I love shopping at Eddies Meat Market. They make a huge variety of hot take out foods with many needing a special order. The store is very cramped like an old style store in Eastern Europe or an old style Deli. If you blink you might miss something you might have not seen for years. Recently they instituted a deposit policy and I wish more stores did this. Many customers never take into account that it costs a business money to reserve food or a table in a restaurant. I know of some businesses that had the entire place booked and no one showed up, they all cancelled reservations. Inconsiderate slops are putting many firms at risk and it is about time that more stores made these slops start paying for their lack of manners and consideration. If a business orders in food and you cancel you could be the person that tips them over the edge into bankruptcy putting staff out of work. We have seen due to COVID many generations style of business that have folded as they couldn't get enough business to stay afloat. My wife loves when I go to this store as they always have something available that reminds her of growing up in Poland. I just wish they would open up closer to where we live as it is over 1 hour each way to drive there. Lots of people in Thornhill or North York would support this old style Deli. I look forward to getting our order this weekend and seeing the growing smile on my wife's face as she tucks into the things I ordered.

Nice store with plenty of products ,really appreciated it's here in Mississauga, but customer service needs weekly periodical training to remove former East European socialist store attitude of employes. From today experience. I line up in meat section. In front of scale where I assume assistant doing some wrapping will serve me. Pretended he does not see me putting ironshield mask on his face 80cm far from me, I asked him if he can help me. He said . One moment please ! and continue to do packing job behind the counter. After 5min passed I am asking him if he is serving me or not. And After toal 7min I am there he told me he is not serving customers. Avoiding eye contact , not saying sorry or apologizing .Young lady stepped in and served me but no sorry ,when I explain what happened. My advice to management's .Please do not position individuals without basic customer relationship skills behinds the counter, or if you have to , mark employees with different dress code or , mark area where I will be served. Simple like that and I would mark 5*. Hope it will help with weekly training of employees and my next experience will be positive.

Hidden gem. I lived in the area since 2001 and passed by this store many times but never went in as it doesn't look like much from the outside. Have been shopping at Starsky close by quite often. One day went in to see what it's all about, thinking it will be just deli, and was literally blown away. It's like a one stop shop with deli, bakery, butcher, general produce store. First of all, the staff are extremely friendly here. It has a family business vibe. Unlike at Starsky, the cashiers don't even say hello (try it, you will see.. it's consistent). The deli section is much more fresh because they make almost everything themselves, and have control of ingredients and freshness. The problem I had at Starsky is that deli meats will go bad in the fridge sometimes after a couple of days. The quality at Eddies is perfect. The baked goods come from their bakery, baked the same day, and great selection of pastries, breads, buns, cakes. My wife is Asian and she appreciates this store, likes to try something new every time she visits because everything is fresh and tasty.

Nice place to shop at with reasonable prices. But horrible staff. Came here for the first time with my boyfriend who speaks polish. The two girls at the cash didn't acknowledge us right from the start and assumed we didn't understand them so they started speaking about personal things that shouldn't be said in front of customers and laughed because we "didn't understand" as soon as my boyfriend gave them a look they shut up. The prices aren't worth coming here again ... I rather spend a few extra $ and go to Starskys down the road

Good, but not the best place to buy a polish food. Good variety of products, clean, organized place, some wonderful employees, plenty of parking spots (however, the parking at the back of store has not the best surface, so be careful there). Over the 10 - 12 yrs of being a loyal customer, I had few problems there. Well, my complains were resolved to my satisfaction, a product was exchanged or something of equal value was offered. It happened again, but for me, it is enough, I quit going there. Yes, I am not a satisfied customer!

Was recommended this deli by a friend and happened to be nearby. Pick you own bun from a large selection of freshly baked buns and kaisers. Huge selection of deli meats and many Polish homemade dishes. I ended up having a BBQ chicken with jalapeno havarti cheese. I was remarkably surprised by the care taken to prepare the sandwich perfect. The quality cheese and meats sliced perfectly and just the right combination of tomatoes, onions and real mayo. It was a simply amazing taste sensation. Truly a sandwich made with love!

Amazing store! One of the best Polish stores in North America. Everything that they have in there is very high quality. Their fresh meat is high quality from mennonites. Their deli meats and sausages are fantastic. As well as hot food, baked goods, and much more. Great place to shop for Polish food! You will be very impressed I highly recommend it. It would be nice if they had another location. As well as a dining area to eat at their store.

Good store, fresh and good quality beef but very expensive. Parking is easy but when you entering Dundas during the rush hours it is not that pleasant. Store is big, they have good take out food but again price are very, very high. I bought two rolled chicken fillets and price was 5.45$ each plus tax??? They have good choices of European food. Mostly Polish crowd in the store. Overall nice store but so expensive ....

Had the pleasure of ordering a 45lbs roasted pig this past weekend from Eddie's. Amazing taste! Great price for the size indeed! The pig was very well roasted and served hot, perfect for my guests. Definitely recommend Eddie's for anyone looking to order a roasted pig for any event. I always shop at Eddie's for all my meats, deli, bbq and baked goods. High quality at its Finest and the staff are wonderful!

