Coming from a small town with limited resources at our local high school, this was a complete game changer! Our daughter was a little intimidated at first since she didn't know anyone on the tour and some of the kids looked like they knew each other, or were from the same school. I asked her teacher to introduce her to some of the other students who were also travelling solo as this was her first time travelling without us. After the first hour of our daughter sending texts like "I don't know anyone", and "I feel a little scared", and "I'm feeling homesick" by the end of the afternoon I had to send her repeated texts asking her how she was getting on. Typical teenager - she was having too much fun and forgot to let me know she'd made 3 new friends! The written work, some of the heavier subject matter (Holocaust Museum, War Museum, Child Soldiers Exhibit at the UN) was perfectly balanced with an afternoon in the By Ward Market, fantastic food at the hotels, seeing the UN, and catching the Musical Wicked on Broadway no less! The itinerary made my husband and I envious and we heard ourselves say more than once "I wish I had had something like this when I was in high school". I can't recommend this program enough, and will be telling other parents in our school about the care that Edutravel took to ensure that the balance of subject matter, educational value, safety, and fun was masterfully managed.

Our daughter attended Canadian Geography in the summer of 22 and had one of the best weeks of her life. After missing out on so much of middle school through the pandemic it was her first real taste of independence. She learned a ton and made incredible friendships. I think the social time and development helped her enter highschool with a confidence she would not have had otherwise. The teachers were excellent and the Instagram account detailed their adventures several times a day. It was a highlight for us to follow along there, as sometimes it's hard to pull details of the day out of teens ;) It also showcased the jam packed iteneray of learnings and adventures, that was so much more than in the basic itenary I had seen ahead of time. The pit stops and outdoor settings for lessons on trails and waterfalls showed that a great deal of consideration was put into making it the most fun and engaging for everyone possible. Our daughter is eargerly awaiting her History in France trip this summer. Going alone this time and honestly not that nervous as she had such a fabulous time last summer. This is huge for her. I credit a lot of her confidence and independence to her trip with Edutravel last summer. Her little sister will be joining next year :)

My son had an amazing time getting his Grade 11 French credit in France in the summer of 2022 with Edutravel. We frankly can't believe how much the leaders were able to pack into those three weeks. Managing the logistics of setting up, and navigating to, those activities was a monumental feat! The students were given an amazing opportunity not only to be immersed in French sights, culture and language, but also to develop independence and self-reliance. Truly an experience of a lifetime! Although we missed our son a lot (and were often pretty jealous of the group's adventures), we didn't worry for one minute. The regular Instagram updates were a lovely way to stay connected to the group and we felt very confident that they were in capable hands. The leaders commented in their regular updates how lovely the kids were, but we all know that the tone set by the leaders is so important in creating the kind of harmony and curiosity that makes these trips a success. I unreservedly recommend this program.

We had a terrific experience with Ari Sargon and the EduTravel team last summer! Since then we have highly recommended them to other parents as our daughter gets ready to travel again this summer. EduTravel provides the unique opportunity to experience the highlights and rich culture of popular travel destinations while earning a high school credit. Our daughter had an amazing time in New York City and has since decided it is her favourite city! She is also proud of the work she put into the World Religions credit course and doing so has given her flexibility with her high school course planning. From a parent perspective the teaching staff run the course work portion with great flexibility (i.e. remote) and the travel portion is flawlessly executed with a team of caring and responsible teaching staff. Safety was never a concern. This is a summer adventure worth having!

EduTravel is a fantastic program for students in high school wanting to earn an education while traveling different places in the world. All of the staff are knowledgeable and efficient in providing an incredible safe experience for the students. Both the admin staff and the trip staff made the experience one that these students will never forget. Our daughter received her Grade 11 Biology credit while learning and exploring Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. This trip involved 8 flights, all of which were seamless during a time of Covid restrictions. Also she was given the opportunity to make friends from all over the province. My daughter just returned from the Grade 9 Canadian Geography Course. She absolutely loved the experience and loved all of the teachers involved. She has never been away from home for more than a night. The first 24 hours was an adjustment until all the kids really started getting to know one another. She loved camping in Algonquin, especially all the group activities around the campfire, Science North and loved all the sites in Toronto. I’ve received a ‘play by play’ for the past two days, since she has returned. My daughter has already started planning a Canada’s Wonderland date with all of the students she travelled with. We will definitely enroll our daughter in the Civics and Careers Course next summer! I am so impressed with the Edutravel Program. What a great experience for all kids!

Our daughter went last summer to France and Belgium for grade 10 History class and we were impressed with how good everything was organized and how much they got to visit and learn. Every day was packed to the last minute! Visiting the battlefields, cemeteries and monuments and museums definitely created a deeper and more relatable learning experience. I'm sure everything they learned and seen in this trip will I'll stay with them for the rest of their lives. Wished we did geography last year with EDU travel, but we didn't know about it at that time. Next stop: Civ & Career for March Break. The best part: you can use the time in class for a different credit of your choice! Love it! We will definitely continue to take every year a credit through EDU travel.

Our son had an incredible experience with EduTravel. He learned so much - both academically and a lot of "life learning" too. The teachers and principal who were with the students in France were incredible. They created a culture of learning, friendship and curiosity. They were fun and relatable, while at the same time professional. The whole EduTravel team was equally incredible and worked so hard to make this course happen during challenging times of an ongoing pandemic. They ensured both students and parents were well prepared for the experience and communication was great. We would highly recommend an EduTravel experience for any young person with a curiosity about learning and the world.

We are so happy our girls got to experience NY the way they did. They are exhausted but have lots of exciting stories to share. Makes it all worth it. Staff were attentive and quick to reply to any of my concerns as a parent. Teachers were also great with the students. All activities were fun, interactive, and engaging making it a perfect learning environment. This was a good way to get some excitement into their learning. After the difficult 2 years for our students with so many limitations, I am happy they had a fun, educational trip and made many new friends. Although there is school work involved, this is a great way to get a full high school credit!

Big props to the entire Edutravel team for making my daughters trip to NYC such an enjoyable experience. She is so sad it is over, but happy it has happened and that is due to the commitment of the entire Edutravel staff. It is apparent that the adults embraced the opportunity for the teens to truly enjoy themselves and this is so appreciated! He learned so much through this course about the places he traveled to and about himself. From the online school to the travel week everything ran very smoothly. I can't say enough about how amazing EduTravel has been for my sons. From California to Montreal to NYC, EduTravel has curated wonderful learning experiences for countless youth. I had an amazing time on the history trip to France last summer! It was an incredible experience to learn about history where so many parts of the course actually took place. Despite going without knowing anyone, I quickly formed really strong friendships, and one of the students from the trip is now my best friend.
