This is Adriber I will always provide the best and honest reviews. After hearing about this place much I decided to give it a try. The parking space are very narrow if you drive a nice car the odds of getting a door dent is pretty high. Walking inside I did notices the price on some fruit were lower than other stores. Besides that I personally didn't think the price on the other items weren't that competitive. The store needed some serious cleaning. I pass by the sweet bread also known as Mexican bread section. And it made my stomach turn as I saw flies just going from bread to bread. And the customer service is not any better I don't think they even know what that means. Someone mention is because is a Mexican store. In my opinion that's not a valid excuse for poor service. I don't care if the store is Mexican, Asian, American everyone has the right to expect good if not great customer service. So bummed out drove so far for this place. As always I'm the firm believer of quality over quantity. This is my review and remember always look for adriber for the best and honest review.

Never coming here again! My mom bought a cake here on Thursday May 7th 2020 around 2 pm. It was for work and she brought some back for us to try. This morning we were eating some of it and as we were doing so my little sister took something out of her mouth. At first we thought she didn't want anymore but then we saw that she put something on the table. It was a safety pin. How it got there? No idea. It could've been from they're name tags or something but all I know is that this is completely unacceptable and I wish we still had the receipt because what if my little sister had swallowed that? The lady kept the receipt so we don't even know who to tell or what to do. There is no way they could've found this at our home because we specifically don't have any of those types of things in our household for this exact reason. They should be more aware of what they are doing because that is extremely irresponsible and uncaring of them!

On our visit we went to go and get BEEF RIBS, POTATOES, and SNACKS. To my surprise I SEEN FLIES THAT WERE FLYING IN THE MEAT CASES WITH THE DOORS SHUT! I ALSO SEEN FLIES LANDING AND FLYING AROUND IN THE CHICHARONES (DRIED SKIN)! I tried to speak to a MANAGER, so I asked 5 different workers "MAY I SPEAK WITH YOUR MANAGER PLEASE". Their response was.... " I DON'T KNOW WHERE THEY ARE" and WALKED AWAY without even saying lets go and find them. I AM VERY VERY DISPLEASED WITH THIS STORE AND WILL NEVER GO BACK. TODAY IS 5-16-20 A DAY I WILL NEVER FORGET THAT "EL SUPER" HAVE FLIES THAT WERE INSIDE THE CASES FOR THE MEAT and CHICHARONES, and 5 EMPLOYEES DIDNT KNOW WHO THEIR MANAGER WAS!! TO CORPORATE: IF YOU WANT PROOF SEND ME YOUR EMAIL AND I WILL BE HAPPY TO SEND VIDEO AND PICTURES OF THE EVENT

The grocery store was okay, but the parking lot experience is hideous. The store's inability to keep the lot clean has caused damages to vehicles, more specifically my vehicle, simply because there is no shopping cart corrals to encourage customers to place the shopping carts in the appropriate return-location. I suggest to anyone reading this post to station your vehicle away from the front parking spaces because customers are extremely lazy to return the shopping carts back to where it belongs, thus resulting in damages. Customers in that grocery market do not care for damages caused to anyone else's property, especially given the demographics of the area.

Good prices, nice people work here but the Owners or managers DO NOT bother on having more than 3 cashr open. There is only 2 or 3 open in the afternoons for all these volume of shoppers. Poor butchers in the back too! I got #80 but they are serving number 20 right now... This is really bad for people who expect good customer experience. Here I am, in the line waiting. I encourage other customers to complain too. What is in these Owners or managers head?? Lots of people shop here. Do you understand the term 'happy customers"? Wonder if they will even bother in reading this post. I bet they care less about their overworked employees.

Omg I dont know who arranges the inside but they really need to do some upgrades. It's so hard to get through Isles because they have either boxes of stuff left in the middle of everywhere or they have stuff close to the cashiers. The meat department oh man that's a whole other story lol you literly wait for about 30-45 minutes to have you're number called ..oh and you better be ready because they will say number after number not giving a chance for someone to say they have the number, and they only have up to 2-3 people on the floor while theirs over 50 numbers to be called . WORST STORE TO GO TO ..especially if you're in a hurry.

Worse store ever!!!! Was racially profiled and wish it was recorded. I'd sue them. I called 911 and they never came. I don't deserve to be followed around the grocery store and yelled at " I have to pay" I wasn't done shopping. I was looking for a handcart to carry while I push my baby in her stroller. I will be filing a complaint with the EEOC better business bureau and whoever else I look up and find. You're a racist store that's less than 1 mile from my house I deserve to be able to purchase my 6 month old baby some food ...shame on you!! You need to fix this situation immediately.

First time in the store, I knew there was a reason I always pass it up for either food city or Walmart. Horrible service. Nobody friendly in the meat area. Moving very slow, understaffed, no sense of urgency. Busy Tuesday evening and about nine people waiting for meats With only one person helping and three others doing God knows what. All it takes is one bad experience to ruin someone’s taste in their mouth about your business. You could’ve made me a lifelong customer, fix this before more people start turning elsewhere. General managers, this is important.

