I just returned from another trip to Elemental, and it is time to write a review for my hands-down favorite store to procure spirits. Their selection, and the fact that it is comprised of so many things I have not heard of, is so much fun. I have purchased several bottles on a whim/impulse (or received one in a cocktail pack, more on that below) that resulted in a return trip when empty for a restock. This includes items that are not bottles of alcohol. Mixers, garnishes, non-alcoholic beverages...just an outstanding selection of new/fun things. The cocktail packs are really creative, fantastic as gifts, and really fun introductions into craft cocktail areas I had no previous experience with. Location is convenient, with easily-accessed parking in the back. They are COVID-conscious, operating with an open door (sometimes two) and a table just inside where one can place an order or pick up an online order. Masks are required, and only one "person" is allowed in at a given time, but they have this down to a science, so any line (I have only ever been in one and it was 3 people long) moves very quickly. Beyond all of this, however, is the actual service. I have received wine recommendations, bourbon recommendations, gin recommendations, and vodka recommendations. They do not immediately push the highest-priced item on the shelf and genuinely want to collect the information around the "want" to help you make an informed decision, and explain the "why" behind their choices. Their staff and attentiveness to customer service is actually what makes them stand out above the other establishments. I was going to call some people out specifically but I realized **every single person** I have interfaced with either via email or in person has been exceptional and I do not know everyone's name so I would be remiss. I will not shop at any other store unless it is absolutely necessary, and maybe not even then. Thank you Elemental Spirits!

As a long time resident down the street from this store I was excited to finally check it out! Great selection of wines however staff is unfriendly and seems selective on customers they want to assist :( I spent around 30 min. in the store and there were probably only 2-3 other customers during that time who came in before and after me. The staff promptly approached every customer if they wanted help except me, and walked around me several times to get wine out of storage cabinets, etc. This is a fairly tricky store to navigate without staff assistance - I needed to really stretch on my toes to reach the higher shelves to check specific items and there is some light organization of where different things are but it’s not incredibly clear to navigate alone. I did take home a nice bottle of wine from phone research on the fly (and stretching up high!), however I would recommend if you’re looking for a place for staff to advise to go to Vinoteca down the street.

This is my go to spot in Atlanta when I am looking for something out of the ordinary. I've been to Elemental Spirits Co. several times and I've always come back with more than I was looking for -- due in part to their fantastic selection but also because of their awesome staff. A lot of times I show up not knowing exactly what I want and I am always assisted by the really knowledgeable team. Their website is great: you can pre-order for pickup and browse their selection. They are also doing a great job following COVID-19 safety policies. I highly recommend this spot if you're looking for something 'off the beaten path' or need a personal recommendation.

I’ve been a regular customer of Elemental since they opened and can’t say enough good things about them! I love coming in, especially as the staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I’ve gone in for recommendations on a variety of wines and spirits, and they’ve been consistently thoughtful in their suggestions, including providing options at a range of prices without pressuring or upselling. I have also appreciated that they provide the ability to buy online and that they have offered interesting virtual tastings / events (fried chicken and champagne?!) I would recommend Elemental to everyone and love what they bring to the neighborhood

Take all my money. I’ve been coming here for about a year and it’s a little treat every time I stop in. It’s evident that the owner takes care to curate every selection in the store. She’s even gone as far as to special order fancy sake for me. I love discovering new wines, new tequilas, new liqueurs. Everyone who works there is extremely knowledgeable and it’s evident that they love their craft. This is what happens when you put a woman’s touch on a “liquor store”

Really excellent small shop, may well deserve 5 stars once I have a chance to spend more time. Really well curated selection of amaro, liqueurs, bitters, mixers and spirits. Going for interesting, mid to mid high stuff. NOT a place for taters hunting secondary market bourbon (thank God). Wine selection seemed similar, but didn't spend as much time with that. Was looking for a birthday gift and the excellent staff helped with that.

So nice to be able to get efficient, really knowledgeable help to pick something good when I'm on the way home to make dinner. When getting advice, I feel like I'm talking with friends! My husband has been able to try and appreciate many new bourbons as well. We're so happy to have a nicer liquor store close by where you can get amazing service and don't have to deal with the skeezy-bleakness of most liquor stores.

Lovely Family-friendly Bottle shop! Was there for about 30 min today with my husband and baby, saw at least 5 other families with strollers come in, such a nice atmosphere and open space! Wonderful high-end wine and spirits selection with super knowledgeable staff who take the time to help you find unique bottles. Can't wait to try out our purchases. And they have some gorgeous vintage barware on sale to boot!

Interesting place. They carry some off brand liquors tho. Somewhat pricey but not too much. I just moved here so I like the convenience and location since I can walk to it. Parking is around the rear and the staff is pretty courteous. I personally went in for vodka and Bailey's and all though they did not have the specific brand names I wanted they had some nice alternatives which I did enjoy.

