This school is absolutely trash (also I read some one got suspended from writing a review come one emc that’s pathetic after all it is called a REVIEW for a reason) all these teachers make me so mad, They don’t teach properly they are absolutely trash at there job there’s always fights and bullying. Most kids that go to emc have gotten depressed this is the worst school you could go to. I mean if you want your kid to be depressed, go through bullying, and not wanting to go to school then I suggest you put your kids there. This school is a joke they think they are so faboulous and there so amazing but no it’s a joke half the teachers don’t know what there talking about, they do nothing when it comes to a serious situation they just leave it and forget about it they don’t take nothing serious. Most kids that come to emc they leave after a month the school is that bad they had to change the name From langwarrin high to Elisabeth Murdoch College it doesn’t fool anyone we all know this school is a pice of trash. They try so hard to “add new thing” and they say “give us feed back to improve emc” but if we’re being for real they can never turn emc into a good school or a better school. Hate this school and most of the teachers so much never known the most rudest people and teachers in my life’s until I went to emc. (Doesn’t even deserve to have a star but won’t let me post it unless I give it at least one stupid star)

Still having nightmares from this place 14 years later, multiple threats against my life (both physical and spoken), severe bullying and assault, no help for obvious emotional distress and learning difficulties. During my time at this school I made multiple attempts upon my own life because of how hopeless it was. I was told that the "real world" would be much harder, I've never had such an intense lie told to me since. Despite many meetings to try to improve my situation it only ever got worse. Teachers would ignore literal threats and violence happening right in front of them, though I did get in trouble for defending myself on many occasions, including defending myself from a box cutter. I did not learn a single thing within this place, only ever outside of it in my own time and personal study. Only send your child here if you literally want them to die or be traumatised for the rest of their lives. better yet, burn it down and salt the earth.

I go to this school rn and I’m in year 7, overall it’s a okay school but I wouldn’t send my kids here just because, I got a detention 2 months ago because of leggings that everyone wears at the school and apparently I wasn’t aloud to wear them, and I also got a detention for socks that were black, one day I felt extremely unsafe because of a student there, the only good teachers there are (miss Taggart) (mr hyden) (mr jones) (miss hall) (mr fay) and (miss smart) that’s out of the teachers I’ve had this year, mr ferra is alr I guess but for some reason people don’t like him, he’s nice to me but maybe not others ig, anyways the skl is alr

This school isn't the worst out there. Some teachers can really make you want to learn, and make doing so a relatively easy task. Though, the students need to be dealt with better than just dishing out detentions (Since they don't seem to faze them). The teachers need to treat the well-behaved students with a bit more value, but for the most part the school is okay. I feel that being a year 7 here, the coming years won't be too much better, but by year 10 I should see this school in a better light. The teachers in this school do not know how to deal with bullying and do not care. They will literally watch someone get bullied each class right in front of their own eyes and not doing anything about it, but if somebody wears black socks, that's immediate detention. If you try to tell a teacher you're getting bullied all they will do is tell the bullies to say "sorry", which only makes things worse. Half of the students at this school are awful and will bully a student to the point of suicide and teachers could not care less, they are just in it for a pay check.

Loved my time at EMC. The teachers are absolutely exceptional and go above and beyond to really help you achieve your best and get the most out of your schooling years. I went through the Murdoch Program and recommend that if you are interested in really challenging yourself. The principal Mr Harper is also awesome and ready to help you if you have any issues or queries. The school facilities, especially the senior centre are modern and a nice learning environment. The dedication shown by the teachers who teach the senior levels really makes a difference!

horrible place, they're so caught up in the way they look. they don't accept students who are trying to be themselves, such as goths/emo. they don't accept piercings who make people comfortable and confidence with themselves. why does it matter? were here to learn not to so pick on how kids want to look. plus you cant even wear leggings not even in the winter where it goes to below 5 degrease. yes they have jackets and winter uniforms for girls but that still consists of wearing a skirt. pls do not enrol your child to this school!