Prices are good. Unfortunately, the majority of the employees are the most rudest and ill mannered people i have ever seen. Any other grocery store goes out of their way to greet and smile at you. Additionally, most stores do their stocking at night. Not El Super, they think nothing of blocking off the isles so you cant get through. I have written and attempted to call their corp office in Calif. There is never a response. You wounder why if i feel this way??..its pretty much because im forced to. Thats another story for another day, lol.

Everytime I come to this store the wait to leave is about 20 minutes. There has been instances where they have only one cashier and you can see that there is about eight people waiting in line with nobody else even attempting to help. As being previous management in customer service it seems that even the manager is not present to assist the cashiers. I'm writing this because I spoke out and I noticed that the people behind me also spoke out, that shows that there's plenty of people that are concern with the length of time they wait.

We visit this location for good produce and meat sales. Self bagging is no big deal. We do that at Winco and Food City too. Keeps my squishy stuff from getting heavy stuff put on top of it. This is a store that caters to Mexican clientele. They act the way stores in Mexico act, go to Rocky Point and you will experience the same. If you want employees to kiss your butt, go to an American heavy white customer store. Those stores push employees to meet high American standards... That's why they are not in mostly minority neighborhoods.

Had never been here but had to make a run to the store for some beverages and pet food. Other stores I usually shopped were closed, but El Super was still open, thankfully. Place was clean and employees were friendly and prices were in practically in same price margin as other nearby grocery stores, except a few items possibly cheaper/ higher, but overall nothing that stood out or turned me off to the store. Will be back I'm sure for more last min/ late night shopping runs.

Good specials but vegetables spoil fast. Horrible customer service to the point where they yell at you and say you aren't educated. Happen to my mom we went together, she has two foster kids and was getting them fruit with the food stamps they recieve the lady said my mom is lazy and uneducated the way she was speaking to my mother was horrible. Called corporate and they did not care. Shouldn't have to tolerate that kind of service just to save a few cents.

The bathrooms are broken all the time. It’s a real inconvenience for guests. The women’s bathroom was made into “a men and woman” bathroom. It has multiple stalls and obviously that looks bad if a man walks in when a lady is in the stall. Today, they started to lock the bathroom if a man walks in he locks it even though there’s 3 women outside. It’s an inconveniences as there’s multiple stalls. They really need to fix this issue for customers.

1st time here, not Hispanic but get by with Spanish. This place has almost everything I needed. I made substitutions hope they work out. As always in a Mexican market they have the most beautiful large and cheap produce except for the avocados for some reason. Everyone was polite. Didn't buy anything in the meat market but it all looked great and place smelled clean. That's always a problem with most seafood markets...not here. Thanks

Usually we come to this store to do our grocery's shopping, it is not the best store to go to but now the worse either, but what I can stand is that everyone is required to wear a mask and I completely agree with it but I can stand an store employee not having one and when I confronted him for not wearing a mask he had worst attitude, managment should have a talk with this employee and make him respect everyone in the store.

Guys at the meet dispensary are always talking. They see people waiting and don't call the numbers. 2 persons . And one person just going back and forward doing nothing instead of getting behind the station and start working !! He just talks. And interrupts the other 2 guys. Very disappointed. WHO EVER IS IN CHARGE OF THE STORE IN CHARGE OF EVERY SUPERVISON OR MANAGER. EMPLOYEE. NEED TO STEP THERE GAME UP!!!!

Never again. This is my 3rd week. Im very disappointed. The meet shop. There is 2 guys. And a 3rd one. Always talking. Detracting the other 2 from attending customers instead of calling numbers they stand there talking to this one tall slim kid. That guy should get to work not destructing the other and only 2 employees attending the customers. NEVER AGAIN. VERY VERY !!!BAD CUSTUMER SERVICE !!!!

I like this store for some of the deals especially in the meat dept. But its very crowded , has long lines , mornings are bad because they are restocking shelves and they literally take up the whole aisle where you have to go around or skip the aisle all together. Produce section is usually messy , produce on floor , water etc. But will go when having a sale despite all the complaints :)

Very low customer service. Fruit is almost rotten. Personally I seen roaches running around the fruits at the 75 ave and Thomas location. Customer have complained but management have not done anything to resolved the issues. Who is the problem? The community that continues shopping there or there headquarters that put more money in their pockets. Regardless of their customers needs.

Place has a huge variety of Mexican fruits and ingredients as well as a few from other countries, unfortunately the place is a little bit to small for their inventory. You can find floor de calabaza for quesadillas and they bake their own bread and tortillas. The down side is that on Sundays it may take up to an hour to pay, out of the 13 stations they only have 5 cashier's.

