How interesting it is when people intentionally try to smear mud over a school by saying as many negative things as they can which are unfounded and untrue. I send all my kids to this school and have from Prep 2007. Not only. Have my kids not experienced any bullying, or any issues except for friend spats, but all love their school and would recommend it to any of their out of school friends. Its what I class as cheaper private school with a solid Christian base. Cheaper than any other private schools around, but in no way cuts any corners, better small class sizes, better sense of community as the schools not Huge ! I know a few of my friends who decided not to spend the extra money to be private, and are having so many issues at a close public school they told me they will send their kids back to Edinburgh ! I also know my older Daughters friend moved from another prominent school in the area O....... due to issues she was having there and her parents always talk about how much she loves it at Edinburgh. If as the "so called previous student" review said, it's a 1out of 5 star school, why then did they continue to go there for 7 years? A bit strange if you ask me Public school is free, why did they continue to PAY thousands more to supposedly send their "daughter" to such a "bad place"when there are so many other schools around the area, and free public schools! Doesn't make any sense to me at all! So, don't believe all the bad bad reviews you read, as usually they are not telling you the truth and are written by people who love the ability to attack someone on the internet without any repercussions. I support, and love this school as all my kids do as well and if you don't believe my review, just visit the school and take a look for yourself and make your own mind up on your own first hand observations !

As someone who was a student at this school from prep to year six (2005-2012), I for one would NOT recommend sending your children to this school. I was teased by most of the girls, pulled my hair and kicked my legs under the desks then blaming it on me and called names such as vampire ('cause I have very pale skin). The boys made fun of me because I was a girl and not 'popular', they threw things at me, laughed when I cried from being hurt (I told my parents but they brushed it off as them liking me). In year 2 I was called lazy because I was too anxious to speak in front of the class. In year 4 I was yelled at because I didn't understand certain things and had trouble writing in cursive. My year 6 teacher never taught our classes properly and only talked about the AFL. When I was enrolling to the secondary school, my enrollment had to be cancelled from moving home, we asked for the refund on my uniform (which was given back to the school) but never got paid back, the school still owes my parents money after about 5 years. Again, I absolutely DO NOT recommend send your children here. Thanks

I cannot recommend Edinburgh College enough. After a bad experience, for my son, at another College, we moved him last year to Edinburgh for Year 10. The difference has been like night and day. The caring nature of all the staff and teachers - not just the ones who teach him, is absolutely a God sent. His attitude toward school and homework has genuinely changed and his happiness at home is a Joy. My daughter started there for year 7 this year and we have experienced the same blessings with her. Year 7 is a hard enough transition without the added complexity of no friends at the school, but the support and caring focus of everyone involved has made her first term feel so much more supported than we could have imagined. We will be forever grateful. If you are looking for an excellent, caring, supportive school with teachers that genuinely care about all elements of your child’s education, happiness and wellbeing, then look no further. In my view Edinburgh College is the best thing you can do for you children’s education years and beyond.

We love our school. We are a Christian family but we do not practice or go to Church regularly, however we have found this school to be amazing. & respectful of our choices. I love watching my children grown & learn in such a nurturing , caring, loving environment. One of my children has had issues with confidence & anxiety from Prep & all of their teachers have worked closely with them & now they are able to speak in front of the class & with a microphone in front of the school. The are teaching my children amazing values, like Respect, Kindness, Love just to name a few. I am now noticing them demonstrating these values outside of school in their day to day lives, & that is how I know that this is the best school for us.

I Couldn't speak more highly than Edinburgh College, Both primary and secondary staff go above and beyond for all the students, always approachable and always have the students best interests at heart. They are kind, thoughtful and always there for each and every child. The schools gives each child such great opportunity's and also great self values. Each time i enter a classroom or front office i feel so welcomed and every students is always in such high respect to each teacher, parent and student! I have 3 children that attend the school and i wouldn't sent them anywhere else, i highly recommend the college to anyone from Early learning to senior school!

As a previous student, I can confidently say that this is one of the best school experience's you or your child can have. The teachers are very passionate and even have a wide selection of "electives" and VCE subjects for those who are interested in doing a VCE. My only gripe is that there isn't much passion towards any sport beside basketball. Which means if your child is passionate about another sport then that interest wont really be supported to the extent it could be at other schools. Other wise it's a good school. (and for those Adventists out there - it's a very good school).

An amazing school with the most wonderful sense of community. Tim, the teachers and support staff go above and beyond to provide a nurturing and safe environment. The campus is immaculately maintained and provides spectacular views and state of the art facilities. We have seen our eldest daughter thrive within the college community, which in turn has had a significant influence on her younger sister who has embraced the opportunities provided by Edinburgh with open arms. 5 stars does not do the college justice.