I’ve been here twice and all I can say is great job! Your employees are very nice and knowledgeable and the selection is pretty big. There was one young lady specifically who went above and beyond with helping pick mezcal and modifiers. As a former bartender talking to someone with actual input and knowledge will keep me coming back for years to come. Keep up the great work!

Excellent little shop with a wide variety of curated selections- no mass market junk here- so you really can’t go wrong on your own- but Christina provides always on-point guidance if they’re not too busy. This is why knowledgeable, personable shops will beat out big-box stores every time. I go out of my way to this neighborhood just to shop here when I can.

Amazing new shop with a wide range selection of custom bottles. You can tell a lot of care and attention went into picking the stock, and into the store in general. The staff is so knowledgeable and eager to help and talk, the owner personally walked me through the whiskies to find new ones to try. Really excited to try these out and come back for more!

Best spirits store in Atlanta. Wide range of highly curated booze, stuff you can't find anywhere else in town. Top shelf stuff, small batch, and the staff is incredible. They always have great recommendations. I suggest just going in there and asking them what to get in any given genre. Also a great selection of the best canned cocktails you can get.

Did I move to the highlands so I could easily walk to this store? Probably. Well worth it - great staff, always friendly and knowledgeable. Helping us get through quarantine (and continue to keep all their customers safe when shopping) - definitely recommend a visit! Update: still amazing and they have delivery for those that didn’t move to be nearby

it’s a nice place. Parking is a bit weird, but that’s not on them. They don’t have a huge selection but the what they have seems very intentional and curated. It’s not the place to get Svedka or New Amsterdam. The staff is friendly, the layout is clear. And the best part is that they have a wine bath to chill your wine in just a minute or so.

This is our favorite liquor store! Jesse is a wonderful guide to your every wine need. We love that they get rare or unusual wines (&spirits) for affordable prices and their easy to navigate set up. Anytime we go we always get the best recommendations from the staff. We drive 15-20 min to buy from them so YA KNOW it’s worth it

Very nice store, wide variety and very clean. Friendly people and super helpful, suggesting options to costumers. Will definitely become a regular. On another note, they handled the covid-19 situation very professionally not allowing customers to enter the store and touch products etc. Feels a lot safer this way. Thank you guys!

Absolutely a lovely space. Too bad i was not able to walk around and look at many bottles on the wall. However, Christina was very friendly and helpful on what I was looking for. I haven’t tried the wine, yet, but I’m sure I’m going to enjoy it. Will definitely come back here again for more exploration.

Best wine & liquor shop in town. Went yesterday and was BLOWN AWAY by their selection. Seems like they spent a lot of time and care in curating a diverse and robust collection of wines. Everyone there was super knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely my new favorite spot in town.

We are so lucky to have this near our home! Even if it was across town, I would go out of my way for their selection and service. We love their focus on natural and unique wine, knowledgeable staff, and that dogs are allowed in. Stopping in is now a weekly errand for us

Our experience at Elemental Spirits was exuberant. We we’re greeted with a smile the moment we walked inside, and informed us if we needed an sort of assistance. The staff is incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable of their spirits. I felt like I found a new home.

I came into the establishment looking for a bottle of champagne by Ambassador Charles Heidsieck. The customer service was so exceptional, not only did I buy the champagne, but I also purchased the TEN to ONE Caribbean Rum associated with UNCLE NEAREST! …

The staff here is friendly and pretty knowledgeable! Decent selection of whiskey, excellent selection of everything else! Prices are very fair. They had a good selection of store picks as well. A lot of aperitifs, liqueurs and other stuff to make cocktails.

Super helpful staff. Nice selection of old world wines. Got an affordable burgundy and vouvray to pair with dinner tonight. Would only be able to find these bottles at maybe one other offsite location in the city. Great addition to the neighborhood!

Super finely curated ship giving you an amazing selection of wines and spirits that you won't find in one place anywhere else with a staff that knows what they're talking about and offering you. Strongly suggest you give this place a try.

The service was excellent. I needed a gift for my father-in-law abc in minutes they found a great bourbon, told me all about it, and gift wrapped it, all with minimal contact. We will be making this our go to bottle shop from now on.

I have been passing by this shop on my way home and finally stopped in. The selection is excellent. I love the antique barware. I needed help with choosing a wine and the shopkeeper recommended Ultraviolet Cab Sav. It is excellent.

I really liked this shop - definitely not like the mega liquor stores. They carry some unusual spirits and interesting wines and mixers. The staff are super helpful. Some items are pricey but not outrageous. I'll be back

A well curated assortment of spirits. Carry some mezcals that I haven’t seen anywhere else in the Atlanta area. Inventory is also available online which is great to make sure somethings in stock before going.
