We wanted to upgrade our old electrical panel from fuses to breakers and to 200A. Master electrician, Daniel Grapliov came by to give us an estimate and did a thorough inspection both inside and out to determine what was required. We agreed with the estimate and a couple of weeks later he returned with a partner to do the work. We had to relocate the Hydro entrance and even though we had agreed to a solution for this at the time of the estimate, we discussed alternative solutions prior to him starting the work and together with myself decided on a different, less invasive solution. They worked all day and would not leave before he had shown me everything they had done as well as talk about what to do for other potential issues that could come up beyond the work that they did. The breaker panel installed has a 25 year guarantee and the labour is also guaranteed for 10 years. The work to relocate the service entry required work to the roof. I was concerned that there may be potential water leaks afterwards and so I called the company that did my roof to inspect Daniel's work and he told me that everything that was done was exactly what they would have done to protect the roof. Further proof that Daniel is extremely well qualified. I highly recommend Electrilex and Daniel. I should also mention that the person who arranges the appointments is also very efficient and helpful.

Very satisfied! We hired Electrilex to rewire our house entirely. Daniel is friendly, punctual, has a great work ethic and he spent time and efforts making sure everything is done right. He often stayed later than planned to make sure he finished what he started in order to turn the circuits back on and to avoid leaving sections of the home in the dark overnight. He doesn't stop at bringing the electrical system up to code, he has common sense and does what's most logical in terms of redesigning the circuits to optimize the whole house. He takes the time to explain what he's doing and why. We felt comfortable during the whole duration of the project and we have never felt like he was rushing through anything or overlooking things just to get it done. Daniel really knows his stuff and has a very human approach, which was important to us. Working with Daniel was a great pleasure from the beginning to the end of the project. I contacted the company on their site and got a call the very next day. We agreed on the dates and I was given clear expectations about how the work would be done: the first visit to evaluate my needs and, then the actual electric work. During the first visit Daniel listened attentively to my needs, took notes and provided suggested solutions. He also gave a couple of options and scenarios, which was appreciated. The quote including everything we discussed was sent to me by email and I agreed on the final price quote. During the project work there were no surprises: everything discussed was in place (switches, timer, bulbs). A couple of bulbs did not fit. So Daniel came back a couple of days later and installed everything quickly and efficiently. I'd point out Daniel's punctuality, knowledge of the provincial electric code, clear explanations, and patience. Our experience with Daniel was an excellent one. We explained our electrical plans to him and he was able to follow through on them 100%. Daniel came to my home and did an in-depth inspection that was very much needed. We bought our home a year ago and have been experiencing tons of problems with the house. Daniel's pricing for the inspection is very fair and reasonable, and he included a full detailed quote with a list of code violations (compared to another company which asked for triple the cost of inspection and didn't include a list of code violations). He is incredibly knowledgeable - he has the history of electrical codes memorized and he explains things in a way that we can understand. He is an honest, respectable master electrician that I would recommend.

We had a old fuse panel that was causing our furnace to malfunction. We called Electrilex and another company that heavily advertises on local media. Electrilex called within the hour and had Daniel at our house by noon the same day with the problem repaired by that afternoon. The upshot was that we need to replace our panel. Daniel performed both the estimate and the service and was very informative and helpful. During the estimate, he took the time to look and assess properly. He answered my many questions and addressed my concerns as he shared his insights and experience. Our house needed complete rewiring, additional circuits, new plugs and fixtures, and Daniel did it all. He is very conscientious and meticulous in his work, staying to clean up at the end of every day, and always minimizing any electrical disruption to the house.
