits, vegetables, groceries, puja items etc. You will find some of the vegetables not as fresh as you really want but still worth purchasing. The groceries are

It’s my goto Indian store as it’s closer to my place where I live however their return options should get “0” rating. I had few experiences where products were past expiry and they just don’t take it back and refund so would appreciate if

They are fraudsters. I bought a couple of gulab jamun ($8.99 per lb), two rasogollas ($9.99 per lb) and two milk cakes ($11.99 per lb). The owner packed all of these in one box and charged me $11.99 per lb. When asked why I was charged a

Simple and standard Indian grocery store. You ll find most things for daily use here and if not the exact product, you can easily find a substitute. I would still recommend calling and confirming at this store before you go to be on the

  • Ridhima Suri

It's not the best Indian store however it's still quite sufficient since they stock multiple items , fresh vegetables, frozen foods, spices etc. They always have festival related stuff. The staff and owners are pleasant to talk with.

This is a great shop to buy spices and ingredients that you can't find in regular grocery stores but they do also sell produce and dairy items. They also sell things like onion seeds, Kashmiri chili powder, amchur, and black sesame

The store is conveniently located and hence the ONLY reason I ever go there. $25 for a bag of Aashirwad Atta is outrageous. All items in the store are highly marked up for prices. I suggest to avoid this place as much as possible.

Probably the only subcontinent store in Oakville. They have a decent stock of items required from an indian grocery shopping perspective. They have fruits, vegetables and snacks of interest to the Indian community.

  • Hardeep Matharu

Great selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. The variety of Indian spices were amazing as well. Had great costumer service.. I’ll definitely be doing all my Indian grocery shopping from East Indian Supermarket !

  • Joe D

Very friendly, family run store. I go there for their Samosas, which are tasty and fairly priced. I am not East Indian, (not that it matters) but people are always on the hunt for a good Samosa, find them here !!

  • Sunita Mistry

They’re are way better Indian stores than this one in Oakville The handful of times I’ve been to this store . It’s been dirty, overcrowded and the produce is never fresh, poor selections and the owners are rude.

  • Stefan Rees

The international section at most grocery stores in the area isn't great but The East Indian Supermarket has a great selection of spices, sauces, breads, legumes, fresh produce and so much more.

  • Erez Zevulunov

Great family owned business. East Indian food, spices, and much more. Very good. Reasonable prices. Lots of Organic indian spices which is great. Little crowded to walk through. Will be back.

Good Indian imports, good prices, staff could be more helpful and friendly, but that's not a real problem. Henna and many other goods besides food. Cleaner than most Indian grocers!

  • Stani Manzi

First time in this store, I had a great experience with all the employees and owners, found prices to be very fair and lots of food choices. Definitely recommend it!

  • Kiran MVV

I literally don't want to give it a 1 star... It's literally an extremely poor man's substitute for a Desi Mundi or a Sabji Mandi or even Patel which is average...

Decent Indian store in oakville area. Small but arranged. Like everyone mentioned, the prices are higher compared to the Mississauga based stores.

  • Ali Wahab

good place to get Pakistani and indian products in Oakville. A reasonable option than going to Mississauga.

  • Saurabh Maheshwari

Nice little Indian Grocery store in Oakville. You will get most of the daily routine Indian grocery here.

  • Deepak Illal

It's like an Indian Convenience store in Oakville. I go there if I don't have a long item list.

  • atul purohit

The store is alright and have all the stuff I typically want at a reasonable price.

  • Shikha Arora

Good place for Indian grocery shopping. You'd usually get fresh vegetables as well.

  • Pradeep K. Jain

They carry good stuff at reasonable rates, but they need improved customer service