I attended this school way back when it was still called Langwarrin Post Primary School and had only been open for two years. It was a good school. We became LSC and it's now EMC. The names can be changed over and over, the uniform can be changed; it doesn't guarantee that it's going to continue to provide quality education. I do hope that it's still a good school however, I had a great time there. When I started as a year 7 the school only went up to year 9 which was awesome :)

I'm currently in grade 9 at EMC and its the worst I'm not learning anything I have teachers that don't listen to questions, Teachers that don't even know how to teach their own class. I spent about $90 on a text book in math and I haven't used it all year . Also I had to do a Morrisby test recently and I got told that my grade don't even mater that I could fail every class and I would still probably get the job I wanted. they need to fix this school

If you let kids express themselves this school would actually be okay. Also Some teachers are okay just need to work on how much they care about the subject. Don't worry about the grade of the school worry about how the kids are going to turn out later on. instead of a detention for everything sit the kid down and talk to them ask them why they did what they did and try to understand them. don't just go straight to a detention.

My stars are for the students who stood up to the old-world mentality and mutinied on the photo shoot due to exclusionary policies. Twenty years ago, high school kids didn't have the kind of power that social media and our society provides you with today. The good teachers you've had over the years have supported you to find and use your authentic voice...well done for taking a stand and saying "enough is enough".

I am a student from a different school. Played T20 cricket against this team and I wad appalled. Robbery, I know we lost by 200 runs but rubbing sunscreen on the ball after making 250+ in the first innings shows little sympathy for my team. I know we would've still lost by 200 if they didn't cheat but this is diabolical. Also payed the umps to destroy our team.

My daughter went from never missing a day at primary school, had friends etc (different suburb) to becoming miserable and depressed while at EMC. Currently being threatened "to be bashed" if she returns there. Cannot wait for her to change school, and hopefully!! back to her old self. I'm so sorry others who have written experienced hell at this school too.

Wish there was an option to give no stars, I’m still recovering from the trauma here, EMC is the reason to why I can’t be in school anymore. The vice principal has a habit to pick on your child about how they look. They are criticising you even when they seem so nice. This is the worst school I’ve ever been to. DONT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE

This school is a very disrespectful school, disrespecting a child for putting up the "OG" Okay/cool sign at an event, i am deeply distressed at this teacher reporting this kid to a superior and getting him in trouble even though that uniform wasn't required, i'm not sure what the teachers name is but this is disgusting...

This place I the worst place to go all the want to do is give detentions out for anything like your 5 seconds late for class or your talking about the work when you've been told to and they give you any punishment they want but there are some really good teachers if your lucky to get them

Thanks to the staff at the school for the support they have given to the students over such a difficult time. I have just learnt of the situation from a student I help at the school. Your card and councillors have helped him make sense of a terrible situation. Well done

Not a very clean school the teachers treat the students like there animals and they act like there VIP in the school when some of them are just as smart if not that then in extreme cases the teacher is smarter but nice view that's all that is good about this school

Went here many years ago and it was a great school then, have heard a lot about it these days too and it makes me want to send my daughters when the time comes. The availability of good classes, teachers and activities is fantastic and I hope that it keeps up.

Pretty decent school. They have many opportunities and go above and beyond to do their best to help the students in any way they can. Despite some of the negative reviews, I can say with confidence that being in this school will help me get where I want to be.

the school is ok, but teachers either have too much work or not enough work, they need to learn when there is just enough work to do for the whole session so we don't have homework. and there is so much rubbish everywhere.

Emc is horrible they don’t even care about a students mental health , how is what students wear affecting there learning all emc does is care about there ratings and they don’t let students express there self.

teachers are over strict and give detentions and stuff for no reason i literally dropped my rubber by accident and got one, i think these teachers want promotions so they do unneccessary stuff

Disappointing to hear about the policies limiting self expression implemented by this school. Such a shame that young people need to face such judgement and prejudice in this era.

I love EMC I am so happy to be there this year seven Evey one is so nice and the teachers are awesome and every one has there opinion but trust me this shchool is awesome

this school is Trying so hard to be Politically Correct they are forgetting the fact its a school and not a political Office where everyone is treated like a princess.

Very, Very, Very, Very, Very great school they are really good at teaching and understanding a lot of things about learning. I recommend going here :)