Don’t bother coming Here unless u want stand in line for half hour! ... it like 15+ Waiting in line ... how can a big business like this can’t afford cashier? .. only 3 cashier, and you will have to stand in line for 20+ min like seriously.. El Super is a great place to purchase produce and pastries. Inexperience chicken quarters too. There's generally a sale on other meats at all. I mainly visit for the veggies. I throw everything into a cabbage soup, all for a very low price. There's always long lines at checkout, but the cheap prices are worth the wait. Accessible parking and ramps. Wide aisles.

Pay attention everyone! First they charged me extra money on my receipt , I talked to the manager and she kept walking me around and not trying to fix the problem but then we got it fixed, then she gives me attitude and didn’t apologise for charging me extra. I have a request to everyone before you leave the shop you should check your receipt. Be careful.

I stopped going to El super Everytime I would go they haved their forklift honking at everyone shopping and they never open registers they never have more then 3 open at a time even if they see that the lines are all the way in produced their customer service is horrible I now rather pay a little more and get better service and do my shopping in peace

Went to go get some vegetables. While I was picking some limes I noticed mold on most of them mean while my husband was getting tomatoes i let him know there was stuff on the lime. There was mold on the tomatoes too! So we brought it an employees attention and all he says is "oh thats how they come" we just walked out. Never shopping here again.

This store has incredible prices on fruits, vegetables & meat! I must say you have to be an early bird to beat the crowd otherwise you will wait an obscene amount of time if you're in the meat department. It can also get so crowded you're literally bumping into people. It's worth the hassle if you have a large family with a small budget.

It is very close to our house. It wasn't the cleanest and neat store ever but the prices were a bargain. I could get 3 bunches of radishes with price 0.99 cents while at Ranch Market only 2 bunches with the same price. Don't go shopping at weekend or at night because the parking lot will be full and the store will be full of shoppers.

This is one of the grocery stores with the best prices, I couldn't believe all what I bought with only $15 (meat, vegetables and Mexican bread) the last time that I went, and because of its good prices it can get really busy, that's why I try to go in the mornings in week days, to avoid the long lines that can be in the weekends..

Have good sales only real problem I encounter is difficulty getting items, especially fresh fruits and vegetables, due to narrow, short isles, resulting in crowding and usually rude impatient shoppers. El Super needs to reconstruct the layout of the entire store with customers especially disabled customers can move about easily.

Horrible! Do not shop there! If I could give it zero stars I would! The meat counter is so unorganized and the people working it are unfriendly and inconsiderate. They skipped my number and then blamed me for skipping me. Really!? Stood in line to pay for over 30 min! Absolutely horrible! Never coming back here!

I'm not Hispanic and yet I still felt welcome. I can't say that for all of the stores around my neighborhood. Thank you for not holding it against me that I don't speak Spanish. Fantastic fresh produce, amazing chicken!! I highly recommend this place. I got a whole cart of fresh food for $100 can't beat that!

I have a love/ hate for this place it's always packed full and they do not have enough people working there. It always have endless line on every section. And they always seem to be out of stuff around the store. But I love the fresh produce and deli, their own brand tortillas are very delicious.

The market is clean and bright. They offer a good variety of foods and their prices are amazing! Wednesday it's almost impossible to get to the meat counter because of the sales and things get a bit scary in the produce section on Wednesday, too, but their sale prices are unbelievable!

The experience of the store and the friendliness of the employees and other patrons was horribly marred by the cashier whose entire demeanor changed abruptly when she realized I was not Hispanic and didn't speak Spanish. Otherwise, it was a yet another flawless visit to this store.

the store wasn't clean, some of the produce was rotten and good produce piled on top. Meat counter is super SLOW and not to mention the SLOW check out process. I was there over an hour when I could of been in and out within 20 minutes if I had gone elsewhere. Won't be back!

The diversity of hispanic food and food-related products is very good. Price per item is also very good, the establishment is clean. The only times I've had a negative experience has been with the customers, but the employees have been friendly!

Horrible store director ( Juan Guzman ) was very rude. Don't buy octopus from them Bought 3.5 pounds and after cooked it became one pound. These things are packaged in bags and are frozen so they are mostly water.

Employees are rude & skipped my number twice! Knowing ive been standing there. The cashier was the same way rude -.- i came so far to be disappointed smh.

Produce was too ripe. Chicken packages were open. Not very clean. It's ok if you're purchasing canned goods or dairy products. Cashier was very friendly.

I guess going in the morning makes a difference. The vegetables were fresh and the deli area moved quickly. Check out was also fast. Worth the trip!!

Don't waste your time shopping for meat here. They are rude and take there sweet time. Everytime i come here its the same sad story with all of them.

Pricing is always the best in town for the amount of food you can get. Other than that the lines are always full so be prepared to be in a long line.

Produce is awesome, always fresh. Meat section where you can find just about anything you would like and employees are always friendly and helpful !

It's always packed no matter if you go early or late. In the meat department they take forever to call your number. Everything is just a mess.