I thought I was in a Beauty contest or modeling agency..the female staff are so beautiful. The cooked food here is amazing and the staff so helpful, this is a great place to go and pick up a meal on those days you don't feel like cooking.I don't understand why people go to fast food restaurants when you could go to this place and get authentically cooked meal for cheaper than the fast food restaurants.

The best Polish store ever! Nice place, nice atmosphere, especially that you can buy the best and delicious food, cakes, good vegetables, Polish and other European products. Eddies Meat Market has the best meat ever, which is in reasonable prices. Perfect service and professional allows you to feel you are in a right place doing your shopping. I strongly recommend to come in for shopping.

Twise I got old stuff, once I bought some ham, it turn green next day, not long ago, I bought 1 kg of ground beef, went bad over night in a fredge, went next day, got a kilogram of fresh ground beef, and was asked to pay 16 cents difference on price, bottom line, if you are regular costumer you will get fresh meat, but if you go there to grab something once in a while, watch out .

This place is like a healthy gourmet fantasy land! Highest quality, affordable pricing and the best selection of European treats, cheeses of all kinds, hormone free meats, prepared foods, fresh cakes and deli. They even sell organic eggs by trays of 30 for a fraction of the price at regular grocery. Very authentic and great service. I'll be back and I highly recommend it.

This market sells a wide variety of goods, and fresh food, especially the quality of the meats, is excellent. The market also sells delicious desserts such as cheesecake and doughnuts. The cashiers are lovely and polite, and the workers are always cheerful. Acceptable price. Eddies Meat Market also has a credit program for its loyal customers. Good place for shopping!

This Polish market is a hidden gem that I discovered today after having driven by a dozen times. The bakery section with many cakes that I haven't tried was mesmerizing and the deli section with smoked cheeses and cold cuts is salivating. It amuses me that the cakes are sold by weight. I will return for more Polish adventures.

Amazing fun little Polish market that I went to on a date with my hot girlfriend. We found some sweet looking pickles that we had never tried before. If it wasn't for eating a low carb diet I would have also left with one of every cake I saw. They looked so delicious!! But still not quite as delicious as my girlfriend.

Service and staff are biggest drawbacks for me. I know that some people are feeling nostalgic about this place but overpriced meat and having to deal with staff attitude is just not worth it. There is a far better option in the neighbourhood with better prices, friendlier service and larger offering.

Family owned polish delicatessen. 100% satisfaction guaranteed!!! Delicious desserts, cheese, cold cuts, fresh bread and buns, meat department is offering organic free of any antibiotics meats and many other products. Friendly stuff will be more than happy to make your visit very special!! …

Amazing Polish Sausages. I picked up some of the beef/pork BBQ sausages to grill up and it blew away my expectations. I haven’t tried much of anything else yet but I’ll definitely be coming back. If you’re going to grill up sausages, this is the place to pick them up!

  • pls work

Looks a nice enough store and also looks clean but if you don’t speak Polish you’re not supposed to shop there. Watched two employees working cash blatantly talk about an elderly customer in polish. At least have the courage to comment (insult) about them in English.

I have been a customer of this store for almost 30 years. I like many foods, cold cuts and cheeses, pastries, and especially tripe soup. This soup is the most delicious compared to those sold by other stores. And, of course, very fresh meat at good prices.

This is a small place with some traditional Polish treats. We are from Belarus and our interests here are farm groceries, bakes and meat section also we like certain spices&herbs not common elsewhere. They can do smoke piglets by preorder.

Amazing selection, very well priced lunch sandwich. Grab a fresh bun, bring it to the deli counter and the ladies will make you the best sandwich you've ever had. Great choice of polish drinks too. Really enjoyed my visit. Thanks!

  • Mary Chatz

Great place to get European foods, especially Polish. They have a good selection on their meat counter, fresh veggies and baked goods. Good alternative to Starskey's down the street from them and the staff is much friendlier.

  • Jeffrey Taylor

Eddies meat market is so much more than meat. Great selection and fair prices of authentic Polish foods, local and imported. The Polish candies I surprise my wife with remind her of childhood - she can't believe the prices!

  • Maciek S

Great meat and cold cuts. Most of the meat is antibiotic free ( supplier is Liberte). Lots of cheeses at a good price. Good selection of other Polish food. If you spend over $50 they will give you a free chocolate :)

My mom and me we are always so happy to buy here. We are not so frequent customers, but we are always very satisfied with the products and the excellent customer service there. We always recommend this place

Eddies has been my go-to for Polish goodies. It’s been consistant quality wise for years. Fresh deli and meat section, delicious herring (sledzie) and pickles… and they have a little bit of everything!

  • Jason Woo

Got sandwiches here for lunch. As you can see they are generous with the meat and really tasty. For $6.99 it's a great deal. You can choose your own type of bun and meat from a huge selection too.

  • Sebastian Kuśmierek

Great service with its best variety, which is called Polish hospitality. Wide selection of dishes and drinks and the catering is a masterpiece. I sincerely recommend service and shopping here.

  • Anna Maria Murynowicz

Fantastic selection of meats and coldcuts, also products straight from Poland (in jars). Love country style herrings. Store provides catering . Staff is nice. Would highly recommend …

A small store with not vast but nice selection of mostly Polish deli. Meat section is good as well as few grocery items from Mennonites.