I was a placement teacher at Edinburgh secondary school, and found the students very respectful and demonstrate very good values to support one another. The teacher are very dedicated to the learning and wellbeing of the students. The online learning program and community support is exemplary! Beautiful campus, and good science labs. Outdoor Education is very popular amongst students there. School leaders are very dedicated and caring to the staff and the families under their care.

Was there for half of my schooling years, the only reason I left was due to the lack opportunity regarding the career path of trades but otherwise it is a fantastic environment to learn in, small classes when I was there ment that the teachers could spend more one on one time and how beautiful the grounds are and always have been immaculate, it was a privilege to experience as a child, never realised how good it was till I was gone :).

My daughter has attended this childcare for 2 years and there really is none like it. The personalised, caring, nurturing environment ensures me that she is getting the best preparation for school, and life, possible. They are wonderful people who go above and beyond for the kids and their families. After attending multiple child care centres, I would 100% reccomend Edinburgh ELC. Thank you for all that you do.

We couldn’t speak higher of Edinburgh College supporting our 4 children with all areas of education. The teachers and staff are continually engaging our students with experiences and knowledge that impacts them far beyond school years. It is a wonderful community to be apart of and we feel confident that our children are becoming the best versions of themselves in a kind, caring and blessed environment.

I have been Incredibly impressed by Edinburgh College, not only are the grounds and facilities impressive but more importantly the teaching staff, I have not come across a single teacher that is not passionate about what they do. As a mother of a young boy I have been very happy with the respect and values they instil onto the kids and all of the programs that are available. Highly recommend!

Edinburgh College is the only school we found in our extensive searching that could cater for our two kids in the same year level -- a big ask, as they are chalk and cheese! We love the caring touch that a small school can offer, coupled with the excellence in teaching that we expect. We recommend the College to anyone looking for quality education in a nurturing environment for their child.

  • Janet Van Dijk

Our kids have been going to this school for over 8 years and we are more than happy that we changed from another school. We have had experience with all three campuses ... early learning, primary, and secondary... and think very highly of both the facilities and the teaching staff. Most importantly, our kids love it there.

  • Taryn Kearney

Both our children attend Edinburgh College, we chose this school due to the size, they are small in numbers however they provide opportunities of a large school. Our children have greatly benefited from the kind and caring nature of the staff at Edinburgh and we love their social media feed, it is very entertaining.

  • Deb Lockhart

We have been warmly welcomed into the Edinburgh College community. Our son has entered Year 7 and is relishing with all the experiences and challenges that Secondary school has to offer. Communication is 5 star . An Amazing and Supportive school with truly dedicated staff. Thank you - The Lockhart Family

This is a beautiful school. I had so many positive happy experiences here. I attended high school here and later as a Uni student I completed my final 5 week teaching round here and saw the school from the 'inside'. It was all excellent, if I lived closer I would definitely consider working here.

  • Rhianna McIntosh

What a wonderful school! We are extremely happy with every aspect of Edinburgh College. The teachers and staff are so approachable and supportive. Our daughter is so much happier in herself and feels cared for and nurtured in such a positive and engaging environment. Highly recommended ✨

  • Charlee Chapchap

We are still very happy with our choice 5 years later with our choice of school. No school is perfect but if you want a school where the care is paramount and majority of the teaching staff listen and really truly care then this is a great school for you. Nurture ++

I was watching my granddaughter play basketball yesterday against this school and was disgusted at how those girls, parents and in particular staff members conducted them selves. It was an absolute disgrace to themselves and the school.

  • Joshua Kleinmeulman (icecreamgaming)

I change my mind about this school, I was in class drinking water and then I started choking and coughing my head off and once I finished that I was very embarrassed and I realise that my school bullies were laughing at me

  • :0

none of the students that go to the high school like it. know of 5 students who have moved in year nine. they don’t care about student wellbeing at all. believe me don’t come to this school.

  • Cheese Cheddar

As a student at this school this is the worst school to send your kids the other kids are bullies and the teachers do nothing but the counsellors are good (Mr Watkins's are good tho)

  • Ann guy

Part of Edinburgh College - christian faith based Long Day Care, open to the public, caring staff with wounderful grounds including real grass and plenty of room to move.

Do not send your child to this school if they require assisted learning. This school is not equipped and would actually prefer you not attend.

  • Tiana Song

The students are respectful and responsible! Amazing art, music and sports programs. Science is outstanding!
